So.... that Catra and Micah headcanon huh?

@natcatsama made some real goooood headcanon about these two and honestly i’ve been hooked (they made some comics abt them to yall should check it out).

i wanted a different-ish take on it tho. I imagine that Hordak realizes Catra lied to him abt Entrapta and basically left Catra to die. so, catra, weak and hungry for food, passes out in the woods. then king kicah finds her.

they don’t know who the other person is. catra doesnt know who he is while micah doesnt what catra has done. still, king micah tries to take care of her. at first, it starts off as catra lashing out at him over and over, and king micah giving her space. but as time goes by, catra realizes he’s not like everyone else. she starts warming up to him and micah starts getting to know her bit by bit — no explicit details. just that she was part of the horde and she did NOT have a great time.

micah also learns about her anger problems. he doesn’t help her solve them; instead, he guides her to a healthier way of expressing her feelings. as time goes by, catra eventually forgets about the pain and anger in her heart. why would she focus on it when neither adora nor shadow weaver was there?

but... that’s the thing.... the best friends squad finds out that king micah might still be alive.... :)))

At my/my parent’s house

📺 what are you currently reading or watching?

Reading: I just finished Finale by Stephanie Garber, and I plan on starting Girls of Storm and Shadow soon.

Watching: Downton Abbey with my mom. It is surprisingly really good (I usually prefer either fantasy/sci-fi shows or animated shows.

🏝if you can go outside, what do you like to do during this time?

I go for walks with my family and play frisbee with my brother. Hopefully soon I’ll start kayaking and swimming!

📚any fascinating concept you’re studying?

I’m in the process of learning Gaeilge, or Irish. I’m taking online courses from Dublin City University and absolutely loving it!

🖼 what kind of acts of creativity/forms of art are you currently doing?

Writing fanfiction, drawing digitally (and a bit traditionally), making clothing designs on Animal Crossing ;)

🎵 a song that resonates with your state of mind at the moment?

Uuuhhhh hard to say. I’ll go with “Pan” by Nightwish, or any of their songs I’ve been listening to. Not so much for the lyrics, but for the feeling I get from the music

🚫 favorite impulsive “bad” coping mechanism?

Either impulse buying something I feel I deserve or deciding to spend a day doing nothing

✅ favorite good “healthy” coping mechanism?

At the moment, taking walks. I’m super active during the summer, but rarely during the winter, and it feels good to get outside on the nice days. In general, a coping mechanism that works really well for me is writing down something if it’s bothering me. Almost instantly makes me feel better and helps calm me down.
