I just realized another thing Yuji and Miruko have in common!!

Somehow, they're associated with tigers and rabbits!!

For Miruko, her quirk is Rabbit. Her last name literally has "rabbit" in it! (Her name is Rumi Usagiyama.) For the "tiger" bit, during her high school days she went by "Tiger Bunny" and wore a tiger striped mask. (Which references Tiger and Bunny, the anime, I believe.)

For Yuji, his nickname from others is "Tiger of West Middle". For the "rabbit" bit, he was seen petting Megumi's rabbit in that one scene. (Later, the rabbits actually fight Toji similarly to how Yuji would fight someone, I kid you not.) There was also that one scene with Mahito where he (Yuji) was like a wolf pursuing Mahito who was the rabbit in that scenario.

It's not his fault that paper tastes like wood and mint, or that lies leave a saltiness that prints itself onto his tongue for days. It's especially not his fault that quirks just so happen to taste like fizzy melon candies.

Nobody's ever said that picky eaters can't become heroes, though.

Midoriya Izuku is medically quirkless, not technically homeless, perpetually exhausted and doing his damned best despite it all. He also sees spirits, which might be cool if not for the fact that a) no one else does, b) they really don't like him very much, and c) he's pretty sure the heroes now think he's a villain working for the League.

Aizawa Shota just wants to take down Overhaul, rescue Eri, keep his students alive, get some rest, and find out how this Deku kid knows things he absolutely should not know about his personal life and the Shie Hassaikai case.

Unless Nighteye's right, and the kid really is a villain.

Mythical BNHA Character: Diamond

This is going to be the first in a series of potential fanfiction stories that I want to read but do not have the talent to write. One thing that they will all have in common is that the reader/oc is the mythical creature (most of the characters are portrayed as female but they don’t have to be), it is set in the bnha mythical au, they are mostly romance fics, and the main color theme for the character is white. (p.s. if anyone happens to find this and is inspired to write a story, please send me the link I want to read it).

Diamond’s species: Dragon

Personality: Very curious about everything but mix it with suspicion. She was alone for such a long time that she doesn’t understand what is deemed as acceptable or not. When she discovers something new she lights up, no matter how insignificant it may seem to others. When she first saw a flower her eyes practically sparkled.

Background: Once upon a time, there was a beautiful kingdom with a kind royal family that had wonderful children. One day, tragedy struck, and the youngest royal became deathly ill. No one thought she would make it, and out of desperation the Queen reached out to a magical healer. The healer saved the princess, but put a curse on her as well, turning her into a terrible beast. Unable to bear the thought of killing her child, the Queen locked her away in the gem mines near the castle, and the kingdom mourned the loss of their beloved royal.

Now, here’s what actually happened.

The young princess had died of her illness before the healer arrived. The healer was actually a master of dark magic that the Queen had found and ordered them to bring the princess back to life. The healer knew that the soul of the child had already passed on, and that the price of dragging it back would be grave. The queen ignored their warnings and agreed to pay any price to have her precious daughter returned. The spell proceeded as planned, and the soul was dragged back into the body, and now begins the consequences. While dragon shifters do exist in this world, they were not quite like this. It was almost as if her body was stuck mid-shift, between human and dragon. Such a mutation is seen as a bad omen in this world, and the queen blamed the “healer.” The healer fled and the queen locked her child into the mines so she wouldn’t have to see the results of her meddling with death.

Skip forward a few years, two children sneak into the mines because they heard it was rumored to hold the most beautiful of gems. However, the caves are dangerous, and one of the children nearly fall into the many openings in the floor. He is saved by the “monstrous princess,” and once everyone gets over their fear, the children ask her about the gems and probably show her an example so that she knows what they are talking about (she has a hard time speaking, since she has been locked away the majority of her life).When she finally understands them, she takes them to her own little hoard of jewels. (Unlike other dragons, she does not mind of one or two of her hoard’s gems is given to others, she likes to collect but not necessarily keep, if that makes sense). She can scale (ha) the walls to dig for more if they ask her to, getting a particularly beautiful one just for them. After that the children would always sneak back into the caves whenever they visited that specific kingdom, eager to play with their new, scaly friend.

Appearance: White dragon without wings. Horns, claws, fangs, tail, and bundles of scales dotted around her body. All of these are white, as are her hair and eyes (they weren’t before the spell). Pale because of how long she has been stuck in her cave. Her eyes are where she gets her name from, because whenever she gets super excited they sparkle like the gems she is surrounded with.

Likely partners: Bakugou, Kirishima, maybe both.

Toga Himiko’s True Quirk

(Toga and Quirk Meta) (Long Meta, Permission to use anywhere given)

Toga Himiko’s Quirk is officially “Transform” but I believe that there’s a deeper twist, a hidden classification of her Quirk that better explains everything about Toga herself.

Toga’s action and the events surrounding her, and what she wants most as part of her Normal.

This change in definition for her would explain everything.

Quirks can be anything in Bnha’s setting but when they do correlate with something, the recognizable parts of their power, the host of the Quirk always has other qualities that pair with that definition.

There’s the Nature and Animal based Quirks:

Kamui Woods and Bubble Girl are both Heroes with Quirks based off of natural things: Wood and Bubbles.

The Rabbit Hero Mirko is, obviously, based off of a Rabbit.

But the important thing to note in these cases is the “Favorite Things” Part of their descriptions:

Kamui: Forest Strolls

Bubble Girl: Bathing

Mirko: Carrots

All things that connect with their Quriks.

Another important thing to note is that Quirks aren’t restricted to just “Real Things/Beings”:

The Hero Ryukyu’s Quirk is based off of a Dragon, a Mythical being, and what is her “Favorite Thing”?

“Anything Sparkly”

A trait very common among Dragons in fantasy; like Smaug from the Hobbit or Fafnir from the Norse Mythology. (Not a direct comparison to ‘Wealth/Gold’ but definitely close enough to get the point across.)

Quirks influence the Host’s “Likes/desires”

Not only reflecting their physical appearance but also their internal drives, compelling them to certain things.

Now it could be argued that they only like these things because their Quirks gave them the idea in the first place and nothing more but I don’t think that’s true:

Hawks and Tsuyu (Hawk and Frog) both exhibit the need to Consume the things related to their Quirks: Chicken and Insects.

A more clear cut to see in Tsuyu’s case, since Insects wouldn’t be normal for her to want to eat as opposed to Chicken with Hawks, but the implications come across clearly:

The Host’s Quirk influencing their Diet.

How does all of this tie back in to Toga and her Quirk?

The Bakeneko

Even just the appearance is pretty familiar right??

And the Similarities keep pairing up perfectly from there.

First with the small examples:

They are said to lurk in the mountains when in hiding:

The league of Villains as a whole hid in the mountain areas during My Villain Academia.

The Bakeneko’s Tails:

Legends vary on the Bakeneko’s tail, in that with age it can split and become multiple tails, although technically becoming a different, nearly indistinguishable type of Youkai in the process.

But it’s also said that the Bakeneko’s Tail can summon “Ghostly Fireballs” that can Ignite Houses, burning them down.

Maybe a “Ghostly Fire” summoned through Toga’s “Tale” instead?

Now the much more clear cut Parralels:

They can walk without making a sound: With espionage being one of her most prominent traits, holding her breath and clearing her mind allows Himiko to erase her presence and allegedly vanish from her enemies' view. This ability isn't limited to ambushes, as it can be used in combat as well, disappearing if the opponent averts their attention from her, even for an instant.

Their Wild Nature that remains despite the gentleness they can show:

Having the Power of Necromancy, upon raising the Dead, will control them:

And finally, it is believed that a Bakeneko can transform if they drink the Blood of Murder Victims:

Everything fits, a Mythical Creature (like the Dragon), with its desires matching up to its defined being.

Likes: Bubble Girl - Baths, Kamui Woods - Forests, Ryukyu - Shiny things

Consumes: Hawks - Chicken, Tsuyu - Insects, Mirko - Carrots

Toga Himiko Likes and Consumes – Blood

Which ties in and gives even more weight to the fact that Toga never had a Choice in her existence, because this is what she is, in her desire for Blood being no more normal than any of the other examples listed above.

No person besides her has ever been shown to be unable to attain these “Favorite Things” connected to their Quirk aspects, as they’re all things that would fall under society’s acceptable “Normal”; such as eating Chicken or Carrots or taking Baths.

Or the things could be obtained secretly without any harm caused: Tsuyu likely eating insects in private when no one is around or Ryukyu getting Shiny Things as part of her very Lucrative Career of being a Hero.

The question Bnha may indirectly be asking: what would many years of depriving those “Favorite Things” do to someone’s mental state?

What would they become?

Toga Himiko is the answer.

• Keith and Pidge get framed for like a very serious crime and are on the run and wanted across the universe.

• Allura is alive and there and it is never confirmed how (Someone: Wait, Princess Allura? Didnt you die? How are you still alive? Allura: Oh yeah i did almost die! However *background loud car crash noises, machine revving sounds, things falling sounds, cats sound in the background. Just basically that One troupe™, you know the one* and that is how i survived.)

• Kuron is also alive, it is also never confirmed how (Some completely random bullshit: *happens* Kuron: This is just like the day i came back to life)

• Anyway while Keith and Pidge are on the run, Allura and Coran are handling the diplomacy front since you know Keith and Pidge are both pretty high profile, Kuron Hunk and Matt along the Blades handle damage control, communication and extraction of Keith and Pidge. Shiro and Lance have the arguably the most important job, find out whodunnit while also distracting the detectives on the case from getting too close to Keith and Pidge.

• Lance and Shiro take this job Very very Seriously.

• Like Lance is playing up the dumb goofball as he "accidentally" "loses" the evidence and just doesnt seem to be "taking the job seriously" or is "unable to follow the instructions" really Detective, dont you know? The Blue Paladin is a very clumsy carefree guy! Honest!!!

• Shiro meanwhile is playing up the straight laced bureucrat rule follower. "No we can not go down there yet! We have to follow the protocol!!" Shiro says having never followed that protocol ever. "I am sorry but the rules clearly state we have to do this in this time consuming way" Shiro says knowing full well that rule is ancient and doesnt apply anymore. "I understand your concerns, however the procedure X95t-78v is a vital procedure required for any paperwork to go futher," Shiro says, he made that procedure up.

• Detective's partner suspects they are both full of shit, but cant prove it. Detective knows full well they are both full of shit, CAN prove it, but doesnt really care about it, because she's like 75% sure Keith and Pidge didnt do it.

• The Detective is by the way straight out of a Noir film, like it legit goes black and white when it is her pov and has full noir style narration going on, and she smells of cigars and coffee and rain and is also sopping wet and divorced

• Hunk goes from, "Ok guys i know this is hard but please you have to listen to us, we just want to keep you guys safe." To "I will literally throw hammers at both of you and get you arrested myself if you two dont shut the fuck up."

• Kuron is just vibing man, just chilling, doing his job, a bit red-eyed. He might be a bit high (he needs that weed to keep Traumas™ at bay)

• Allura is fighting for her life trying to handle the diplomacy front and put out fires. Everytime she and Coran make some headway Keith and Pidge end up on the front news after causing mayhem in some random planet and she has to start all over again

• Lance just knows soooo many people. He knows a Guy™ for everything. When asked he's like, "Oh it was during the time when Keith was off with BoM and Lotor was in ship. I kinda didnt have much to do so i just went off on my own." Lance, Lance why do you know these space pirates? Lance why do you know a famed recluse blacksmith who apparently also is a spy? Lance why do you know this mythic species thought to be long extinct? Lance why do you know a god of death? How the fuck do you know a God of Death, and why-why are they calling you babygirl?

• There is another God who knows Coran and calls him babygirl btw

• My main goal here is to gaslight people. There are some facts that were totally canon but reintepreted in a way that wasnt the writers intent. There are some facts that are canon but a little bit molded. There is atleast one episode/season that is hinted to be a mass hallucination and not canon at all. It works best if Netflix removes the original and its wiki gets corrupted./j

• Lgbtqia+ rep is Shiro and Curtis navigating their relationship through long distance, their own trauma and the post war era universe, atleast 2 characters being the focus in a valentine day episode only to come out as aroace, and a B-plot about Lance having just the most atrocious taste in men. Like men you wont believe were allowed to exist.
