“I love you,” Giyuu whispers, cheeks burning as he tucks you in, thumb curling a stray wisp of hair around the curve of your ear, a not-so-small part of him wishing his couch could fit the both of you. Head spinning, he stands, footsteps quiet as he heads to his own bedroom with its too large bed and too many pillows and too many blankets, a hollow taste in the air, carved out and waiting for you.

“I love you,” he murmurs after you close your front door, chest warm from the heat of your embrace, giddy smile mirroring yours, though he isn’t aware of that fact. You’re friends. You’re close. But How close? he ponders, sidewalk illuminated by autumn’s moonlight, the walk from your apartment to home not-so-far, but further than, say, living together.

“I love you,” he declares, bathroom too steamy to watch the movement of his lips, brow furrowing in dismay. How the fuck am I going to tell them? hunched over the sink, towel hanging loosely around his waist. He’s already told you I love you in casual passing. But I love you in authentic terms? Shit yanking a shirt on over his still damp skin I’m going to be late.

“I love you,” he blurts loudly, eyes wide, hands deep in his coat’s pockets. Maybe he should’ve started with Hello or Sorry I’m late, but the gleam of familiarity in your gaze as he entered your line of sight jostled him, confession nudged off the tip of his tongue.

“Giyuu!” you grin, cute wave greeting him, “Wait a sec,” pausing your music, Airpods suddenly visible as you slip them into their case, “Okay, hi!”

And despite the relief settling in his stomach, he can’t quite swallow the longing threatening to crawl up his throat, another I love you poised to take flight.

“I love you,” he says, voice shaky, palms clammy, “I love you as a friend, and I love you as however you’re willing to be with me.”

You blink. His eyes close, spine straight, spring’s quiet chill biting at his forearms. Perhaps your doorstep wasn’t the most romantic location to reveal his affection, but perhaps affection wouldn’t necessitate grandeur. Perhaps affection would be enough. Perhaps.

“Do you want to come in?” you ask softly, stepping aside to make room for him.

“Do you love me?”

Because you don’t have to love him—of course you don’t—but he’s too in love with you to Come in if all you can do is offer his heart back to him.

“Giyuu,” you laugh sweetly, steady fingers unclenching his fists, pressing them firmly to your sternum, “I do love you.”

Eyes slowly opening, he teeters toward you, sapphire stare incomprehensibly vast, hesitating a breath before his mouth touches yours.

“You want me to come in?” he rasps.

“I want you to stay.”

“For how long?”

“For however long you’re willing to be with me.

Forever he thinks as his nose brushes against yours Forever sounds good to me when he finally kisses you.

I had the best paranormal experience last night.

Some of you know my cat, Mircale, passed away last year, on may 26th, 5 days after her 14th birthday

i have been hearing and seeing her around but this was something else

I couldn't open my eyes, or really move

But I could move my hands and arms

I could feel her on my chest and belly, like she was laying on me.

like this but she was facing the other way, towards my face

I managed to raise a hand and pet her head

She hard leaned into the pet, I couldn't hear it but I felt her purring

Then she nuzzled against my chin as I patted her butt the way she liked

As I started to be able to move more she faded back to just being able to feel her on my chest. I couldn't pet her anymore.

So for the passed 2 months I’ve been busy with Hurricane Sally kittens! 😻 I am a huge Foster Failure! Meet our new kitties… Kazu, Romeo, Quincy & Forrest! Yes, all 4 are Boys💙 We also caught their mom “Mama Moo Moo” and had her spayed, vaccinated & ear-tipped. She is extremely wild & is now a cared for community cat in my neighborhood.
