Vane and Eleanor for 001? :)

when I started shipping it if I did: since they punched each other in the face ;)  then 103 solidified it. That moment they have in the meeting and then that tender moment after one of the best sex scenes. Yep, sealed the deal. Like even back in 101 that scene they had at the brothel and after, their chemistry was amazing. Always has been. 

my thoughts: endgame. who ever thinks otherwise is in serious denial. and it’s going to end badly for both of them, but boy are we going to love getting there in the first place. they’ll never quit loving each other or trying to kill each other. it’s an impossible emotional state that they have to deal with lol. 

What makes me happy about them: the enigma that is their relationship, like how did they even end up together in the past? There is just so much history. The comfort and ease with with they deal with each other, there’s just so much familiarity. Their hateful arguments, then either of them doing the teeniest tiniest charming thing and they’re back together again, like it literally doesn’t take much tbh. They’re just waiting to either clash or mend everything in one long steamy sex session. The way they constantly challenge each other, have such different ideologies but underneath all that, there’s a deep love and understanding, even respect for standing their ground. Also, the tender moments kill me every damn time. Every time they get back together, it’s like another layer of their connection is being explored, it doesn’t feel repetitive at all, but rather fascinating. Every time tests their loyalties and how far they’re willing to go. There’s always this sense of hope for them to be something even more than what they already are, and that’s very attractive to me in a pairing. That no matter what they do to each other, what they share and how they feel will just never go away. And it results in an intense, fierce hate but also an equally strong love and connection. Nobody is harder on them than they are on each other. They’re constantly testing the ground each time and reestablishing their bond on another level. ITS BEAUTIFUL AND INTRIGUING AND I’M HOOKED. 

What makes me sad about them: they’re both really tragic characters and I know that neither is going to get a happy ending. but it’s the journey that counts, right? :D

things done in fanfic that annoys me: if the dialogue is off and not canon compliant. 

things I look for in fanfic: that it exists, that is enough for me to read it :)

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: nobody else can handle it 

My happily ever after for them: they are, for once, working together for a common goal and kicking ass, because they would be such a great power couple. Also, them stashing some of that gold and running off to live somewhere together. A vaneeleanor baby would be nice too. But if we’re being real, the best happy ending for these two would be them dying side by side at the gallows, together. Like i said, i don’t see a happy ending “ending”, but we’ll get some great stuff on our way to it, like the ride is going to be shit crazy and beaaautifulllll.

Just wanted to say that what you did, trying to organise the hiatus A.W's was a really lovely, generous thing for the Black Sails fandom. You deserve non of the crap its gotten, it's completely twisted and frankly it's fucking ridiculous. THANK YOU for trying to organise it, I am very much looking forward to enjoying all of the weeks
