Have you ever done any commericals? I was thinking about what sort of work actors might turn down, and I remembered a scene in Friends where Joey does a chlamydia awareness ad. Do you think there are scores of actors out in the world who did a lot of embarassing work in their early career like that?

Yeah I've done commercials, sure :) They can be good fun, good practice too. Sometimes good money, depending on what it is. And yeah sure, loads of actors started out that way - Bruce Willis' old commercials are on YouTube I think? I'm sure there's some old Hugh Jackman ones too? And a lot of actors used to be models, so, that's commercials. Some actors still do commercials even after they "make it" - Kiefer Sutherland does those trading things, Kevin Bacon does some ads here in the UK for a mobile phone company I think? Natalie Portman and Emma Watson did some fragrance ads, I think Hunter Schafer just did a shoot for Prada? Elliot Page did a commercial for something, I can't remember what. It's just good to keep in practice and keep a consistent income, y'know.
