So.... I recently discovered that the hodag was a thing, and I might be a little obsessed. ... He's described as having the head of a frog, teeth like an elephant, lateral horns like an ox, stocky legs with huge claws, a spiny back like a dinosaur, and long tail with spears at the end. He has fine green hair, glowing red eyes like a sunset, and a mischievous (and sometimes malicious) demeanor. Standing about 30 inches tall, he eats water snakes, mud turtles, fish and sometimes white bulldogs. Anywho

The draffin is a 7ft semi-aggressive omnivorous creature. They have the ability to spit their stomach acid if they have eaten recently, which can cause painful burns. They can shoot two different ways: A straight line, for more precision, or a cone, for more area burns. They can be found living in cave systems, becoming aggressive when their homes are threatened. It is rather difficult for them to hunt due to their size, so they will mainly intimidate other creatures away from their kills, attempting to not get in a fight as they have very soft skin. Or, they will eat other food sources such as berries and tree-fruits, sometimes even eating tree bark or roots. Unique to these specimins, during the mating season, once a female has either given birth or laid her eggs, (These creature have a unique reproductive track, meaning some lay eggs, while others give live birth.) she will leave and let the males care for the young until they can depart in the late winter.

The Deceitful Masquerade of the Rakshasa

In the heart of the bustling city, amidst the noise and chaos of the markets, there lurked a creature of darkness. It walked among the people, its form shifting and twisting with every step. To some, it appeared as a wealthy merchant, with a silken robe and a sly smile. To others, it was a noble, with fine features and impeccable manners. But to those who knew what to look for, it was a rakshasa.

The rakshasa's true form was a terrible thing to behold. It stood on two legs, like a man, but its body was covered in striped fur, like a tiger. Its face was a mixture of human and feline, with piercing yellow eyes and sharp teeth that glinted in the sunlight. But the most disturbing feature of all was its hands, which were turned backwards, with the palms facing up.

The rakshasa had come to this place to feed, to satisfy its insatiable hunger for human flesh. It moved through the crowds, selecting its prey with care. It preferred those who were powerful or influential, for their deaths would cause the greatest chaos and confusion.

But the rakshasa was also a creature of subtlety and misdirection. It knew that if it was to maintain its power and influence, it had to keep its true nature a secret. And so it masqueraded as a respected member of society, charming and charismatic, always ready with a smile or a witty remark.

But beneath the surface, the rakshasa was a being of pure evil. It had been born in the Nine Hells, a place of darkness and torment, where the devils had created a dark ritual to free their essence from their fiendish bodies. The rakshasa had been one of the first to embrace this new existence, to become a spirit in mortal flesh.

And now, it had all the memories and knowledge of its former life, and it sought retribution against those who had wronged it. For a rakshasa, death on the Material Plane meant an agonizing return to the Nine Hells, where its essence remained trapped until its body reformed. But when it was reborn, it was filled with a burning hatred, a desire for revenge against those who had brought about its downfall.

And so the rakshasa continued to walk among the people, a creature of darkness and deceit, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. For it knew that one day, it would have its revenge, and all those who had wronged it would suffer a terrible fate.
