I'm not sure if I ever posted this, but if not: I'm ofishially fishless

My remaining fish went to new homes with local keepers who had decent-sized fish rooms and experience. My betta, pearl, went to a little girl whose puffer recently passed away (her dad keeps and breeds fish). The CPDs, cherry shrimp, and snails went to another keeper who was also into nano fish! Especially lots-of-tiny-fish-in-a-big-tank :) he also dedicates his fridays to water changes since he has them off! His wife came too, shes got some goldfish and they enable each other lmao (goals tho tbh)

I held onto my fish for a LONG time but I feel like this was 110% the right decision. I wasnt giving my tanks the time or attention they required and I wasnt enjoying my fish any more either because of how much time I spend at school, work, errands, etc. I dont have much time left for water changes (which are complicated by my apartments water issues e.e)

I'll definitely get back into fish keeping in the future♡ but for now I'm taking a break from my personal hobby. But that just means I get to enjoy all of your fishes in the mean time!

Purple, I think most care groups aren’t doing enough, but you’re absolutely right on the ‘money’ with the rest of your comment. It does seem rather fishy that someone who stands to financial gain from goldfish abuse would be the biggest supporter of goldfish abuse.
