Every year during Memorial Day weekend I venture out to one of our numerous nearby National Cemeteries to take a few photos and contemplate. It is always a humbling experience, no matter how many times I do it.
Tumblr media
So on this Memorial Day weekend enjoy the freedoms that we have. Sit back, relax, grill a few steaks, and watch the Indy 500.

But, just for a few moments please think about the hundreds of thousands of men and women that gave their lives to protect those freedoms. It’s the least we can do.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

He’ll have to be cremated. Any gravesite for someone this unpopular would be desecrated over and over for all eternity. Plus he’s a f—king traitor.

"Robert E. Lee was could not return to his estate in Arlington, Virginia, because it was in the middle of a national cemetery, overlooking the graves of thousands of union soldiers. "Lee and his family instead moved to Lexington, Virginia, where he became the president of Washington College. ...In 1865, Lee signed an amnesty oath, asking once again to become a citizen of the United States. He did so as an active encouragement for confederate soldiers to rejoin the United States." [Source: PBS History Detectives]

At Cold Harbor National Cemetery, The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, built in 1877, is a 5-foot high marble sarcophagus that commemorates 889 unknown Union dead who were buried in nearby trench graves located on the battlefields of Mechanicsville, Savage-Station, and Gaines Mills.

this was literally the only question i was curious about, thanks for asking that for me paimon
like fontainain people married other nationalities yeah?? how did they have kids if they were oceanids.. anddd umm if they could fuck normal humans wouldn’t that make the oceanid in springvale falling in love with a boy from mond a bit problematic lol especially since it’s no longer a fairytale but an actual thing that happened and we witnessed it last patch??
so it’s not the case and new oceanids are just turned into humans but wait!! so celestia allows that?? it keeps constantly happening but they’re not stopping it.. ok sure but also
i wonder how many generations of fontaine people will it take for them to realize that they have to sexually mate to create children now
