This was my style pre-painting so it’s really interesting to look back on! I also believe this was my first time drawing a sci-fi fantasy character which thanks to this game specifically I’ve gotten a lot of good practice of since then^^

Dungeons and Dragons is more often than not an adopting sim, and my tiefling wizard/artificer, Mythannae, is most thrilled to have adquired a new baby- (That's baby Púlsar, an air genasi/aasimar bean!)

That baby may be the result of two BBEGs pairing up, but they are far too cute (and in need of new parents after, uh, the party murdered them), but no problem with that! Their parents both wanted to use them as a magic battery once they grew up. Now I get to do a cute picture of the freshly adquired child-

It had been a while since I drew Myth but I'm quite happy with his face here! Dad-shaped all around. As always, reblog helps with art plenty!

"Do you mean the MythFriend? Or as I think it should be named, the YxalaFoe? That's some dumb thing my brother made, which I've been unwillingly stuck with ever since we accidentally got into a pact. All it does is this weird coo-coo noise and flirting attempts with anything round, as well as being a general menace. I don't know, Mythannae said he used it as a familiar- And now that our pact is a bit stronger, I think he hopes I'll do the same, but... Gods, couldn't I just get a regular Imp or something?"

(Thank you for the ask! Yxala just got level 3 on warlock, picked pact of the chain, and the MythF(r)iend shall become her familiar now. She doesn't get along with it. The MythFriend LOVES to antagonize her)

So Mythannae had to resurrect @boociforme ‘s Centi last session bc she just FUCKING DIED. Good thing he just got his level 9 on artificer and she was carrying a diamond- That Revivify was CLUTCH as fuck

He had been out of the frontline for weeks now and having an adopted daughter die in front of him was not!!! very good!!! now he’s EXTRA concerned for her wellbeing

The third sexyblorbo poll is none other than the Dad Match! Vote for either of these troubled dads! We've got some finely aged blorbos today. A small summary on each:

Mythannae Erant was my former PC before the switch to Yxala. He's now content to stay in the backline and adopt whichever kids the main party stumbles upon. Also adopted Centi, a party member. He is making up for his corpo past working for one of the BBEGs. Currently in a polycule with Jorven and Yden, his former roomate.

Ailanthus Sreysnah is a character of ancient times- In fact, my first full drow character! He has a troubled military past where he hunted down mages, but ended up realizing his actions were wrong after sibling drama. Now, he's trying to get redemption- By adopting a kid from a very questionable friend of his.

These two have quite a lot in common, so the choice may be hard! It is within your power which square-jawed father-of-the-year gets to win this match!

Just to keep it equal, here's some fun facts about Mythannae following the ask about Ailanthus:

Mythannae has very beefy studies. He ended up making a start up company together with Yden, focused on enchanted clothes fitting for fantasy needs (fire-proofed stuff, clothes that would adapt to transformations, accommodation for unusual limbs, that stuff)

Yden was their roommate before that. They, uh, ended up falling into the "they were roommates" trope, but it took them 48 goddamn years to confess (drow stuff I guess!)

The company (Mystic Patrons) was bought by a megacorporation (Thunder corp), which Yden hated, so they left and married and had kids- All while Myth got very obsessed with being a Proper Corpo

Yden returned 15 years later with 2 twin kids after having fought with their wife (one of the BBEGs in fact), asking Myth for shelter. Myth gave them shelter and immediately just went "oh so I'm unofficially adopting your two kids too : )"

They STILL did not confess up until a bunch of sessions ago- 7 years after Myth unofficially adopted the kids

Has also adopted a party member now. And a baby we just found in Thunder's building (who is sibling to the party member)

He's mute! Uses sign language for communication : ) It's quite widespread in this setting 'cuz drow

He's an armorer artificer, and his armor has an extra set of fists~

Also as an extra doodle, here is Myth (center), Yden (second to the left), Jorven (right, sitting down) and the kids (left and the one lying down) as they are currently in the campaign : )
