1️⃣ A Floresta Negra é um lugar entrelaçado de lendas e mitos. Mas, ao contrário do que o nome sugere, não é um lugar escuro e assustador. O nome vem das árvores que lá estão: Estas são principalmente abeto. Embora estas também não sejam negras, crescem muito rápido e denso. É por isso que a floresta parece particularmente escura onde as árvores de abeto estão. Mas como o escaravelho da casca se sente em casa na floresta densa de abeto, hoje os silvicultores plantam mais árvores caducifólias e por isso a Floresta Negra está se tornando cada vez mais colorida.

A Floresta Negra (Schwarzwald) serviu de inspiração para que os irmãos Grimm escrevessem Chapeuzinho Vermelho, João e Maria, entre outras fábulas.

2️⃣ Localizada nas proximidades de Schiltach, na região do estado de Baden-Württemberg, sudoeste da Alemanha, o local é um destino procurado por muitos turistas.
