What kind of brushes do you use for your digital art? Also, your artstyle is so unique, I love it so very much!!! How did you developed it (if you know lol)?

Brushes:

I use procreate for my main art program, and the brushes on there are just the default brushes, I use the Ink Bleed brush to do the majority of my colouring and the Derwent pencil for finer details like eyes and mouths. I also use the spraypaints Flick's for shadows which gives a sort of freckle effect which I just like to use for yeah, shadows.

Art Style:

Thank you so much for liking my art style. I developed it from really just looking at other artists like Steve Tompson (I think i spelled that wrong), Arealtrashact here on tumblr and a few others like nathsketch. I liked that arealtrashact didn't use lines and wanted to try that for myself when lines just weren't working for me so I just tried to see what they were doing with it. It didn't really work when I went for a more realistic style so I started looking at other features I liked from other artists like simpler faces and how they captured features. I still don't quite think I've gotten the hand of my art style yet, which is why I'm trying to do a lot of courses and study, but yeah, that's how it developed over the years. Basically, if you like someone's style, look at why you like it and see if you can apply it to your own work. It's not gonna come out a carbon copy, but over time you'll find something else you like and then something else and then they'll combine into this weird little style that you usually refer back to.

A bit belated, but it’s here. I decided to join XY WizardApril challenge. Although I made a little twist in it. I’ll use my HP OCs for this month.  Ah, I am so bad at shading, but still got the lineart so I can always remake it yaay! 

Nerina Belyal stood at one of the side-entrance of Hogwarts and couldn’t take a step forward. A tall, stern looking witch in front of her waited patiently, but even one has their limits. Her sharp eyes wandered from the anxious teen to the small travelling lights above the water in the distance. “Miss Belyal, you may stay here for the whole night if you want to, but the welcoming feats starts soon, and we would like to know which dorm should we bring your luggages. You can choose to either joining the first year pupils’ in the sorting ceremony, or following me to my office and do the sorting privately” she said grimly, then after a second glance at the youth she continued with a much warmer tone “I know tranfering schools is never easy for a young girl, especially if we take your circumstances in mind as well. But, I assure you that Hogwarts welcomes you with open arms.”
