I just had this thought earlier today what if even post neck brace removal regina continues being clingy??? Like okay walk with me here, spring fling clingy Regina happened because she was on painkillers and was a bit out of it yes???

WELL IMAGINE she still takes pain killers for her chronic pain, but it’s inconsistent, so no one really clocks it and assumes she’s just gone back to her usual self (albeit maybe a bit nicer) BUT she gets a flare up at school and the painkillers kick in and Janis walks down the hall and IMMEDIATELY she just latches on to her??? And Janis ofc is just baffled and confused because wtf why???

Hey, I had a thought for the fantasy au! So on one of the previous versions of the WH website, there was a rhyme for the show that went:

A house is a place with four walls and a floor,

with a ceiling above and a lovely front door.

There's a bed to cradle you safely at night,

and windows to bring in the morning sunlight.

Your house is a mirror of just who you are,

A reflection that tells you to never stray far.

Which I thought might make a good incantation for when Wally properly summons Home (I can't remember if that's ever required for Warlocks but hey, it's still a fun poem regardless).

Just imagine, orca eclipse find two baby orcas (Sun and moon), and he just decided to adopt them and bring them to y/n.

Eclipse: Happy day, we are parents now. Our babies :)

That's in character for him—Eclipse would be very concerned about abandoned siren young and immediately tend to them, protecting them from predators and feeding them. Once he confirms their parents are gone or dead, he would graft them into his family unit.

Baby orca sirens are incredibly adorable, so as much as you might be shocked by Eclipse becoming a sudden father (you are also a parent now, he just hasn't told you yet), the little chirping babes are very compelling. It would also show you a side of Eclipse you never imagined before... and it's very sweet.

This is stupid but HOW did Gideon learn the "jack-off" motion? I'm trying to imagine her life on the Ninth House; just her, Harrow and a bunch of ancient and devout nuns. Most people on the ninth avoided Gideon. WHO would do it so young Gideon would parrot it? Aiglamene? Crux? ORTUS NIGENAD in a fit of personality?

And another thing that gets me about the human condition is how we weren't even meant to survive this world alone - humans with humans. We chose to trust certain animals, to nourish them, to be symbiotic with them, to love them like we love ourselves. I think a lot of people talk about how selfish it is for humans to take advantage of animals, but I think that's too simplistic. It's closer to friendship - if you do not foster the relationship, then it simply won't go anywhere, and I think the implication that animals can't ever know anything for themselves, for their survival, is also human-centric and selfish (selfishness not inherently being a bad thing).

It's just nice to know that we want to be around people - we want to be around comfort and security and safety so much that we now have animals by our side. Every time I cuddle with my cat, I think that we weren't meant to survive this world alone; she is shaped to fit in my chest, and my arms were made to wrap around her.

ESPECIALLY if they're stubborn in nature? #it just seems human-centric to think that all animals are at the mercy of us and could NEVER think or feel #and even then!!! we won't ever KNOW because they have different thoughts and feelings and perspectives we won't KNOW ABOUT #maybe we should just bask in the company and love that animals give us without worrying about committing Awful Heinous Sins #YOU ARE A PART OF NATURE. YOU ARE ALSO AN AMIMAL. YOU CAN SURVIVE WITH OTHER ANIMALS #when you take the time and care to learn about animals you can even relate and feel for them and understand a little better #i just love that humans tend to pack bond so intensely that it doesn't just apply to other people #our instinct to love and care is a good thing. our pack bonding will help us survive. #to live is to be 'selfish'. it is you IMPERATIVE to be selfish
