I took a deep breath and randomly sat down on Carol's lap as I looked away, she looked at me with wide eyes as a light shade a pink crossed her cheeks.

I looked at her and tilted my head slightly.. "something wrong, carol?" I asked softly as I gently touched her cheek. She looked at me still with a shocked look until she gave me a sly grin. "..Daryl put you up to this sweetheart?" She asked.

I blushed darkly as I tried to get up only to be pulled back down by the waist. "Stay honey.." she whispered and buried her face into my neck..all I could do was smile excitedly and blush from this whole thing.

I saw Daryl give me a small smile as he left..that man knew what he was doing..

Another thing I love about loving a butch is how much our identities include each other. Regardless of our relationship we have always looked out for each other’s communities. Even without our love for each other love has always existed within our identities. Even without my partner I am a femme and will always act as protection for any butch, masc, or stud and they’ll do the same for any femme. Together as a couple that goes even deeper. They will always care for me the way a butch cares for a femme but on top of that the way a butch romantically takes care of a femme and vice versa. I adore that. I’m absolutely in love with loving butches as a femme, I love the history that links me to butches. Obviously you don’t need to be attracted to/date butches to be a femme but you do need to understand the history behind both identities and how they have always been connected, but for me so much of my femme identity has to do with loving and caring about butches. I will always feel the most affirmed and loved and adored on the arm of butch and I don’t think that could ever change.
