"eyes forward, pretty girl," he leaned over to whisper in your ear, the warmth of his breath causing heat to rise to your cheeks, your teeth gnawing at the plump flesh of your bottom lip. "keep 'em legs wide open and just relax, baby." his warm hand slipped beneath the fabric of your skirt, calloused finger tips brushing against the lace edges of your underwear.
it was inappropriate— to fuck in a movie theatre was scandalous, definitely against the law and could get you in major trouble if you two were caught. but something about the risk made you grow wetter, adrenaline coursing through your veins as he rubbed at the wet spot forming on your crotch. you tugged the thin blanket a little further up onto your shoulders, providing the perfect barrier to shield your activities from the rest of the theatre patrons.
"if you keep squirming like that, sweetheart, someone's gonna notice," he purred into your ear, a ghost of a lick left on your earlobe as he nudged your underwear to the side. "don't think you want that, do you? or, maybe you do… you want someone to catch us, huh? want someone to see how pathetic and desperate you get for your boyfriend's fingers?"
you shook your head in disagreement, lying to not only him but yourself. struggling to control your breathing pattern as he rubbed tight circles and squares around your clit. your legs twitched, foot tapping against the floor as you fixated your gaze on the movie playing rather than the familiar sweet stretch of your walls engulfing your boyfriend's thick digit.
"breathe f'me, sweetness, don't want you to pass out," he chuckled, curling his finger into your squishy walls. the filthy squelching noises of your sopping cunt were overshadowed by the movie's well-timed soundtrack clips and action sequences. "such a good girl f'me— fuckin' pussy's gushin’ all around me. you like this, don't you? love it when i use you like the slut you are?"
you rested your head on his shoulder, choking down the pathetic moans and whimpers that threatened to escape your lips. he slipped another finger into you and then another, plowing three fingers deeper and deeper inside you— stretching you out beyond your usual limit. you were growing delirious, hips bucking up relentlessly to chase the sweet release building at the pit of your stomach.
"gonna cum f'me, pretty girl? can feel your walls startin' t' milk my fingers," he pressed a kiss to the top of your head, hooking his fingers into your sensitive g-spot. the heel of his palm dug into your clit, each rut of his fingers into you stimulating your sensitive nub. "that's it, baby, fuck yourself on my fingers— fuckin' cum around my fingers."
black spots flashed across your eyes, your orgasm almost completely blinding you. your hips stuttered, body convulsing in the cushions of the theatre seat— there certainly would be a wet patch on the seat after the movie was done.
"such a good girl, you did so good f'me," his voice was distant, your head practically in the clouds as he retracted his fingers from deep inside you. he brought his fingers up to your lips, the lights of the movie causing his fingers to glimmer with the clear sheen of your release. "now open that pretty mouth and clean my fingers f'me— that's it, be a good girl and suck. maybe i'll give you some dick in the parking lot as a treat later."

touya, natsuo, and shoto todoroki x f!reader kinktober countdown day four, (foursomes)
Tumblr media
synopsis: "...the air is sucked out of the room, and you’re frozen in place as they move above you, forming a beast overhead, one with a sneering maw, frigid hands and a piercing gaze."
wc: 4k
cw: a dabi-less au, but touya is still a lil fucked up, fem + afab!reader, drunk sex, threats of violence/harm, anal play, fingering, dubcon, foursomes, creampie, oral (m + f receiving), praise, pet names (honey, baby), hair pulling, light choking, degradation, finger-sucking, a little bit of powerplay / dom sub undertones, mdni.
author's note: a fic that didn't make it in time for kinktober last year, finally finished. this originally started as a natsuo fic, but the other boys wanted to play too. (everyone is 20+)
Tumblr media
It sounds like someone’s humming, jovially, quietly, when you stir to consciousness, the alcohol in your system thrumming through your veins, loosening your limbs, making it near impossible to guess the hour. The curtains are drawn in the room, the lights low, leaving the room just bright enough to make out the figure above you. Then, the figure seems to split in three.
“I can't believe you got me to do this with you, and I can't believe you dragged Shouto into it too."
A derisive sounding scoff bounces off the walls, and the bed you're lying on sinks with the weight of someone sitting on it. The voice speaking is so familiar. You know you could place it if the world would just stop spinning so quickly.
“C’mon, you saw the way she flirted with us. She’ll love it. I promise.” Another voice stage whispers. A hand brushes your cheek and you follow it, nestling your face into the calloused palm, opening your mouth when a finger presses against your lips, letting the digit settle on your tongue.
“Cute.” The first voice sighs, and it’s too far away to be whoever is touching you, the person who pushes their thumb (you’re sure of it now) deeper into your mouth.
“Good morning sunshine.” Touya Todoroki smiles down at you, all big hands and white teeth and cerulean eyes that meet yours when you finally rouse from half-consciousness. Your face warms in embarrassment, and you draw back, Touya’s thumb withdrawing from your mouth and leaving it woefully, humiliatingly empty.
Your voice is high and tight in your throat when you finally speak, after your eyes have adjusted to the low light of the room. "Ah. Good morning?" You respond, apprehensive and more than a little startled. When you realize exactly who else is in the room with you, the last few hours of the night flood your mind in an instant.
Arriving at the Todoroki Estate for Shouto’s birthday party, drinking a ridiculous amount of tequila with Mina and Momo, grinding against Bakugo until he had to excuse himself to the bathroom, sidling up to Natsuo and Touya in their little “older brother corner”, pressing your hand to each of their abdomens and giggling before prattling on and on about the “family resemblance” and mumbling something about wanting to see if all Todoroki men had “super huge feet”.
You distinctly remember Touya’s knife-sharp smirk when he grabbed you by the chin and murmured to you, “Ask what you really want to ask, honey.”
You also remember whimpering before blacking out right in front of them, crumpling to the floor.
Jesus, that’s embarrassing. Pretty quickly you reason that they must’ve carried you upstairs, and you couldn’t have been out that long, because you can still hear the party raging on downstairs. Your friends are most likely getting drunk in your absence, assured of your safety stashed away.
“I didn’t mean to pass out like that. I just…” You drift off, peeking at the eldest Todoroki through your eyelashes.
“It's fiiiiine." Touya stretches out the word like a seedy car salesman, giving your eyes time to skip from him to Natsuo by his side, to Shouto, who's leaning against the far bedroom wall. "You know Natsuo wanted to keep you all for himself, wanted to lock you up and knock you up.” Touya laughs at his own joke, elbowing Natsuo in the side and receiving a scowl for his troubles.
"But I convinced him it’s only right to share, after all, he wasn't the one who saw you first."
You hear Natsuo mumble something that sounds suspiciously like "neither did you" before he crowds into your vision too. His face up close is a marvel. Steel gray eyes, clear skin and perfect white teeth.
"Is your head alright?" His fingers lightly graze the back of your head and it takes everything within you to not shiver at his proximity.
"Haven't had any complaints." You hiccup your response without missing a beat.
You are definitely still intoxicated.
Natsuo looks concerned while Touya laughs at your expense. Shouto stays blissfully quiet. And though it’s one of your favourite traits of his, it seems it’s short lived. He pushes off the wall and stands at the foot of bed, bringing all three men into your field of vision for the first time.
“Maybe we should wait. At least until we’re sure she doesn’t have a concussion.” the youngest Todoroki looks you over in concern, his face still typically placid.
You sit at attention, head swimming at the sudden shift in your position.
“Wait for what?”
“For us to give you what you asked for.” Touya intones, brows almost reaching his hairline.
Your palms sweat and your heart thumps in your chest, so loud you worry it can be heard over the pounding bass downstairs.
“I don’t wanna wait.” You mumble it so low you can almost convince yourself you didn’t say it. Like the words appeared out of nowhere, spoken by a stupid, reckless, horny spectre.
Four words.
But apparently, that’s all it takes. The air is sucked out of the room, and you’re frozen in place as they move above you, forming a beast overhead, one with a sneering maw, frigid hands and a piercing gaze.
Natsuo is the first to kiss you, and his skin is so cool, you're surprised you can't see your own breath when you pant a sigh against his lips. His kiss is slow and building, constant, consistent pressure that only stops when he pulls back to stare at your dazed expression. Touya is next, shouldering Natsuo out of the way, his hard on is urgent and searing against your stomach when he plasters himself to your front. Touya crushes his mouth against yours, impatient and searching. If Natsuo is a glacier then Touya is a goddamn wildfire, hot and fast and vicious, all teeth and branding tongue.
Your dress was pretty much non-existent to begin with, strappy black fabric and gold buckles. Natsuo and Touya's hands make quick work of the cloth, stripping you down to your underwear, clothing tossed haphazardly to the ground, discarded, unneeded.
"Are you just going to stand there, Shouto? Because if you wanna watch, that's fine. I just figure our girl here needs as much attention as she can get.” Touya calls over his shoulder, pulling your underwear down your legs. He drops the panties at his brother’s feet while Natsuo circles around you, situating himself behind you so you're reclined between his spread legs, your back resting against his chest instead of the headboard. His fingertips graze a trail in-between your shoulder blades, unhooking your bra, clasp by clasp, pressing a barely there kiss into the middle of your back. You smile at the tenderness of the action even as your brain struggles to catch up with what’s happening.
The moment doesn’t escape Touya’s attention.
There’s an indent between his eyebrows, betraying his irritation.
“Y’know,” He simpers, settling on the bed in front of you, leering, “I feel like my handprint would look so good,” The eldest brother places his open palm over one of your hips, “right here, permanently. It’d only hurt for a minute” You choke on your answer, but it’s not really a question to begin with. His palm heats on your skin and you scramble back further into Natsuo’s chest, letting him wrap his arms around you,
“Touya, don’t be an asshole.” Natsuo bites, his tone acidic, “You’re scaring her.”
“Then why don't you take charge for a bit, little brother?” Over your head, Touya meets his brother’s eyes, his challenge clear.
You can feel Natsuo bristle behind you, his hackles rising at Touya's goading.
"Fine. Touya, why don't you shut the fuck up and tongue her tits for a while?”
The corner of Touya’s lips curl up, before he descends on you as ordered, mouth nibbling, sucking and kissing at the skin of your chest. The piercings decorating the shell of his ears glint back the light from the lone illuminated lamp in the room, blinding you momentarily before Natsuo angles your head upwards, covering your mouth with his own.
He traces the seam of your lips with his tongue, groaning when you open up for him, the cool surface of his palm tightening around your throat. Your nipples pebble under Touya’s attention, he uses his teeth more than anything else, biting and scraping and only soothing the pain when you cry out when it gets to be too much.
“Fuck,” and Natsuo’s voice is already so wrung out despite you barely having done anything, “you like when he hurts you?” He whispers, rubbing his thumb over your cheek repeatedly, a perfect contrast to Touya’s canines on your skin. You nod frantically, letting the second oldest sink his teeth into your bottom lip, then soothe the pain with the tip of his tongue.
Shouto crouches at the foot of the bed, watching his brothers touch you with hooded eyes. “I would’ve done this months ago. If you’d just asked me. But you’re greedy aren't you? I wouldn’t have been enough. You wanted them to fuck you too. Didn’t you?” His eyes never stray from your cunt, his voice is pitched low and so, so quiet, it’s almost as if he’s speaking to himself. You stare at Shouto, jaw dropped in shock at the filth pouring from his mouth, and when he finally drags his eyes from your pussy, it takes only a second for him to shove Touya out of the way and kneel between your thighs.
“I-I.” You stumble over your words, the lingering haze of alcohol weighing your tongue down in your mouth, making you clumsy, needy. You give up on speaking coherently, deciding to just shift lower, spread your thighs further, so Shouto can situate himself in between. He places a hand over your thigh, digging his thumb into the underside, crowding so close you can feel the puff of his breaths against your pussy.
“I won’t touch you until you tell me the truth.” He mutters, and you aren’t sure if he’s telling you or reminding himself. Even with Natsuo behind you, away from view, you know they’re all staring at you, you know they’re all waiting.
And it’s mortifying.
You bob your head in the affirmative, hoping it’ll be enough.
“Say it.” Touya urges, his hand on Shouto’s shoulder, finger digging into the fabric of his brother’s shirt.
The words stick in your throat at first, like your tongue is sitting in your mouth wrong, blocking the admission. “I-I wanted all of you.” Touya whistles saucily, Natsuo smiles into the crown of your head, and Shouto sighs, then he gives in.
“What a slut.” There’s so much blood rushing in your ears you almost miss Touya saying it. Instead, you opt to focus on Natsuo sinking his fingers into your mouth, covering your tongue with the rough, cold surface of his digits.
“Our slut.” Shouto corrects immediately and his tone is so insanely earnest you hiccup a laugh, even with your lips stretched around two of Natsuo’s fingers.
Shouto makes good on his promise immediately, his hand sliding between your legs, palm covering your pussy gently before his calloused fingertips move in a silky slide down your wet folds. Your body breaks out in goosebumps, all while Shouto eases two fingers in and out of you, deceptively quiet, letting the room fill with the sounds of you creaming against his hand. Your breath flees as his fingers thrust just inside your slick heat, teasing you with soft friction. You try so hard to stop yourself from holding your breath, periodically remembering how to inhale.
Your thigh is almost uncomfortably warm where Touya’s head lies, cheek pressed to bare skin. He groans happily as he watches his youngest brother’s fingers disappear into the dripping, tight clutch of your cunt.
“Right.” He murmurs, sinking his teeth into the plush flesh below him. “Ours.”
Shouto drops his head to lave at your clit in sweet, probing circles, making your toes curl and your hips twitch. It’s all you can do to not rip his hair from his head when your hands fist in his red and white locks. Natsuo tugs at the tips of your chest, rolling your already hypersensitive nipples between his fingers. It’s mind altering, how badly you want to come from this, your skin is covered in a fine layer of sweat and you jerk and buck against Touya keeping you held down. It feels as though Shouto is doing everything in his power to keep you lingering right on the edge, balancing the rapidly tying knot in your stomach with your desire to have this go on forever.
“As fun as this is to watch, I’m getting a little impatient here.” You watch as Touya palms himself through his jeans, undoing the fly when he realizes he has your attention again.
“We agreed I’d go first.” Natsuo grunts from behind you and Touya's eyes turn flinty in response but his stare never leaves yours, even as he talks down to his brother.
“Well I’m the oldest, dipshit.”
Natsuo continues groping at your chest until you break eye contact with the eldest Todoroki. Your head hangs down, getting an eyeful of Shouto pulling away, licking the taste of you from his lips. You open your mouth, to thank him? To cuss him out for stopping? You just don’t know and ultimately it doesn't even matter because before you can say anything, Natsuo sinks his teeth into the nape of your neck, biting down so hard he almost breaks skin.
“Fine.” He concedes, and Shouto wordlessly pulls away from you, eyes downcast and disappointed, like he can’t bear to part his mouth from your cunt. You bear down around nothing while Touya replaces Shouto, tapping the already hard tip of his dick against the puffy lips of your pussy. You buck your hips, silently begging him to get on with it, hoping to provoke Touya into action.
“Should I hold her open, little brother? I wouldn’t want either of you to miss me breaking her in.” He slides his thumbs up the lips of your entrance, keeping you exposed while Natsuo grinds the hard column of his cock against the small of your back. The shine in the eldest’s eyes is borderline scary, his gaze strips all artifice, any blustering confidence. Under Touya’s stare it’s not just your body that’s naked, it’s your fucking soul.
God, you’re really drunk.
Touya fists the root of his dick, slipping the angry red tip over your clit, once, twice, teasing you until you tilt your hips, wordlessly pleading with him again to push inside you. Finally, Touya concedes, shoving himself deep all at once, letting the girth of his cock spread you open. You cunt drips its contentment all over his pelvis, the sound of your hips colliding with his almost drowning out your fevered, breathless pleas.
He presses both hands to your shoulders, pushing you impossibly closer to Natsuo, making it absurdly difficult for you to squirm away.
The way Touya fucks you takes you by surprise. He’s slow, maliciously so. The heavy weight of his dick carves into you inch by inch, like he wants you to go insane. It isn't until he’s halfway in that you realize Touya has a piercing, several actually, concealed by the angle he’d had from above. What feels like six stainless steel orbs bracket the underside of his cock, three on each side. They’re not massive, thank god, so the sensation is barely perceptible at first, but once he’s finally all the way in, his hips flush with yours, the metal nudges and presses against the spongy spot inside you that makes you see stars. You dig your fingernails into his shoulder and when he smirks at you, you struggle to not bite the motherfucker. It’s clear he takes pride in the overwhelmed and impatient expression on your face, keeping his predatory glare on you while he grinds in deeper, not stopping until your eyes turn skyward.
He barely thrusts in and out, opting instead to pick and prod at your already pathetic mental fortitude by crushing his front to yours, bullying your insides with the head of his cock while you shriek and hum and sob with the overwhelming pleasure he brings you. He presses a flat palm to your abdomen, pushing down hard and greedily rubbing his pelvis against yours; “Fuck, you really are something. Natsu, pull on her tits again, bet she gets so goddamn tight.” Natsuo follows the instruction, tugging mercilessly, coercing you into arching your back. Touya takes advantage and slides his free hand under your ass before you can bring your hips back down again. Two fingers rub boldly at the entrance below your pussy, and you flinch violently when Touya pushes against you. You shake your head, hissing from the beginning aches of a forced intrusion and Natsuo and Shouto bite in unison; “Knock it off!”
Touya, to his credit, merely rolls his eyes and moves his hand lower, rubbing at your perineum in slow purposeful circles that occasionally allow the pad of his fingers to catch the rim of your asshole. You squirm beneath him until he starts fucking into you again, piercings, now warmed by your body heat, brushing what feels like every nerve ending you’ve ever had. Touya watches you bounce on his cock, all while you lay in his brother’s arms, thrashing when the feeling gets to be too much. Your cunt pulses around him, milking an orgasm out of him before he can warn you.
Not that you think he would to begin with.
“Fuck. Fuck. That’s it, squeeze down on me, baby.” He jolts forward, and the sound of his pelvis hitting yours is punctuated by the long drawn out groan of Touya being spent. You kick your leg out in frustration when he pulls out, whining low and watery in your throat at not getting to come again. All Touya does in response is lay a quick open-palm slap at your thigh, wink at you and smile, pleased, you assume, to have gotten a nut off before anyone else.
Mission accomplished you guess.
Shouto shoves his brother aside, and you could cry to God with how happy you are to see him between your thighs again. When the youngest brother seals his mouth around one of your nipples, sucking in long, desperate pulls, it feels almost vindictive. Like he’s punishing you for enjoying yourself, for enjoying how his brothers touch you, fuck you. Occasionally, his tongue flicks against it, pressing the peak against the ridge of his teeth, all while he grazes his rough fingertips against your inner thighs. His cheeks are flushed and he’s panting, honest to god out of breath at the sight of you, pussy puffy and used, hazy eyes heavily lidded, mouth slick and parted around gentle, quiet sighs in the shape of his name. He thumbs at the lips of your cunt, pulling you open, spreading you so he can see everything, watching you clench around nothing, watching you leak Touya’s come onto the bed sheets. “So needy.” he mumbles, and you both hang there, just for a second, while Shouto stares, consumes.
And then...he’s on you.
He isn't as big as Touya, but dear god does he make up for it in enthusiasm. So unlike the teasing, drawn out grinding and half strokes of his older brother, Shouto ruts against you like your pussy is the only thing keeping him alive.
The black t-shirt Shouto wears makes his shoulders seem even broader than before, his frame looms above you, arms heaving up and pushing back the weight of your thighs, until Natsuo helps by holding them up too, until you're very nearly bent in half for them. your toes are curled and bounce with every thrust he completes against you. The slow, thick drip of his brother’s cum leaks from your cunt, where the greedy pace of his thrusts disturbs it, sliding down the plush curve of your ass before dripping down into an obscene puddle below you.
The easy glide is perfect, nudging over and over at the rough spot deep within you. The tip of his cock knocks repeatedly against your insides and the sensation disables any and all coherent thought.
You choke on your spit as he fucks into you, gripping the bedsheets so hard you swear you can hear them tear in protest. Your core protests at the strain but you manage it, keeping your legs steady while they bracket the youngest Todoroki’s ears. Shouto tugs you further down the mattress, forcing you to slide down Natsuo’s front, and when your cheek makes contact with the middle brother’s hard-on, you place wet, open mouth kisses on his fly. Natsuo takes a fistful of your hair and tugs, separating you from his cock, brutally. You keen in pain, but Shouto’s dick distracts you from the worst of it, tunnelling inside you and striking that spongy spot that makes your vision go blinding white. Natsuo fishes his cock out frantically, as though he’s been waiting for your go-ahead, which is...sweet. Rather, it would be if he hadn’t agreed to debase you with his brothers while you were still heavily intoxicated. The younger, white haired brother releases you only when he’s completely free of the confines of his jeans, and smacks the length of his cock against your mouth, rubbing the shaft over your tongue when you present it to him for use. Natsuo is thick, thicker than both his brothers. His dick is mouthwatering, straining and red and threaded with angry looking veins you are desperate to taste. He won’t let you take it all though, will only let you kiss and mouth at it while he jerks himself off. Guides you to suck on his balls and stare into his eyes while Shouto fucks you harder, bringing his thumb to the hood of your clit and rubbing with intention. He must’ve been at his limit, because of the three of you, Natsuo comes first with a pleasured grunt, jerking his hips and covering his hand and the side of your face with his come. And though you know logically that it’s impossible, you had kind of expected his nut to be...cold.
Hands trembling, the middle brother returns his attention to your chest, smearing his spend over your nipples, pinching at them in time with the swipes of Shouto’s thumb.
You finally get to come, waves of it hitting you and dragging you undertow, smacking into your body so hard you give yourself a burgeoning headache from clenching your jaw. Your body spasms, over and over and Shouto fucks you through it all, eventually adding his own seed to the mess between your thighs.
At least you think he did. It’s hard to distinguish what happens around the time you pass out from the fucked up cocktail of exhaustion, intoxication and the sedating power of the best dick you’ve ever had.
When you surface some time later, Touya is gone. “Fucked off somewhere,” Natsuo provides when you ask and...well you aren’t sure if it’s a relief or a disappointment.
Best not to think about it.
Shouto is there though, gliding a warm, damp towel over your heated skin, while Natsuo, who it seems, hasn’t moved from behind you, presses soft kisses to the crown of your head, your cheeks, your throat. He plays with the gold hoop earrings you're still wearing, rubbing your earlobes, and tugging on the jewellery every so often.
“How was it?” Natsuo asks, his voice quiet and soothing, and despite having just woken up, you could see yourself succumbing to its gentle tone and slipping into sleep once again.
“Good,” you respond, murmuring quietly. Shouto finishes cleaning you off, tossing the towel into a nearby hamper. “Really good.”
Natsuo chuckles, and his breath huffs over your ear.
“Good.” He tightens his arms around your middle.
“Good.” Shouto nods, sitting at the foot of the bed.
“Good.” You repeat.

are there still beautiful things? || natsuo todoroki x reader
Tumblr media
synopsis/content warnings: natsuo finds himself coming back to you in times of need. after all, you’ve been doing it for over a decade. (childhood friends to lovers, hurt/comfort, domestic love, SMUT; heavy dirty talking, unprotected sex, breeding kink if you squint, natsuo is a bit posessive lol, yan!natsuo during dirty talk, idiots in love, not beta read we die like men)
wc: 3k
author's note: i wrote this as a gift for my dear friend @strawberrystepmom ! thank you so much for inspiring me, talking to me and being there for me. i wanted to show you that i really appreciated you :) <3 hope u like it
Natsuo has a habit.
Such a habit consists of knocking at your door, usually late at night – desperate, big eyes begging for help. He’s been doing it for years, ever since he was merely a lost kid. This time, his head is down and he won’t seem to fully look into your eyes.
“I didn’t know where else to go.” Todoroki breaks the silence, shaky voice leaving his chest with force.
Truth be told, you knew he’d show up at your small apartment as soon as the news broke, as soon as you saw the scarred man on the television proclaiming to be one of the Todorokis.
Touya.
You let him in – of course you do. There’s nothing in the world that would stop you from letting Natsuo in your home, and in your heart.
“Is it true?”
Your question seems to cut the tension in the air, as a knife ripping the thickness apart. Context isn’t needed: the white haired boy – man – is still staring at the coffee mug you handed him moments earlier. You’re past the point of asking how he likes his coffee, black and no sugar, thank you very much.
“No. Yes.” He finally looks up at you, dark gray eyes looking for an answer. “I… I have no idea.”
There’s silence once more - only this time, it isn’t thick with tension. It’s still heavy, with a hint of sadness. There’s only so much to be said about a dead brother coming back to life, and becoming evil. Still, you’ve known Natsuo long enough to know what he’s thinking.
“Touya was dead.”
You uncross your arms, taking your mug from the coffee table in front you. The coffee was running cold already.
Natsuo is still staring at you. You can’t help but notice there’s a certain resemblance between him and his father – his nose and eyes belong to his mother, yes, but the rest? It 's all Enji.
You can’t imagine how he feels.
“Natsuo…” You whisper his name, placing a gentle palm over his hand. “I don’t know what to say.”
He nods, recognizing your truthness. He sighs – a tired one, and exhausted one.
“I don’t think there’s a lot to be said.” His confession lifts a weight from your chest, and you’re glad you didn’t close your fist around something so delicate. “Just… I don’t wanna go home.”
It’s your turn to nod, knowing exactly what he means.
-
The first time Natsuo showed up at your door, you were merely kids.
Your mother answered. immediately recognizing him as one of the Todorokis that lived down the street. Years later, she would tell you the truth: his household was hell on earth. But, again, it wouldn’t take the brightest mind to notice that.
You were both seven. Or he was eight, maybe. You don’t remember all the details.
However, you do remember the dynamic: he’d come knocking at your door whenever things got rough at home. Your mom would feed him, you’d play video games together, and he’d get a chance at a normal life – even if only for a few hours.
“Do you wanna play pirates?” You’d ask, a toothless grin plastered on your face.
Natsuo would smile – as big as he knew how to.
“Yeah.”
-
Needless to say, you didn’t have to show him the guest room. He knows his way around.
You lean against the door frame as he takes his jacket off, throwing it on the chair besides the bed. He doesn’t look out of place, strangely so. The 6’3 man doesn’t look uncomfortable. As a matter of fact, you’ve never seen him look so at home before.
“Want me to order take out?” He asks, fishing his phone out of his backpack.
“Only if you’re craving something. Was thinking we’d cook something simple.”
He frowns, gray eyebrows knitting together.
“If you think I’m staying at your place and let you cook for me, you’re out of your mind.”
“Technically,” You hold a finger up, getting closer to him. “It’s for us.”
He scoffs, mainly in amusement.
“Absolutely not. My mother would have my head at the sheer disrespect.”
You chuckle, although not missing the shadow that crosses his eyes at the mention of his mother.
“Fine. Whatever makes you happy.”
-
“How come I’ve known you for almost 15 years and you still suck at Mario Kart?” He asks, in pure disbelief at your 8th position.
“It’s hard!” You cry, failing at avoiding another green turtle shell an NPC threw in your direction. The pink car stumbles once again. Peach has always sucked, anyway.
Natsuo finishes the race in first place, as you see Yoshi celebrate on the top of the screen
“You suck.” He adds, chugging at his can of diet coke and giving you a smirk.
You have to actively avoid acknowledging the butterflies rebelling in your stomach.
“And you’re mean.”
There’s a hint of playfulness in your tone. He takes the controller from your hand, getting closer to you. He’s so big and warm… so inviting.
“Cry about it.”
Despite the mocking, he finishes the race for you.
-
The first person to defend you from monsters was Natsuo.
Well, not actual monsters – more like shitty 5th grade bullies.
The whole playground saw it. An older kid – although the same size as Natsuo – tried to steal one of your toys. The white haired boy puffed his chest, and displayed the meanest face he could. Much like his dad.
“Give it back!” You screamed at the older kid.
Natsuo, however, didn’t ask. no, he punched the kid. Right in the stomach.
You remember gasping in surprise, but gladly taking your toy back. No one’s ever messed with you again.
It’s only fair you do the same to him every now and then.
-
“It’s getting late.” You notice, turning the television off.
“Yeah.” Natsuo gets up from your worn out sofa, towering over you. “I’m heading to bed.”
“Need an extra blanket or something?”
“Nah, I’m good.” He walks towards the bedroom door, turning on his heels halfway there.
“Uh… thanks for letting me stay, by the way. Really means a lot.”
You smile at him. He smiles back.
“Anytime, Natsuo. Knock on my door if you need anything.”
He nods, excusing himself.
-
Unsurprisingly, Todoroki knocks on your bedroom door a little after one in the morning.
“Natsuo?” You whisper, sitting up in your bed, still hazy from sleep.
“I’m so sorry.” He whispers from the half-opened door, an apologetic look on his face. “Couldn’t sleep.”
“Come in.”
He does, gently closing the door after him.
-
You barely notice the routine established by you and Natsuo.
It’s been a few days since he first came to your place. He didn’t leave – and it’s now like you wanted him too. Having him around is nice. Better than nice. You don’t wanna name what you’re currently feeling.
“I’m home!” He announces loudly, and you almost jump from your spot at the table. Your eyes scan him up and down.
“Natsuo, what’s all this?” You ask, a hint of curiosity in your voice.
He lets the paper bags on top of the counter, sighing happily at the sight.
“Went grocery shopping after visiting my dad at the hospital.”
Your shock doesn’t seem to go unnoticed by him, although he doesn’t seem to be in the mood to acknowledge it. Your eyes drift back to the laptop in front of you.
“Nice.” It’s all you can come up with.
“Got you your favorite chocolate, by the way.”
-
It’s been two weeks, and Natsuo doesn’t stay in the guest room anymore.
No, he stays with you. His giant figure can’t possibly be comfortable in your not-so-large bed, but you don’t have the heart to inquire about that.
“G’night.” He mumbles, curling up beside you.
“Night, Natsuo.” You whisper back, your words getting softly lost in the darkness.
Natsuo smells like mint and something fiery. It’s fresh, it screams his name. His white locks gently frame his face, looking like a layer of now. His lips seem soft, plushy and pink.
Natsuo is sleeping right beside you when you finally name what’s going on with the two of you, although only for you to know.
It’s love.
Sleepingly, he wraps an arm around you. Despite such surprise, you nuzzle your face in his chest.
You both sleep the whole night, peacefully – for the first time in a while.
-
There’s only so much he can hide from Fuyumi, he thinks.
“Did you officially move out?” His sister shows up in his room – his actual room, at the Todoroki household – as he’s packing another bag. The white room seems empty, soulless.
Natsuo is taken by surprise. Of course, it didn’t seem like that to him.
“Uh…” He scratches the back of his neck, avoiding all eye contact. Fuyumi’s eyes look for his, behind thick glasses. She leans against the doorframe.
“Are you staying at ____’s?”
He nods.
“Good. It’s good to at least know you’re safe.”
Natsuo blushes at his sister’s words, warmth blooming on his cheeks.
“Tell her I said hi.”
With that, Fuyumi leaves him alone.
-
At the dinner table – with food that isn’t take out, cooked by the both of you – Natsuo gets himself looking at you.
Your eyes glistening and your hands moving rapidly as you talk about your day.
His heart swells on his chest when you start speaking about something you love – something related to work, something he can’t quite understand.
Natsuo realizes he loves you and almost chokes on homemade soba.
-
That night, when you start your bedtime routine, Natsuo breaks the silence.
“I…” He starts to speak, and you look at him through his reflection in the bathroom mirror, applying nighttime moisturizer on your face, in gentle circles.
“Yeah?” You encourage him to actually start speaking, moving your hands like a fan in order to dry the products on your skin.
“I love you, _____.”
You turn around, like a deer caught in headlights.
“Natsuo…” you say his name, like a thousand times before, only this time it feels different.
“I do. Always have, I think. Ever since we were kids. I love you.” He completes, taking a strand of hair from your face. You look at him, incredulous. “I’m not asking for you to love me back, by the way. I just wanted to let you know that I do.”
He’s comfortable with just loving you.
The words seem to come back to you at such an insult.
“I’m in love with you too, idiot.”
He seems shocked at such revelation, and a stubborn smile starts to blossom on his lips. His eyes seem different now.
“You do?”
“Natsuo.” You whisper his name again. “I’ve loved you ever since you asked if I wanted to play pirates.”
He bites his lips, grabbing your waist gently.
“Yeah? What about all the boyfriends? All the other crushes?”
You figure what the hint in his irises mean.
Possessiveness.
Natsuo towers over you, and it makes your stomach do flips. You mumble something, and he brings you closer.
“Sorry, couldn’t hear that.”
“Was trying to distract myself. From you.”
He smirks, gray eyes becoming wolf like.
“Yeah, but I’m here now. And if you think I’m letting you go, you’re fucking insane.”
Your lips crash into his; desire traveling through your veins.Your tongues dance against each other, slowly and curious to taste each other. Your breath hitches in your throat as he bites your lower lip, sensually.
“Bedroom?” You whisper against his lips, in between pecs. He nods, smiling against your lips.
-
Natsuo’s shirt and your pajama bottoms get discarded somewhere from the bathroom to your bed.
Your nails gently scratch his abs, earning a reaction from him. His hips jerk against yours, and you bite back a moan. He looks at you adoringly, passionately. Your heart explodes in fireworks. All the movies and poems, books and songs about love make sense now.
“So pretty.” He mumbles against your neck, placing open mouthed kisses on your sensitive skin.
Natsuo takes his shirt off while your hands discover his body, reaching his gray sweatpants. The volume behind the soft fabric makes you smile, devilishly so.You gently grab his erection, playing with him a little, in order to discover more of his pretty sounds.
He groans, grinding his hips against you.
“You’re evil. You’re gonna be the death of me.”
Whatever leverage you thought you had is gone once he takes his bottoms off, as his dick gloriously stands against his abdomen, with heavy balls hanging below it. Your mouth slightly falls agape at his thickness as he gently strokes his cock.
Natsuo finally removes your panties, slowly. He’s taking his sweet time with you, despite your constant squirming and whines.
“You know,” He whispers, husky voice sending a shot of desire right to your core. “when we graduated high school and you told me you lost your V card to some jackass, I tried my best not to go after the bastard. After all, it wasn’t my right to.”
His fingers ghost over your now exposed pussy, feeling your sticky wetness.
“And before that, you confessed to me how you’d use the showerhead to finish, cause your fingers couldn’t do it. They’re not thick or long enough. Can’t reach all the right places, right?”
You nod, eating his words up. Slowly, your hips start to move against his hand, but Natsuo seems to not be having any of that. He places a strong hand on your waist, holding you down. He doesn’t need words to make you obey him.
“I wonder if mine can?” He asks, pushing a single finger inside of your gummy walls. Whining, you throw your head back due to his unsatisfactory rhythm. He pushes the digit in and out, curving his finger a bit.
“What, baby?” He purrs, swallowing your moans with open-mouthed kisses. “What d’you want?”
A bubble of warmth starts to bloom on your lower abdomen, sending a white-hot feeling through your entire body. There’s sweat, there’s spit, there's desire. You feel like your body might combust at any given moment.
“More, please. Need more.” You manage to babble, eyes getting glossy over the neediness.
He obliges your wishes, shoving another finger into your needy cunt.
“Fuck baby, yo’ure so fucking sexy. ‘ve been dreaming about this for so long.” He confesses, shortly after sucking a love bite on your collarbone.
Your eyes roll into the back of your head, feeling your pussy clench on his thick fingers. Right as you feel the tension start to explode inside of you, he removes his digits.
“Natsuo!” You cry, in a needy way. “C’mon, please.”
You’re not even sure what you’re asking for anymore. He smiles at you, sickeningly sweet. His white hair glues against his forehead, messy silver locks. Natsuo’s face is flushed with desire, a light shade of pink decorating his cheeks.
“Want my cock, baby? Huh? Want this as much as I do?” His clean fingers gently hold your jaw open, as he places the stained ones on your mouth. You suck on them, tasting yourself and making such dirty sounds that make him grunt.
“Yes, please. Want your cock inside me. Want you to fuck me, Natsuo” You beg, mumbling through his fingers. “Make me yours.”
The last words seem to fire a light inside of him, as he smiles at you wolfishly. Natsuo grabs his erection, teasing the tip on your wet entrance. You give him a fucked out smile, softly moaning at his actions.
“You’re such a tease, _____. I’ve been fantasizing about your sweet, tight pussy forever.” He groans, finally pushing his fat cock inside of you. It stretches you in the most delicious way, hitting spots you’ve never reached before — nor your or anyone else.
He grabs your legs, folding them against your chest, and you whine at the new found angle. It’s so deep, he’s so big. It’s overwhelming.
“Fuck, Natsuo! So good, so fucking good.”
He makes a strangled noise in return, picking up the rhythm. The slapping sound of his balls against you is filthy, and it only adds to the feeling. Natsuo – who’s usually very well composed and controlled, looks wild and predatory.
“Yeah, am I fucking you good baby? Am I fucking you dumb, so dumb you can’t even talk properly?”
You whine, only nodding in response. The bubble of warmth starts to grow on your abdomen again.
“Fuck, fuck.” He groans. “Are you on the pill?”
Rapidly, you nod, silently consenting what you know he’s actually asking for.
“Gonna feel you up so good, baby. Gonna make you mine.” He places a couple of digits against your puffy clit, rubbing them in circles, and you cry even louder.
“Cum for me, baby. Can feel you clenching down on me. Go ‘head, I got ya.”
You feel the Earth stutter on its axis as a white hot feeling explodes on your tummy, making your legs shake. Waves of fire travel through your entire body, as your vision slightly fades to black. You can feel Natsuo spill inside of you, with a groan of your name against your ear.
You stay like this, for a moment, lost in blissful silence. Hissing, he removes his now soft dick from inside of you, his cum spilling out. Slowly, your breathing comes back to normal and you sit up, finding your lover with a wet cloth on his hands.
Gently, in between soft kisses and praises of “you did so good for me” and “love you, love you so much”, he cleans you up, just enough so you won’t be too uncomfortable before summoning the energy to go shower with him.
“I love you.” You whisper.
“I love you too.”
Natsuo looks at you, adoringly, slowly taking in the fact that you’re his. The only thing he’s ever chosen in life, the only thing that actually belongs to him, he won’t have to share.
He smiles at the feeling.
“Mine.” He whispers, before kissing you one more time. “Now let’s take a shower, stinky.”

natsuo todoroki crushing on a friend from college
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: natsuo todoroki x gn!reader
tags: fluff, study dates, friends to lovers
Tumblr media
natsuo and you had mutual friends and a ton of classes the two of you shared. that's how you initially caught his eye!
natsuo always admired you from afar, hesitant to approach you, until a friend of his finally introduced him to you!
during a study group in a cafe, the two of you got the chance to get to know each other and spend some time together, which only validated natsuo's crush on you
you were as kind and smart as he always imagined, helping him whenever he struggled with something and always keeping a smile on your lips, no matter how dense he was
by the end of the study group, the two of you exchanged numbers and the next study date was already being discussed!
only that this time, natsuo invited you to his place to study, cooking for the two of you, in hopes that he could impress you a little that way!
though that study date wasn't the last one, as it slowly became a habit that the two of you would meet up for dinner and a study session and natsuo's place
with how much time natsuo began to spend studying with you, his grades began to get so good that he didn't even need your help anymore
though that didn't stop him from inviting you over to study anyways! though he knew that eventually, he'd need to come up with a new reason to see you
perhaps during the upcoming break, he could ask you out on a proper date…

to forgive is divine & to err is human
pairing: Natsuo Todoroki x F!Reader (romantic), Touya Todoroki x F!Reader (familial)
word count: 7.5k
about: when Touya is released to Natsuo’s care following his 8 year prison stay, the fragility of the dynamic between the three of you threatens to derail everyone involved.
contents: cw: contains descriptions of depression, trauma, smoking, bad coping mechanisms, alcoholism, Touya dyes his hair black in a white sink (ugh). angst with a happy ending, set in canon universe but not canon compliant, established relationship between Natsuo and reader (married), Touya and reader are both assholes at certain points.
notes: tbh I've been meaning to repost this and since I'm currently in my "yes girl give us nothing" era, the time has come. Thank you to everyone (then and now) that has read this baby bc I did indeed put my ol' Kendussy into it so I didn't really change anything about it other than fixing grammar and I'm sure there are still mistakes. This is is how I wrote a year ago and that's okay and I'm proud of how far I've come.
Posting this as a double feature bc it feels too idk self promo-y to split them up again so enjoy my creature feature with my beloved Natsuo and his stinky brother. chain divider thanks to @/cafekitsune ♡

The large, red letters across the paperwork make your eyes hurt by simply gazing at them.
“RELEASED” stamped with what you can tell was a mostly dried out ink pad, the red darker at the beginning of the word than at the end. You wish you could close the growing pit in your stomach knowing Natsuo will soon arrive back to your home, rehabilitated brother in tow, but the uncertainty makes it hard to settle as you re-stack the documents given to you by the Hero Public Safety Commission when they formally announced they would permit Touya’s release so long as someone would be responsible for him.
When the conversation came up, Natsuo volunteered without a second thought. It hurt at first that he did not ask you before making the decision but after having spent nearly a decade at his side, you trusted his judgment. Six months after the initial inquiry, you still do. Touya is a practical stranger, someone you have only met through grainy video chats, but you have been briefed by many HPSC coordinators. They have conducted home visits, interviewed both of you as if you were the criminals, combed through every bank account and piece of mail to ensure that they are putting their inmate into good hands. A good word from Endeavor, something your husband reluctantly accepted, sealed the decision. Your eyes scan over the handwritten letter from Enji, tucked in the stack of documents.
“No one is more qualified to care for his brother Touya than my son Natsuo. He is a licensed medical professional, specializing in psychology and mental health services and has experience in dealing with traumatized children. I ask that the Commission consider no other placement for Touya.”
A tired sigh escapes as you flip through a few more pages, squinting through descriptions of you and Natsuo. Your personalities, your hobbies, where you work, who you associate with - all vital information, the panel assured you. The final page of the documents has the official ruling, the top left corner of the page curled in from how many times the pair of you have read over it.
“Todoroki Touya, thirty two years of age, is to be released to the custody of his brother Todoroki Natsuo, twenty eight years of age. Todoroki will be required to wear a location monitoring device at all times per the agreed upon terms of release. He is not permitted to be in contact with any of his prior associates. If contact is initiated, he will be required to return to the custody of the HPSC immediately and will no longer be eligible for release.”
Your eyes scan the document again and again, searching for some kind of strange loophole that could prevent all of this from happening. Guilt crawls up your spine and makes you shudder at the thought. How could you not want this for your husband? He has spent years dreaming of having a second chance to love his brother differently, to help him heal. It makes you feel vile to even entertain negative thoughts about Touya.
Touya. You know little about the man aside from his name, or names, rather. His time as Dabi concluded, he was sentenced to 8 years of rehabilitation instead of prison. A victim of child abuse needed recovery, the commission reasoned, and they were willing to give him the space to do so within reason. The entire Todoroki family agreed with and supported the commission and their decision, his siblings and parents being granted permission to visit him if they chose to do so.
Natsuo went as frequently as possible, excitedly telling you how much his brother has improved after every visit, eagerness infectious. You listened to his every word, rapt, as he talked about how different Touya looked now that he was eating well, how far he had come, how he seemed emotionally stable for the first time in his life. Genuine excitement danced in his eyes at the thought of having his brother back, not a shell of a boy or a man. Not Dabi but Touya, someone who was cruelly taken from him when he was too young to fully understand why.
The true agony was seeing the metaphorical stitches ripped open, cruelly and callously. The entire country was witness to the explosive truth - Touya Todoroki was alive. Even Fuyumi with her limitless poise gnawed her lower lip hoping it would ground her enough that she could stay strong for everyone else. “I can handle this,” she assured you as you wrapped your arms around her shoulders the day after the video aired. She knew the person who would need you the most was her brother. Looks were deceiving - Natsuo was big and strong, a grown man, but his feelings were delicate. She trusted no one but you to look after him.
Natsuo had only asked you to be his girlfriend weeks before his brother revealed his true identity publicly. You will never forget the way grief was etched into all of his features, his strong brow downturned for weeks; retraumatized. It took every ounce of strength in his body to muster a smile, much less anything else, but he did it. For Fuyumi and Shouto, for his mother.
You can remember every moment of the years following Touya revealing himself. The nights when Natsuo woke up sobbing, burying his face into your chest and balling the fabric of your shirt up between his fists as if it would keep him from losing touch with reality completely. He stopped eating for days at a time, depression sinking him into depths he didn’t know existed. You were always there with a soothing touch and okayu, a rice porridge Fuyumi taught you to make for him.
“When Touya died, it’s all he would eat,” she explained. Your heart crumbled at the thought of a 13 year old version of your beloved future sister in law having to keep her 9 year old brother moving through the pain of loss. How did they keep themselves together?, you wondered more than once as she breezed through the difficult times with a tight smile.
The more you watched the man you love sink, the more conflicted you felt about Touya. Those feelings lingered even into today. Natsuo is healing, therapy and love and compassion all coming together to create a whole man instead of pieces of a hurt child in a big body, but you can’t help the simmering anger you feel when you think about watching him experience the hurt in real time. Some memories stay etched forever.
Natsuo continued to live despite the difficult times. You helped him study and make his way through medical school - a feat that he often credited you wholly for. It wasn’t true but the praise always feels good. Three years after Touya was sentenced, Natsuo opened his clinic that offers a variety of therapeutic services for children with difficult quirks or those who have suffered because of them. A year after that the two of you were married.
“I knew you were the one when you gave me a reason to keep trying,” he tearfully admitted as you exchanged vows during your small wedding ceremony. The details weren’t for everyone else to know, but the pair of you knew exactly what he was talking about and the admission still makes you feel weepy if you start to think about it for too long.
Love feels like too shallow of a word to explain how you feel about him which is why you agreed to this in the first place - your love for Natsuo is stronger than your distaste toward Touya. You remind yourself of the mantra as you hear voices outside of your front doorstep, one immediately recognizable as belonging to Natsuo. You stand and take a deep breath, composing yourself and closing the file folder on the table as the door opens and the two white haired men crowd into the small genkan, talking amongst each other.
“We’re here!”
A practiced, measured smile is what you can manage as you watch the situation carefully. Touya scratches the back of his head and offers a small and impersonal wave and you’re surprised by how different he looks. Thin but healthy, his skin grafts have been properly secured, his lashes are the same white as the ones that frame your husband's kind, gray eyes. The similarities between the two are striking but so are the differences - Natsuo greets you with a smile and a peck on your forehead and Touya glowers from the doorway.
“Welcome home, Touya,”
He looks around, eyes narrowed as he takes in the sights of your well lived in home. It reminded you eerily of the way the representatives from the commission sullied your safe place away slowly, searching every corner to make sure you would not enable any more bad behavior from the man standing in the doorway. Your home had only just begun to feel like yours again.
“Nice place. Guess that’s what being married to a doctor gets you.”
His crass comment made you feel stricken, flinching slightly as your practiced smile wavers. You aren’t Fuyumi, full of endless grace and forgiveness - you can’t fake it. You aren’t Natsuo who believes in the potential of people more than anyone you’ve ever met. You are you and right now you are angry. Clenching your fists in a way you hope is imperceptible, you fake a laugh and your husband looks at you with wide eyes, noticing your change in demeanor.
“Well, it’s your place too now. Guess that’s what being a doctor's brother gets you.”
Touya purses his lips and nods, arms folded across his chest. You look over his scars, his healed skin, his cold eyes. “Do you want to show him to his room, babe?” Natsuo asks, voice shaky, as if he’s anxious for your response. “I can find it myself,” Touya answers for you, heavy boots in his hands as he pads through your home toward where his room lies. You spent weeks helping Natsuo prepare it for him, filling it with photos and books to help him gain back the time he lost while he was away. The taste in your mouth is nothing short of bitter and sour as you think about it.
“I don’t know what that was about, I asked him no-,” you raise your hand, cutting your husband off mid sentence as your fake smile finally falls and gives way to a slight frown, corners of your mouth downturned. “Don’t worry about it.”
Tumblr media
Touya has always felt suspicious of you. Your intentions, your affections for his brother, your involvement with his family - it’s hard not to be uncertain about someone who fits so flawlessly in the dysfunctional outline created by being a Todoroki. What are you hiding? What do you want?
He tosses his boots down on the floor of the room at the end of the hallway. Instinctually, he knows this is his space. Covered with childhood photos of the Todoroki family, a quilt he received as a child covering the bed, he wants to be impressed with the effort put in but instead he feels hollow. This life never fit him in the first place, happy smiles for photos and dinners and whatever the fuck was expected of him, and now he had no choice but to live it.
It is a hell of a lot nicer than the four white walls that housed him for eight long years. The bed looks a lot more comfortable, he thinks as he settles down on the edge of it, lying back with his arms behind his head. Fixing his gaze on the ceiling, he takes a moment to think in the silence of the space. The entire car ride his brother talked about you and your life together. Touya eventually began to tune him out, watching the trees pass by the window with the occasional red light flashing on his monitoring anklet catching his attention.
Rehabilitated. The connotations of the word weighed heavily on Touya - one fuck up and it would be so easy for you to convice Natsuo to send him back. You could never understand him the way that his family does. You couldn’t forgive him the way they had either, something both of you would never communicate to each other.
“Hey,” Natsuo’s voice rasps from the doorway and Touya sits up slightly, grunting his response. “You like it alright?”
“It’s fine.”
Natsuo sighs, carefully entering the room and shutting the door behind him as he slumps down on the bed next to his brother, shoulders sagging beneath the weight of the huge change that has come over his otherwise peaceful life. “You don’t have to lie, Touya.”
Touya sits up, using his elbows to support his weight, and offers a half smile toward his brother. “I’m not lyin’, it’s fine. Just feels like too much.”
Natsuo nods, trying to tamp down his urge to play therapist instead of brother. It was something he did all too often growing up and probably why he has made fixing people his mission in life. Touya was no exception.
“It’s the least we can do. You’ve been through a lot.”
We, Touya thinks to himself. Always we. He wonders how much Natsuo has surrendered of himself for your sake. Does he have any hobbies besides being a doting husband? Is his world filled with anything besides this little bubble the two of you live in?
“Don’t act like she had anything to do with all of this, Natsu. I was released to you.”
Touya slips a hand in his jacket pocket and fishes around for his pack of cigarettes, popping one out of the packaging with expert precision and sticking it between his lips as his brother sits next to him silently. “Lemme guess, need to do this outside?”
Natsuo nods and Touya sighs, sliding off of the bed and leaving a rumpled quilt behind him. Heavy footsteps trail down the hallway as he peers into the kitchen and notices the backdoor, quietly slipping through it only to be met with a glowing red cherry on the other side, smoke streaming from your mouth as you stand with a cigarette between your fingers.
“Didn’t take you for the type,” he starts, pulling his lighter from his pocket and clicking it until a bright flame catches the cigarette dangling from between his lips. Once upon a time he would’ve just used his quirk but the prescription blockers he was given by court order prevented that. “All he ever talks about is how perfect you are.”
“Looks can be deceiving,” you shoot back, flicking your cigarette ashes onto the ground below before taking another drag.
The mutual distrust permeated the air between the two of you. Touya reminded you so much of your father in law it was like looking at another version of him. You reminded Touya of everything he hated about this world - false pretense and unattainable perfection. He doubts you have ever walked around without a hair out of place, a Todoroki would never.
“Any other deep dark secrets I should know before being trapped inside of this house with you 24 hours a day?”
You chuckle, dropping your cigarette on the ground and stomping it out, bending to pick up the butt once you’re done.
“Your brother won't let me drink anymore,” you start, hoping the vulnerability warms your brother in law. His steely gaze convinces you otherwise and you begin to walk away, arms folded over your chest with a cigarette butt in your fist. “Just another fun part of the aftermath of your little warpath.”
Touya knows he fired the first shots but he’s taken aback at your accusatory tone.
“Anything else you want to question me about? Figured the commission briefed you on all of my dirty laundry.”
He shakes his head and exhales smoke through the corner of his mouth, the plumes drifting in your direction. “Good chat, Touya.”
The back door slams as you enter your home through it, windows rattling slightly. Your first instinct is to pour a drink but the reminder of your rock bottom lingers on your mind as you instead toss your cigarette in the trash and turn down the hall and head to your bedroom, Natsuo sitting on the bed.
“Why does he hate me so much?”
You hate how hysterical your voice sounds, anxiety rising like bile. Rising to his feet, your husband gathers you against his chest and presses a kiss to the top of your head.
“Give him time, he’ll warm up.”
You don’t share your husband’s boundless optimism as you hear the back door slam and hear footsteps heading to the bedroom opposite yours. Natsuo plants another soft kiss atop your hair and squeezes your hand gently as he walks back over to Touya’s room.
“You alright?” Natsuo asks and Touya rolls his eyes, shrugging off his jacket and draping it across a hook on the back of the door. “Fine. Thanks for the concern.”
Natsuo slips through the door completely and closes it softly behind him, leaning against the solid wood.
“What happened out there?”
Touya chuckles and shrugs, sitting on the bed in the same place he had left. “Nothing worth mentioning. I’ll make sure I keep my bottles hidden from her though.”
His eyes widened, Touya’s antagonistic tone nothing new, his shock coming from the fact you told him about your struggles with substance abuse in the first place. It wasn’t a secret but it certainly wasn’t a fun fact you gave out at trivia night.
“Uh, yeah, thank you.” Natsuo fumbles through his words, unsure of the right thing to say. “That would be great. She has come a long way but there are still times that are difficult, especially when big changes occur.”
Your substance abuse issues began about a year after your marriage. Blissful happiness wasn’t enough to numb the intense pain of the years prior but copious amounts of whiskey while Natsuo was busy with work were good enough. Blind confidence convinced you he didn’t notice a thing, not your sunken eyes or decreased appetite, but he did and he confronted you as gently as he could.
The next day you started therapy of your own and have continued to go to meetings for others struggling with addiction since then. Nothing drastic has happened in your life since you quit drinking, calm falling over the Todoroki household, making it easier for you to maintain your wits.
He would never say it but Natsuo truly worried about your sobriety. Every time he left for a trip or wine was passed around at family dinner, he wondered if it would be the day you changed your mind. Sticking with you was easy, though. You did the same for him at his low point and he would never stop doing it for you.
“She smokes, you know that?”
Natsuo nods, Touya’s raspy voice breaking the silence caused by his brother’s overthinking. “Have to let her have one vice, you know?”

“I think you forget that you weren’t the only person who had to live through that fucking horrifying life! It didn’t just go away when you did.”
Your voice cracks as you raise it at your brother in law, his turquoise eyes wide as he watches you yell with an intensity that leaves your hands shaking. He has never looked more like your husband than he does now, the same white hair sticking up on top of his head, his fingers carding through it and yanking the strands as he paces your living room floor.
“There are times I don’t think you realize that your actions have always had consequences because you’ve truly faced so few of them,” you feel your face flame as Touya’s expression turns from surprised to angry. “You didn’t have to clean up the messes. I did.”
Seeing the similarities makes something inside of you crack, a piece of your heart perhaps, your chest heaving. Regret consumes your mind; you’ve gone too far. You struggle to catch your breath, rubbing your fingers over your cheeks to hide evidence of your tears. Silence blankets the room like a dense fog.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have said that.”
Your voice sounds meek and thin even to your own ears, the screaming match you have been engaged in rendering your throat raw. Painfully, you swallow what little spit you can and shut your eyes tightly as you listen to Touya’s rhythmic footfalls. Taking a deep breath, you sink into an armchair and dab at your eyes with the back of your hands, opening them long enough to see Touya staring intently at you. You drop your hands and sigh.
“I can’t imagine what you have been through,” you hiccup, warm tears sliding down your cheek and dripping onto your wrists where they sit in your lap. “But you weren’t the only one going through it and I hope your brother can forgive me for saying all of this to you.”
The white haired man remains silent as you rise from your chair, hands balled into fists at your sides. Your gaze turns directly to him and you sniffle, tears subsiding.
“He has always loved you despite everything you’ve done, exactly as you are. Please remember that.”
The words feel cathartic to say aloud, astute eyes narrowing to watch you as you turn on your heel and begin to walk away. Your tense posture tells him exactly how you feel about the entire situation and you reason that giving Touya space seems like the best option to end the strange battle of wills the two of you have found yourselves in.
The gravelly sound of Touya’s voice from over your shoulder stops you in your tracks.
“Then I owe it to him to try.”
There is no apology to be found in the words but you swear you can feel it as he says them, looking over your shoulder. For the first time you don’t see Dabi or Touya, you see someone completely new - your brother in law. A blank canvas, someone you could perhaps get to know under better circumstances.
“We both owe it to him,” you respond as you turn around and make your way back to the chair you were sitting in moments ago, sitting stiffly against the back of the chair, shoulders still held tensely by your ears. “But how do we begin?”
Touya sighs and sits opposite you, rubbing his hands over his face as he rests his elbows on his knees.
“Hi, I’m Touya.” You laugh for the first time in a week and he can’t hide the half smile that comes across his face. “I did some fucked up things and spent eight years paying for them but I fucking love my family.” He stomps his foot, emphasizing his point. “That includes you now so we better get our shit together, yeah?”
Another tear falls as you nod, a watery smile settling over your features.
“Yeah, we should.”
Tumblr media
A year later, when you think of your brother in law Touya, a memory from your childhood comes to your mind.
You are six, maybe seven and at the zoo. Your parents hold both of your hands dutifully to make sure you don’t run off, squeezing your tiny palms between theirs as you excitedly gasp and croon at birds, snakes, and butterflies. A flamingo makes you shout, a duck makes you quack.
Steps slow down as the three of you approach a large glass enclosure. “Black panther - panthera pardus” says the sign extending from the ground in front of the glass. You don’t know that, of course, until your dad reads it aloud to you, asking you to repeat the name.
“Panthera,” you repeat, a tiny voice bouncing back at you off of the glass.
As if you summoned the cat itself, it appears and you flinch. Black, lithe, wild eyed with muscles wound so tightly you can see the shape and size of each of them. You wonder if the panther knows how to relax, the same way your mom tells you to when you cry too hard. Maybe he needs to take a deep breath.
“Why does he look so nervous?”
In your young mind, the question surfaced before you had time to think about it. Of course he’s nervous, you reason, all of these people are staring at him like the attraction that he is. A dazzling thing to see locked between four glass walls.
“He isn’t nervous honey, he’s probably just thinking about what he would do if he were outside with us.”
Pondering your mom's polite whisper, you nod and accept the answer. Grown ups always know best anyway.
As a keeper enters the enclosure and carefully stalks toward the cat, your eyes widen in surprise. How can he let someone so close? You wonder if you could ever get that close to him. To see the sunlight in his fur just enough to reveal the spots under the dark of his coat or to watch his ears twitch as he listens for sounds of danger. Would he ever trust you? Could you trust him?
The crowd around the glass increases in size, delighted whoops as the keeper dangles the cleaned carcass of a large bird above the panther. You drink in the way he crouches and springs, tight muscles unwinding for a moment as large paws capture the food between them.
A sight you’ll never forget.
A sight you see as Touya stalks through the living room of your home, tightly running his fingers through his hair. Muscles taut, standing and walking but trying to simultaneously fold in on himself.
“What the fuck would they even want to talk about?”
You sigh, shrugging at his words. The “they'' in question is the Commission and one year after his monitored release, he has been asked to return before the panel and answer some questions. Natsuo sits next to you on the floor in front of the chabudai, sorting through the papers sent to him to review ahead of Touya’s scheduled meeting. The three of you only found out about the date today.
“I dunno, Touya,” your husband shoots a bit impatiently toward his brother. “Let me read this and then I’ll tell you.”
Silently, you watch as he scans the documents, flipping them between his fingers. You hear the heavy pounding of Touya’s footsteps across the floor, reverberating through the otherwise silent room. Your house is too quiet. There is no crowd to filter out the silence.
“Potential restoration of privileges,” you hear Natsuo mutter from beside you. He continues to read to himself and you wonder what that truly entails. Would Touya be released from his supervised period completely? Would he be allowed to wander more than 50 feet away from his guardians?
“God Natsu, read faster.”
Natsuo’s eyes shoot a frosty glance toward Touya from over the top of the papers in his hands. Placing them on the table, your husband sighs.
“They want to see your progress and maybe give you a little more freedom.”
Touya freezes in place for a mere second before turning on his heel and rushing to the edge of the table to snatch the documents and look over them, brows furrowed in concern that this is some evil trick the two of you have decided to pull on him. Revenge for the last twelve months of him and his fits, his angry words, his snarling.
You’ve realized during the months he’s more meow than he is hiss.
“But,” Natsuo starts, clearing his throat, Touya tossing the papers back on the table and interrupting his brother with a clear as day “fuck!”, beginning to pace once again. “We have to give testimony.”
The royal we is something Touya has hated since the day he moved into your home. It always makes him feel as if it’s two against one, no separation between yourself and Natsuo and how you feel about the situation. He assumes if you’re mad at him, his brother is too. If you’re frustrated with Touya drinking the last of your nice matcha, Natsuo must be too. If you’re angry at Touya for dying his hair black in your bathtub and staining the shiny white tiles, Natsuo must be too.
He’s wrong about that, of course, his brother never holding any of his minor blunders against him. You don’t either but it would be tougher to convince Touya to believe that than it would be to build a house by hand, despite the tentative peace that exists between the two of you. You’ve allowed him into your home, your world, your once peaceful little family and have found that you are better for it. Natsuo is better for it. But there will always be a level of distrust.
Like that panther you think of so often, Touya must wonder what it would be like to be free and trusted.
“Touya, I don’t know how to say this,” Natsuo says, trying to keep his tone even and calm despite how anxious you know he must be feeling. You feel your stomach drop as well, balling the fabric of your linen pants between your palms to keep your hands from shaking. You looked at the date on the documents and noticed that it was a day you knew he’d be unavailable, working on a particularly tough case with multiple children from one family. “I can’t do it.”
Touya chuckles, a bitter and hollow sound that makes you flinch. “Of course not.”
“She can, though.”
Unexpectedly, Touya’s bitter chuckle turns into a belly laugh. You wonder if he’ll double over from the strength of it, scarred hands clutching his middle. Natsuo stands, approaching his brother carefully.
“Her?” He points at you and you feel like the one being questioned. Despite the grasp on the thighs of your pants, your hands do shake and your fingers slip. “She probably wishes I would have died every single day despite the little “play nice” bullshit she does for your sake.”
Gasping at the accusation, you hope he can’t see the way your eyes glance downward. You had assumed the two of you were past this, arguments coming to a halt around six months ago when you told him you simply didn’t have the energy for them anymore.
You then began taking him to pick up cigarettes every other day, riding in your car together silently but comfortably. His fingers always drum against his thighs impatiently and you clear your throat, mouth dry until you arrive. You have to be close to him the entire time but you linger on the edges of the small shop in your neighborhood, giving the elderly shopkeeper time to fuss over Touya the way he needs.
The two of you then silently ride back to your home.
“How could you say that, Touya?”
Much like the smaller version of you felt compelled to speak outside of the gleaming panther exhibit, you do the same now. Your voice sounds weak, thin, defeated. Natsuo rushes to your side, kneeling back down and placing one of his large arms around your shoulder.
“Oh here we go, gotta rush to defen -”
Touya’s words are cut off by a sharp glance from his brother, a look he has never seen before. Smothering all of the fire inside of him, hurting the one person who has endlessly forgiven him, he is doused by humility.
“I don’t hate you,” you look up and see Touya’s turquoise eyes that are narrowed and hard staring directly at you. “I don’t wish you were dead,” you continue as you shrug your husband’s arm off of you and begin to stand. “In fact, I was stupid and thought we were finally fucking past all of this!”
Punctuating your shout with a frustrated grunt, you stomp off down the hallway and leave the brothers to figure it out amongst themselves. Natsuo would simply have to find a way to make the date work for him because you couldn’t bring yourself to beg the Commission to be merciful toward someone who detests you so much. You aren’t a big enough person for that, lacking the careful compassion of your husband.
“Are you fucking serious, Touya?”
Natsuo cursing at his brother makes his steely gaze falter, eyes glancing downward toward the floor. Touya remembers a time you went too far, not long after he first moved into your home, and he feels guilty knowing he has done the same.
“Whatever,” Touya responds dismissively as he stomps off.
Natsuo hears the back door slam and rubs his hand over his face, eyes fluttering closed for a moment. He’s transported back to 12 long months ago when he didn’t even want to be in the same room as the two of you, the tension making him incapable of dealing with his own uncertainty about the ability to rehabilitate his brother.
As Touya steps outside into the cool air, far less suffocating than the inside of the house, he fishes around in his pockets for his lighter and mutters obscenities as he realizes it is inside. Of course, he still can’t use his quirk thanks to the very strong suppressants he has to take daily as part of his release, so he flings the door back open and stomps inside.
Hearing hushed muttering from the living room, he closes the door quietly and creeps to the doorway of the kitchen. He shoves himself against the wall, trying to hide from view as he hears your voice.
“I don’t understand why he won’t give me a chance, Natsu.”
His brother sighs and Touya sinks further against the wall. He knows the sound - fed up, frustrated, struggling. Natsuo is the last person he ever wanted to create those feelings in and shame, a bit of an unfamiliar feeling for him, creeps up his spine and makes his stomach turn.
“You didn’t exactly make the best first impression, of course he doesn’t completely trust you.”
Natsuo’s words make you blow out air in frustration. Touya can’t see you, but he imagines you look as downtrodden as you always have after these little battles. His brother’s defense of his behavior is surprising, though, and he idly rubs his thumb across one of the graft scars on his hands.
“I know,” you relent with a sniff. “I know.”
Your words shift Touya’s perspective, precious humility trickling over him and making his left eye twitch - a stress reflex he tried to hide for years.
You were the first person who noticed it and on your usual trip to the small store to pick up his cigarettes after, you passed him a box of anti-inflammatory medication and a bottle of eyedrops wordlessly as you buckled into your seat. He hasn’t twitched since.
Acknowledging the hurt you’ve caused is the first step of atonement, he remembers reading in a book Natsuo brought him while he was still locked up.
He peeks from around the wall, stretching his arms over his head and locking his fingers on the back of his skull, buried in poorly dyed black hair. Natsuo looks up through his light eyelashes at his brother who approaches carefully, settling on the opposite side of the table from where the pair of you sit.
“You can do it.”
The words are simple and cause both you and Natsuo to look up. Touya refuses to meet your puffy eyes and rises back to standing as quickly as he sat, slapping the tabletop once before skulking down the hallway to grab his lighter.
You and Natsuo resolve not to ask questions, with only two weeks until the panel meets time is of the essence and your testimony will be key to helping Touya if you choose to help him.
Tumblr media
Sitting in front of the panel is more nerve-wracking than you expected. A group of five familiar faces all staring at you with discerning eyes as you shuffle the hand-written pages of your testimony between your fingers.
These people have rummaged through your home on more than one occasion, interviewed all of your close friends and family, sifted through every piece of your dirty laundry and you’re at their mercy once again but this time you’re more willing.
“You may begin as you wish, Todoroki-san.”
Nodding respectfully toward the head of the panel, you clear your throat and exhale as you look down at the papers in your hands. You can feel Touya looking at you from across the room, Fuyumi and Shouto seated beside him and Rei on the other side of his sister, but refuse to look up at them for fear it’ll make the little courage you’ve summoned disappear.
“When Touya first moved into our home, I was uncertain of his ability to be rehabilitated.”
You spent the last two weeks reading this exact same speech to Natsuo, rehearsing it in your bedroom while pacing across the floor. The ink on the page is smeared in places from wet tears that dripped down onto the paper, black bleeding into blue and drying into rippled and raised spots. Those spots remind you of Touya, the way he has woven his way into part of your everyday existence.
“The process of allowing him into our lives felt very invasive. Respectfully, our lives were torn apart in preparation for him. Our home was combed through, our mail was intercepted, my husband was followed by a member of this committee on his way home from the clinic he tirelessly uses as a means to help others on more than one occasion.”
You keep your tone even to avoid sounding accusatory. These are all facts the Commission themselves have confirmed via their own documentation but standing in the face of the very force that can decide your future as well as Touya’s is more intimidating than you expected.
“The day Touya moved in, our lives shifted in a way that no amount of preparation could have made us anticipate. Difficult interpersonal dynamics forced us to take a good hard look at the future of our family and the future of what we desired for Touya. How did we want his rehabilitation to look?”
Taking a breath, you look up from the sheet of paper for a moment to meet Touya’s gaze and it strikes you as odd to see something almost tender. You sniff, nose twitching, vowing to hold yourself together until you’re alone or with Fuyumi or anywhere but sitting in front of people who have made their living off of judging, doling out punishment, changing lives for better or worse.
“While we’ve had many difficult times, I am not here to talk about the difficulty I caused Touya with my inability to coexist for the first several months. Rehabilitation takes a team and I was not a team player,” you pause and hear shuffling from the seats across the room. “Despite this, Touya has dedicated himself to improvement and has continually adhered to every request the commission put forth in the original terms of his release.”
While you don’t want to continue to air out your dirty laundry, there is a therapeutic feeling in knowing you’re publicly admitting to handling things wrong. In front of Natsuo’s family, nonetheless. Touya’s family. Your family.
At the end of this lies the fact that you are all a family and forgiveness is inherently woven through the relationships and bonds you share.
“It is the recommendation of both my husband and I that Touya’s privileges of release be expanded upon, including reduction of supervision and permission to travel to the homes of his mother and siblings independently if he chooses.”
Rising to your feet, you bow before the panel once more before walking toward the back of the room and quietly exiting as they take time to deliberate and make their decision.
Touya rises and comes to the front of the room, standing before them. He hates the way he feels, like a caged animal with his muscles tensed, in a suit that doesn’t even belong to him because why the fuck would he ever own a suit? The sleeves are too long, it is Shouto’s after all, and he pulls the cuffs over his hands with his thumbs.
The panel head speaks and the room is so quiet you’re even unnerved from the other side of the door. Pressing your ear to the wood, you listen.
“Our decision will not be immediate. You can expect further communication from the panel in the coming weeks. As of right now, your terms of release remain the same until you are otherwise notified. Thank you for your time today, Todoroki-san.”
Touya bows and joins his family, missing the member he wishes to see the most.
You back away from the door as you hear the knob turn and rest against the wall, arms over your chest as you greet your in-law’s with a subdued smile.
“Natsu will be so proud of you!” Fuyumi beams, rubbing your bicep in a comforting gesture. You just shrug, unable to speak. You exchange a few additional pleasantries with Shouto and Rei, wishing them goodbye as they leave you and Touya standing on opposite sides of the hallway.
“It’s okay, you know.”
Touya’s voice is a rasp, as always, and you look up through your eyelashes at him. Fiddling uncomfortably with the cuff of your shirt in the same way he’s been fiddling with his own cuffs all day, it just further emphasizes the similarities you share. It isn’t just love for Natsuo you have in common anymore.
“None of this shit has been easy and you’ve done your best. I’m not exactly a fuckin’ easy person to get along with.”
You chuckle, tension diffusing.
“I think you’re going soft, Touya.”
He chuckles back and your eyes meet, the two of you walking toward the center of the hallway to leave the building together and walk back to your car. Your footsteps are quiet and so are his, both of you slumping as you saunter out of the door and into the bright midday sun.
“Nah, just tired of being an asshole all the time.”
Tumblr media
The news comes as you stand at your kitchen sink, Touya bent over as you help him rinse black hair dye down the drain. Your hands are wet, his shirt is soaked, but you agreed to help him after noticing a huge white patch still at the back of his head from his attempts to do it himself.
“I dunno why you want it to be black so bad, don’t you want to look like Natsu?”
Touya snorts and the sound echoes through the steel basin. “I have to keep a little edge. Let me live.” You shut off the clean running water, allowing the dark droplets to work their way out of your sink. There was more rinsing to do but you wanted to be sure of how much more.
“It’s here!” Natsuo shouts from the doorway and you hear his hurried, large footsteps trek into the room, ripping of paper ringing in your ears.
You want to leave Touya’s side and go to Natsuo, to read over his arm, to see for yourself but you resolve to be patient and continue to lightly massage Touya’s scalp. He needs comfort right now, you can tell.
“Expansion of privileges,” Natsuo mutters to himself, scanning the page as quickly as he can. “Unsupervised access to other family homes! Holy shit!”
Tossing the papers onto the counter, your husband bolts toward you and wraps his arms around your waist. “No, no, no,” you chant as he picks you up and you accidentally pull Touya’s wet strands of hair. He yelps and you let go, hissing apologetically.
“God Natsuo, down boy.”
Your snarky brother-in-law draws a giggle from you as your husband presses a kiss against your cheek and reaches down to slap him on the back. “Do you wanna tell mom or should I?” Touya looks up, head still dripping, and rolls his eyes at his brother. “I could just show up at her house, that’d have more impact.”
Wiggling away from Natsuo, you reach for the towel on the counter and wrap it around Touya’s neck so he can sit up and not drip black water all over your floor. He gives silent thanks in the form of a tight half smile and you smile back, stepping away to let the brothers converse about how they’re going to break the news to their siblings.
As you watch the two of them, the panther and his handler once again come back to your mind.
The reason that the handler was able to come so close to the cat is because he trusted him. The cat could learn to trust others, to let people in, to let them be on his side. You won’t have to wonder if you could have gained the panther’s trust any longer and he won’t have to wonder what it’s like to be on the outside with the rest of us.

You’re sitting there with your underwear around your ankles, elbows resting atop either of your thighs as you hold your head in your hands, patient. Although, patience is beginning to make way for anxiety rather quickly.
You want to glance over at the counter, at the thin white stick sitting there with its stupid pink cap, but you know that won’t quell your worry. You know there’s still two minutes left on the timer you set on your phone, that there’s potentially two minutes left of normalcy in your life. Two minutes left until everything changes.
“Is it done yet?” A concerned voice speaks to you just outside the bathroom door.
“Natsu, it’s only been a minute,” you laugh despite your anxiety churning up a whirlpool in your gut.
There’s a pause before you hear him speak again, “Can I come in?”
As soon as you begin to say “yes”, your fiancé is opening the door and stepping inside.
You give him the slightest nod in acknowledgement as he walks into the room, closing the door behind him as if you two aren’t the only ones in the house.
Natsuo rests against the bathroom wall, his broad shoulders pressed against it before tilting his head back to rest on it too, his eyes on the ceiling.
“Are you okay?” You ask him, rubbing your thumbs up your neck and to your jawbone, absentmindedly trying to soothe yourself.
His head rolls against the wall as he goes to look at you, “Shouldn’t I be asking you that?”
You laugh again, shrugging as you go to sit up straight, “Maybe… but I know you’re just as nervous.”
Natsuo looks at you, then down at the floor. It’s clear he’s thinking, but about what you’re not entirely sure.
You look down too, though not at the floor, but at your hands as they rest on your thighs. Your engagement ring glitters under the bathroom lights and you find yourself twisting your wrist slowly to watch as the diamond glistens in different spots. It’s a pleasant distraction, though it doesn’t last for long.
Your diamond-induced trance is interrupted by the sound of bells jingling from the speakers of your phone, indicating the test has been processed.
Quickly, you snatch your phone off the counter to shut it off, your eyes meeting Natsuo’s again.
“Should we look at it together? Or do you want to see it first?” He asks you quietly, ever the gentleman.
“No, let’s look at it together.” You do your best to give him a reassuring smile, but you’re convinced it came off less genuine than you wanted.
Standing up, you pull your underwear back on and reach for the test, your gaze on Natsuo rather than on the results. He’s looking at you, too.
Wordlessly, you both blink at one another before looking over at the test.
The control strip is bright pink, with one nearly matching it in saturation on the left.
A chill runs through your body as you look over at Natsuo. He looks petrified, almost unmoving save for the swell of his chest as he breathes, deep and slow.
“It’s okay,” you break the silence, Natsuo still looking at the little lines. You feel saliva start to pool in your mouth the way it does before you’re sick.
Again, you can tell he’s thinking, but about what you don’t know.
“It’s okay, Natsuo. I… We don’t have to keep it. I know you’re still finishing up school and we’re not married yet and… it’s okay. We can try again another time, when it’s better for us both.”
You want to keep talking, to keep comforting him, but you feel a hard lump growing in your throat and you don’t want to cry.
“That’s not why I’m scared.”
You tilt your head at him, confused, though your stomach calms a little now that he’s speaking once more.
“What do you mean?”
“I don’t care that I’m still in school and I don’t care that we aren’t married yet. People can talk if they want.”
“So what is it then?”
His gaze meets yours again, at last, but his voice is dangerously close to shattering, “What if I turn out like him?”
You swear you can feel your heart sink into your stomach. Not worrying about your potentially dirty hands, you pull him in for a hug, doing your best to envelope his large frame.
“Natsuo, you will never end up like your father.”
You can’t see his face, but you can hear him sniffle. “You don’t know that.”
“Hey, yes I do. I do know that.”
“How?”
You pull away from the hug slightly, holding onto his forearms as you look up at him. His eyes are so watery, a tear falling from one when he blinks.
“I know because you’re very aware of all the terrible things he did to you and your siblings and your mom growing up. I know because you’re kind and gentle and understanding. You would never put a child through what your father did because of what you went through, Natsuo. Because you’re good. Because you’re you, not him.”
Natsuo nods, more tears spilling past his lower lash line, “I’m still so scared.”
“It’s okay,” you nod, giving his arms a light squeeze, “it’s okay to be scared, Natsuo. I’m scared too.”
“Of course you are, you’ve got a microscopic little human in you.” He manages to make himself laugh, just a little.
You laugh too, “I know. I know, it’s very weird to think about.”
“So, what should we do?”
You wet your lips before pursing them, this time it’s you who’s thinking. “I’m not sure. I’ve always wanted kids but I also know we have a lot of time to get to that—and I don’t want to continue with this pregnancy if you don’t want to.”
“That’s the worst part. I would love to have kids and a big family… I’m just so damn scared that I’ll ruin it all.”
“Of course. I totally get why you’re scared. I’m sorry. Your dad ruins everything for you and it really breaks my heart.”
The room is silent again, for much longer this time, but now it’s him who pulls you into his chest, giving you a comforting hug.
You decide to speak, voice muffled by his shirt. “Will you at least come to the appointment with me? When I, uh, get rid of it?”
“Get rid of it?”
“As in get an abortion.”
“No, I know what you meant, silly. I mean that… I didn’t say we should get rid of it.”
You move your head so you can meet his eye, your brows furrowed in confusion and his in concentration.
“I can’t let that asshole dictate how my life is going to go. It was his fault I grew up terrified, but I don’t want to let him keep me terrified. He can’t ruin things for me anymore, especially not this. Not you… not a kid. I won’t let him.”
“So?”
“So,” he starts, picking you up with his arms wrapped around your waist, the test still in one of his hands, “We’ve got a lot to talk about tomorrow morning.”
Giggling, you lean in to give him a kiss, your eyes starting to well up too, “Natsuo, I still need to wash my hands!”

“Anyone ever tell you you’ve got the prettiest eyes in the world?”
The statement is casual yet disarming, and ‘the prettiest eyes in the world’ widen then dart around the bustling café, trying to ensure that no one else has heard. Natsuo grins at your newly flustered appearance, glad that the words have taken their effect.
"Stop teasing me,” you pout. Your voice is small and barely heard over the background noise, but that’s not the only reason Natsuo leans forward, resting his chin on his hands as he watches you intently.
“Why would it be a tease?” he asks. “It’s true.” The look on his face is cheeky yet sincere. He has a habit of complimenting you like this, suddenly, boldly and in a way that makes it hard for you to dispute. He might as well be telling you the sky is blue, and for him, these two things - that you are currently the owner of the most beautiful eyes in the world, and that the sky is blue - are equally true.
You twist your mouth to the side.
“Your eyes are pretty too,” you reply. It’s true. The soft grey hue is gentle and easy and his gaze is your favorite to meet.
He laughs.
“Maybe one day you’ll learn to take a compliment without returning one,” he jokes. His hand reaches for yours across the table and your fingers intertwine.
Your sandwiches will arrive in a moment. By then, he’ll have complimented you again - on the shape of your lips when you smile and how thoughtful you are. You’ll learn to take the compliments in stride, without the need to return one equivalent or to diminish what he sees in you.
You’ll learn to be loved, and he will continue to love you.

You catch Natsuo’s eyes through the reflection of the mirror you're standing in front of. He eyes your body, unaware that you stopped trying to put on some earrings and are now watching him. The faint blush on his cheeks is cute and you have to hold back a laugh when said blush intensifies when his eyes stop on your uncovered legs. You knew what you were doing when you waltz into the room wearing only underwear, claiming that you wanted to do your makeup and hair before putting on your clothes. Since then, his eyes haven't left your body, sneakily grabbing a pillow to cover his visible boner. You don't miss the way Natsuo grips the pillow, knuckles turning white, when you shift your body weight from one leg to the other. The music playing in the background doesn't help ease up the sexua tension in the room, so thick that you could cut it with a knife. However, you won't be the first one to crack. By the looks of it though, your boyfriend looks like he will be the first.
It's the vision of you leaning in to see if your makeup looks good that finally makes him stand up and walk up to you, arms sneaking around your waist as his face hides in your neck. “You smell good”, he murmurs. Even if he is trying to not be noticeable, you feel the way he slowly grinds against you.
“Can we do it?” Natsuo whispers, leaving a small kiss on your neck and then another on your shoulder.
“I have to leave in like ten minutes. We can do it when I get back.” you say, turning around and wrapping your arms around his neck.
The man pushes you against the full length mirror and you hiss at the feeling of the cold glass on your back. He sucks where your shoulder and neck meet and you roll your eyes at the obvious motive of why he is leaving hickeys. “I’ll just cover the hickeys with foundation. You know that, right?”
Natsuo laughs against your neck, the sound reverberating through your whole body. “No, you won’t. You like when I mark you. And I like it because it keeps people away from my sweetheart.” His hand sneaks under your bra, fondling one of your breasts as he sighs. “God, baby, you are so hot. I want you to go out and have fun with your friends but at the same time I want to fuck you so hard you won't be able to walk out of here.”
“That's too bad, isn't it?” you tease, moving your hand to grab his hair and pull him back.
He hisses at the pain caused by you pulling his hair but his expression of pain quickly turns into a smirk. “You know that turns me on, baby.”
“Anything turns you on, fucking pervert.”
Still, you drop on your knees. A blowjob will be quicker than sex so Natsuo will have to be satisfied with this and wait until you get home from hanging out with your friends.
You pull down his sweatpants, his dick jumping free and you don't know why you're surprised at the lack of underwear. Your lips wrap carefully around his head, sucking softly. While you have to leave soon, you don't want to ruin your makeup too much. However, it seems like your boyfriend has a different idea. His big hand grabs a fistful of your hair and forces you to take his dick until the base, your nose touching the trimmed pubes. You gag a bit at the way he forces you to take all of him without a warning. He laughs at your attempt of looking angry, with tears threatening to spill from your waterline and a mouth full of cock. Natsuo pulls your head back, letting you take a deep breath. “Jackass.” You murmur before running your tongue over the side of his dick, noticing the lipstick marks left behind.
You doubt he will move to get some lube so you just let a glob of spit fall and use it to jerk him off. His hand is still on your hair but this time holding your hair back so he can see your face properly. You look up at him through your eyelashes and the way he spurs pre-cum makes it clear that he likes it. You take your mouth to one of his balls, sucking it gently then switching to the other while your hand still moves up and down. His head drops back as he lets out a deep groan. You go back to sucking his dick, it will be easier for him to cum on your mouth than your face. He moves his hips as you bob your head up and down, using your hand to help you. His groans and moans grow louder the closer he gets to his orgasm. It's always a good sight to see your boyfriend’s expression when he is so close, chest moving quickly like he just ran a marathon and his eyes get glossy when the orgasm finally crashes.
You don't know if you were just unlucky or if your boyfriend did it on purpose but, while you're jerking him through his orgasm, his cock escapes from your mouth and most of his cum spills on your face. Natsuo comes down from his high, he starts laughing loudly when he looks down to see you looking angrily at him.
“I hate you so much.”
“Babe, it wasn't on purpose!” he says between laughs as he watches you get up and march to the bathroom. “Be glad I was holding your hair or you’d have to wash it again.”
“Remember how I said we could have sex when I came back?” You say, smiling and batting your eyelashes, a towel in your hand. “You can forget it.” You say, still smiling, before trying to hit him with the towel.
Instead of leaving soon, you wasted 20 more minutes and had to hear your friends’ teasing all night. It was all his fault.

BAEEEE
dad natsuo fic???🥺🥺🥺🥺
Tumblr media
Of course! Only the best for our underrated best boy!
learning & growing
Dad! Natsuo todoroki x reader
Cw! fluff, mostly natsuo being the best dad, may cause daddy issues to flare up
synopsis; natsuo todoroki didn't ever think he would be a great father due to how he grew up, but here he is now with a beautiful four year old baby girl he loves more than the stars love the moon
Tumblr media
As we all know, Natsuo grew up in a household where fatherly love wasn't shown towards him, but as he'd watched his daughter, natsuki, grow up over the past four years he'd been the happiest he could ever be
When she was born
The girl was so tiny, so delicate, her skin looked like it had been painted on with an oil brush. Her eyes were like two tiny blue stones. It was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. "Natsuki.” you had whispered from the hospital bed as you were doing skin to skin with your daughter.
He was scared that he wasn't going to be a good dad,but when he had this beautiful daughter and you; his favorite person and wife next to him, the fears faded away towards the back of his mind. “yeah. Yeah it's perfect. such a pretty name...for our pretty girl."the nickname rolled off his tongue so flawlessly, like he'd been planning on having a kid so young with you. Like he'd been planning on nicknames for her.
He hadn't known it then, but his life was going to become extremely hectic and full of the fun you could only have with a child.
1st year
For the past year, being a dad to natsuki had been an incredible experience for him. He was so thankful for all the moments he had shared with her, from her first smile to her first steps. He cherished every moment they spent together and loved watching her grow into a beautiful girl. Natsuki's first giggle made his chest grow tighter than ever; and the way you gave him a tired smile when he'd come home from school made him want to help as much as he could. Every day brings new joys and he is filled with gratitude for all that they have experienced in this past year.
2nd year
Every moment natsuo spends with natsumi is precious and he cherishes every single one of them. From teaching her how to ride a bicycle to playing tag in the backyard with you two, he loves every second of it.
He knew that all too soon these moments will pass and she would be all grown up, it had happened so fast from when natsumi was born and now suddenly she was two and could talk and walk and have fun with him, but until then he plans on enjoying everything he's had with his child for the past two years of her life.
3rd year
Being a dad to a three year old toddler is both challenging and rewarding, and natsuo finds that out the hard way.
He had been left at home with natsumi and got locked in the bathroom.
It's a time of immense joy and growth, as he watched natsumi learn new things every day. As a dad, he'd experienced everything from the highs of playing with the toddler to the lows of trying to find ways to keep her entertained.
He wouldn't trade it for anything, as it had been an amazing experience that has brought him so much joy and laughter.
4th year
While you were pregnant again with your second child natsuo was enjoying taking four year old natsumi to her first day of school, where he totally didn't cry, and dance classes that put a hole in his pocket, but he'd do anything for natsumi.
It was difficult to balance the needs of both natsumi and take care of you and the doctors appointments .
After your second child is born; natsumi becomes the best older sister.
Natsuo never thought he deserved love, and he definitely never thought he would be a good father. But here he was, learning and growing alongside natsumi while also being completely obsessed with you as well.
Tumblr media
first natsuo fic and third post of the day! literally struggled a bit, but I hope u enjoy!

tw: angst, mentions of todoroki family trauma
"hey, natsuo?"
the young man in question tilts his face up towards you, his head nestled in your lap as the two of you rest atop your bed.
he hums inquisitively.
you smile down at him, and he can't help but think it's a little unfair that even upside down you're the prettiest thing in the world.
"happy six months," you say softly, halfway to a warm sigh, raking your fingers through the hair near his temple.
six months.
it makes him ache a little bit.
six months the two of you have been together. six of the happiest months he's ever had, he thinks.
he wants to tell you that sometimes—all the time—but that means he'd have to tell you other things. worse things. things that he's kept in his chest along with these blossoming feelings that have only been growing for the past 26 weeks. things that have lived there longer. things that staked their claim on him first—born in him as inescapably as his own blood. things that might kill any budding affection between the two of you before it has the chance to truly bloom.
it's been okay so far. he's managed not to scare you off, not to share too much of himself, his past, his family. he's had nothing but time to perfect the motions, after all.
the son of the #1 hero. (cruel and vicious.)
the eldest boy. (though not the son born first.)
a happy, normal life. (he used to sleep in the bottom of his wardrobe because it muffled the sound of his mother's tears at night.)
but it's harder now to keep those truths at bay under his ribs, squirming like they're ready to force their way out to the light. to you.
he wonders how much longer he can manage it. he wonders how much of him you'd be willing to love if he ever found the courage to show it to you. he wonders what the limits of your affections for him are. he wonders if you can nurse a seedling whose roots are rotting.
natsuo's had six months of you, and he wants the rest of them.
he just wonders if you'd feel the same if he ever really let you have him too.

Tumblr media
Ingreadients: Shoto Todoroki x gn!Reader, Toya Todoroki (Dabi) x gn!Reader, Natsuo Todoroki x gn!Reaer, Fuyumi Todoroki x gn!Reader Contains: cute cuddles, mention of spiders, tiny argument, overworking, not really proofread Type of order: hot chocolate (fluff), macarons (headcanonss), bubble tea (request) A/N: You've been up for 30hours?! Jeez I hope you can finaly get some sleep soon. Don't overwork yourself please. Thank you for your request. I didn't know which Todoroki you ment so I wrote something for the whole bunch of siblings. ❤
Tumblr media
Shoto Todoroki:
you were just tired and all you wanted to do is to cuddle up with your boyfriend of the couch
tiredly you stepped through the door of your apartment, you undressed your shoes and walked into the kitchen to get yourself something to eat
the shower could be heard and you knew that Shoto was showering right now (obviously)
He must have come home a bit earlier than you
You stood there in the kitchen exhausted, but now you wanted to cook your boyfriend a nice meal
thawed food was not the stuff you wanted to eat right now and delivery food just didn’t suited the situation now you thought
you sorted out all the ingredients for some good old easy fried rice
while you prepared everything and started cooking you boyfriend entered the kitchen
“Welcome home, love.” he hummed and hugged you from behind
he was just as tired as you were
“Hi, honey. How was your day?” you asked, while attempting to hide your tiredness
“Tiring. We only had paperwork and it was boring.” he mumbled and nuzzled his head in the crook in your neck
he became comfortable to physical touch after years of your relationship and everytime he was tired he acted like the touch starved boy he is
“When are you done with cookin? I wanna cuddle.” he mumbled pouting.
“It’s almost done.'' We will eat something and then we can cuddle. I really need some cuddle time right now.”
After the food was finished you ate
After that you changed into your sleep attire and went to bed
“Now is cuddle time.” you announced and Shoto immediately wrapped his arms around you tightly
You could hear his heartbeat and it was just perfectly calming
Your hands massaged his scalp and he sighed relaxed
“You are the most perfect partner. I am so thankful for you.” he whispered into the darkness of the room
your heart swelled with love, but taking and replying to compliments was still hard
“Says you. You make me feel alive, like I can finally be myself again. Thank you for being there after a horrible day.”
The serenity filled the room
He shuffled towards your face and kissed you on the cheek
“My love, we should go to sleep now after this exhausting day.”
You knew him so well you new his cheeks were blushed
“You’re right. Goodnight, I love you.”
“I love you more, love”
Toya/Dabi Todoroki:
The heist went wonderful and all of you went back into your hiding
“Go to sleep, we will discuss our next mission tomorrow.” grumbled Shigaraki
“Sleep well shiggy.” hummed Toga as she walked to her room
The other ones also disappeared and Dabi finally talked to you again
“What the fuck were you thinking? Kurogiri nearly needed to take you to this motherfucker Overhaul.” he tried not to scream, but it was still to loud
“I just protected you.” you shrugged your shoulders and went into your shared room
“You risked getting caught and hurt. The heroes don’t give a damn about our lives. You could have fucking died.” he yelled by now
You felt guilty and you tried to avoid his gaze
He put his fingers under your chin and made you look up to him
“‘m sorry, but I can’t lose you. You’re the first person to make me feel like I am worth something and not a total loser. I just need you, you are my real family.”
You didn’t know what to say or what to think, so you just hugged him
He also wrapped his hands around your waist and kissed your head
“You’re not going to lose me. We live a risky life, but I will stay by your side. Always” you mumbled at his chest
You stayed like this for sometime, but your legs got tired
“Can we lay down, my leg is still hurting?”
He simply nodded and carried you on the slowly crumbling bed
He never interrupted his touch on your body
Even after you fall asleep, he still hugged you
Natsuo Todoroki:
The energies, the coffee and the zero sleep made i hard to concentrated on the book in front of you
The illustrations and letters were just one colorful soup on paper
You stopped reading and walked to the dorm of your boyfriend
Health students were the unlucky ones who had to have classes until afternoon
So you could maybe take a quick nap in his room
BUt as you entered his room he was already there
“Had a good day, babe?” he asked you as you entered
You just shook your head and instantly set on his lap
“Sweety, you should really take more care of yourself. Drinking coffee and energys doesn’t help you with studying.”
he stroked your back soothingly
“I am just so stressed. Everybody has good grades and I am just passing. I want to be better.”
“But you’re destroying yourself. The grates of the others don’t matter as long as you are healthy it’s alright. Passing is pretty great in college. You are such a smart person. Besides that (your major) is a pretty hard subject, you will be fine.”
You hummed in disbelief, but didn’t wanted to argue, since Natsuo always had his way to cheer you up
He would be a great doctor in the future
He hugged you tighter and hummed a song to you
With every second you grew more tired and you finally drifted off to sleep
Fuyumi Todoroki:
The kids finally were able to go home and Fuyumi waved them goodbye
She got her bag and papers and also left the school
You've been waiting a few minutes to pick her up from her work, just like every day
She opened the door of the car and entered it
“Hey, honey. How was your day? Did the kids pay attention?” you asked her with a bright smile
“Hey. They were playing a prank today and put a fake spider into my desk.” she smiled, but it didn’t reach her eyes
“Oh no. Nasty children. Are you alright? They didn't meant to scare you that badly I assumed.” You patted her back awkwardly in the small car
“It’s fine. I just want to go home”
you drove off and got her home
Accompanied by a pleasant silence you entered the apartment
“Lets forget about the day and just cuddle on the couch.” you said and walked towards the coll leather sofa
“But what about..” she started, but you silenced her with a kiss. “That can wait. We can do it tomorrow.”
You guided her towards the couch and put a blanket around you two
“Are you comfortable?” you asked and she nodded in response
You held her close and creased through her white hair
“I hate spiders. I was so frightened.”
“I know darling. Tell your students please that they should never pull another prank like that.”
Your grip tightened around her
You just wanted her to finally feel safe

idk why but dried fruit with Touya-nii's natsuo sounds like it could be rlly cute!! if it hasn't been claimed yet i'd love to see that
Tumblr media
prompt: dried fruit series: touya-nii warnings: 18+ minors do not interact, stepcest, toxic relationships, implied drug addiction, facefucking, natsuo being scummy just like his older brother taught him to words: 1k
waaah sorry this wasn’t really cute anon >.< but i hope you enjoy anyway!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“These aren’t the same as gummies,” you mumble out through a pout, taking a particularly vicious bite out of a dried apricot, fruit sticky and stringy.
“No, but they’re better for you.”
“Not better for your teeth.”
“If you want to get technical,” Natsuo begins, fixing you with a look. “They are, even if it’s only marginally.”
With a sigh, you glance down at the coffee table, chucking your half-finished apricot on the wood with a dense splat. “They’re yucky, and I don’t like them.”
“You don’t have to eat them,” Natsuo reminds you, voice hardening. “They’re merely meant to be a substitute for your apparent gummy candy addiction.”
“How come you and Touya-nii get to have vices, and I don’t?”
It’s brave, bold, a grumbled out statement that sounds as crumpled as your forehead looks, that slips unconsciously from your lips, your eyes widening a little as the last bit leaves your tongue.
Natsuo’s surprised, too, abundantly evident in the widened eyes mirroring yours and the soft rush of air that leaves his mouth.
Muscles stiffening, you brace for the impact, for the bellowing and the berating you’re sure is to follow after such a rude remark, expression teetering on a wince, anticipating the blow.
But then the shock fades from Natsuo’s face, a peculiar type of amusement eating through it, and he laughs, loud and deep, enough to send gentle tremors through the hardwood floor.
“You’ve got a bit of spitfire in you today!” he hollers, smile so wide you can see the dried fruit welded to his molars, muted colours filling the dips and dimples. “Oh, if niisan could have heard you say that...”
And although it’s sighed out in amusement, the sentence makes your heart plummet, ice curling around your organs, slow and steady, and you shiver, skin rippling from the impact.
“Please don’t tell Touya-nii I said that,” you nearly whimper out, an automatic plead, desperate and wavering with the threat of tears.
Your statement seemingly sobers him, eradicating all remnants of amusement from his face. He regards you carefully, a hint of suspicion tainting his features; narrowing his eyes, screwing up a corner of his mouth. “Why shouldn’t I?”
It’s in these moments that you see a flash of Touya, a residual film of Touya’s impact, glimmering in gunmetal eyes.
“He deserves to know when you’re being a brat, doesn’t he? How else is he supposed to correct your behaviour otherwise?”
It’s difficult to tell if Natsuo’s actually serious, facial features expertly schooled into a mask of passivity, a talent passed down and perfected from his big brother.
“I—I didn’t mean it, I swear! I was jealous; it was just a stupid thing that came out of my mouth!”
“And that somehow justifies your bratty behaviour? Irregardless of the reason why you said it, you still said it. That’s the important part here.”
“I—No, of course not,” your head is shaking, hard and fast, tears rapidly collecting in your eyes. “I’m sorry, I just—I shouldn’t have said that. Please—”
“Apologies don’t teach lessons, sweetheart.”
His arms cross over his chest, muscles bulging against the hem of his short sleeves, and he raises a brow in question. The corner of his lips twitches, threatening to grow into a lopsided smirk, but his eyes are sharp, gleaming with shards of inquisition.
“Please, Natsuo, I’ll do anything,” you whimper, the words trembling and airy, beseeching gaze darting around his face. The thought of disappointing Touya, of upsetting him, is more than you can possibly bear, a deep, heavy ache taking root in your chest, sinking through flesh and blood to settle at your core. “Just don’t tell Touya.”
Anything turns out to be taking his intimidatingly impressive cock down your pretty little throat.
It’s fucking massive; so thick you can barely fit a fist around it and ivied with gorging veins that twine around the shaft, throbbing in time with each surge of blood rushing southward. It’s already leaking, so much that pre-cum has rolled down the head to collect in his foreskin, milky and pearlescent; so much that it paints the back of your throat in one bitter stroke of translucent ivory as he shoves himself into your waiting mouth.
It’s over surprisingly quickly; Touya-nii likes to fuck your throat, too, rougher and faster than Natsuo did, and usually can’t cum until he’s made a thorough mess of your face—eyes so overflowing with tears that your lashes are soaked, clumped into spikes with teardrops teetering at the points; salt and sweat streaking your cheeks, all shiny and crusty and dry and tight; spit and pre-cum steadily oozing from the corners of your lips, dribbling down slow and viscous to glaze your chin and drip off your jaw.
But Natsuo doesn’t seem to need any of that, filling your mouth with thick, hot cum the moment after a singular tear breaks free from your wet lashes, streaming down your cheek and leaving the prettiest glittering trail in its wake.
As it turns out, none of this even matters, Touya arriving home from his workday with a knowing grin on his face, eyes alight with the thrill of it all.
He doesn’t even need to say anything.
You can read his facial expressions almost as well as he can read yours, now.
“Natsuo!” you cry, gaze flying to his face. “You said you wouldn’t tell!”
The words quiver with your bottom lip, too stringy and whiny than you intended.
“Aw, don’t act so upset,” Natsuo waves you off with a hand, though mirth shines on his face, chiseled into his smile, swimming in his eyes. “You know the guilt would’ve eaten away at you anyway, and you would’ve ended up telling him on your own. I just sped up the process.”
The betrayal stings, cheeks prickling with fire as if he had physically backhanded you, but you should’ve known better; how could you have been so stupid, so naive, to believe that he’d actually keep a secret for you, that he’d actually ever go against his big brother, your big brother, for you?
Because Natsuo preens beneath his big brother’s praise, straightens his spine and puffs out his chest when Touya claps an approving hand on his shoulder, clamping down and digging into plush muscle. Because Natsuo smiles so brightly, so widely it must hurt his face, lips stretching and cheeks bunching up, when Touya tells him he did a good job.
And, really, how could you ever compete with that?

Morning with Natsuo
Tumblr media
There aren’t enough Natsuo fics so I decided to start making my own!!
Contents: SFW! Snuggling and sleeping in with your boyfriend Natsuo :>  Reader is hinted at being shorter than Natsuo (Less than 5 '11 / 181cm) I use Y/N in this so I recommend using a name changer for your browser. (I use  “Deadname Remover” which you can find on chrome web store)
You squinted and yawned as you woke up to the sunlight poking through the curtains and shining in your eyes. You could hear Natsuo shuffling around behind you underneath the bed sheets as you lay tucked into the covers to avoid the blinding light of the morning sun. Peeking over your shoulder to glance at your boyfriend behind you, you watched how his body moved as he breathed.
“Mph… ‘can feel you watching me Y/N,”
Your eyes widen when Natsuo speaks. You had known he was awake but you had always failed to remember how he can practically sense when your eyes are on his body. He turns over to face you and you gaze into his steel grey eyes.
“G’morning Natsu~” You whisper as you run a hand through his silky white hair that he had washed the night before. He groans softly and inches closer to you to press a messy wet kiss to your forehead while gently running his hands down your sides, pulling you closer to him and rubbing your hips. You’re practically smushed into his chest as he buries his face into the top of your head and proceeds to press kisses into your scalp.
Sitting up to get a better look at your boyfriend you smile to yourself at how lucky you are. Somehow you were blessed with the gift of meeting this perfect boy and somehow he’s all yours.
“What’re you smiling about?” He giggles, sitting up with you and pressing a kiss into the corner of your mouth.
“Nothing. Just thinking about how much I love you,” You hum, narrowing your eyes and holding the sides of his head to give him a real kiss. You both drape your legs over each other and squeeze each other tightly wishing you could stay in bed and cradle each other for longer, but eventually the two of you decide it’s finally time to get up and begin your day.

pairing: vampire!natsuo todoroki x f!reader
word count: 3.5k
about: natsuo is handsome, well dressed, charming, and everything you’ve ever wanted but something tells you there’s more to him than meets the eye - given you can only see him after the sun sets.
contents: sfw, no smut here but suggestive behavior in the final scene. modern au, the todoroki family are vampires, natsuo is mid twenties and so is reader, a scene containing touya, fuyumi, and shoto, meet cute, reader struggles to sleep at night, mentions of blood. i will be further elaborating on this dynamic/au in the future!
notes: part of thot-o-ween 2023! welcome to week three! this is just good ol fashioned halloween romcom nonsense you'd come to expect from me. natsuo was the pinkprint and deserves his time in the sun so this is the first of TWO stories about him. the next will have smut, pinkie swear, but in the meantime hopefully this is something everyone can enjoy! thank you for reading ♡
Tumblr media
Natsuo Todoroki, at his core, is a morning person.
How is one a vampire and a morning person? The two ideas seem contradictory but it’s just who he is, unable to be changed no matter how much time passes.
As a child, he would solemnly park himself at window sills and wrap himself up in the complicated and lacy curtains his mother dressed them in to keep light from getting inside. Waking with the sweet song of the birds outside his own heavy curtained windows, he’d watch the orange ball rise higher and higher into the sea of blue that it would come to rest in, only to be pulled away by his older siblings or his mother tutting at him for messing with the curtains again.
He wondered what it would be like to be the sun. Bright and blazing, warming everyone around him without effort. It’s just what the sun naturally does.
Now, as an adult, he shoves his hands in the pockets of his scrubs after his shift in the emergency department ends and wonders what it must be like to be the sun as he wanders out onto the streets, zipping his jacket up over his chest and sinking into the warmth. It’s cold and wet in a way that is typical of an October night, the sliver of the moon sinking lower and lower as the sun begins to make her ascent to start the day.
He works his overnight shift for obvious reasons.
Dr. Todoroki’s reputation as affable and easy to work with is something the entire shift celebrates when he’s scheduled. He is well liked but nobody bothers to ask him to stick around once the shift is over because he’ll turn down the offers anyway.
There’s nothing more that he enjoys than his walks before dawn. It’s the only time he can even get this close to daylight, to feel the world heat up while he remains cold.
Tonight, though, he isn’t alone on his walk and he’s all too acutely aware of where you walk several feet away from him on the adjacent sidewalk. He smells you long before he sees you, one of his fangs that keeps retracted at all times jutting out of his jaw and slicing his lip, and after verifying he isn’t bleeding he decides to keep a respectable distance despite his concern for your well being.
Why in the world are you out walking the city sidewalks by yourself at 3:58 AM?
You notice him, tall and broad and wearing green scrubs that obviously indicate he just got done working at the hospital, but you keep your distance. Walking the city is a choice you make well aware of the danger that could befall you but you also live by the “don’t start any and there won’t be any” mantra when it comes to trouble. So far it has served you well but it isn’t like you’ve ventured far from where you live, only around 6 blocks away from your tiny interior apartment.
You struggle to sleep at night, trying every remedy under the sun but it never comes, so you walk until you can’t think any longer. You pace until you stumble into your home after the sun rises, almost too exhausted to move and then finally you are tired enough to sleep.
Looking around the sidewalk, you splash in a puddle and hear a chuckle from the sidewalk across from you. Natsuo stands, hands still buried in his pocket, glancing at you from the corner of his eye and curiosity gets the better of you so you turn in his direction with your arms folded across your chest.
“What’s so funny?” Your tone is light hearted and he catches onto it immediately, gray eyes casting you more than a sidelong glance. The distance between the two of you keeps him from getting too good of a look at you but he likes what he can see.
Natsuo finds you undeniably attractive, there’s something sweet about you besides your scent, and it makes him even more anxious to know you’re pacing all alone. The area around the hospital tends to be pretty safe but he worries what would happen if you went further down the road, where the amount of street lights grows fewer the further you go into the residential areas. So he bites, simply in an effort to make sure that you’re alright and will be okay after he departs.
“You, I guess.”
You laugh and he feels a thousand sunrises in his chest. Whatever he witnessed through curtains, whatever he has seen rising above the horizon like a beautiful balloon in the sky will never compare to this. He isn’t sure how to act so he slaps his hands against his thighs, shrugging and offering his signature Dr. Todoroki grin, toothsome and bright.
“I’ll be here all week.”
There’s an undeniable pull between you and this man but you stop just short of walking across the street. He seems safe and trustworthy, a good haircut and a killer smile but all of those traits were also attributed to Ted Bundy at one point or another so you decide to play it safe and stay in your place across from him, arms folded over your chest to ward off the chill in the air.
He watches your body language change and tries to match it the best that he can, keeping his hands buried in his pockets and his chin tucked into the collar of his jacket. Making you anxious is the last thing he wants and he won’t prod if you aren’t interested but his gut tells him to take a chance, to break the silence and see where it gets him.
So he does.
“Seriously though, why are you out here at this time of night?”
Shrugging, you squeeze yourself where your arms are wrapped over your torso. It’s a soothing action, the equivalent of a hug. You feel better after it.
“Do you want the long story or the short one?”
“Whichever you’re most comfortable sharing.”
He chuckles again and you focus on his face, deep dimples visible even from several feet away and your heart beats hard against your chest. He’s handsome, he’s funny, he’s obviously employed…you shake your head to loosen this line of thinking, still holding yourself tightly when he takes the steps toward you to close the gap. You hop back from the edge of the sidewalk slightly, keeping a bit of distance between the two of you, and Natsuo feels that ache in his upper jaw that indicates his teeth are going to descend.
He takes ten steps to the side of you, leaving ample room between your bodies, and the ache stops enough that he can focus on what you’re about to say. You appreciate how respectful he is of your space although you have no idea his reasons aren’t wholly altruistic and it softens you toward the man further.
“I have never really slept well at night,” you start and he hums empathetically. He understands more than you could begin to know. “Even when I was a kid, it’s like sleep terrified me. Closing my eyes and not thinking and just being for a while. What could be more terrifying than not overthinking all night?”
“I get it. I have the same problem, that’s why I’m on overnights.”
You nod, smiling at him.
"Good to know there's someone else that doesn't have good luck with melatonin gummies."
A kindred spirit. Perhaps that's why you still feel so drawn to him despite the ten big steps between your bodies and you relax for the first time since he laughed at you, taking the time to really look at him now that he's so close.
He's just as handsome as you imagined when your mind was filling in blanks from across the street, hair as white as snow, tanned complexion, gray eyes. It's intimidating to see a man who looks like he belongs in the pages of a magazine face to face, much less one who is obviously flirting with you and you shift your weight from foot to foot.
Noticing your discomfort, he decides to introduce himself.
"I'm Natsuo. I'm a doctor." He cringes at himself upon realizing what he just said but you smile, arms still folded but posture slackening. "I don't know why I felt the need to tell you that."
You introduce yourself and he takes the time to memorize your name, repeating it and savoring the feeling of it across his tongue. A name as pretty as the person carrying it.
"It's okay, at least I know that you aren't some creep that stole a pair of scrubs off of the dude you just beat down for them. Unless..."
Natsuo laughs and heat rushes to your cheeks.
"Nah, I'm more of a lover than a fighter. My fatal flaw some might say."
You laugh and that same feeling blooms within him, rivaling the sun that is steadily beginning to rise over the buildings in the distance. He sighs when he sees it, removing his hand from his pocket and rubbing it over his face.
"I don't want to be weird or anything but I do this every night and..." he trails off, uncertain of what he wants to ask you, but you seem to get the message.
"I do, too. Same place and same time?"
Smiling, he nods and begins to walk in the direction opposite you toward where his car is parked at the hospital. He has to get home before the sun rises and he'll be cutting it close if he continues to slow play his departure but it's worth it for another second spent around you.
"Thanks for tonight. I needed it," you admit aloud and his ears turn red in response, bright and vivid through the snowy white hair barely covering them.
"I'll see you tomorrow."
Tumblr media
“Where do you think you’re off to lookin’ so pretty?”
Natsuo rolls his eyes as he readjusts the buttons of the long sleeved shirt he donned just for the occasion of the evening while his brother reaches up and attempts to ruffle his meticulously spiked hair. It isn’t hard work for him to dodge his shorter brother but he shoves him with his shoulder anyway, frowning.
“Stop it, Touya. I’m not going anywhere you need to know about.”
The thing about saying those words in reference to you, feeling them leave his lips in shapes he would rather not experience, is that they make his stomach flip. Anxiety turns the organ inside out, the man sighing through an army of uneasy butterflies in his stomach. He knows he can’t tell anyone about you, least of all his family. They have their own secrets but they’ve always strictly forbidden the taboo romance between a vampire and a human knowing it only ends in pain.
He’ll risk the trouble for you, though.
You - sweet, easy going, beautiful. Glowing with life beneath the dimly lit booths you snuggle in to press your knees against his long after the sun has set. Grinning as you grab his hand beneath the surface of the bar four blocks away from your apartment and two away from the hospital, the floors sticky with substances neither of you have cared to imagine.
It has been months since that fateful first dawn walk, the two of you making a habit out of striding side by side. Natsuo ignores the ache in his jaw, you ignore the way he hasn't asked you for anything physical yet beyond holding hands, assuming he's just a little old fashioned.
“I’m starting to think you have a secret, little brother.”
He's keeping secrets from more than just Touya; the guilt gnaws at him if he thinks about it too long so he doesn't.
Natsuo shakes his head and raises his brows, a smirk playing across his lips. He happens to know where his own brother goes after the sun sets, eagerly bringing books and paintings to the home of the vampire that has been alleged to have started their family curse by biting Enji, their father; a woman perpetually 26 despite the many many centuries that have passed since her turn.
“No worse than the one you’re keeping, I can assure you that.”
With that, Touya clears his throat and takes his space, fiddling with the strings of his sweatpants rather than making eye contact with his brother. Caught red handed and he knows it, he chooses to play offense rather than explain himself.
“You know about that?”
His younger brother smiles and claps him on the back with a nod.
“Keep mine and I’ll keep yours?”
“Obviously, dumbass.”
Taking a deep breath, Natsuo rolls his shoulders and lifts his hands to his hair, fingers running through it to calm him down. He yanks at the strands for a moment, thick fingers twining between the white strands, and Touya wonders what has him so uncertain.
It’s not like he’s dating a human.
“I’m seeing someone and we have a date tonight.”
Oh, he’s dating a human.
“Jesus, Natsu,” Touya’s brows pinch together in the middle and he wraps an arm around his brothers’ shoulder, pulling him to his side. “You’re such a simp.”
Scoffing, the taller of the two looks down at his brother and frowns. He’s never truly astounded by Touya’s audacity but it does catch him off guard considering the only bigger rule you can break than consorting with a human in the Todoroki household is the one he’s currently attempting to bend.
“Who taught you that word? Your thousand year old girlfriend?” Touya returns his scoff, shoving him with the arm that isn’t wrapped around his shoulder and raising his voice. “She isn’t a thousand fuckin-”
Before he can finish the sentence, Fuyumi peaks around the corner and arches her brow wordlessly. Neither of the men can hide anything from their older sister so they don't bother, scooting over to let her into Natsuo's walk in closet just like they used to do as children when they were discussing the events of the world.
"So you're both breaking the big two?"
Natsuo sighs and nods sadly but Touya chuckles, clapping his sister on the shoulder just as he did his brother. That's one thing the siblings have always appreciated about one another - everyone is equal. Equal to give shit to, equal to protect, even Shouto who they all go to pains to take care of even more than the older siblings do one another.
"Please don't tell dad," Natsuo isn't above begging if it means he gets to keep you. He looks up at his sister through his lashes and she smiles back at him. "Of course, Natsu. We're all breaking some rule at the end of the day."
Both of her brothers raise their eyebrows and she shrugs, zipping her lips dramatically while the youngest of the four peeks around the corner with a deadpan glance.
"What are you guys doing in here?"
They look at his mismatched eyes and bunch together, making enough room for the fourth of them to squeeze inside.
"Natsuo's dating a human."
Fuyumi and Natsuo open their mouth to gasp and Shouto shakes his head. How his elder siblings haven't noticed at this point is beyond him, given Natsuo narrowly stumbles in the door as the sun rises every single morning, but the youngest has always been the most astute of the bunch.
"Yeah, obviously. He reeks of her every time he comes home."
Despite the terror of being caught, Natsuo belly laughs. There's nobody else he could be shoved in a closet with, admitting to lying to their parents and breaking the codes of honor the entire family have taken seriously as long as they've existed.
They all have secrets, Fuyumi was right. He is relieved and he feels full of love, group hugging his siblings and squeezing them as tightly as he can until all three start to groan and slap at his biceps.
"Okay well now that the cat is out of the bag can you guys leave me alone? I'm already running late."
Fuyumi and Shouto are the easy sells, wishing him luck and leaving to go gossip across the house but Touya sticks around, looking at his little brother that has become a full grown man with his own life and career and apparently, love.
He's proud but he'll never say it out loud instead choosing to further antagonize.
"Does she know?"
Natsuo shakes his head and Touya hisses through his teeth, clapping his brother on the shoulder and walking out of the closet.
"Good luck with that."
He knows that he'll need it.
Tumblr media
"Do you want to come inside?"
This is the first time you've offered the option to Natsuo, his discomfort with any physical affection keeping you from broaching the subject this far, but the time feels right. The two of you spent the evening at an outdoor art show, admiring pottery and painting with your hands joined.
You are undeniably attracted to this man and you hope that you aren't misreading his affection toward you as more than simple friendliness, your evenings spent with him some of the best you've had since you can remember. Your hands remain linked, fingers twined and dangling in the small space between your bodies where you both lean against the frame of your front door.
Natsuo smiles down at you and it feels like the world disappears, walls and floors and atmosphere melting into something that doesn't matter when he looks at you. You've known it for awhile but there's no denying it - you're in love with him and asking him to spend the night, or morning rather, feels like the most logical next step.
His hesitation makes you doubt yourself, though.
"You don't have to, Natsuo. I know you're busy an-" he cuts you off by grasping your cheek with his free hand, thumb running along the soft skin beneath it. He has never been this close to you before, his teeth aching despite his self restraint, and he knows that tonight he must decide to be honest or leave you behind.
The thought of leaving you behind breaks his heart. You are the sun that he has so badly craved his entire life and there's no way he can continue without you, even if it means telling the truth and putting you both in the way of trouble in the process.
"I want to."
Smiling, you reach for the door and unlock it, keying in the code that you know he watches. You hope he has it memorized, if not you'll remind him again later. The lock unlatches, a mechanical whirring in the door, and as soon as the door opens he has you pulled against his body.
Pressed against the door, he finally kisses you. It's hungry, something raw and fiery beneath his exterior coming to the surface and you know that you'd let him have every bit of you right here on the floor if he wanted it. The scent of his cologne and the feel of his hands across your sweater clad body make you moan into his mouth and you yelp when something pokes your lip, assuming he nipped you a little harder than intended.
Mortified, Natsuo backs away from you with wide eyes and you see his tooth poking out of his top lip. The tip of it is dotted with blood from your lip and he backs away from you unable to hide his horror.
"I'm so sorry, I..." he mumbles a string of apologies and you put your hands on his chest to stop him, close enough to him that his body reacts naturally and his second fang descends through his jaw and peeks out of his top lip to join the first.
Your wide eyes gaze at him but hold no fear and he marvels at you. You are so trusting, so brave, so kind despite now knowing he's a...
"Vampire."
It takes all of you to contain the smile on your face from becoming too big when the word leaves your lips. You had an inkling something was different about him but you never assumed it would be this.
Dr. Natsuo Todoroki, your walking buddy, your companion, is a vampire.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner."
Using the grip you have on his chest, you pull him down until he's face level with you. The same smile dances across your face and you waste no time kissing him for real this time, paying no mind to the way he whimpers when his tongue laves over the small puncture wounds his teeth have left on your bottom lip. You let him lick over the spots until he gets his fill, head swimming and heart full.
"Yeah, me too, because I would have done all of this months ago."
Natsuo laughs, kissing you again. His brows knit together when he laps at another pinprick of blood on your lips, another sweet groan leaving him.
You taste as good as you smell and his instincts tell him that you've just given him a tiny taste of all you're willing to offer.

Summary: Natsuo is your childhood best friend and long-time crush. But you've never taken the chance to tell him how you feel. What happens when the chance is almost taken from you entirely?
Tumblr media
“Hey, Y/n! Are you free tonight?” Fuyumi’s voice chirps through the static of the phone.
“Uhh, yeah. I don’t have any plans,” You reply. “What’s up?”
“Weeell,” Fuyumi drags, and you can tell she’s excited about whatever is going on. “I invited Shoto and his friends over for dinner as well as dad. Natsuo is coming over too! I thought I’d invite you since, y’know, you’re basically family. It felt wrong not to!” You chuckle at Fuyumi’s enthusiasm.
“Haha, yeah sure, I’d love to. But…” You hesitate. “Is it really a good idea to try and have dinner with Natsu and your dad? You said it didn’t go well last time…” You wilt off, the image of a teary-eyed Fuyumi as she described the disastrous dinner to you entering your mind.
“Ahh, yeah,” she mutters. “But, I’m hoping that having you and some other guests might make it less tense?” She says, though it sounds more like a question that a statement.
“I think you underestimate how much it’ll take to make things ‘less tense’.” You chuckle, shaking your head.
“Oh, come on! Natsu’s always a lot calmer when you’re around, maybe it’ll help!” You sigh softly at the sound of desperation in Fuyumi’s voice. Ever since you were kids, all Fuyumi wanted was a “normal” family. She would talk to you about it all the time. So would Natsuo, especially after Toya’s death. All they wanted was a loving family, but instead, they were left with a broken home. And Fuyumi was doing all she could to try and fix it.
“I’ll be there,” you affirm. Fuyumi squeals on the other end and you can picture the bright smile spread across her face.
“Awesome! Be here around 6, ‘kay?” She says. You both say your goodbyes and hang up. You grunt as you throw yourself back onto your bed, face buried in your pillows. Although you know it’ll be an awkward night, you’re still looking forward to seeing your childhood friends, especially Natsuo. With your busy school schedules, you hardly see each other anymore, despite being on the same college campus. You smile giddily, butterflies fluttering around in your stomach and chest at the thought of getting to sit down and eat with him.
Having Enji and Natsuo in the same room will be hard, but maybe dinner won’t be so bad.
Right?
Tumblr media
“Y/nnn!” Fuyumi exclaims as she throws her arms around you, squeezing tightly.
“Haha, hey Fuyumi!” You laugh, hugging her back. “Ugh, I’ve missed you so much!”
“I’ve missed you too!” Fuyumi grins, eyes scrunching from her bright smile. You pull apart and Fuyumi steps aside to let you in. You place a hand on her shoulder, using her for balance as you remove your shoes. “I’m so glad you could make it! Natsu’s already in the dining room if you want to join him. I’m almost done with food and the others should be here soon.”
“Okay!” You reply, placing your pair of shoes next to the others. You part ways, Fuyumi heading back to the kitchen and you to the dining room. You grip the handle to the shoji door and slide it open gently. Natsuo looks up from his phone at the sound of soft wood scraping wood, eye’s lighting up when he sees you in the doorway.
“Y/n!” He says, happy to see you. You slide the door closed before skittering over to him, falling to your knees and wrapping your arms around his neck. He wraps his arms around your torso, face digging into the side of your neck. You both breathe in deeply and melt into each other, tense muscles relaxing at each other’s touch.
“I haven’t seen you in forever,” You say, words muffled by your arms.
“You saw me last week,” Natsuo chuckles.
“I know. But it feels like forever!” You unwrap yourself from him to look him in the eyes only to look away immediately, blushing at the proximity. You push off him lightly, scooting yourself back to sit in your own seat. “I’ve just really missed you,” you say delicately, a slight blush still dusted across your cheeks. Natsuo looks at you with a sheepish smile.
“I’ve really missed you too.” A silence falls between you for a moment and you squeeze the hem of your shirt nervously.
“So, I was a little surprised when Fuyumi told me you agreed to coming over,” you faltered. Natsuo tenses and looks away from you, gaze focusing on the wooden grain of the table. “I know it’s hard for you, but it really does mean a lot to her.” you place your hand on his, grasping it gently. “Just- please… try to be civil. For her?” There’s a long pause, and you can tell he’s battling to find the words.
“I told Fuyumi I’d come for dinner… I’m not making promises to stay any longer than I have to,” he muttered, still avoiding your eyes. You sigh softly.
“Okay,” you conceded, not wanting to press the matter any further. “Thank you for still making the effort to come though.” The grimace on Natsuo’s face softens, and he nods. You turn at the sound of the door sliding open and are met with five faces, two of which were unfamiliar. You feel Natsu’s hand stiffen beneath yours and you give him an encouraging squeeze before letting go.
“They’re here!” Fuyumi walks in, the others following closely behind. Everyone shuffles around the table to take a seat, the awkward tension in the air already thick. With everyone placed, Fuyumi sits up on her knees.
“Let’s do introductions again,” she began. “I’m Shoto’s older sister, Fuyumi. I teach at an elementary school nearby.” She turns to you and Natsuo sitting beside her. “This is Natsuo, Shoto’s older brother. He’s currently in college.” Natsuo scratches the back of his neck and gives a short greeting. “And this is Y/n,” Fuyumi continues. “She’s just a family friend, but she’s so close we might as well be related. She goes to the same college as Natsu.” You give a shy little wave to the two strangers.
“Shoto, this is where you introduce your friends,” Fuyumi prompts, looking over to her youngest brother.
“Oh, right,” Shoto says. He introduces his two classmates, Midoriya and Bakugo.
“It’s nice to meet you!” Midoriya says enthusiastically, though a little nervously. Bakugo scowls at him. He clearly doesn’t want to be here. You catch the way Midoriya’s smile drops slightly and you know he’s noticed the tension between Natsuo and Enji. Fuyumi clears her throat.
“Let’s eat before the food gets cold! If there’s anything you don’t want, don’t feel obligated to eat it! I won’t feel bad,” she says. Everyone gives her their thanks before filling their bowls. As you all eat, Midoriya gives his praise to Fuyumi’s food, impressed by how good it is.
“I’m not surprised,” Natsu says. “Fuyumi’s been cooking for a long while since our housekeeper had a back injury.”
“You would cook too, Natsu,” Fuyumi injected. “We would take turns.” Shoto seems surprised by this and turns to his brother.
“Does that mean I ate your food growing up?” Shoto asks. Natsuo’s face twists.
“It’s possible, I can go overboard with seasoning though,” he answers. “Endeavor might have kept you from having it. He always did keep an eye on your diet.” He states, giving the man at the end of the table a glare. You hear Midoriya and Bakugo choke on their food.
“I supposed there is truth to that,” Enji acknowledged. Natsuo looks away with a frown. You drop a hand under the table and place it on Natsu’s knee, silently reminding him of your earlier conversation. Try to be civil. For her. Natsuo inhales deeply, returning to his food to finish the little bit left in his bowl.
“SO!” Fuyumi jumps, trying to recover from the passive aggressive interruption. “Shoto, what kind of food do they serve at the school?” She inquires. Fuyumi’s topic change only lasts long enough for Shoto to answer before Enji speaks again.
“Natsuo,” he says, turning to the white-haired man. “I’d like to try your cooking next time.” You look to Enji with slight surprise. You feel Natsuo take your hand, removing it from his leg before placing his bowl on the table with a clank. He stands up.
“Thanks for the meal sis,” he says, ignoring his father’s words. “I came like I said I would, but now I’m done.” He walks towards the door to leave.
“Wait, Natsuo!” Fuyumi pleads. Midoriya and Bakugo grunt in shock again.
“Wait a second!” You say, standing up yourself.
“I’m sorry, I just can’t do this,” he mutters before sliding the door closed behind him. An uncomfortable silence fills the room. You look down to Fuyumi whose eyes are welling with tears. You sit back down next to her, placing a hand on her shoulder as she quickly wipes at her face.
“Uhh, I’ll go ahead and start cleaning up now. Please, finish eating,” Fuyumi says, her happy tone covering up the pain twisting at her heart. She stands and starts picking up empty plates and dishes. You follow her lead, picking up whatever was unneeded. You follow Fuyumi to the kitchen, placing the dirty dining ware in the sink. You hear a sniffle and turn to see Fuyumi crying softly into her hands.
“I- I just want… I just want us to get along,” she cries. You walk over to her and wrap your arms around her, hugging her tightly.
“I know…” You whisper. Shoto walks in with more dishes, stopping short when he sees his sister crying.
“Is everything okay?” He asks concerned. Fuyumi quickly pulls away from you, sniffling more intensely and rubbing her eyes. She turns to her little brother with a smile on her face.
“Yeah!” She exclaims in her usual cheerful voice. Shoto walks to the sink, placing his dishes down.
“Everyone is done eating,” he says quietly.
“Thanks, Shoto,” you say kindly. The boy nods and walks back out of the room. Once Fuyumi has composed herself, the two of you walk back to the dining room to help finish cleaning up. Fuyumi insists that Midoriya and Bakugo not help, but they’re also adamant to lend a hand. When there’s only a little bit of clean up left to do, you catch Fuyumi, telling her you’re going to head out and try to catch Natsuo. She nods in understanding before giving you another tight hug.
“Thank you for coming,” Fuyumi wavers. You squeeze her even tighter.
“Of course,” You smile. “You’re my family too, you know.” Fuyumi chuckles at this.
“The sister I never had,” she says. You both laugh light heartedly before saying your goodbyes. You walk back to the dining room to give Shoto a hug and say goodbye to his friends as well. You walk quickly to the front of the home and throw on your shoes and jacket, hoping to be able to catch up to Natsuo. But you’re surprised when you open the front door and see the man standing in front of the home, looking up at the sky.
“Natsu?” You call. The man shifts his gaze over to you and gives you a faint smile.
“Hey. I thought I’d wait so we could walk back to campus together.” He breaks eye contact and scratches the back of his neck nervously.
“You didn’t have to do that,” you laugh gently.
“I know, but I wanted to,” he practically whispers. You smile at him and start walking.
“Thank you.”
There’s an odd silence resting between you as walk, both of you thinking about dinner but neither wanting to address it. Natsuo finally speaks up.
“I’m sorry for leaving, Y/n. I just… I can’t stand to be around him,” he seethed. You glance at him before looking back to the concrete pathway.
“You don’t have to apologize. I’m not upset,” You sigh. “Fuyumi was a little hurt though…” Natsu winced.
“I know,” he mutters. Another pause.
“Hey, Nat-” you cut yourself off when you see the paint lines on the street start to move, lifting from the pavement. Before you or Natsuo can process what’s happening, multiple strips of street paint are flying towards you.
“Watch out!” Natsuo shouts and pushes you to the ground. You grunt at the impact and push yourself onto your knees. You look up to see Natsuo hanging above you, wrapped and bound in dried, cracking paint.
“Natsu!” You cry. You hear a deranged chuckle come from the street and you look to find the source. Your eyes widen when you see a man dressed in striped clothing walking towards you, the same strips of paint tied to Natsuo wrapped around him.
“Hahaha, got you!” He says giddily. “Too easy.” Before you can say anything, the villain is bolting off, taking Natsuo with him.
“No! Let him go!” You yell. Without thinking, you chase after them, shoes pounding at the sidewalk. But it’s only a moment before you lose sight of them. No. What do I do? What do I do! You quickly pull your phone out of your pocket and search for the right number. The phone rings for only a second before a deep voice answers.
“Hello?”
“Mr. Todoroki! It’s Natsu!” You panic.
“What happened?” Enji questions. You place a hand over your eyes, trying to calm yourself down enough to explain.
“We were walking back to school and a villain attacked us. He took Natsu!” You hear the man inhale sharply on the other end.
“Do you know where they went?”
“I-I don’t. I tried to follow them bu-but I couldn’t keep up,” you stutter. There’s a sudden noise of tires squealing followed by muffled grunts and shouts.
“He’s here!” Enji says. “Y/n, go back to the house and wait there! I’ll handle this.” And with that, he hangs up. You stand there frozen in shock. You feel your eyes sting and your vision begins to blur. There’s a loud boom in the distance and you whip around to see thick, dark clouds of smoke. That must be them. You turn on your heels and sprint back to the Todoroki household, ignoring the burning in your lungs from both exhaustion and panic.
“Fuyumi!” You call as soon as you step through the front door. You run into the kitchen to find Fuyumi finishing up the dishes, putting away dry plates and bowls. The woman turns around, her face twisted in confusion.
“Y/n? What are you doing back here?” She asks with a giggle. Her expression drops when she notices the hot tears rolling down your face. She puts down the ceramic plates and walks over to you. “What’s wrong?” You press your cold hands to your face, trying to stop your tears.
“Na-Natsu… He-”
“Natsu? Did he do something?” Fuyumi asks, thinking her brother was the reason for your tears. She takes your hands away from your face, squeezing them comfortingly. You shake your head and take a deep, shaky breath.
“A villain took Natsu,” you whimper. Fuyumi freezes.
“What?” She whispers.
“We were almost to campus and a villain came at us. He took Natsuo and ran.” Fuyumi doesn’t say anything, she just stands in shock, gripping your hands in hers. “Enji said he saw them; he told me to come back here.”
“So, dad’s there… It’s okay! He’ll save Natsu and bring him back safely. It’ll be fine!” Fuyumi says, trying to suppress her panic. She forces herself to move, guiding you over the table by your hands. “Shoto and his friends are there too, they’ll help him!” She makes you sit down before walking to a cabinet and pulling out a box of tea leaves.
“I’ll put on some tea, okay? We can have some girl-talk. Just don’t freak out, dads got it.” Fuyumi says encouragingly, though it sounds like she’s speaking more to herself than to you.
The two of you sit at the table, teacups in hand. Fuyumi tries to distract you by telling stories from school, recalling all of the ridiculous and hilarious things her young students have done. And it works, for a while at least, soft giggles leaving your mouths every now and then. But, despite the laughter, both of your minds are still whirling with anxiety, every worst-case scenario being pictured in graphic detail.
Fuyumi glances at you, staring mindlessly into your cup, eyes focused on the swirling tea leaves left behind in the translucent green liquid. Almost an hour has passed and you’ve yet to take even a sip. Fuyumi studies your face, noticing that, under the expression of fear, there’s something else.
Frustration.
Fuyumi smiles and laughs softly, breaking you out of your trance.
“What?” You ask, puzzled. Fuyumi shakes her head gently.
“You really like him, don’t you?” Fuyumi asks, though her tone makes it sound more like a statement than a question. You blink, trying to push away your distracting thoughts for long enough to understand.
“What?” You ask again, even more confused now. The older girl laughs again, this time much more lighthearted.
“I’m talking about Natsu. You like him.” She states bluntly. You stare at her, completely caught off guard.
“I… I don’t know,” You mutter. But you do know. You have for a while. Ever since you were kids, you’d felt differently towards him. The silly childhood crush you had on him never really went away, but instead, continued to grow and mature as the two of you aged. You felt pride in being the person he could go to, and you hoped he felt the same about you. Whether it was sadness, anger, or even just needing to vent after a long day, you were each other’s first go-to.
You’re so grateful for the friendship you have with him. So grateful that you don’t know where you’d be without him. So grateful that you’re willing to do anything if it means he’ll always be in your life. Even if it means bottling your feelings for him and living with the painful, dull ache that tugs at your heart.
And yes, you were frustrated. Annoyed because you’d spent your whole life avoiding the feelings you had for Natsu. Discouraged because you’d naively told yourself you had all the time in the world to one day take the chance and tell him how you feel.
And now, that chance may be taken from you entirely. And you can’t stand it. Your gaze falls back to your now cold tea, hands gripping the fragile glass tightly.
“I think-” You begin to speak but are cut off by the sound of the front door creaking. You and Fuyumi stiffen, eyes locking. Was that the front door?
“Hello?” a familiar deep voice bellows through the halls, a tinge of concern evident. You both simultaneously let go of the breath you didn’t know you were holding, the warming sense of relief flowing over you. You jump from the table and dash to the door to see Enji standing in the foyer, Natsu behind him. Fuyumi lets out a sob and runs to her brother, holding onto him like he’s about to disappear.
“You’re okay!” She cries. Natsuo wraps his arms around her, a muttered “yeah” falling from his lips quietly. His eyes widen when he looks past his sister to see you standing in the doorway, heavy tears streaming down your face and your shoulders jerking in silent sobs. Fuyumi breaks away from him, wiping the tears from her eyes. “I’m so relieved.”
You walk over to him, unable to see the expression on his face for the blurry tears filling your eyes. You throw your arms around his torso, face pressing into his chest.
“I was so scared,” you whisper.
“I’m okay.” He hugs you back tightly. As you part, you subconsciously reach for his hand, taking his larger one in both of yours. Enji lets out a heavy sigh before turning to Fuyumi.
“Listen,” he starts with a solemn tone. “I already told Shoto and Natsuo. I know you’re trying to get things ready for your mother to be able to return home peacefully. We’ve placed that burden on you, but it’s too much for you to handle alone… Don’t worry about it anymore.” Fuyumi looks at her father with faint concern.
“I’m going to build a new house. It’ll be in a better location for everyone. Your mother will be discharged soon, you can welcome her home there.” He removes his shoes and makes his way into the house. “I apologize for the late notice, but you should start preparing to move.” Natsuo turns away and you catch the saddened, almost pained look on his face, and you squeeze his hand.
“Wait, Dad!” Fuyumi calls, her voice cracking. “What about you? Won’t you come with us?” She drifts off, almost hesitant to ask. There’s a pause before he answers.
“I’ll be staying here,” He replies bluntly. Fuyumi gasps softly and you wince, feeling as though you heard her heart break yourself. There’s another long pause of silence, the air slowly becoming thick with tension. Enji continues to walk down the hall. “Natsuo, Y/n, Kurumada is waiting outside. He’ll escort you back to school.” And with that, he leaves. The three of you stand there in silence for what feels like forever.
“You two should probably go,” Fuyumi whispers. She turns and gives you a smile, but you can see the small tears forming in her eyes. She walks over to you and wraps her arms around your and Natsuo’s neck, dragging him down to your level. “I love you guys.”
You and Natsuo hug her back, whispering “I love you too” in return. You all let go of each other and it’s only then that you notice you’re still holding Natsu’s hand, and you realize a part of you is almost afraid to let go. You say goodbye to Fuyumi and step outside into the cold, making your way to the car sitting outside of the wooden gate.
Natsu opens the car door and you shuffle inside, finally dropping his hand. The drive to the school is quiet aside from Kurumada’s occasional grumbled comment about “idiots on the road”. You have your head leaned against the window, lost in thought as you watch the street lights whiz by. You finally make it to the school and step out of the car, bowing to Kurumada in thanks before he flies off.
You and Natsu walk in silence to the dormitory. You flinch ever so slightly when you feel Natsu’s hand take yours but soon relax at the comforting warmth of it. You enter the dorm building, still hand-in-hand, coming to Natsuo’s dorm first. You both stop in front of the door, each waiting for the other to speak. A light gasp escapes your lungs when Natsu pulls you gently by your hand into his chest, large arms embracing you desperately. You feel tears slowly return to your eyes as you wrap your arms around him, pulling him closer.
“I was so worried,” you whisper, trying your best to hold back the sobs caught in your throat. “I was so afraid I might lose you.” Natsuo pulls you impossibly closer, placing a hand on the back of your head. The heavy cries you were trying so hard to keep back break through, tears soaking into his jacket.
“It’s okay. I’m okay,” He comforts. He holds you there for a while before pulling away just far enough to see your face. His wipes at your tears, thumbs tenderly stroking the soft skin of your cheeks, and he does so until they come to a stop. He smiles at you softly and runs a hand over your hair. “Try to get some sleep tonight, okay?” You pause for a moment before rolling you eyes with a small giggle.
“You’re crazy if you think I’ll be able to sleep after all of that,” you joke. Natsu laughs quietly. Another silence falls over you but this time it feels less tense.
“Why don’t you stay here tonight?” Natsu offers. You look at him, eyes slightly widened in surprise.
Sure, you’d shared a room, even a bed with him in the past. Being childhood friends, it was something that happened occasionally. But tonight? Something about staying with him tonight felt different. And yet, a part of you was still almost afraid to leave his side, as if he’ll vanish as soon as you do. You nod your head, wordlessly accepting his offer.
“Okay,” he says, taking your hand once more. He walks closer to the door and unlocks it, guiding you inside. You both take off your shoes and jackets, placing them by the door. Natsuo walks over to his dresser, digging through it for a moment before turning back to you with t-shirt and sweatpants in hand. “Here, it’ll probably fit pretty big, but its better than jeans, right?” He jokes, a genuine smile on his face. You giggle and take the clothing from him, muttering a thank you. You walk into the small bathroom to change.
When you come out you see Natsu, who is now in his own pajamas, sitting on the bed, surfing through movies on his tv. “I thought we could watch a movie or something. Your pick!” He says, and you notice that his usual calm-but-happy tone is returning. He lifts up the edge of the throw blanket he has hastily tossed over his legs and pats the empty spot next to him.
“Why does it feel like you’re comforting me more than I’m comforting you? You’re the one who got kidnapped after all,” You chuckle. You make your way over to the bed and sit down beside him, shoulders brushing, and you miss the brief look of nervousness splashed across the man’s face.
“Nah,” he waves his hand dismissively. “You being here is comfort enough for me!” You feel your face warm and you pull the blanket up to your cheeks in hopes of hiding your blushing.
The two of you scroll through the massive selection of movies, silently agreeing to avoid action and thriller type films. You’d both had enough action for one night. You eventually decide on a comedy drama, something lighthearted. You lean against Natsuo, your head just barely resting on his shoulder, and you feel him relax, a soft sigh leaving his lungs. About 20 minutes into the film, you begin to feel like things are normal again, the anxiety in your system finally dissipating. It’s just you and your childhood best friend, watching a movie like you used to do every weekend before your schedules got busy. Childhood best friend. Friend.
Fuyumi’s words come back to you suddenly. “You really like him, don’t you?” You glance at him, his eyes and mind completely focused on the film in front of him, entirely oblivious to the thoughts occurring in your head. Your eyes trace the outline of his profile and you drink in his every detail. His strong jawline, the swell of his lips, his sharp and angular yet soft and kind eyes. It’s at that moment that you know, it’s no longer some silly childhood crush. It hasn’t been for a while now. It’s something more serious, more mature than that. something that, no matter how much he frustrated you or made you sad, would never change.
And the thought that you could have lost him? It made you nauseous. You almost lost your chance to ever tell him what’s on your heart. And you won’t run the risk of losing it again. You turn your eyes back to the tv, yet your attention is no where near the events happening on the screen. You feel your heart start to pound and you ball your hands together in hopes of calming it.
“Natsuo,” you say, and you’re almost surprised he hears you considering how quietly you spoke. He turns to you with a soft hum in acknowledgment.
“Everything okay?” He asks when you don’t say anything, despite having called for his attention. You want to look at him, but the thought of saying what you’re about to say while looking him in the eyes is too much. So you keep your eyes trained on your hands. You squeeze your hands tighter and take a deep breath.
“I love you, Natsuo… I have for a long time, I was just too scared to admit it,” you confess. You feel the man’s gaze harden on you, but he doesn’t say anything, so you continue. “When that villain ran off with you, I was terrified that might be the last time I ever saw you, and I was so mad with myself for having never said anything.”
He still doesn’t say anything and you finally muster the courage to look over at him. But you rip your eyes away as soon as they meet his, a look you can’t quite decipher on his face. Embarrassment and anxiety take over as you begin to ramble, trying to make your confession not sound so serious.
“I know we’ve been friends for a long time and that’s probably all you view me as. I understand if-” Before you can get another word in, a hand is placed gently on the side of your head, guiding your face back to his. Next thing you know, there’s a pair of soft, warm lips on yours. You freeze for a moment, your mind being slow in processing what’s happening. And before you can, the warm sensation is gone and he’s pulling away. You look into his eyes with shock and only see love in his.
“I love you too,” he whispers. He grins brightly before it drops into a smaller, caring smile. You feel your body relax, any worry leaving immediately and instead replaced by those familiar butterflies.
“To tell you the truth, I’m not sure I realized just how much I do until tonight. A lot was going through my head, but one of the main things was realizing how much I love you and how I might never get the chance to tell you that.” He says all of this while looking you directly in the eyes with an expression he’d always kept hidden from you in the past. One full of deep love and care. “I’m so glad I didn’t lose the chance.”
“I love you, so much,” you say, feeling oncoming tears for what feels like the millionth time that night. But this time, they aren’t of pain. Natsuo looks at you, eyes soft and a blush across his face. He pulls you close, lips barely brushing as he speaks against them, cool breath fanning you face.
“I love you too. More than you know.” He presses his lips fervently against yours, his hand snaking behind your neck and your arms wrapping around his. You feel him smile onto your lips before laughing quietly, breaking your kiss. You pull away and place your forehead tenderly against his.
“What?” You ask.
“Your pulse, it’s really fast,” he states. You roll your eyes jokingly.
“I think that’s what happens when you kiss someone you like,” you quip. He chuckles and gives you a mischievous smirk.
“Why don’t we make it a little faster?”

natsuo wakes up earlier than his alarm these days.
perhaps he's trying to be polite and avoid waking you but you'd rather wake up to him even if it's earlier than you should, beeps jolting you right out of REM sleep.
either way, that's not the only reason. things have started to pile up at his clinic and he's been going into his office earlier and earlier to get a head start on overdue patient notes, and every day he brings more and more of his work home with him. you wish you could help and you do help, with reminders to take breaks to refresh his drying eyes or walk around, or to eat a hot meal,
but you can only do so much to get through this rough patch.
plus, it isn't always a walk in the park for you either. even if your home is safe, the outside world will often be demanding of your time, resources and strength without being so kind to provide anything in return. both of you do what you can. you grin and bear it; he tries to but his temper can get the best of him, and you'll sometimes hear about it.
"tech tried to write me up," is the first thing he grumbles as he enters the genkan.
"i'm sorry to hear that, babe," you offer, helping him take off his coat. he wishes he came home earlier than you so he could do the same for you. your eyes watch him in anticipation, eager to hear more, even though things have not necessarily been easier for you.
natsuo sighs. just a moment of your sympathy is enough to pacify him, he realizes, then he remembers acutely how much he loves you and how lucky he is to have you. pulling you into his arms, he takes a deep breath while you rub his back.
you're surprised slightly as he hoists you up suddenly before stepping into your home together.
"natsuo?"
he grins.
"i'm trying to support you better," he jokes and you roll your eyes playfully at the lame joke. he kisses you on the lips.
"how was your day?"
"terrible." you reply, but you're not frowning yet.
he narrows his eyes. "who do i have to yell at?"
you sigh. "no yelling. just stay here and tell me you love me."
he beams at this and the genuine happiness of it brings a smile to your lips as well.
"thank goodness that comes easy to me."
