Shuriki, waking up to see the situation: *yawns* How long was I out? Shuriki, seeing the broken TV: OH GOSH NOT AGAIN! ESTEBAN, I TOLD YOU NOT TO! Esteban: You were asleep! And I always take a window of opportunity when I see it! Dona Paloma and Victor, in unison: But you broke the- Esteban: My work here is done. If anyone asks, I was never here. *dashes out of the living room*

Francisco: What if we were stranded on a desert island? Who would you eat? Naomi: Mateo. Francisco: So fast? Wh-what about me? I would eat you! Naomi: That’s very nice, I guess. Francisco: Why wouldn’t you eat me? I’m your best friend. Naomi: Look, if other people are having some, I’ll try you.

Elena: So, I've been thinking Isabel- Isabel: That's dangerous.

Mateo, acting tough: You guys don't want to mess with me. Gabe: Yeah, Mateo will straight up cry in public. Don't try him. Mateo: Exactly, I will straight up- Mateo: Mateo, tearing up: Gabe, why would you say that?!

Shuriki: Elena is okay. Armando: She's okay? She said she was going to break my legs! And don't tell me she didn't mean it, okay?! 'Cause she gave me the mackerel eyes, she meant it! Shuriki: Armando, Elena threatened me. She threatens Carla every day. She probably threatened Luisa before breakfast this morning. It's what she does. Grow a pair.

Francisco: Hey, wanna hear a funny joke? Isabel: I only like dark humor. Francisco, turning the lights off: What do you call a fake noodle? Isabel: Francisco: An IMPASTA!

Shuriki: I'm not doing too well. Isabel: What's wrong? Shuriki: I have this headache that comes and goes. *Mateo enters the room* Shuriki: There it is again.

Carla: So, you lied to me? Fiero: That depends on how you define lying. Carla: Well, I define it as not telling the truth. How do you define it? Fiero: Um, reclining your body in a horizontal position?

Naomi: Esteban, don’t go picking a fight with Gabe. Don’t forget, he's powerful, he could make life difficult for you. Esteban: Wow, I wonder what it'd be like to have a difficult life.

Isabel: I drink to forget but I always remember. Carla: You're drinking orange juice.

Esteban: Oh no! I’m doomed! Isabel: Seriously? All you have to do is not insult Dona Paloma at her own memorial service. Esteban: Exactly! It’s impossible!

heck yeah I do 😎 and yes they change all the time lmao.

(second anon: I'm assuming you mean for EoA - you didn't actually specify, but that *is* kinda my brand of answered asks, so if you meant something different you'll have to let me know)

I don't know if I've actually talked about this in a post before, but it's actually very rare for me to have "true" headcanons in the sense that I treat them as "canon" in my head, for sexuality or gender or anything else. I'm prone to rotate ideas around at a moment's notice if I want to explore something else. I like alternate interpretations, y'know? That said, I do still have some common patterns that I tend to fall back on, and some of these are definitely more concrete than others:

Main Cast (in no particular order):

Gabe: bisexual, with a tilt toward women. He kiiinda knew he liked guys as well when he was younger, but sort of put it on a back burner until he joined the guard and very abruptly found himself having to confront it. Pretty casually out to most everyone, except for his parents. (Blanca knows - she’s also bi. Roberto hasn’t figured it out yet, though post-Olaball he’d be very supportive, if a bit confused, if he were to find out.) He's a little in love with all of his best friends.

Naomi: also bi, also with a tilt toward women. she thought she was gay when she was younger and initially came out to her parents as such, and then again later when she realized she was actually bi. the first time was very carefully planned out and rehearsed and maybe a little defensive, which it didn't need to be - she hadn't been subtle, and her folks had already figured. The second time was a blunt and casual "so turns out - 'm bi" through a mouthful of eggs at breakfast one morning. She and Gabe joke about having very similar taste.

Elena: aspec, and that’s about how much I can narrow it down, because the particular variety of aspec I hc her as changes pretty much daily, if not more often. The two I toggle between the most often though are demi-pan (romantic & sexual) and aroace. she's not especially tethered to her gender and wobbles along a line between demigirl and agender, but still generally uses feminine terms for herself - sister/granddaughter/prima and princess/queen are titles, not genders. despite being aspec (or perhaps because of it), she always ends up being the person her friends go to for dating advice.

Mateo: a roulette wheel full of question marks, and I don’t mean that I haven’t thought about it; I mean that I’ve thought about it a lot and I still have no idea, and honestly I don’t think Mateo does either. I think he thinks he’s straight. I doubt that he is, although I do have transhet Mateo on the aforementioned roulette wheel, so I haven't ruled it out entirely. I've got his gender on rotation as well - my most common take is "his gender is Wizard", because let's face it, that's a more significant part of his identity than anything else ever will be.

Isa: a true scientist at heart, she feels the need to both A: experiment, and B: categorize. she does a lot of research into microlabels and neogenders and rotates through several, taking notes on how she feels about each one and trying to codify the distinctions between how she feels about different people so that she can get the exact precise label to describe herself. Elena initially assumes Isa is doing it out of anxiety, but the specificity is part of the fun for her. I'm not sure what she settles on, if she ever does, but whatever she's into includes girls.

Esteban: gay and/or aspec. Definitely had a thing with Victor when he was younger. Definitely ended badly. The two of them were just getting on speaking terms again when they met Shuriki, and, uh, we all know how that one ended.

Francisco & Luisa: bi and closeted & the ultimate straight ally, respectively. They're the Cool Grandparents when it comes to their grandkids' and their friends' identities. Raúl's side of the family was a bit more traditional than them back in the day, but Francisco and Luisa's own marriage was considered "non-traditional" once since Francisco married outside of nobility, so they're very open to a lot of very queer stuff just on principle.

Assorted extras/recurring characters that I have opinions on:

Victor: very bi, with historically very terrible taste. Also as the only non-acespec of the pre-Shuriki amigos, he was the resident member of the friend group that was always like "isn't so-and-so the hottest person ever?" and all his asexual friends were just like "Victor this is just some guy. what."

Carla: aromantic allosexual - she treads a line between wanting a romance and feeling uncomfortable with the concept. she likes it in theory and used to fantasize about getting swept away by a prince when she was little, but realized as she got older that that was more about the comfort and stability than anything else, since when she was actually being presented with romance she was feeling uneasy (the sheer vibes from her little grimace when Elena is telling the romantic sunflower festival story, and from how quickly she jumps from the novelty of her parents being back together to thinking they're being gross...)

Marisa & Marzel: listen.... if you line up Elena, Marisa, and Marzel in Song of the Sirenas, their outfits make the bi flag.... I’m just saying.... that said! they'd be bi/pan by human standards, but sirenas don't exactly operate on the human gender binary and are generally much more fluid with their gender identities than humans, and by extension, with their sexualities. there are chemical signals in their tails that are visible to other sirenas (and possibly under UV light? undecided if this is a science thing or a magic thing) that change with their current gender to communicate information about it to others.

Feli: heteroromantic asexual. she thought she might be gay when she was younger since she knew she wasn't quite into guys the same way her straight peers were, and pre-Shuriki, she and Elena briefly experimented with a romantic relationship. It didn't work out, for obvious reasons, but ended very amicably, and Feli eventually figured out what her deal was. Ricardo was straight, but respected Feli's boundaries, and her asexuality was a big part as to why the two never had kids.

Val: I waffle between bi and lesbian for her, specifically. she tends to process her attraction as frustration, of the "get out of my school" variety. she likes someone? okay, so she's gotta be better than them- She mellows out with age and with a more robust friend group.

Alonso: I generally hc him as bi as well but honestly I do kinda think it'd be hilarious if he was the royal friends' Token Straight. He took his lessons about honesty from A Lava Story to heart, but it does take him a bit to realize that what he would consider impressive might not be to someone else.

Chloe: bisexual, with a preference for men. she tends to be very over-eager in romantic relationships the same way she is with friendships, and needs someone that is both very clear about defining their boundaries, and also very clear about confirming hers.

Rebeca: pansexual. she often gets very anxious before dates as her perfectionism starts to get the better of her, especially for big events like holidays or anniversaries.

Tomiko: oh, well she's just a massive lesbian, isn't she? she's got a pen-pal girlfriend at Cariza's science academy that she met when Isa and Cat decided they needed more hands on deploying the gondola project. Elena is very much her and her girlfriend's celebrity crush.

Vee: she's a demiromantic lesbian with a big 'ol childhood infatuation with Naomi that she'd been hanging onto for years. She fully expected to show up in Avalor and completely sweep Naomi off her feet, sail off with her into the sunset, all that jazz, which didn't quite go as planned. Having seen how Naomi changed over the years, she was finally able to let go and move on to seeking a different partner.

The Royal Guard: Rico is gay and Miguel is bi. In a sort of inverse situation to Gabe's, Antonia used to think she was bi and then after joining the guard and being around men far more frequently than she had been she was kinda like, "hm. maybe not," and now identifies as a lesbian.

Ixlan: nonbinary and sapphic. they mostly use gender-neutral language to refer to themself, but typically won't correct people on using gendered language unless they're directly asked. It's not that big of a deal to them to be considered one gender or another or multiple, they just won't talk about themself that way. There's a specific word in Maruvian for the gender they consider themself, but it doesn't really translate into modern Avaloran.

Rafa: oh, the possibilities! I like the idea of aroace Rafa, who never wanted a partner but did want a kid and so recruited a friend in town to help (or else just dug around in the basement for stuff to make a Potion of Spawn Child); I like the idea of lesbian Rafa, who figured that out from the tryst that resulted in Mateo and didn't exactly have time to get into a new dating pool before she had a kid to take care of and is getting to start fresh and really embrace her identity now that he's moved out; I like the idea of mspec Rafa and the wide range of possible backstories and post-canon stories it affords her; I just like the idea of Rafa lmao

Julio & Carmen: the more business-minded and methodical Julio is pansexual, while the more artistic and outspoken Carmen is asexual.

Doña Paloma: aroallo, like Carla, but she's had a few more decades to sort herself out and find her sweet spot as far as relationships go. she likes a good time but her heart will always belong to her business.

Antonio Agama: despite being something of an idealized, masculine sex symbol by some Avalorans, he's actually asexual. while he likes the adventuring in its own right, it was also always a convenient excuse to not have to spend the night with one of his admirers. "ah, but I can't resist the call of adventure! you'd only miss me in the morning - it's not meant to be, señorita." ...also he has an unrequited crush on Mendoza, who mostly finds him annoying.

why yes, yes i do! :)

my personal headcanons for the amigos are a bit less common than what you’d usually see around here lol, but that’s alright! everyone’s headcanons for the sexuality, gender identity, etc of their favorite characters are totally valid!! anyways, on to the headcanons!

elena - not to uh, self project or anything, but i headcanon elena as bi! i feel like she doesn’t realize it right away, but one day it just hits her like, “hey, i like girls too!” and the rest was history. of course, her family and friends are super supportive, and i’m sure the kingdom would be too.

naomi - i’ve seen naomi most commonly headcanoned as bi, and elena as lesbian, but this is what i mean by saying my headcanons are less common, bc i think the opposite! i’ve headcanoned naomi as lesbian since even before all the gabeomi scenes in s3, so we’ll just ignore canon at the moment lol. but yeah, i say that naomi finds herself a beautiful girlfriend at the port, and they sail away together to live the life of their dreams. but of course, they always come back, naomi’s got work to do as the chancellor! (also speaking of naomi..look at my gf and i’s matching pride icons! aren’t they cute? :) )

mateo - does this picture not answer your question

no straight man would ever sit like that, just saying. mateo stans don’t attack me but i headcanon mateo as gay lol! but we love that for him and he has the most supportive friend group and mamí who will always be there to support him!!

gabe - introducing the token straight! lmaoo idk if my man is like *totally* straight in this friend group, but he identifies as such. and of course, he’s their biggest ally (especially elena’s :) ) and loves his friends so much :)

other headcanons - i headcanon chloe as pan, i feel like ixlan gives me non binary vibes? antonia, marisa and rebecca..i don’t have sexualities down for them yet but they aren’t straight lol, wlw definitely though!

we see lucia call raul “cariño” in día de las madres so i imagine she called him that a lot and elena picked it up

mateo loves it he’s a sucker for pet names

mateo loses stuff all the time and elena always knows where it is

“i swear i just had my tamborita” “it’s on the desk” “hey while we’re at it have you seen my-” “on that small table in your workshop”

this is basically canon but they’re very physically affectionate in public, not in an overtly gross all over each other way but they’re always touching

sometimes elena will just glance at him and her dress will go pink and she gets all embarrassed but he loves it so much it’s a constant reminder of how much she loves him

mateo had a whole proposal planned out with a speech and everything but then one night they were both really sleep deprived and he just said “hey we should get married” and that’s how they got engaged

at their wedding, mateo had to do a magic-proofing spell on her dress halfway through the ceremony because her dress kept flickering between pink and yellow and it was hurting peoples eyes

yes only one specific dress changed colours in the show probably because it was the dress she was wearing when she fell into takaína but i don’t care

gabe was mateos best man, esteban, armando, and alonso were his groomsmen (i hc that after alonso learned his lesson, he and the main 4 became good friends especially since cordoba is so close by)

luisa was elena’s matron of honour, and her bridesmaids were naomi, isa, and sofia

it was a catholic wedding and they keep the candle on a shelf above their bed, mateo wanted to enchant it so it would never burn out but elena thought it was better left alone

this one isn’t an eleteo hc but i like the idea of mateo and cedric being good friends and swapping spells n shit because the magic used in the two shows are so different

ok going on a tangent but despite tamboritas being used in every single kingdom that’s shown in eoa, we never see one in stf. has cedric ever even heard of one? and the spells that mateo uses are very different than the ones cedric uses, i think it’s pretty cool how two different spells can achieve the exact same effect (such as levitation)

they’re both pretty good cooks, but terrible bakers. mateo grew up helping rafa in the kitchen so he knows his way around but she doesn’t bake much so neither does he

again not eleteo but the only one of the 4 that can bake is naomi, she’s a natural. everyone finds it hilarious that the bakers son sucks hard at it but his ship captain wife is amazing

i’m very passionate about baking it’s kinda my thing i actually just finished making a cheesecake and honestly it’s very impressive to me that gabe grew up in a bakery and sucks ass at baking because as long as you follow the recipe you should be able to make most basic things

anyways. mateo grows his hair out to about his shoulders and elena loves to braid it for him to get it out of his face

30+ Ship/Character Headcanons for Pride: Elena of Avalor Edition

Pride 2021, baby! Took me a whole year to get all my headcanons lined up for my dear old friend of a show, but here they are. This was a very formative show for me so everyone is bi like me, lol.

(Last year’s Star Wars edition)

Elena

Elena is panromantic asexual and nonbinary, and uses she/they pronouns.

They are 100% oblivious to people being attracted to them, and when she does notice, addressing that falls pretty low on her priority list compared to work or family or friends.

For Elena gender is just sort of a thing she has, like a dress. They can be a girl or not be a girl depending on the feeling, but they’re still them.

They settle into a polyam relationship with Mateo, Gabe, and Naomi not too long after coronation, and surprisingly little changes.

Isabel

Isabel finds herself the hardest thing to label, but she eventually settles on pan or queer.

She dates Ari, Caterina, and Amber at various points as a teenager, but never gets into the more direct romance.

As an adult, Isabel is very career-focused and spends a lot of time traveling and researching. She never gets a long-term partner, but does adopt kids.

All her friends are some variety of queer as well: Cristina is pan, Amara and Quique are bi, Olivia is aro-ace.

Flores Family

Esteban is bi and aromantic or grey-romantic.

He never really thought about dating as a kid. Because Elena was similar, he just assumed it was an adults thing until Victor awkwardly tried asking about crushes one time.

He prides himself on being very suave and charming, even flirtatious in situations, but not with any intent, just to make a good impression and get people to do things.

Francisco is bi, but it wasn’t really talked about in his day so he’s only partially aware of it. Luisa is straight but enthusiastically supportive.

The Amigos

Mateo, Gabe, and Naomi are all bi. They handle this very differently.

Mateo only figured it out recently, when he was trying to figure out why he always felt like showing off around Gabe.

He’s a bit of a disaster around people he likes, so he mostly tries not to think about it. This works out well, since he’s naturally very sincere and thoughtful when not flustered.

Gabe's known since he was a kid. He wound up with three awesome, attractive friends, and he’s having a great time.

He has a femme bi older sister, Juliana (my OC whom I will talk more about later) whose support helped him embrace his identity, as well as his dreams of becoming a royal guard, from a young age.

Naomi has switched between the labels bi and lesbian a lot. She got play-married to Vee when they were kids, and it’s a common inside joke between them.

In a modern AU, she’d be a dyed-hair-and-flannel gay, and run a moderately popular youtube channel about sailing and boat facts.

Other Royals

Marisa is pan, Marzel is bi and trans. They’re actually pretty good at wingmanning for each other but in the most annoying way possible.

Valentina is a lesbian, Alonso is bi. Their kingdoms are close allies and they’re the same age, so they’ve been friends since childhood.

Chloe is a bi disaster, which she got from Abigail. Chloe’s other mom, Martha, is the Norberg ambassador to Satu and so is away from home a lot.

Rebeca is bi and ace. She has her own friend group in Galonia who are all at least a little in love with her, just like Elena does.

Supporting Cast

Skylar is gay, Luna is bi. They grew up together and came to Avalor in the same Guardian training group. They both kinda had a thing for Cruz, up until the part where he was evil.

Victor is bi. He has bad taste and is by this point well aware of that. He definitely had a crush on Esteban as a teen, and he and Felicia commiserated over being friends with two hot royal cousins.

Carla is bi. She has a thing for jocks, but really just wants someone she can relate to and confide in, and possibly nerd out over magic with.

After the series, Victor and Carla open a small grocery store and apothecary in the Via Mercado, getting the quiet, stable life they always wanted.

Spirit guides have no innate concept of gender, though they do take on some aspects of the humans they interact with the most. Zuzo has typically identified as masculine for the past several decades, but that’s always subject to change.

Recurring Characters

Rafa is trans, and came out a year or so before Shuriki’s invasion. And of course any master wizard worth their salt knows potions of trans your gender.

Ixlan is a nonbinary lesbian. They use the Maruvian equivalent of they/them, or just they/them for translation convenience.

Antonia is bi. She’s about 24 at the end of the series, and she eventually works her way up to Captain of the Royal Guard. She learns Maruvian so she can talk to Ixlan in her native language.

Tomiko is a lesbian. After college she travels and researches a lot, sometimes with Isabel, and eventually becomes a professor at the Avalor Science Academy.

How did Gabe come out to his parents?

Thank you so much for the asks!!

What comes to Gabe (Bisexual (though, for some reason, I also can see him as Biromantic Asexual. Anyway, the thing I know for sure he's bi)), I believe he had a group of friends when he was a teenager and, figuratively, always knew he was a bisexual since he felt comfortable around all his friends, both boys and girls. Anyway, I think Gabe felt fine being a bisexual as long as he was with friends, but it was difficult for him to come out to his parents, especially to his father I feel like Roberto is straight. Not sure why, though ×) He told Blanca first, and I believe she was perfectly fine with that since it's always been important to her that her son was happy. At first, Gabe was hesitant about telling Roberto that, but I think Blanca encouraged him, and Gabe was willing to do it eventually. I'm not sure what Roberto's reaction may be, but I like to think that he wasn't happy about it at first, but accepted it after all.

And when Gabe met Elena, Naomi, and Mateo, he didn't even have to tell them. It was crystal clear, especially after that wink to Mateo in Song of the Sirenas ×)

About the other characters. I guess I would talk only about the main four (well, three now) since they're the only characters I can think of at this point.

Elena (Panromantic Asexual). I headcanon Elena as pan, so I think she's a bit similar to Gabe. She always felt like she was attracted to all her friends despite their gender (maybe, even to Felicia, who knows). Considering Elena's confident nature, I believe she wasn't hesitant to tell her parents about that, and since Raul and Lucia seem to be the caring parents, I think they supported her undoubtedly and were happy for her. And I'm pretty sure her best friends knew it since the beginning, too. Just look at them. They all are not straight and even don't hide it.

Naomi (Bisexual). Why are they all so confident, help. Anyway, again, I feel Naomi is similar to Gabe. She's been spending her whole life traveling, so during the trips, she had been meeting lots of different people, and I'm sure she had a romantic relationship before she met Elena with Veronica, aksjjdndm. Her parents are very supportive (and, seriously, I'm pretty sure Scarlett is bisexual herself ×)), so Naomi didn't feel nervous coming out to them.

Mateo (Panromantic Demisexual). I imagine him being the only one among their friend group who was questioning at first. Mateo was a pretty secretive person (who even was hiding from his mother), so he probably didn't have friends before he met Elena. I suppose he wasn't realizing he was pansexual until he became the Royal Wizard and got a chance to meet more people. Gabe was the first person who found out he was pan and was trying to help him to figure things out. It was difficult for Mateo to come out to Rafa, even though he knew she would support him unconditionally. Anyway, he could handle it, and Rafa was very proud of her son.

These are very not detailed and kinda predictable, but it's honestly the only hcs I can come up with ×)

Hello my friends! This is the third part of this topic. This time we are gonna talk about 'Funeralia' episode 13x19 written by Steve Yockey.

We had a little of second meaning and laughs in this episode, so I hope you enjoy it.

Cas is a clueless hot angel

The first scene I wanna talk about is Rowena flirting with Castiel because I can. Our sweet witch doesn't lose her opportunity to show she really appreciates Castiel sex apple when she hears him talk at the other side of the line.

Of course, our cute angel reacts all flustered and Dean just looks at him askance like: "why are you blushing?" Which I find very accurate with Jealous!Dean. It's exactly the same reaction he had when Meg was around sending hearts with her eyes to Cas.

Rowena: Ah, the handsome angel is there, isn’t he? Hello tweety pie.

Castiel: Um, hello.

Another funny scene was the classic 'ball handler' .

Let's see how this scene starts...

Castiel and Dean are both trying to think how to track Gabe.

Dean: I didn’t say it was gonna be easy, but uh… All right, come on. Ideas. [closes his eyes and rubs his hands together] Come on. Here we go.

Dean starts by making a gesture with his hands, very cute and dummy, just because Castiel is there watching him. Cas sighs and closes his eyes. In that moment Dean flicks his eyes to him. Yeah, Castiel's handsome. But then Mr. MISCOMMUNICATION strikes again...

Dean: (...) Nah. I need a real drink. I’m gonna get a beer. You wanna beer?

Castiel: No.

Dean: I’ll get a beer.

Okay, this is something very VERY known in the fandom, so, I'm not saying new things but, Yockey wanted to remark here the Destiel classic MISCOMMUNICATION. In which Dean offers beer, Castiel says NO, and he gives him a beer anyways. So, if you pay attention bro the body language, Castiel shifts uncomfortably in his place as if he was mad.

Castiel: Maybe Heaven could help us.

Dean: Ah, not for nothing, but don’t the angels mostly want to kill you?

Dean again sending danger around Castiel. He doesn't want his angel to go through it, or die again. So, angels? Heaven? Is not a good idea.

Castiel: Yes. Yeah. This would be something of a Hail Mary.

Dean: Hmm.

Castiel: It’s a sports term, like slam dunk or, uh... ball handler.

Dean: That’s, uh… Mnh-mnh. No, I don’t think it's a good idea.

Castiel is hilariously using a second meaning term and Dean can't explain it because it would mean explain a sexual meaning to the angel, which, it's a big no. So he just checks him out, because he knows Castiel is not aware of he said. But it's also kind of hot and cute.

This is related to Gabe apparition in this season and all the sexuality and second meanings linked to angels.

When they engage into a discussion about why going with the angels is not a good plan, Sam appears in the middle bringing another problem. Dean solves that one and then, coming from nowhere, he just throws the conclusion to their previous chat with Castiel. This quote is full of Dean's deep fears. And it caught Sammy's attention, giving him an idea of what he had just interrupted.

Dean: You better. Cas, you wanna try this angel thing, then go for it. Just don’t get dead again.

'Just don't get dead again'. It's an inner prayer Dean has everyday, each time he recalls Castiel's dead and his own mourning. And Castiel's sueprised face.

Two Lovers

The dialogue between Jessica, the reaper, and Sam and Dean, telling them she's always watching them, it's a creepy foreshadow of Chuck and his eternal watching over the boys. Not intimacy at all.

But, I named this section 'two lovers' and I'm gonna explain why.

There's a pic inside a book Sam and Dean find to research about the murder of several reapers.

That picture had been analyzed plenty but a lot of meta writers in this fandom.

What I'm gonna add here is...

A lady in red ( Dean) a man in blue (Cas) and Death trying to separate them, unfructuously. Why? Because the man in blue (Castiel) kills Death.

This could be applied to:

Castiel killing Billie and then dying and then coming back from the Empty. It could be seen as triumph in episode 13x05 when the lovers are reunited.

But, but, knowing now the facts, I think it applies mostly to 15x18. Because Cas killing Death again... Being swallowed by the Empty (lovers separation) and then coming back to life in Heaven. And they robbed our Destiel reunion, for sure.

To Conclude, Death was always there separating the lovers...

Another quote I'm gonna bring here is something Bernard said to Dean...

Bernard: She’s powerful, she’s gorgeous, and she’s paying me a small fortune. That woman didn’t have to cast a spell on me.

This, my friends, it's related to the spell those two sisters put on Dean to make him fall in love with one of them. But... Takes those words and put it in Dean's mind. That applies perfectly to Castiel and him. Because CAS DIDN'T NEED TO PUT ANY SPELL ON HIM, BECAUSE CAS IS GORGEOUS AND POWERFUL, AND DEAN IS IN LOVE WITH HIM, FREELY IN LOVE WITH HIS ANGEL.

Another little foreshadows were implied in the conversation between Naomi and Castiel.

First of all, Castiel is able to snap at her what she did to him in season 8, as a growth of character. But, let's point at the little clues...

After talking about the few angels alive, which bring the huge crisis in Heaven, that will be solve by Jack as the new god at the end of the show, we had a foreshadow for 'souls walking the Earth' that will open season 14.

Naomi: Without him, in time we’ll burn out. Heaven will crumble, and all the souls that have been entrusted to our care will fall back to earth. Picture it, Castiel-- billions upon billions of ghosts unleashed upon the world. All that chaos, all that death.

And then, in our noses, Naomi is telling us the show was about to end...

Naomi: Everything ends, Castiel.

Cas: Everything ends.

To Conclude:

This episode had it all, sexual innuendo, fan service and clues to decipher the incoming season and also the end of the show.

When did they start publishing Dragon Ball in Finland? Wait no! Now I’m lying. Anastasia (Fox Animation Studios version) is the fandom that I’ve been longest. So about twenty years.

6. Do you remember your first OTP, if so who was in it.

Not sure... Maybe Candy and Annie from Candy Candy (anime only, haven’t ever read the manga and tbh, I will never ever read it - oh, and I never watched its ending, I quit soon after Candy and Terry [liked them too - and Candy/Anthony, when he died, it broke my little heart] were separated from each others, it got too ansty). Or maybe it was Sandybell and Mark & Alex and Kitty from Hello! Sandybell. But then on the other hand, it can be possible that it was Lynn x Edwars & Arthur x Sarah (and little bit Arthur x Lynn, which was weird, tho) from Lady Lady!! (Didn’t ever see its ending... or beginning. Only few episodes from middle.)

7. Name a fandom you didn’t care/think about until you saw it all over tumblr.

Hmmm... Maybe Shadowhunters. Like I’m not still big fan or anything, but the tv-serie is kinda interesting. Oh, Lizzy (and Malec).

8. Say something genuinely nice about a character who isn’t one of your faves (chars you’re neutral on are fair game, as are chars you dislike)

At first, I was going with Robert but the truth is, I can’t come up with anything good to say about that asshole...

Ross Barton, from Emmerdale. He is very funny, and loving and caring dad. And in deep inside, he has a good and pure heart. (Too bad, that always when I start to warm up to him, he does something very stupid and I’m “c’mon Ross, just when I stated to like you” and then I cry but only internally.)

9. Name three things you wish you saw more or in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice)

1. That everybody admits that Robert is abuser and his relationship with Aaron is toxic. 2. Stop pretending that Robert is saint and pure, he’s fuckin’ cheating abuser and murderer. 3. Does remember that Robert threatened a toddler (who has down syndrome, btw). What? Why do you think that I don’t like asshole Rober? I HATE him!

10. Choose a song at random, which ship or character does it remind you of

Cristina Perri’s The Words reminds me of Whoufflé. (Ha, Perri has two songs that remids me of Whoufflé. The other is, of course, A Thousand Years.)

12. Your most scandalous headcanon for your current OTP(s)/OT3(s)/OTX(s)

Scandalous? Don’t think I’ve any. I would say that Clara is the Doctor’s love of life, but that’s canon. Well, I like to think, that when Doctor some day, far away - very far away - in futute dies, Clara goes to him/her and kiss him/her on the forehead and says “I love you” to him/her for the last time. And after that, Clara goes back to the moment when she had to die and, well, die too, pretty much together with the Doctor. Because they are always together. That really isn’t scandalous, that’s just sad and bittersweet.

13. Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending, about anything at all (gender identity, sexual or romantic orientation, extended family, sexual preferences like top/bottom/switch, relationship with poetry, seriously anything)

See above. I thought, that this was canon, then it turned out that it wasn’t... but the Doctor is pansexual/-romantic (at least it’s canon that Clara is bi and Bill is gay). Oh, and there wasn’t any Danny Pink, and Clara didn’t never ever love him. (Danny Pink? Who is he?)

I almost forgot, Sherlock’s series 4 never even happened and Sherlock and Mycroft doesn’t have any sister.

Clara Oswald is the queen of universe and I love her so much. I love George Crabtree so much, he is pure and lovely.

And I want that George Crabtree finds his happiness and love of his life.

Headcanon for their sexuality:

I think Naomi is bisexual and Mateo is gay!

Have they came out? If so, how:

Naomi came out after Elena came out to her, including a confession ;D

I feel like Mateo was the first one who came to terms with his sexuality and was the first one to come out. He also came out to his mom when he was an early teen.

How their friends/family took their coming out:

Naomi only came out to her parents after her mother returned, because she did only really come to terms with her own sexuality while in Avalor, after she met Elena. Her parents took is well, though I think her dad was really trying to show his support and interest, asking if she already found a boyfriend - or a girlfriend! And being super awkward, but in a kind of adorable way?

Mateo's mom had kind of already suspected by the time Mateo came out to her, so she just smiled and hugged him.

And, uh, well, their friends took it by upgrading to boyfriend and girlfriend respectively. Though Gabe was super awkward when he asked Mateo out.

Do they go to Pride/With whom?:

Since they are best friends with the princess-to-be-queen who organizes Avalor's pride? Hells yeah! ;D

Do they show their colors? (Flag-wise):

Naomi would definitely look good in the bi colors. I think that Mateo might have a rainbow-colored tamborita.

One Sided Love

(8x18/8x19/8x20)

Hi my dears! I bring to you another meta from my series Destiel Chronicles.

Today we are going to talk about three episode that shows how Dean was feeling heartbroken, trying to handle a one sided love as he could see it.

Let's start...

Sam knows, and Dean avoiding his feelings to his brother

In episode 8x18 Feeeks and Geeks we had Sam trying to make his brother talk.

Because remember the last time, Sam saw him sad inside the Impala, listening to GOODBYE STRANGER song, and he get the idea right there. He saw how affected was his brother with Castiel leaving him. Because I really think Sam knew Dean felt something more than just a friendship for Castiel.

Just as Dean realized he loved Castiel, Sam realized Dean was in love with the angel.

So... Sam tried, as I said, to make Dean talk...

Sam is obviously trying to talk about how Dean is dealing with his brokenheart, but look at Dean's surprised face... Like... He didn't expected his brother came out with that question. Sometimes I wonder how much Dean thinks he can hide his feelings from his brother... Because he can't...

And because he's bringing CASTIEL to the chat... Dean connect the thing with... Feelings...

Okay... Sam brings Castiel to the surface, and Dean brings the word feelings to the surface too...

Sam is offering his shoulder here, waiting for Dean, at first it looks like Dean is about to confess something, but then... Th King of Avoidance, as I call him, decided to not talk, and because he needs the NO HOMO tag, he began to mocking his brother...

DEAN: Okay. I'll tell you what. Why don't I go get some, uh, herbal tea.

SAM: Okay.

Fine, I need you to pay attention to these words ... First of all... Herbal tea, mocking his brother, calling him a sensitive person, but that's the word that's accurate for you, Mr. Avoidance.

And then... Cowboy Junkies ... Okay, country music, with very sensitive lyrics... Poetic and corny... But do you know which song is one of their most famous? Misguided Angel. And do you want the lyrics?

I said "Mama, he's crazy and he scares me

But I want him by my side

though he's wild and he's bad

and sometimes just plain mad

I need him to keep me satisfied"

Okay people, idk if you all be alive after reading the whole lyrics here, but this is Cas here... Cas who went crazy and just flew away? He went to the dark side now bc he doesn't trust Dean? Yes Dean knowing he was off, he just couldn't stop praying to him, and calling him, and missing him. He wanted Castiel by his side, even if Cas was behavior weird.

I said "Papa, don't cry cause it's alright

And I see you in some of his ways

Though he might not give me the life that you wanted

I'll love him the rest of my days"

People... I can't with this subtext right here... Dean is suffering, but inside of him he wants to run to CAS? Like? Let me die here...

Misguided angel hangin' over me

Heart like a Gabriel, pure and white as ivory

Soul like a Lucifer, black and cold like a piece of lead

Misguided angel, love you 'til I'm dead

This song even mentions Gabe and Luci and I just Can't.

I said "Brother, you speak to me of passion

You said never to settle for nothing less

Well, it's in the way he walks,

it's in the way he talks

His smile, his anger and his kisses"

We all know Dean, same here...

I said "Sister, don't you understand?

He's all I ever wanted in a man

I'm tired of sittin' around the T.V. every night

Hoping I'm finding a Mr. Right"

Okay... After this... Romantic subtext here... And if you are alive yet... We had Sam upset, getting out the car...

Dean is pleased, he just avoid the conversation about him and Castiel and feelings, making his brother desist, and he's l safe now, in his avoidance world. Good Talk.

One Sided Love

Let's jump to episode 8x19 Taxi Driver we had a heartbreaking scene between Naomi and Dean.

Cas was gone, and Naomi wanted to win Dean's confidence, she needed an ally. But Dean didn't trust her. Because he knew all the thing she had done to Castiel... And this was the interesting exchange of words...

DEAN: You screwed with his head and had him spy on us.

NAOMI: Well, it is true that I have spoken with Castiel many times, trying to reach out to him, trying to help him. Dean, you must have noticed how Purgatory changed him. I mean, he's been unstable in the past, but I was shocked at how damaged he is now.

DEAN: Stop, okay? Don't – don't try to spin this. You think I don't know that you told him to try and kill me?

NAOMI: Hmm. Yeah, I suppose that is how he would hear it. When I learned of the Angel tablet, I did tell Castiel to get it at any cost. That's my job – to protect heaven. I'm a warrior, just as you are. What would you expect? And now Castiel is in the wind with a hydrogen bomb in his pocket, and I – I'm scared, for all of us.

First of all, Castiel is known as unstable? Okay, like he has a break on his chasis? The rebellious? Yes. The unpredictable. That's our Cas.

And Dean is trying to avoid her manipulative speech, even so, Naomi doesn't give up, and now she's using Castiel's safety as a tool to make Dean break.

Look at Dean's face when Naomi says YOU HAVEN'T WARDED THIS PLACE AGAINST US, is like he was caught... He didn't warded the place, just as he didn't warded in season 6, because he was waiting for Castiel to return... Ooohhh that damn corny song again in my head!

Look how Naomi is using Cas the whole time, he knows Dean's feelings for Castiel, and about their bond, every angel and every demon know that.

She's marking here... Your love is unrequited, Dean.

NAOMI: I know you don't want to believe it, Dean, but we're on the same side –

Again! Naomi is using Cas! Talking about bringing him back from cold? Really? She's using this words specifically to reach Dean! Through Castiel!

She's a bitch, but thank you for this subtext.

Blue Hand Print

Remember when I said season 8 the show began to use more colors and visual narrative?

Well episode 8x20 Pac-Man Fever, we saw bastards d-jin... Like the son you never wanted? With blue hand prints? Are we in the same page here?

We know the bad print is the Destiel symbol, and the color blue is a reference to Castiel, the rebellious son.

But in this chapter we also had this cute scene with Charlie...

Charlie is a character that always exposes Dean's bi self.

We know she had readed the Supernatural books, so she's aware about the subtext, and Castiel and Dean relationship. That's why this comment is so important, because she's trying to make Dean talk about Cas... Because why would a lesbian name a man dreamy, she was trying to get into an intimate confession from Dean about his dreamy angel. But as always, Dean avoid the insinuation. He's not looking at her, and he made that comment as if hearing Castiel's name was nothing. King of Avoidance my friends...

To Conclude:

Dean was feeling unrequited and abbandoned by Castiel, betrayed. He tried to avoid conversation with Sam, while naming things related with sensitive people and songs and herbal tea.

The unrequited love is exposed by Naomi on that important exchange of words he had with Dean. Dean was hoping Castiel to come back to him, even after the crypt scene.

Charlie is a factor of exposition for Bi!Dean, and is also a truly Destiel shipper.
