OC-tober Day 31: Costume

yeahh, i know october's over, but i started this before november started and i wanted to at least have a finisher for my oc-tober escapades!

so uh, have another rea, but this time as a vampire :D red = vampire in my tiny predictable little pea brain so uh i just went for it--

i very much did not get to draw as many prompts as i wanted, but as i said on day 1, doing a challenge like this is new to me and i had a lot of fun!! very much looking forward to trying sth similar next year :D

#inscryption #kaycee's mod #bone deck #skull storm daily #i was WORRIED here that i was choking at the very last second it's usually so easy to beat the boss card #but i decided to pick up a last minute strange larvae that ALMOST fucked me #anyway this run was like. so funny but also so cursed #get this: so i already had a dire wolf pup starting- and i like Kept drawing more dire wolf pups like. throughout the run #i got like a whole pack of them. just picture me overrun by a hoard of puppies #and. and #i kept running into myco events. #and listen. i made the full metal alchemist joke before #but also? now i'm imagining the mycologist going 'SEVEN INTO ONE' #one of those puppies came from a cave trial and had like fucking. the wolverine sigil and many lives #eventually came out with a single shakily shambling‚ visibly stitched to hell and back‚ single 9/7 dire wolf pup with every sigil mentioned #plus annoying‚ for good measure #oh my god that horrifying creature TOTALLY saved my final boss fight though #forgot to make this post yesterday so i'm posting today

i adore the way they came out, especially Marzenna! so let's get to know them a bit shall we?

>Agaricus has a mother named Moreletia(made by my sister ), a father named Porcinius and a little brother named Spornelius(also made by my sister)

>Myco and Celia were inspired by two squishmallows i have and i based the designs of that, as pictured below

>you'll notice that, in Myco and Celia's designs, i made Myco a bit darker and Celia a bit paler. i also made their caps a bit darker(for Myco) and more vibrant(for Celia, as well as her spots being light blue instead of white). this was to make the designs i made a bit more unique and to not seem like an exact copy

>Agaricus' name was originally Danté and this was the first drawing of him(sorry about how bad it is lol)(also i've been considering changing Agaricus' name to either something more simple or something entirely different. suggestions are welcome and feel free to either comment them or leave them in my ask box ^^)

Day 1 - Self Portrait I uh. Usually like to embellish. A bit on what I look like. Between dysphoria about certain things and also having a disconnect between what I look like in my head versus how much weight I actually have on my body, I tend to draw myself as generic white boy A (not that I am. not. a generic white boy i'm just like a generic white boy grime lord. irl.) Anyways first time drawing myself as close to reality as I could with a quick style, threw Goose and Myco in there bc they're my lil Dudes. I genuinely do like how it came out, stylistically and color wise. Good practice.

#inscryption #kaycee's mod #ant deck #skull storm daily #WOOO first ant run! though it. didn't use as many ants as it could have for sure #i got two corpse maggots though and like a pair of both dire wolves and bears #i wanted to put sigils on both of them and myco them both together but i never got the chance 😔 sadge #lammergeier clutched out first two bosses as usual of course #i also killed the campfire guys just before boss 1 and snagged a mantis that i got to 3/1- then Another mantis that i myco'd with the first #and after some campfire buffs got it all the way to 4/10 which was fun #VERY helpful for those turn 1 wins for map 3 #kept that first flying ant the whole run too by putting a magpie sigil on it #i think that's really the play whenever you can't get rid of 1 cost cards very easily #you just sac a magpie onto it and then pick out the card you DO want for that turn 1 win #anyway- with the ant run complete that's every starting deck completed for skull storm! #tbh i think ant decks were the hardest run for me to really get the hang of for some reason i can't put my finger on why #i Feel like it has to do with annoying flying ant. it's so frail you can't even put it across from a stump to keep it safe it'll die quick #not a very great card to always draw first for most of the run #saccing my skunk onto it seemed to help at first to cancel out that annoying but saccing a magpie instead was DEFINITELY the play #so with all starting decks finished that's one unofficial goal complete! i don't really have any other goals prepped atm #but i could probably come up with some more- recreating that dope elk morsel totem run is something i REALLY want to do too #hatching and buffing some more curious eggs as much as i can is way up on my list too #as always suggestions are open as is the askbox #may every storm rain down skulls in your own future!
