• That being said, the flirtation begins. He is terrible at it... He respects boundaries and is incredibly respectful but he 100% butchers pickup lines because he genuinely thinks our generation likes those.

- "Do you have an extra heart? Mine was stolen."

- Can demons have strokes? That's probably what you are saying

- Angel Dust hears and DIES. Surprisingly gives some solid advice.

- "Stop with the pick-up lines. Just be yourself and it'll work, trust me, ya weirdo..."

- So he does. AKA secretly follows you, will randomly spawn to open doors for you or pull out chairs, chivalry isn't dead, dear! Also tells you about his grizzly murders in his lifetime, if anyone disrespects you prepare for your knight in shoulder pads, will be slick and dedicates one of his radio shows to you and plays an old song from his day. Makes you SWOON. Angel is proud.

- Also likes dates to Cannibal Town and introduces you to Rosie. She thinks you are the cutest thing in the world, prepared to be coddled by both.

📻 He likes to play dress up with you if you let him. Picking out your wardrobe is SO fun for him.

📻 Is a top tier cook. Usually prefers meat and will cook that for you, but if he finds out you are a vegan/pescitarian/etc he will do that. Gets excited when you compliment his cooking.

📻 HE HAS A SECRET TAIL HE IS ASHAMED OF AND I WILL NOT HIDE IT. I LOVE WHEN POWERFUL CHARACTERS HAVE A MILD INCONVENIENCE THAT MAKES THEM LESS SCARY.

📻 He learns words and if it's not from Rosie... Be prepared because it gets bad and gets cringe.

- "Ah! Darling, I heard some demons today as I was on a stroll, they were from your era. What is a mee-mee?"

📻 I know it says he's not big on touch but I HC he really doesn't care. He never seems to show any recoil from it, but maybe its just if its strangers?

📻 Angel is the only male he doesn't really have a problem with, hence when he hears about Valentino he has a bit of anger, also just because he thinks hes gross and perverse. Someone like that doesn't deserve to be breathing.

📻 Whiskey is his forte. VERY picky with his drinks, he doesn't like the cheap stuff like Husk does. A lot of people say he drinks wine but I imagine he only likes the hard stuff.

📻 He is the type of man to leave the toilet seat up. Vaggie has voiced her opinions on it.

📻 When he got Niffty out of that toilet he probably waited until the bubbles almost stopped. He's a little bit of an asshole.

📻 Actively pranks Husk. Someone save the cat-man...

- Switches his alcohol with non-alcoholic and sees how long it takes him to realize or get drunk even though he's not.

- Plays poker against him but will actively cheat to make sure he wins 100% of the time.

- Puts cucumbers down to scare the shit out of him.

📻 Since he is a deer demon (a Stag at that) he is VERY territorial, especially of the Hotel. This is HIS home. Will never admit it though.

📻 ✨Sweet Southern Boy✨ (Not really a HC I just wanted to say that, nor is he really sweet)

📻 He hides his accent. It will come out though when he is extremely extremely angry or when he is extremely relaxed.

- Plationic: Um... He's your best friend, right? Why are you giving attention to others when he is RIGHT THERE. Oh? They can do that, well he can do it ten times better. Watch what else he can do! Yeah, he's the coolest, right?

- Romantically: Time to butt heads and flex every possible way. Will RUIN the person's confidence, the psychological warfare begins. He is the better one and he must make it known. If they start flirting with you, blood will be spilled.

📻 When people try and lecture him it goes in one ear and out the other.

📻 His hair tufts are his ears, that may actually be canon, not sure.

- If he gets comfortable enough and you scratch behind they he MELTS. It scared him at first but once he first fell asleep it was nice.

📻 Will tell you about his mother constantly. Bases a lot of his morals and being a gentleman off how his mother taught him and treats women like ✨queens✨

📻 I HC one of his biggest problems with Lucifer and why they had tha number was because he was absent in Charlie's life so much and since his dad left him and his mother he believes absent fathers are the worst. He believes you have an obligation AS A FATHER to be the best you can be and raise your child.

- Absent father? Will bully so hard. He hates them to a fault, even if it wasn't their fault. He refuses to take criticism on it and its one of the things he is most stubborn about. Man got some daddy issues he doesn't want to talk about.

A light knock on the door frame caused Leo’s head to twitch up from his videos, a large smile flashing his teeth when he spotted Carol at the door. “Mom!” he chirped, and started squirming to get up to greet her.

“Hey, honey. How’s two of my favorite boys doing?” Carol laughed, quickly heading to the bedside so Leo didn’t have to get off it, and could just kneel and hug her.

“Good!” Leo chimed, rubbing his cheek against Carol’s shoulder and humming lightly when she gave him a firm hug back. “Well, y’know, considering everything else that’s happened. Being sick probably really sucks, and having a banged up ankle also sucks. But it’s cozy here, and we get to relax. Dee’s been sleeping a lot, I’ll wake him up soon for dinner, but I dunno if we’ll get him to eat anything major. He’s kind of picky sometimes.”

Carol could only chuckle lightly as Leo rambled on without letting go of her. He always did talk a lot, but he didn’t usually cling to her this much. Which just confirmed her suspicions from what she’d heard from the others. “Uh huh. So if everything is as expected for you, then what’s got you concerned?” she prodded, absently rubbing Leo’s back and noting the slight tense in his frame at the question.

“Concerned? Me? Nahhhh,” Leo brushed off, keeping his head where it was, facing away from her. “If anything I’m just antsy. Been cooped up in here for a few hours, you know? About ready to get up and move.”

Carol could only give a mildly questioning hum at the response, raising her brow, knowing he was avoiding so many things with her right then. “Hmmmm. So that’s why you’re clinging to me and deliberately hiding your face in my shoulder?” She felt Leo’s cheek shift as his smile momentarily fell before he put it back.

“No- It’s because your shirt is really soft. It just feels great at the moment,” Leo lied, rubbing his cheek again to try and prove a point.

Carol knew he was lying even without knowing him now. She was still wearing the scrubs from work, and those were not soft at all. But she didn’t call him out on it. “Oh? Well, come a lil closer then, honey. How about I just…” she prodded, leaning forward to push Leo back a little so she could scoot onto the bed with them. Then she expertly hooked his knees towards her, scooting him up onto her lap in a ball and wrapping her arms fully around him in a cradle. Leo sputtered in giggles and laughs, but the squirms were both to get comfortable and in slight protest. Carol giggled along with him, then once he was settled she started softly humming a nonsense song while slightly rocking back and forth. If it really was nothing then she anticipated Leo would snuggle for a moment, and then squirm again to be let go. But if it wasn’t nothing….

As Carol expected, instead of getting built up energy from being kept in a ball, Leo started to sag into her and his nose found it’s way into her shoulder again as his shoulders shook. “............at's not fair…….,” Leo eventually mumbled pathetically. “Wasn’t supposed to cry on you too.”

The half admittance of defeat just made Carol give a soft chuckle, squishing her cheek affectionately against Leo’s head. “I’ve learned some tricks,” she consoled, a comforting hand rubbing wide paths on his back. “Wanna tell me what’s wrong now?”

“Mhhh….,” Leo hummed back, seemingly wanting to answer, and yet finding it hard to say. Carol was quietly patient though, and it was enough to motivate him to start talking. “I just… It’s stupid really…… I just can’t get what Casey said out of my head,” he admitted, finally putting it out in the open, and prefacing it with preparation to be told he didn’t need to worry. “That every decision I make could cost someone their life. And then…. All of this happened. And now I have to take care of Donnie. And I’ve done it so many times before. But… this time…. I’m just scared. You know?”

“Yeah, I know exactly how that feels,” Carol agreed. She’d worked as a nurse, and a neurologist for so long now. It was hard not to be worried that she’d make the wrong decision. But there was one thing she always had to remember, that might help Leo now. “But you have to also remember that your decisions could be the one thing that saves someone’s life. So you shouldn’t be scared to act based on what you know. And you, my boy, are brilliant. And I’m so proud of you.” She couldn’t help herself, and reached over to give Leo’s cheek a light pinch before giving him a big kiss on the top of the head.

Leo had gone quiet, but Carol could feel the tension slowly start to seep out of his frame. The grip on her shirt loosened as the realization sank in. “.... Yeah…” he breathed, her words playing in his head again. “Yeah! You’re right!” he eventually chirped, pushing up to look at her fully before flinging his arms around her shoulders. “Thanks Mom! You’re awesome!”

Carol could only laugh and return the hug once again, glad to see that his doubts had been quick to remedy this time.

Kaycee shook her head, arms crossed defiantly in front of her chest. “You know, when they said doctors make the worst patients, you were exactly who they had in mind.”

“But I’m not....”

Kaycee smiled smugly when he couldn’t complete his sentence. Sneezing once, then twice... they just kept coming. Walking toward him with a box of tissues, she teased.

“Yep. You’re the picture of health."

“This is ridiculous,” he complained, crawling back into bed. “I never get sick!”

“Honey, everyone gets sick sometimes. Now, you’re staying home and getting some rest today! Trust me, Edenbrook will still be standing when you return.”

“Yeah, and I can work on cases from home.”

“Really?” she asked. “Do I need to call Tobias and tell him I’m taking the day off, too... to babysit?”

Was merely just so flabbergasting that he spent like two weeks STILL NOT SLEEPING just to comprehend that he was SUPPOSED to be sleeping

You were bashing your head against the wall

Crying, sobbing, throwing up

regardless after a while he finally started falling asleep with you!

Why? well he loves you

unfortunately for him

mobile + sleep deprived so this is going to be All Over The Place but i'll list some thoughts in bullet points:

my anger isn't towards will being buff, my anger is over the fact that fandom has used noah schnapp's body type as a reason to mischaracterize will into someone that he isn't

finn has long hair and he's very skinny so he gets feminized by fandom a lot which bleeds into how fandom interacts with the character that he plays despite mike not having majority/majorly feminine traits

meanwhile noah grows up, goes through puberty, and gains a bit of muscle and suddenly will (in fandom's eyes) goes from being a sensitive, shy, sassy, and sweet kid to this macho guy that is super confident, super physically strong and athletic, and doesn't need to be saved or helped by anyone, and that literally sweeps people off their feet etc. like i'm sorry to tell you this but will is a damsel in distress lol. a HUUUUUUGE part of his character is that he was clocked way way way early as a young kid for being gay and that's why he got bullied. kids make fun of his clothes, they laugh at him, his father calls him slurs, teenagers and adults alike talk about him and his sexuality in a derogatory fashion, he gets called artistic and sensitive which in that era is the nice way of saying gay, etc etc. like. will turns into a scared hamster, he has the freeze response, he fights for his life but ultimately needs to accept help from others to save him, its about loving and being loved and allowing them to save you because there's nothing wrong with needing help, etc etc. like. will is canonically more effeminate than mike and yet bc finn is skinny with long hair and noah is bigger now people flip it around and that's just not who those characters are lol. they're CHARACTERS they're not finn and noah... and even then, noahs the one always wearing pink and wearing purses and who gets his (everything, really, but specifically) his sexuality picked the fuck apart bc of the way that he acts and so on and so forth. but, what...? he gets a couple of muscles and suddenly will is some macho hypermasc dude? why, because only skinny men can be seen as effeminate and sweet and sensitive and so on? since when is a body type a personality. its just so transparent that it's playing into the tiny subby girlboy x big buff hypermasc dom boy mlm stereotype and i Hate it.

another thing is that mike is always the one putting in the physical work, he jumps in without complaining, he helps carry people, he Knows How To Do Things etc etc while will is always the one off to the side letting everyone else work and when he Does do work it's the absolute bare minimum doing the easy part while sobbing and sighing and so on but... wait, noah has muscles so NAHHHH lets reverse it actually and make will the strong one and mike the weakling? why lol. what reason is there for this shift that came ONLY after noah's body changed.

mike is the knight in shining armor, he's the one that saves the damsel, he's the one that comes up with the plan and sees it through, he's the one trying his best even if he isn't always strong enough, he's the one protecting will with his body, he's the one hauling him up and moving him around, he's the one throwing hands IMMEDIATELY and throwing himself into the mix without hesitation, etc etc etc, meanwhile will is literally physically clinging to him, cowering behind him, looking to him to save him, and hyperventilating screaming crying whenever there's danger, and yet.... again..... after noah became no longer scrawny.... suddenly the roles in fanon got switched around? will literally draws mike as the guy standing in front of him, his knight in shining armor that he says has saved him in so many ways... and yet fandom wants to disregard that? just bc finn is skinny doesn't mean that mike isn't who he is. it doesn't mean that mike isn't capable and that he isn't the hero here. They Are Literally Characters they are not real they are not finn and noah they are CHARACTERS

they cast someone that was two years younger than everyone else with the babiest of babie faces for will because they wanted him to look a certain way and then when noah grew up they said they could either hide it or lean into it and guess what they did. they tried to hide it lmao. they put him in long sleeve shirts and baggy clothes (which laughably just made him look bigger lmao) and even asked noah to speak in a higher pitch. because guess what!!! noah is already not a Hypermasc Bodybuilder Worlds Strongest Man kind of guy, but will especially is NOT that. so why act like he is? will is Supposed to be the cute runt he represents so many things and included in that is innocence. everyone wants and has to protect him bc even though he's strong he still needs help. he cannot do this alone. the imagery of him being a speck compared to the mind flayer, a speck in the big big quarry, smaller than the rest of the party so much that he could literally disappear behind them, etc etc are all intentional.

like it just upsets me that noah gaining some muscle and growing taller made everyone turn will into someone that he isn't... there is nothing wrong with him being the way that he is and your body type does not change your entire fucking personality or life history....

I can't sleep for nth time and I have the most HORRENDOUS Neuvillette brainrot. So hear we go

(You know that verse in Promise by Laufey that goes: "It hurts to be something, it's worse to be nothing with you". Yeah this is going the angst direction if u can't tell I'm so sorry)

Neuvillette with a lover with a mortal lifespan who gets reincarnated over and over. He used to always be successful in finding you, always able to return you to his embrace and love you until it's time to let go all over again. He's gotten used to having you, even if it was different versions of the first you.

But then one time he was just too late. Then you were in the arms of another person, someone else who got to experience for themselves the undying warmth and the love you could possibly give.

So he watches as you spent this one lifetime away from him. Then the next. Then another.

All he can do was watch as you slipped further and further away from him, until he could no longer find you in the crowd, the familiar tug in his heart gone when he saw another incarnation of you wondering around the streets of Fontaine. You became a stranger to him all over again.

"There is nothing wrong with me at all! No one or thing is causing me to act like this!" Vinny responded as tears welled in his eyes. "Then what is?! You're the one that told me to open up about things, why don't you do it!?" The oni responded desperate for an answer.

"Not everyone opens up as easy as that not everyone really has a problem this is just how they are sometimes!" Vinny exclaimed, "Just because I don't tell you every single detail in my life doesn't mean anything has happened!" he added, Garmadon tensed up hearing that.

"I'm just worried about you, you were in the bathroom for a whole hour doing who knows what! Can you really blame me for worrying and thinking that you done this to yourself!" The oni yelled back. "I don't want hi-" Vinny was going to mention something Enji said but instantly stopped himself. "What are you so afraid of, why won't you tell me?!" Garmadon responded out.

"Stop with the questions...." Vinny said knowing very well if he said anything else he was gonna out himself about Enji. "Why should I?! I'm just worried for you and your health! Tell me, is this my fault!? Did I make you do this to yourself?!" The oni yelled out still presuming Vinny hurt himself.

The oni asked again, causing the cameraman to tense up, "That's not what I meant...." Vinny responded as he began thinking of a lie. "Yes it is! You clearly are hiding more than that from me because someone wants to hurt me!" Garmadon said.

"Maybe I am keeping secrets! But it has nothing to do with you other than you being threatened!" Vinny shouted angrily, he wasn't in a mood today running on 2 hours of sleep and having a dickhead torment him aka Enji was hell. "Who is even doing this to you!? You were perfectly fine before we came here!" The oni replied.

"I don't know! This guy comes ou-" Vinny was going to say something but he looked at Garmadon, Enji was standing behind him with a finger on his lips. The cameraman instantly shut up, "I...I just need some space..." Vinny said as he looked away, was Enji just everywhere was here there all the time and he didn't know.
