Tea’s favorites

This is a post for myself actually, as I am keeping track of how I feel writing each story, but I figured some people might be mildly interested. That is the only reason I’m making it public.

Obviously I love all my stories, even the ones I wrote earlier on, and were objectively less entertaining. But these are an assortment of stories I personally really enjoyed creating. Probably. Some of the older ones might have horrendous grammar but that doesn’t stop me from loving them.

Anyway, my own favorites out of all the stories I’ve written, in chronicle order. Under the cut

Freshly Drugged and Ready to be Slaughtered

Haikyuu!!//Oikawa x Futakuchi

I just. I like the title of this story so much,,,

When I was trying to figure out their districts I took a look at the descriptions and they slot perfectly in place with my idea of both of them being Careers. I was sure then that it was meant to be. Once in a while I encounter a story that slides together on its own and this is one of those, ones that I didn’t have to lose my mind over, ones that might as well be written on their own. I remember writing this story at my grandparents’ house, on the PC with the smooth keyboards. It was a ton of fun and despite knowing the ending before I even started writing (a friend ran the boys through a Hunger Games simulator and screenshotted the result. I worked from there.), it was a joy coming up with their backstories.

Haikyuu!!//Oikawa x Futakuchi

I remember wanting to write a simple story, one that’s not gonna exhaust my one braincell, and this was certainly a simple story to write. I just asked myself, what are some very stupid things to argue over, and combine that with my very limited experience with living in a dorm, made this nonsense of a story.

In all honesty I just liked the setting of that ED and wanted to write some girls.

Not Subtle At All

Romeo And Juliet//Benvolio x Mercutio

To this day, this might be my favorite story I’ve ever written. Ever.

I love love love Benvolio Montague. I love him. And I will never stop thinking about how he’s like the only surviving kid in the entire play. (Other than Rosaline, I suppose? I also love Rosaline but that’s besides the point) This story includes so many of my headcanons for Benvolio and the Montacrew in general, and because the source material is so old and not terribly detailed, I get a lot of leeway constructing the characters.

The reason I wrote this, funnily enough, is that I was chatting to a friend about Shakespeare, and we were talking about how absolutely non-threatening would Tybalt be if he were a nine-year-old. She drew a picture of tiny Tybalt dragging a sword too big for him, and I wrote this story. Tiny Tybalt holds my heart tbh.

Hell Is Empty

Inazuma Eleven Orion//Haizaki x Hiroto

I liked them rooming together a little too much that I wanted more of it so I wrote this story. I also like Hiroto & Tatsuya brotp. And shenanigans. In conclusion I am terribly predictable what else is new?

The List (Of you. Always you.)

Mob Psycho 100//Shigeo x Teruki

*chants* Pining Mob! Pining Mob! Pining Mob!

In Terumob fics we’re always seeing dumb gay teruki and while that’s good I want more of pining Mob. So I said to myself, write it yourself you coward. And I did.

Mob’s pov is surprisingly fun to write!! He’s so soft!!!! He deserves all the happiness in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good News (He’s Dead)

Haikyuu!!//Oikawa x Futakuchi

I think it would be fairer to say that I love what this fic could be, rather than what it is.

This story was a challenge for me, above everything else. It was me telling myself to write what I want to see, and it built up from there. There was so much I’d come up with the worldview of this story, but not much made it into the final product, and I thought I might write more bits, but I didn’t, because there’s something nice about not knowing for sure what happened after the story ended. I do still plan on writing for this universe at least, 1. oikawa & iwaizumi reunion. 2. tenma centric. When they will be done? Can’t say for sure, but know that these are still on my mind constantly.

The biggest joy of writing rarepairs is receiving comments, as they are usually lengthy, driven by the sheer adrenaline of spotting a fellow shipper. I got to talk to a few oifuta shippers, and it’s such a wonderful feeling!

Oifuta is that ship I will never be able to drop, and I’ve accepted my fate.

Half Full

Given//Ugetsu centric

I love Ugetsu a whole lot okay? And no, I don’t ship him with akihiko because I don’t ship akihiko with anyone.

This was me getting upset at the fact that anime-onlys were actually getting mad at Ugetsu for... existing?? I remember seeing his debut and being hyped and then seeing posts hating on him for apparently getting in the way of their ship, which is simply ridiculous tbh.

So yeah I was sad about that and I was sad about the fact that most Ugetsu fics I saw are angsty? And sad?? And revolve around his disastrous relationship with Akihiko??? And yeah that’s all fine and good but where’s my comfort story? Self care is writing an Ugetsu centric about him adopting a grumpy cat and still keep in contact with Mafuyu because I’m never ever ever giving up on that Ugetsu & Mafuyu friendship. (Their interactions are what first got me to fall in love with Ugetsu actually.) Pry it out of my cold, dead, hands.

I like this emotional purgatory, and willingly could waste my time in it.

Mairimashita! Iruma-kun//Iruma x Asmodeus

So, more of a series. This was fun, this was ridiculous, and this was entertaining for me. I got to toy with a third person all knowing perspective, which I rarely ever used, and it was a blast. Sometimes you just want to write about idiotic mutual pining.

On another note, I’ve been told by someone once that they thought my summary for this series sucked, and they didn’t originally want to read the story because of it, but honestly, I thought these summaries were a stroke of genius. I am so proud of myself for coming up with these summaries, because they give off this chaotic energy I was aiming at. I like to treat summaries as if they are part of the story format, so I always craft my summaries carefully to match the feeling of the actual story, or I’d just put on an excerpt. I thought the summaries were very on brand with the rest of the stories, personally, and I adore them a lot, so I thanked them for their feedback but kept my summaries.

On that account, it’s actually a little rude to give criticism to an author who didn’t ask for any, especially if it isn’t even constructive. I wasn’t particularly upset about what the person said to me, but this is just a little food for thought.

The Sun, the Moon, and the Truth

Mairimashita! Iruma-kun//Iruma x Asmodeus

Of all the AUs I’ve come up with, this is the one I’m proudest of.

The tenderness! The fragility! Spare me! I love how peaceful and serene this entire worldview feels to me. I also love the birb-secret comparisons. I fear this is my peak, that I will never come up with an AU that rivals this one in my heart.

Inazuma Eleven unpopular opinions

Hello there. While I was listening to my malicious music playlist, I decided to upload some of my unpopular opinions about Inazuma Eleven, that I wanted to share. Okay, I am not going to insult anybody. These are just my opinions and I have no intentions in opposing you guys, I am just free to express my own opinions after seeing so many of yours.

Without further ado, let's get started:

1. Kozoumaru is totally acceptable in his new look.

I've seen a lot of you complaining about his weight-loss and sudden rise in height, which is assumed as a 'disrespect' towards chubbier and shorter people and I strongly disagree. Every single person in the world is capable of losing weight and this also counts for the anime characters. I don't see why you people rage that much because of that. I know you all were good with his previous weight and stuff, but Imagine if he was not feeling well in his skin before? I mean, you are exaggerating a bit too much. Its understandable that you may not like his current look, but there is nothing you can do about it.

2. Again linked to Kozoumaru, he doesn't look alike with Gouenji.

Except the hair shape and dark eyes, he doesn't resemble him at all. His skin is darker and his hair as well, and I don't know why everyone is exaggerating that much that they look alike. This means that they don't know well his teammate and its sickening as hell, at least for me.

3. I actually don't like Norika's new haircut.

I am not gonna lie, she looks cute as hell, but somehow I don't find it that suitable for her. I do not know how to explain it, but it leaves me uneasy with this haircut. It sure seems a lot lighter and its easier to play like that, I can confirm from a personal experience. Regardless... give our girl more screen time!

4. Not every single person from the team is a good boy. (No matter from which season)

Not everyone in the team is a good mommy boy and follows orders. There sure will be someone from the team that is an asshole and does some inappropriate things. Even if a certain person is your fave, doesn't mean that they don't have some kind of a dark secret, or it doesn't mean people are prohibited to headcanon one. For example, I have a headcanon that Hiroto once tried to beat up his dad because he grounded him, and that he tried alcohol before. There is nothing wrong if there is a person from the team that has something dark in them. If you try to attack a person just because they have this type of headcanon, you better back off. Not everyone can be an angel, not even Tenma. Doesn't matter their age.

5. Gay ships are overrated and are getting sickening.

Let us not forget about the presence of the girls in the anime. Norika, Anna, Haruna, Natsumi, Reina, Ootonashi, Beta, Orca, Rika, Touko, Hilary, Powai, Aki, Despina, Lalaya, Kinako, Sakura, Konoha and you know. I barely see any ships with them, since everyone is actually turning the guys into gays and focuses mainly on them, which makes the girls' presence useless. I love gays, but seeing only male ships and total segregation from the girls it makes me upset. Not everyone should be gay, girls need love too. Gay ships are way too overrated and overshadow the girls, so I think it is getting sickening and we need MF/WW ships yo. Like Norika x Nishikage. It is a really crack one, but it is still a hetero ship, or Nae x Norika. There are girls in the anime as well and you always complain about them not having enough screen time and attention, GIVE IT TO THEM THEN!

6. Dub names and Dub audios are lit as hell.

Every single person I've met and mentioned their dubbed names, they always go like 'Ew, dub names. Ew, dub audio'. Personally, I find both dubs amazing and lit as fucc, and I also don't see anything so cringey and upsetting in the names and audios. Like Nosaka's dubbed name (Heath Moore), I like it and I think it suits him. Sometimes, dubbed episodes are even better than the originals.

7. The original series are no better than the others.

Lemme state that every single IE season was amazing as hell (even Chrono Stone which I kinda dislike). The staff actually did so much work to please our needs for Inazuma Eleven. Every single season is amazing and no better than the other, I think that we should thank Hino for coming up with the idea of this anime and create the fandom.
