Asteroid Pan in Natal and Synastry Charts

Once again, this information is compiled for my use and posted for shared convenience. Read my bio for a disclaimer and practice common courtesy if you're interested in using my words or work.

To start, we have to understand the context of Pan, whether as a mythic figure, a divine patron, or both.

Pan is a rustic god, whose domain extends over shepherds, hunting, panic, and folk practices, especially of music or prophecy. He is a companion to Dionysus, and travels with his nymphs.

🐑 Often, but not always, he is depicted as a satyr. Other times, he is represented with horns, but no hooves. Still other times, he is shown as humans, but in the company of satyrs, as well as normal goats.

🐑 He is mischievous, a giver of terror, as well as an eager pursuer of love and pleasure. But he is also a guardian of flocks, a practitioner of animal husbandry, so he is not entirely flippant and impulsive.

🐑 Essentially, Pan was a playful, festive spirit who enjoyed toying with the nerves of strangers and engaging in bestial mating rituals, but he also fully committed himself when guarding the vulnerable. He likes to watch people squirm, but he doesn't want to see the innocent flock actually harmed. Thus...

Asteroid Pan [4450] represents teasing, stimulation, excitement, and impulse control (or lack thereof). He also correlates to roles and relations based in pursuit, such as leader-follower and hunter-target.

Prominent natal placements of Pan indicate how such a position as his is fulfilled or obtained by the native.

For others who practice a faith that involves some form of the hellenic pantheon, I have listed how I interpret natal blessings from object-asteroid aspects here and are interested in my approach. You can interweave those basic interpretations with the ones I’ve provided and get a rough approximation of how I'd interpret the aspect.

Tight and significant conjunctions will create a sort of "wildcard leader" aspect to the native, empowering the native to vacillate between solemnity and joy when engaging with that role, while oppositions will invite a tension or controversy (that ultimately contributes to personal growth, if the native is healthy) from either pursuit of desire or acts of guidance.

🐑 John F. Kennedy is a great example of a Pan-Sun conjunction native. A steady leader who instilled feelings of unity, known for his lustful pursuits, maintaining good humor in the midst of strife, but certainly someone who spooked certain contemporaries.

🐑 Fascinatingly, his partner, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, has her own special relevant placement, a Pan-Venus conjunction opposite Pluto. Venus is the planet of values and is correlated to ideals and partners, so a conjunction draws her rational mind and physical needs to Pan-like personalities. Pluto opposition correlates this magnetism to her own generational traumas and transformations. That her Pan-Sun partner was assassinated sitting right beside to her? Worth noting.

🐑 Beyond her connection to her husband, however, Onassis was also a leader of the flock herself in her time as First Lady, mainly in that she became the face of an aristocratic American style. While her status is permanently tied to the tragedy of her narrative and the shock of the JFK assassination, her light, 'tasteful' ensembles contributed to the guidelines of upper-crust American femininity.

🐑 Meanwhile, Marie Antoinette had Pan conjunct Pluto, and we know where her indulgence lead her. Beyond the obvious tie from debauchery to death, this aspect also suggests a dread or anxiety tied to the concept of shepherding, or being in a position to guide.

A few other noteworthy individuals with Pan conjunctions and oppositions include:

Rita Hayworth, Machine Gun Kelly, and Empress Josephine all have Pan conjunct their Ascendant.

Lucille Ball's Pan is conjunct her Pallas-Saturn conjunction.

Pan conjunct Neptune was an aspect in Catherine the Great's chart. Meanwhile, Pan opposite Neptune features in the chart of Fiona Apple.

Pan conjunct Lilith is present in the charts of both Kurt Cobain and Princess Diana!

Marilyn Monroe's Pan was opposite her Vertex, and thus conjunct her Antivertex.

Squares and trines create relationships between that planet's domain and acts of pursuit and guardianship.

🐑 Like Jackie O, Tobias Forge of Ghost also has a Pan-Pluto opposition, but this is complemented by tight trines with Neptune and multiple Muse asteroids, as well as a square with Orpheus. In this case the aspect with Pluto manifests with an alternative influence on culture, as a frontman for a band which inspires both fanatical devotion and a consistent amount of controversy.

🐑 His project itself is a mockery of the powerful institution that is the Catholic Church, but concerts and fan spaces are a place of comfort, and funds from a certain cover song are literally donated to a charity which organizes safe spaces for the vulnerable (summer camps for trans kids).

🐑 Obviously, Neptune and the Muses correlate to art, which connects those Pan themes perfectly to his music. Even better, Neptune rules spirituality, delusion, and mystery. The band's theme is religious, and all members used to be anonymous until a dismissed court case forced Tobias to publicly identify himself, though all other members retain anonymity.

🐑 Britney Spears's Pan is trine her Vertex, Sun, and Lilith, as well as being opposite her Moon. The trine aspects, especially with the Sun, positions a spotlight on her ability to collect massive amounts of fans (aka followers) by making her own choices, and committing to the honest, unapologetic performance of sensual, intimate power.

🐑 The Pan-Moon opposition further speaks to her past and sense of self being in direct conflict with follower-following relationships. This may reflects her struggle to reclaim personal financial autonomy from her former guardians, but I'd shift focus to her relationship with the public, and how contentious it became when she tried to grow and leave her chaste teen image behind, prioritizing adult expression over imposed responsibility to censor herself to comply with outrage from parents.

🐑 This contention actually fed into and fueled Britney's narrative: the rejection of her after she expressed her wild side empowered her to pursue her desires as a new type of female role model, one that had been slut-shamed but come out the other side all the more iconic and beloved. (There's a lot more that worth exploring there, too.)

🐑 Liam Gallagher of Oasis has his Pan squaring his Sun, Mars, and Midheaven. Anyone who knows the fraught history of the band won't be surprised to see an aspect that promises challenges in how taking a leadership role relates to overall growth, animal instincts, and the personal pinnacle of honor.

A few other noteworthy individuals with natal Pan trines and squares (along with other placements) include:

Megan Fox's Pan is conjunct her Mercury, trine her Mars-Ascendant conjunction, and square her Moon.

Britney Spears's Pan is trine her Vertex, Sun, and Lilith, and opposite her Moon.

Liam Gallagher of Oasis has his Pan squaring his Sun, Mars, and Midheaven.

Major Synastry: What Synastry Aspects with Pan Mean

Synastry involving Pan indicates a relationship which instills anxiety, lust, and comfort simultaneously.

Conjunctions reveal a focal point of frenetic, kinetic energy in the dynamic. The Pan individual engages with the other's object like a big, red button that is begging to be pressed. They know it will fire up the other's nerves in whichever way, but it's just so tempting...

🐑 For example, two natives with a double Pan conjunction share a raw and mutual lust, a desire to play chase with one another. This can mean quick, stimulating, and playful foreplay. Both also want to see the other person's desire. This placement doesn't necessarily want a hunt - it wants a game, some sort of race or play-fight where both members are equally participatory.

🐑 It also indicates a willingness to play with each other's minds. On some level, both individuals like the idea of having the power to give the other a scare. They each like the feeling of messing with the other's head, no matter how much they care.

🐑 House overlays are crucial for mutual conjunctions. I'm looking at a Pan-Pan conjunction that lands in one of the native's 12th every time, regardless of zodiac and house system. This empowers the aspect of fear in the relationship for this native. It also transfers their pursuit to the realm of fantasy. They may desire to take that role in the relationship, but they are more likely to imagine it than to actually act upon it.

🐑 It also means the other person in the relationship may have no idea the lust is mutual. The 12th house native relegates it too well. This might frustrate the other, making them feel denied or rejected. They may sense reciprocation, but they feel a need to push the 12th house person until they break down and express it. But the 12th house native also won't be able to clearly see the other's playfulness and aggression for what it is: a signal of lust and even care, missed due to doubt.

🐑 For another example, Pan conjunct Saturn would give the Pan native an easy way to push the Saturn native's buttons. Saturn will clam up at any suggestiveness from or about Pan, mostly because any wildness they exhibit makes them feel less in control.

🐑 Ultimately, however, Pan is a guardian of the flock as much of a member of Dionysus's retinue. Pan can contribute to Saturn's goals and take the reins when necessary. Pan makes Saturn anxious, but ultimately Saturn comes to see the potential for stability there.

🐑 Saturn has major power to turn Pan on, but it takes a while to build. Pan may not consider Saturn that way at first, only to realize after some time that Saturn drives them absolutely crazy, and then they'll be hard pressed to stop fantasizing over them.

🐑 Pan is a follower as much as a pursuer, and if Saturn accepts their advances, Pan will adopt them as one of their own, and be sure to care for them regardless of whatever chaos is going on. If Saturn shies away, Pan may get frustrated and lash out, or may try to tear down whatever stability Saturn relies upon.

🐑 Princess Diana had her Pan conjunct the Pluto of Prince Charles, and Dodi al Fayed had his Pan conjunct her Ceres-Vesta conjunction.

🐑 Diana's ability to garner a following is tied to the tragedies defining Charles personally as well as those of his generation. Diana's grief and devotion connects to Dodi's capacity as a pursuer and follower. If you know anything even generally about these three, you likely immediately understand how accurate this is.

A few other noteworthy pairs with Pan conjunctions in their synastry:

Empress Josephine's Pan was conjunct Napoleon I's Vertex.

Prince Philip's Pan was conjunct Queen Elizabeth II's Pallas-Pluto conjunction.

Nancy Spungen's Pan was conjunct Sid Vicious's Lilith.

Megan Fox's Pan is conjunct Machine Gun Kelly's Mercury-Pallas conjunction.

Oppositions indicate a more fixed pursuer-pursued dynamic. There's a similar flow of energy, but it seeps out, and is both more confrontational and more indirect than with conjunctions. Pan seeks to provoke the other into revealing that part of themself.

🐑 For example, I see Pan opposite a Chiron-Juno conjunction. This is already made more complex by the involvement of two objects, but essentially, the Pan native enjoys maneuvering the other into exposing their romantic hurts, and even gets pleasure from indirectly forcing them into embodying a spousal or sensual archetype. Chiron-Juno finds the teasing, erratic attention of Pan frustrating, both sexually and emotionally, but also compelling.

🐑 So, that sounds really abstract, but how this plays out in real life, is we have a pair where one is always needling at the other about their experiences with relationships. Maybe the Chiron-Juno native is inexperienced, or has traumas. Once the Pan native learns about this, they find it hard to resist dredging those up whenever the chance arises. Something in them just likes watching the other squirm over their romantic insecurities.

🐑 As for the second part, the Pan native will find it exciting when the other has to fill the roles represented by Chiron and Juno. This is the soul's caretaker (Chiron) and the erotic counterpart in body and mind (Juno). Combined, we see a mistress-as-missus figure, the second wife, or simply the erotic healer. Chiron's link to the 'hurt healer' and Juno's statistical link to infidelity and eroticism may also suggest the willingness of the

🐑 Again, houses play a big role here. In this chart, Pan falls into the Pan native's tropical 6th and sidereal 7th, so the other's Chiron-Juno conjunction falls into their tropical 12th and sidereal 1st. The reason why the Pan native feels the need to push the other's buttons about is because they see the other's pain as something hidden from them that is key to understanding their place in this world, and yet also is a reflection of a crucial part of themselves, and so they feel the need to take control in their day to day interactions and of their relationship, specifically by exhibiting the leadership and predatory traits of Pan.

🐑 Let's look at another chart. I see Pan opposite a Pluto-Nymphe conjunction. Nymphe is correlated to nymphs, who commonly kept company with Pan in his travels. This looks like a relationship with both natural comradery and tension.

🐑 The Pluto-Nymphe individual may alternate between playfully elusive and intensely confrontational. The individual is both drawn to and afraid of being captured or hunted, and exposes their wilder side when they want to intimidate others. Their visceral desires and bright spirits only make them seem more ethereal, and thus, out of reach.

🐑 However, this only makes for all the more fun a game to play in the eyes of the Pan native. No ethereal spirit is above a good trick and no force of nature is too powerful to chase down, and besides, a target that positions itself as out of reach is only going to be more satisfying to take in hand.

🐑 On the whole, the amusement and protectiveness that Pan brings can provide some much needed levity to the Pluto-Nymphe native's fears, but the opposition and the asteroid involved will make the link a magnetic, if at times humbling and challenging, one.

🐑The Pan native will also encourage the other's sexuality, and may try to provoke, trick, or guide the other in their embodiment of raw sensual power as a natural force. In fact, the Pan native might be most delighted to find that when pushed to the brink, the Pluto-Nymphe native turns the tables and puts them in a position of prey instead!

Some noteworthy examples of Pan oppositions in synastry:

Napoleon I's Pan was opposite Empress Josephine's Lilith.

Prince Albert's Pan was opposite Queen Victoria's Vesta.

Nancy Spungen's Pan was opposite Sid Vicious's Pluto.

Megan Fox's Pan is opposite Machine Gun Kelly's Pluto-Lilith-Juno conjunction.

I had originally intended to go into sextiles and quintiles in natal charts; squares, tries, sextiles, and quintiles in synastry charts; as well as how aspects to specific related asteroids play out, but I think that's a little ambitious considering everything on my plate right now. Meanings of the Houses (humor edition)

No planets in the 1st house = You’re a spirit without a body.

"Show me your natal chart and I'll tell you where you're from" is wrong eugenics bullshit huh?

No. You can literally determine a person's date of birth and the general region they were born in from their natal chart. There's a calculator that lets you do it right over here.

(And this, kiddies, is why we don't post our natal charts anyplace we wouldn't also post our birthdays!)

Astro Observation: Commonalities in Serial Killer charts

DISCLAIMER: Any aspects, placements, signs, etc. that I mention here on out do not mean that people with one or all of these are, will become, or will act out serial killer tendencies. I am merely finding common aspects and placements in famous serial killers' charts to delve deeper into the reasons for their actions. As always, one aspect can be expressed in so many different ways. So, take everything with a grain of salt.

If we break down each person's chart by only personal planets, what sign comes up the most often?

Scorpio and Gemini are the signs that came up most frequently. Every serial killer in my list has Scorpio or Gemini in their charts except for Richard Ramirez and Aileen Wuornos.

Scorpio is not a big surprise since this is the sign ruled by Pluto. Death, taboo subjects, obsession, fascination with darker sides of life, control, and power are all very Scorpionic and Plutonian themes. Negative Scorpio traits include being vengeful, manipulative, aggressive, and insensitive. They have innate seductive energy that lures people in as well.

Gemini is a bit more surprising. However, Geminis are curious, clever, impulsive, moody, and good with words. They like to know private information about other people. They are also social creatures, so if they are lacking social connection, things can go south for them. Or, they can use their social skills to lure others to them. The duality of Geminis could go to the extremes; two different personalities in one.

The next most frequent sign is Aquarius. Richard Ramirez and Aileen Wuornos have Aquarius in their charts.

Not a huge surprise with Aquarius. Negative Aquarius energy could mean detachment from emotions, lack of empathy, extreme rebelliousness, pessimism, and coldness. They can be unpredictable and have a superiority complex as well.

The sign that did not appear at all among personal planets is Leo. Taurus and Cancer come in a close second with only one each.

By modality? Not much difference here, but Mutable signs are in the lead. Mutable (17), Fixed (14), Cardinal (13)

By element? Air and Water came up the most with 15 and 13 respectively. Fire and Earth tied at 8 each.

Most common aspect?

Neptune - Pluto (8/9)

This is a generational aspect so 8 out of the 9 have Neptune sextile Pluto, except for Charles Manson. This aspect lasts from the 1940s to the 2030s (Charles Manson was born earlier in 1934). Because this aspect includes such a wide range of people, it does not have a huge effect on our serial killer study. I also do not know their birth times, so I do not even know which houses Neptune and Pluto land in their charts.

Venus - Mars (7/9)

Venus-Mars aspects are typically seen as attractive aspects since they join the planet of love, beauty, and sensuality with the planet of action, physicality, and aggression. From a negative perspective, Venus-Mars can also mean a love for aggression, sexual frustration, and an imbalance between wanting to be accepted/acceptable and wanting to act out in self-interest. May want love and affection, but either in an unconventional way or a part of them fights against or feels uncomfortable with this desire. (Ted Bundy and Jeffrey Dahmer are the only two who do not have this aspect; Ted Bundy was known to be attractive to a lot of people and had a certain charm; he does has Venus square Pluto.)

Moon - Uranus (7/9)

Once again, because I do not know birth times, the Moon placements are not accurate. However, I still thought this might be good to look at since there are so many of them. Moon-Uranus gives an unpredictable and disruptive nature to emotions. Their emotional lives may feel unstable, and strong emotions may rise suddenly. They could be rebellious and may feel restless frequently; may desire to separate themselves from others. Childhood could have been unstable/unaffectionate, and these people could lack slow, routine comfort. (John Wayne Gacy and David Berkowitz are the only two who do not have this aspect; David Berkowitz does have Aquarius Moon, which is different from Moon-Uranus but could give a similar flavor)

Sun - Saturn (6/9)

There is self-restricting energy that comes with Sun-Saturn aspects. In a negative light, this aspect shows seriousness, self-denial, lacking a strong sense of self, insecurity, and taking yourself too seriously. This could also show that people deny the Sun-Saturn people their self-expression and acceptance. (Pedro Lopez, Jeffrey Dahmer, and David Berkowitz are the only three who do not have this aspect)

Mars - Neptune (6/9)

Mars-Neptune can be spiritual, elusive, sensitive, imaginative, and dependent. In the realm of serial killers, spirituality can be taken to the extreme; think cult activity, believing a higher power is making you do bad things, etc. (Charles Manson has Mars conjunct Neptune, and David Berkowitz has Mars trine Neptune.) Serial killers can blend in and play in the shadows too, which is Neptunian. They can also assume a different persona, act like a completely different person. Many of these killers were seen as sensitive, shy, and/or polite during the day or in childhood. They can be impressionable; could have been heavily affected by their childhood environments, and acted out physically by imitation or by lashing out. (Pedro Lopez, Harold Shipman, and Jeffrey Dahmer are the only three that do not have this aspect.)

Closing Thoughts

When it comes to serial killers, I see two trains of thought. There is an intense fight between two opposing sides in one person. There is also an extreme detachment from themselves and other people. Saturn is the most aspected planet among these 9 charts, which speaks volumes astrologically about what can push someone to that level of violence and anger. Control, denial, and detachment are huge themes. There is absolutely no excuse for these serial killers and what they did to their victims and the victims' families and loved ones. But it is important to know that most, if not all of them, were denied love and affection in childhood. They were controlled or neglected by authority figures, whether or not this was perceived or for real. And they developed the ability to detach from themselves and other people. They then exert control over their victims and literally deny them their lives. During the act, they detach from any societal morals and ethics and any part of themselves that could possibly say that they shouldn't go through with their violent thoughts.

When there is discomfort within one's self, it builds up and, over time, this pent-up frustration and anger has to come out somehow. This is oftentimes through aggression (Mars) that is ignited by strong emotions (Moon). Serial killers take this to another level (violence, violent emotions)

It is also interesting to see Jupiter within the top half of the list. Serial killers tend to have strong ideologies/principles about the world, people, and everything that is wrong with both. This can also show an urge to expand and inflict their ideologies onto other people.

This is my little "study" on some famous serial killers. Kind of creeping me out right now so...

Astro Observations: Duality 🖤🤍(1 of 2)

There is duality in all things, within ourselves and especially in astrology. This concept is more easily seen with sister/opposite signs and the correlating houses. Libra can be impulsive like Aries when put under pressure; as we enhance the way we speak on ourselves and view ourselves (2H) we find our external resources increased and blessings *coming out of nowhere* (8H). If you seek to innerstand your circumstances, or anything, look to the opposing house/sign and see it's condition.

**I will be using the term 'unbalanced' in this thread to describe the extreme dualities of the signs rather than 'undeveloped' as it seems more accurate and less offensive**

ARIES/LIBRA - Aries is commonly seen as impulsive and direct but this is often times rooted in the need to avoid excessive overthinking and the possibility of suffering lack or loss of something. Aries is very much about fairness but quick deliberation, wasting no time on the unnecessary details. Similarly, Libra is seen as the judge and jury, *sometimes* taking an excessively long time to deliberate in order to ensure that all parties/perspectives are taken into consideration. A big lesson on this axis would be learning when to be self-preserving and when to be diplomatic/giving. Unbalanced Aries energy can be selfish & only concerned with their preservation which results in them being alone or alienated by those around them; by opposition, unbalanced Libra energy can be overly concerned with the opinions of others, so focused on being 'palatable' that they forsake their own needs. From each other Aries can learn when to consider the needs of others without sacrificing themselves and Libra can learn when to be self-preserving and concerned primarily with themselves.

TAURUS/SCORPIO - Taurus is often seen as stubborn, immovable or stuck in their ways. The reality is that Taurus prioritizes comfort above anything else and anything that would compromise their peace and comfort is quickly eradicated/removed. Similarly, Scorpio can be seen as excessively private, slow to trust and even slower to open up. This is due to the privacy and trust of both signs being invaded in one way or another. Unbalanced Taurus is often very private and quick to drop people that they assume are a threat to their comfort/peace. Unbalanced Scorpio may isolate themselves or only seek out relationships, subconsciously, that spark transformation in them. Unbalanced Scorpio may assume that the calmness they experience is only the 'calm before the storm', they would do well to enjoy those moments of peace and nourish them rather than wait for them to be ripped away. From each other, they can learn to use discernment to filter through the energies/people that enter their lives. Taurus can learn from Scorpio that sometimes you have to be uncomfortable/embrace sudden change that takes you out of your comfort zone. Scorpio can learn from Taurus that you don't have to seek out drastic change, you can allow yourself to enjoy comfort and ease whilst still embracing the inevitable changes of life.

GEMINI/SAGITTARIUS - Gemini is typically characterized as talkative, witty, flexible or malleable and able to adjust and recalibrate for unexpected changes. Sagittarius, similarly, is also always on the move, ready for any and everything that comes their way with a seemingly unwavering optimism in all they do. Unbalanced Gemini is in constant pursuit of information and accumulating excessive knowledge with no actual focus or specialties. Gemini as an archetype is the student that changes their major four times before deciding to either take a break or do something else because of their inability to streamline their inquisitive nature. Unbalanced Sagittarius on the other end can also be in constant pursuit of knowledge but can fall prey to dogmatism. Their pursuit of knowledge as it pertains to their specialized interest can instill a belief that their extensive research makes them a self-proclaimed expert, or worse, a philosophical tyrant incapable of accepting new perspectives or opinions. Gemini can learn from Sagittarius to streamline their investigative mind and focus on one topic at a time. If they put their mental efforts towards one interest at a time, they will find they acquire many skills. Sagittarius can learn from Gemini that there is always more to learn, more to absorb, always another lesson. Channeling that malleability in their research/inquiries will allow them to have specialized interests that are also well rounded and not rooted in solely their carefully curated research and database of knowledge.

they will still have an impact but it's a more societal thing! and it's only generational within a couple years, even less if you're doing very strict orbs. i'd say it's more likely to be unconscious, background influence and like, the way that you operate in the world. for instance all the millennials like me with pluto in scorpio, which spans much longer than an opposition like this, it affects (or better, reflects) the sort of cynical/depressing way most millennials view their lot in life but they mainly view it as that's just the way the world is for them. and it is, in a way, but it's in their personal astrology too. so your opposition here is similar, but actually more personal than that.

Edgar Cayce, Pisces Mystic

Edgar Cayce, famously known as "The Sleeping Prophet", was born in Christian County, Kentucky, on March 18, 1877. When Edgar was thirteen years old, he received a vision of a lady "bathed in light" who told him that he would be able to accomplish his dream, which was to be of service to others.

It was a untreatable case of laryngitis that drove him to seek help from unconventional means, and the conduit through which he gave over 30,000 readings: hypnosis.

He discovered that he could give accurate medical diagnoses while in this sleeping state. Soon his gifts became widely known, and his services sought after. Eventually, he opened the Cayce Psychic Institute to conduct readings.

He also gave life readings and channeled information on topics such as religion, metaphysics, geography, medicine, and history. Some of the things he discussed while in the trance state disturbed him upon awakening because they conflicted with his personal belief system. Edgar was a devout Christian who studied the Bible. He never claimed to have special powers, nor tried to start a religion, persuade anyone to have any specific beliefs, and never charged for his healing recommendations.

Edgar Cayce had other psychic experiences, along with bizarre and tragic events throughout his life, including deaths of loved ones, devastating fires that consumed his photography studios, injuries and accidents, and a brush with his own death after nearly drowning. He was arrested again for practicing without a medical license. Financial upheaval made him close his center.

Later, the Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) was formed in Virginia Beach, Virginia to continue the work he had been passionately pursuing ever since his visitation with the glowing lady.

🌊 1198 Atlantis is in sixth house Cap. I did a write up about Atlantis here. It is prominent in healers' charts, people who are psychically gifted, and is said to indicate possible past lives. It could also show where you may be prone to destruction or suffer a fall from grace. Starseeds are also connected to Atlantis. But that is another unwritten post for another day.

Edgar often gave readings about the fabled lost island civilization, and talked about past lives connected with it. There is a book with these readings called Edgar Cayce on Atlantis.

🙌 5239 Reiki (connected to special abilities and healing) is in sixth house Cap. Although actual Reiki is typically associated with hands to direct channeled energy, the asteroid fits. I am not surprised to see it here.

Edgar's medical readings were a treasure trove of information on how to cure the various ailments that plagued the people who asked him for help. His diagnoses were so accurate that he was arrested for practicing medicine without a license.

5264 Telephus (telepathy) is in seventh house (relationships, balance, justice) Aquarius (humanitarianism, community). Using his mental gifts to aid people, anyone he possibly could.

I also wanted to point out the nice 5252 that was auto generated by WordPress. Whenever I see one that seems interesting, I'll plug it into Astro.com to see if anything relevant comes up. In this case, it is asteroid 5252 Vikrymov, named in honor of Viktor Aleksandrovich Krymov, deputy director of the Institute of Theoretical Astronomy for many years. It is said that his energetic work contributes to the success of the Institute. Vikrymov was found at 18 degrees Pisces.

In Edgar's chart, asteroid 5252 Vikrymov is in eleventh house (friends, groups) Gemini (communication, mental energy, ideas, learning) at 14 degrees.

So what does Vikrymov mean? If I had to guess, possibly where and how we apply analytical skills, the power to theorize, or where we have unflagging energy to do so.

I put asteroid 295 Theresia (my name asteroid) there out of curiosity. It falls in tenth house (reputation, public) Aries (initiative, action).

The transits are interesting. Things seems to be activated even though this is Edgar's chart. IMHO we are all constantly interacting/overlapping energy fields/vibrations anyway.

Edgar died on January 3, 1945 after suffering a stroke. Before he passed, he had woken from sleep and said "How much the world needs God today."

So another cool thing about Paul’s chart is how the planets are all clustered into the upper half:

These top-heavy charts indicate someone who is expressive and status-driven. They are highly motivated to achieve and maintain a good reputation. They tend to be involved in their communities. Take it too far and they can be shallow, but in general they are the backbone of a functioning and healthy society. Makes sense for Paul, right?

That kind of chart is really something I haven’t seen a lot. Part of that might just be that people who are looking for readings tend to be more introspective, but even in celebrity charts I’ve seen a lot more bottom-heavy than top-heavy charts. Like, say, John’s:

See how most of John’s planets are on the bottom half? Only Moon (☽) and Mercury (☿) are above the axis. These bottom-heavy charts mark people who are more driven by authenticity than status. They are less likely to be interested in public recognition, rewards, and honors (sometimes, even a steady paycheck isn’t really worth it for them). They tend to be very private, introspective, and they have idiosyncratic personal standards. Take it too far and they can be solipsistic and antisocial, but in general they stand for the right and duty to determine for ourselves whether or not we are living our best lives—and anyone who tries to weigh in can go hang.

John’s chart is bottom-heavy, Paul’s is top-heavy—I think this indicates one of the major things that drove them apart. Different values. Different sources of validation. John sought fame, sure (his Moon up there explains a lot of that—the Moon has a lot to do with our emotions, desires, and dreams), but, once he actually got it, he sure got tired of everything except the money in a hurry. His chart totally makes sense for a househusband stay-at-home parent “watching the wheels go round and round.” Whereas Paul is still going strong five decades later; even when disgusted by the press he still kept trying to win them over and correct the narrative and play their game.

So John’s chart has almost the opposite energy to Paul’s, but it is quite similar to Ringo’s, which is bottom-heavy to the extreme:

Remember the outrage when Ringo announced that he wasn’t going to answer any fan mail anymore, ever, period? That is a move totally predicted by this chart. Its extreme “lowness” indicates someone who is concerned with their own habits, family, friends, passion projects, and daily routine far above anything else. (Also, bless him, Ringo has most of his planets in house 5, the house of creation, pleasure, and fun. “I just wanna boogaloo!” Indeed.)

So you may be predicting that George will be in the same vein as John and Ringo. I did too, but we are wrong. George has a very balanced chart, planets spread out all around his zodiac:

I was surprised at first, but this made a lot more sense when I thought of George’s life as a whole. As a Beatle we saw him uncomfortable and cramped—by the fame, by the rules and structure, by the “drag” of touring and interviewing, by his flying phobia, by his creative dissatisfaction, by his deteriorating relationships with some people (John cough Paul cough) to whom he would have once been so close. So he became very withdrawn and kind of passive-aggressive. (He’s also super Water-dominant, so that’s on point as a coping mechanism.) But outside of his Beatle phase of life... think of what we know of him as a schoolboy. Independent, a rebel, a social leader. Also someone who valued his friends fiercely and wasn’t afraid to show it (like headbutting the classmate that he so quickly decided who wasn’t worthy of Paul). We also see all this again in the Traveling Wilburys phase (the way he’s remembered to this day for what a great hugger he was...) In short, his chart argues that George is a pretty well-rounded person, not given to extremes of ambition or privacy. Does it check out? I think so.

Recently I got this submission in my inbox: "Hii, can u do a natal chart reading on Monica Bellucci. I just find her so irresistible and classic. The fact that she was able to be at the top even when the blondes with blue eyes were considered desirable. She has also aged like a fine wine, she has this magnetic pull towards her that I can’t look away. Thank you 🙏 " and I think this is a lovely idea 😍 Monica is drop dead gorgeous and I've been simping over her as longs as I remember so it will be really fun analyzing her!

This is her natal chart:

Right off the bat you can notice the two houses that are prominent in her chart: 7th & 8th house! This makes sense, since those houses are related to beauty, romance, aesthetics, socializing (7th house) and transformation, sex, intimacy and opsession (8th house).

Her Sun, Mercury & Pluto are in her 8th house meaning that the core of her identity is to crave deeper connections with people. She's also very analitical (Mercury in the 8th house in Virgo) and she can read people well. She's very sharp and intuitive, which made people like her even more (the one's that were working/interacting with her) and that's what also made her mesmerising on the TV screen - her eyes, her stare & her movements were seductive, attractive and captivating (once again 8th house!). It seemed like everything she did was right - every moment of hers was sexy and luscious. Once again this is most likely due to her strong intuition and good observations of her surroundings. She even has the asteroid Nymphe in the 7th house which helps her even more in charming people. And ofcourse she is a LIBRA Sun, meaning that she finds flirting, romanticing things & charming others very fun & amusing! Her 7th house stellium makes her very diplomatic and sweet when she talks to others. She radiates calm energy that makes many people adore and love her. Uranus in the 8th house helped her most likely in getting rich since it represents gaining large sums of money in a unconventional way. This placement can be a bit problematic though since it makes the person unable to become independent and it can also create rocky relationships and friendships. It's opposite to her Chiron in Pisces, which means she is deeply hurt by the way some people quickly change their opinion of her (this might be related to her early years of life). She also might had a desire to change the perspective of others on sex icons/sexualized women in general (which she did as it is mentioned in the submission!). It probably also hurt her how other women in the industry are treated and how high beauty standards for women are (Chiron opposite Pluto). Luckily, she did work hard and smart (Pallas in the 10th house/Capricorn rising/Mercury in Virgo/Mercury trine Jupiter) and she made it to the top and helped change the beauty standards of her time. And interestingly, she is most famous because of the movie Malena in which she plays the role of a woman being sexualized and who in the end suffers because of her magnificent beauty (totally a story that would fit someone who has an 8th house stellium - a story about transformation and sexual topics).

Something that could also be related to her Uranus in her chart (which is also conjunct Pluto and opposite her Chiron) is her desire to fight for liberal views and to fight againts anything thay restricts anyone's freedom (for example, she posed nude while she was pregnant with her daughter in 2004 in attempt to protest againts the Italian restrictions and traditional laws - there are many more examples of her talking about topics such as sexual abuse, abortions, the restriction of women's freedom etc.).

Now let's talk about her stellium in LEO, which makes her confident and secure in her looks and intelligence. She probably doesn't doubt at all that she's stunning which makes her even more hot! She knows her fashion and what fits her body type the best (Moon & Venus in the 7th house in Leo). She's also very emotional and she takes pride in acting, modelling and becoming a representation for young women (Leo Moon feels everything so purely and strongly - they are consumed with every emotion they feel, this makes them very stubborn and dedicated too). Leo Moon is also an excellent placement for an acting career! She even has her Moon sign at the 2nd degree (Taurus degree) which makes her even more passionate about her views on life. Leo Mars is very dominant energy that will light up the whole place once they step into the room. She's a strong character and she will always fight for what she loves, believes in and what she thinks is morally correct. She's very elegant and smooth and she does things so seemingly carelessly - as only Leo placements can with their self assured mindsets.

Saturn in the 1st house means that she most likely struggled with they way she looks and how others percieved her in her early years of life. Which is most likely why it was later on important for her that others see her as the powerful, sexy and talented woman that she is. Capricorn risings also age very well which explains why she is still absolutely stunning.

Jupiter in Taurus (4th house) is also a very good placement that indicates wealth and support from her family members.

Venus square Jupiter could mean that in the end, even after everything she's done, her life is similar to the story of Malena, and it was difficult for her to find someone who sees her for her true self and not only for her looks. She also started modelling at a very young age (age 13) which could be very exhausting mentally for her to be already at that very age noticed only for her looks. This placement also indicates some kind of an insecurety and also supressed energy that might make her a bit of a people pleaser and a bit dependent on others. She supresses some of her needs and cravings to please others. She also might escape the reality with writing, fantasizing and romanticing every day interactions. She has a vivid imagination that might turn againts her sometimes. She might not see the reality as it really is from time to time due to the fact that she prefers to believe in the imagine she created of the other person rather than in the actions of the other person.

Chiron trine MC/Neptune trine Chiron - her career helped her in healing some of the deeply rooted issues she had. Her interest in spirituality and mysticism helped her a lot as well.

Pluto sextile MC helped her greatly in appearing sexy and dominant in the fashion industry.

Neptune conjunct MC - most likely contributed to her missing some even bigger opportunities. It might be related to her not being told the truth always (this is mostly related to her career choices).

The Average Face of Each Zodiac Sign

The average faces for each zodiac sign calculated using Midjourney's AI to aggregate images of public figures of diverse ages with Sun/Moon/Rising and/or 3+ inner planet stelliums in each zodiac sign.

I attempted to assemble as much ethnic diversity as I could, though quality data is often lacking on people traditionally marginalized by Western history, so more work is needed on that front. Some images represent a "racial average" of 1 of each White, Black, Latinx, East Asian and West Asian appearing-averages, in efforts to make a universal standard.

Others are simply an average of the entire database.

Others are averaged by visual "types". For instance, Cancer stellium women with Gemini-Scorpio as a secondary influence seem more prone to appear in historic databases than any other sort of Cancer stellium, and are visually very identifiable. So much so that I created a category for this combination of signs amid "standard Cancer".

These averages are continually being updated as new data comes in. Each image references ~15-20 individuals whose natal chart uniquely reflects a stellium (3+ significant chart aspects) in the given sign. In most instances, gender is based on assigned sex at birth.

Referencing data gathered by friends at the Astrofaces Project and the user-submitted database at Astroseek.com, I've been able to check my averages of renowned public figures sourced in the Astrodatabank & Astrotheme databases to determine the accuracy/legitimacy of each visual average.

Notes:

You may not resemble your sun sign, because another sign may predominate your chart. Visit a site like Astro-charts.com to make a free chart & see which sign is most dominant in your chart. For maximum accuracy, you will need correct birth time & place in addition to birth date. Appearance seems to be most astrologically influenced by Sun sign, Rising sign (1st house / Ascendant), and Moon, but also by concentrations of the same sign in inner planets such as Mercury, Mars, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn. Outer celestial bodies like Uranus, Neptune & Pluto, which are said to have generational significance rather than individual significance in most cases, due to their very slow (years long) rotations around the sun.

Correct me if I’m wrong but while the umbrella academy members were all born on the same date, they were born in different places and different time zones which means their charts are pretty different as far as which house each planet is in.

Like in the S3 promo pics we see them all carrying suitcases with different stickers that have city names on them that represent where they were born (Klaus has a Pennsylvania sticker and we find out he was born to an Amish Pennsylvanian woman)

We know Vanya was born in Moscow, Russia at noon and that they were all born at the same time so all you have to do to find their birth times is figure out what time it was in their birth place when it was noon in Russia. Unless it meant that they were all born at noon in their respective time zones or that it was noon UTC when they were born then…

Should look something like this

October 1st 1989

Luther: 10:00 AM Stockholm, Sweden

Diego: 3:00 AM Mexico City, Mexico

Allison: 11:00 AM Cape Town, South Africa

Klaus: 5:00 AM Harrisburg, Pennsylvania (all the others were capital cities so we are making assumptions)

Five: 10:00 AM Dublin, Ireland
