IT'S MY FIRST OFFICIAL EVENT YAY!!!

Happy Valentine's Day lovelies! I have a killer event this year and hope to have a year full of fun events like this one!

In this special event, I will be doing matchups! Tell me about yourself! Your hobbies, your appearance, what you want out of a relationship and most importantly, your dream first date! I will write you a short summary of why you and this person fit and I will write you two a romantic valentine's day date <3

From February 7-13, I will be taking matchups and having 7 days full of Valentine's dates! I should have every matchup done by February 14! And every day I will have 5 slots open so I don't overwhelm myself with a ton of matchups, so they will go FAST! (that will be 30ish matchups in total at the end).

Using the matchup rules you will tell me a bit about yourself and from there I will write you your request! Pick from any fandom in my pinned post.

Tell me about your dream first date! I will write you and your matchup character on a sweet date :)

Let's say you've already gotten a matchup from me and you REALLY want to participate in this event. Send me the matchup I gave you (give me a link) and you can either change your fandom or ask for another character from the same fandom! I will not write you a date for a character you previously had a matchup for. This is a mystery date after all ;)

Please read ALL of the rules in the matchup rules and my pinned post and follow them or your ask will be deleted!

Sometimes John wears yellow eyeglasses that Jane gave him and sometimes he wears green glasses that Jade gave him. Dave gave him pink glasses and Rose gave him blue glasses.

Roxy got him red glasses, and Dirk got him purple glasses. Jake got him black glasses in a funny shape.

“How is he supposed to see out of these, Jake?”, asked Jade.

“Uh, with his eyes?”, answered Jake.

“Dude.”, commented Dirk.

“What? I thought he’d get a kick out of them!”, defended Jake.

“They look like one of those cheap, tacky new years glasses.”, said Dave as he held them up.

Jake huffed and snatched them out of Dave’s hands. He handed them to John.

“Jake, he’s right. They are cheap, tacky new years glasses- which are out of date by the way.”, said John as he put them on for a moment.

John could not see the pole in front of him when he tried to walk a round, Rose pulled him a way from the pole.

“Careful John, don’t want to hurt your face right?”, giggled Rose.

“Yeah, I have a date later. Thanks Rose!”, chirped John as he put his other glasses on.

John ran off when he realized he needed to go home. Everyone watched him go and it went quiet.

“What the Fxck did he mean ‘date’? He’s seeing someone?”, said Dave.

Jade got the great idea to spy on him. The mission had begun but who it was? We will never know!

Uvogin finished plating both of your tacos and you ran to the living room, almost spilling your food all over the floor. Luckily, Uvogin saved it, laughing at you. "Babe," he giggled, leading you to the couch. "Don't drop all your food." "I won't, I won't," you insisted, setting yourself comfortably before turning on the movie. "You ready for a night full of horror?" "Hell yeah!!" Uvogin's mouth was already full of tacos and you giggled, placing a kiss onto his cheek and starting the movie. The two of you watched plenty of horror movies to scare anyone normal, but you two were perfectly fine and fast asleep in each other's arms. The TV was glowing it's default screen with nothing on it, and you two were just snuggled up, snoring together. Eventually, Uvogin woke, finding you fast asleep. He smiled at you and carried you to bed, where he cuddled up with you and whispered, "Happy Valentine's Day." Softly in your ear. <3

I made this garlic butter chicken orzo that was really good and would be even easier to make with a rotisserie chicken.

CRAVING

The mushroom risotto at Alioli in Mississauga is one of my favourite things to eat when I visit my parents.

EATING

The homemade hot sauce at Coppelia in Chelsea might be the best one I’ve ever tasted at a restaurant before.

EXPERIENCING

Forced the kids to play Mystery Date with me and that game really stands the test of time.

San Remo’s had this giant Nutella selection of baked goods for World Nutella Day and their fritter was wild.

SHOPPING

Finally bought the tea tree shampoo and conditioner from The Body Shop (because I am single-handedly keeping that store in business). I’m excited to see if it’s worth the hype (the hype that I’ve created in my mind, not one person on this earth is hyped about tea tree shampoo anymore, I realize).

WATCHING

I saw some old episodes of Curb since the new season is back this week and I’d completely forgotten how much I hate the newer seasons. Just absolute trash.

WEARING

I’m in such a clothing rut. I just spent three weeks visiting my parents and when I’m there I wear the same three things over and over, so maybe I’m recovering from that? I need to shake things up.
