Day 14: Neji x Tenten

I've never been so involved in a fandom so hard as this one. Long before we noticed how Shikamaru and Temari were always together, this two were already seen together so many times since the beginning of the anime. Heck, their character song even sounds the same. When you think about it, the anime gave subtle hints of a couple by showing them together all the time e.g. Asuma & Kurenai, Shikamaru & Temari, Kakashi & Gai... I think Neji and Tenten would have married each other in Boruto if Kishimoto hadn't thought that the only way to bring Naruto and Hinata together is to kill Neji off. I seriously stopped watching the show when I found out that he died. Anyways, they have serious potential as a couple. Tenten greatly admires and respects Neji while he respects her also and is shown concern for her at times.

Interestingly, KakaGai and KisaIta pairs are not only rivals respectively to each other; but to me they are one of (few actually) the MOST HEALTHY relationship in the entire Naruverse, whether platonically or romantically speaking; despite both couples are not being heavily-focused in the original material (if we take out all the unofficial contents), and being sidelined to other overly-toxic and angsty shits which dominated in the whole show.

Kisame and Gai both care for their partner unconditionally and without any negative intention; Kakashi and Itachi also mutally respect and reciprocate those feeling in their own way. All those evidences are shown naturally and unforced even without all the support from the filler contents. Somehow Kishimoto just unintentionally(?) has a better writing skills when it comes to healthy male-bonding and female-bonding relationships, I assume.lol

Luckily, KakaGai had finally met their happy ending as they totally deserved all the way. And for KisaIta, I bet if they aren’t decided to get the tragic villians role, those 2 definitely can share the same happy end just like KakaGai : wandering around the world to enjoy their sweets-tour together; and maybe happen to greet the hot-spring-couple on their trip.

I decided to stop being lazy and start using my ink pen. I also decided to change the pose, to something a little more shikaneji properly speaking. I think it's much better!

There are even hands emerging!!!

I'm happy to notice how consistency really brings results, it gives me more motivation to continue studying and making better and better drawings!

HAPPY NEW YEAR GUUYS

So, this is the first post of the years...

And my inspiration comes from something I was reading about wabi sabi...

But what's this?

Wabi

Is the feeling generated by recognising the beauty found in simplicity.

Sabi

Is communicates a deep and tranquil beauty that emerges with the passage of time.

Then the book I'm reading says that when it comes from the Japanese "each ray of natural inspiration is a reminder to notice and appreciate what is here now, in all its ephemeral beauty." And that the four main seasons are woven into the fabric of everyday life, it reminds the Japanese people the meaning of the WabiSabi.

• The spring (sun) brings cherry blossom and hanami (flower-viewing) parties.

• Summer offers festivals and kimono -clad strolls along the river in search of fireflies.

• Autumn welcomes moon viewing and momiji (maple) leaves, especially memorable when lit up at night.

• And winter ushers in the quiet beauty of snow.

So as NaruSaku and SasuKarin has so many parallelism between them, this can be added for them.

About Karin and the Momiji... I know that at no point in the manga has she been correlated with tree or the season, but in contrast to Sakura, after the cherry blossom, Momiji and the autumn it's the most popular thing in Japan and now I just discovered that momiji is contemplated with the moon/at night just as the cherry blossom and the sun in the hanami... So, this is perfect.

And yes... Because her hair too hehehe
