Oh nothing, I'm just here thinking about Dialuci's first meeting and how Lucifer kept lying about the smallest things such as not liking the RAD uniform Diavolo gave him or knowing he had to give a speech to the citizens of the Devildom when Diavolo, having the power to tell the truth from the lie, knew exactly each time he was lying and only pretended to believe him.

Had this thought and thought you might understand it. I know Poe Dameron is played by Oscar Isaac, but when I see Poe, I don't see Oscar, I just see Poe. Like, they look the same, but also they don't. I see Poe as his own separate person.
Or, I could just be crazy.....
Nope, nope you're definitely not crazy, I talk about this all the time with my friends. Oscar is one of those rare actors that just kind of disappears into his roles — and no two characters even physically look the same, and it's not just because of hair or stubble ratio or whatever, there's just something different about him every time.
It really properly struck me last year (though I noticed while working through his filmography in 2021 that I also never thought about Poe watching any of his other movies) when I happened to have, I think, a Marc header on my blog and then one afternoon my top post was a gifset of Poe — and the difference was so staggering i sat there and stared between the two for a long time because even though i know 100% it's the same actor, im like. that's two entirely different people who just kind of look alike.
I also like tossing Santiago out as an example for this because man:
it blows my goddamned mind that Triple Frontier came out the same year as the Rise of Skywalker, because again, that is NOT the same man. But yet also it is!!!! This man is Talented, goddamn.

Karuta is a card-matching game played with a deck that is split between two types of cards. The first half, yomifuda ("reading cards"), often feature poems or proverbs, and the second half, torifuda, ("grabbing cards") feature a matching illustration, or the final lines/words of the text on the yomifuda. To play, reading cards are randomly drawn and read aloud by a designated reader/referee, and players try to find the matching card before their opponent does.

The Hometown events are back to serve.
Ok so the other day I was thinking about SSRs and Vil's unexpected Scalding Sands card
And I told my sister "wow, I hope they do this with the other Hometown events"
Then today she slaps me with this
WHY DO ALL OF HIS CARDS LOOK SO GOOD!?
Anyway, this confirms we are getting an alternate card for each hometown event.
Now the question is who gets the honor?
So we have Tamashina Mina and Rabbit Fest, Leona and Deuce’s hometowns. There's a chance Portfest and Lost in the Book with Stitch fall under the sets since they have everyone who wasn't in a hometown event, but I've been holding out hope they don't because that means more hometown events (still dreaming of that Coral Sea event and higher level Jack Card, take us to his hometown!)
Ok so interestingly, Vil and Jamil only had the one event SSR before. Let me pull up my references:
Gosh, I apologize for the quality. I used my pictures from this post.
Anyway, so as we can see a lot of people only have the one card. I'm not sure how the Book 7 cards (Sebek's new one slays so hard omg) would adjust priority for getting a new card (if there is priority). Let's assume 1 SSR people are priority, ignoring how many Rs or SRs they have. That gives us Cater, Trey, Jack, Jade, Epel, Rook, Malleus, and Silver. Cater and Jade are most overdue, but Jack has been getting the short end of the stick and Poster Boy Malleus is dying out here. Rook is next in line after Cater and Jade. Jamil proves that event SSR can get another, so Epel still has a shot. Trey has also been lacking and I would love another Silver SSR, since my boy is also lacking and is dying in Book 7.
So the question I want to ask you guys is: Who gets it?
And also who do you want to see in the outfits? Rabbit Fest is going to be a fun one.
