NCT AG at MAMA 2021

Backstage

Backstage at the red carpet the girls were goofing off with their members as they waited for their time to walk the carpet, which was LOOOONG!!

Aurora was the smartest out of everyone in NCT and asked her manager to carry her switch with them. So when the group found out they’d be stuck in their room for awhile, Aurora found an unoccupied corner and sunk into her farm in stardew valley

Aurora’s manager made sure to pack a blanket just in case she sat on the floor. Eventually Jisung made his way over to her and made her shoulder his personal pillow

Moxy kept her eye on Taeyong all day but when the made it to their dressing room and saw his eyes looking weaker, she grounded him from walking the carpet

“Your health is more important than a stupid red carpet. Doyoung can handle it in your absence. In the meantime, you’re gonna stay here and get some rest or else.” Yes ma’am”

Juno meet up with Sunghoon from Enhypen. The became friends when Sunghoon was still skating. 

Awards

Like I said in the AG catch up post, AG was nominated for three awards, Best Female Group, Best Dance Performance - Female Group and Worldwide Fans Choice Top 10

Sadly the group didn’t win best female group or best dance performance 😔😔

“If best dance performance was judged based on sheer difficulty, AG would have had that in the bag..”

“Do the mama judges not understand how hard it is to not only shuffle but shuffle in time and synchronized!!!”

“YO AG was robbed of best dance performance!”

“While DILT wasn’t AG’s best TT, it’s up there as their most iconic dance for me.”

But this year AG didn’t leave home with nothing. After their performance, it was announced that AG won Worldwide Fans Choice Top Ten!!!!

Our girls had tears in their eyes after finally winning their first award at mama

The AG managers got to videos from the groups win. The first was of the girls screaming in surprise after it was announced they won. The second was of their members in their dressing room cheering the girls on.

In the members video, you can see Johnny, Taeyong, Doyoung and Jaehyun taking pictures and video looking like proud parents

Performances

During the NCT Dream performance, Aurora leather jacket was cropped and had the opposite pattern of Jisungs. Her flames were at the top.

Aurora looked so cool during this performance. Many netizens were commenting on her facials during Hello Future being vastly different during Hot Sauce

“I need to know how Aurora goes from being cute and happy-go-lucky to ice princess death glare so quickly!”

Many nctzens found Jisung giving his hand to help Aurora out of the hot sauce bottle prop super sweet

For Favorite and Sticker, Moxy was wearing new versions of her ICONIC dress from the Favorite promotions. Her hair was styled in a top bun with wisp’s of curls framing her face

Fans were happy to hear Moxy’s Favorite high note live

AG’s mama performance was called Emergency: Do It. SM actually gave AG a proper stage with dances, props, special outfits, and remixed dance break

The girls were wearing their iconic denim outfits from the Emergency video with a little extra MAMA sparkle!

To start the stage, two ambulances backed onto the stage blaring their alarms. As they backed in, the dancers ran onto the stage to their places. The camera zoomed in, out and shook to emphasize the chaos. 

Once the song starts, the girls burst out of the backs of the ambulances and strut to the front of the stage while messing around and dancing with their dancers on the way there

At the second part of the stage, the part closest to the fans, the girls did the rest of the choreo on the the sand pit built into the stage.

As Emergency ended, the song was remixed to flow straight into the bridge of Do It Like This. The girls made special choreo for the walk back to the main stage just in time for AG to shuffle in time with all their dancers. 

SM actually got the DILT dance break remixed with new choreography that the girls rocked as usual. This new remix added a solo section for Hannah that she choreographed herself.  The performance ended with the girls back facing the crowd, eyes looking over their shoulders.

The performance went viral. Even non-NCT fans were posting about it.

A/N: My first NCT work, my second tumblr work. The YouTube video, it isn't too much inspiration. Just that he said he has no friends at school. And my fanfic brain got triggered. But seriously though, it was so sad that he said he has no friends, but he said it while he was smiling TT 

When Jisung first heard that he was to go to school now, he was very stoked. He wanted to make some new friends, party sometimes and have the time of his life. Unfortunately, school wasn't what he expected it to be. It was like there was a hierachy built, keeping the popular students up the top and allowed to do whatever they wanted.

The middle ones kept to themselves, and had a small group of loyal friends with each other. They were tightly knit and it would be impossible join them. But then there were the ones who suffered the most. The lower ones. Most of them wre nerds, some of them were just people who unfortunately transferred to this school.

Some of them were the ones that the top popular students were jealous of. Jisung didn't know which sub category he was a part of but he definetly knew that he was a part of the bottom. It wasn't a good life, getting slammed against lockers, getting locked in the bathroom, or maybe just shoving him. 

But he didn't want to tell anyone about this. The teachers knew that the students bullied people, and yet they turned blind eye to it. Of course, he could just tell anyone of his NCT hyungs, but he wanted to be seen as a man, not as a small child. So, he kept quiet. 

Until it got too much.

3 of them had teamed up and locked him in the top floor of the school, where the janitor only visited a month, so no way for her to save him. He started banging on the door, hoping someone would hear it and come save him. His wishes, thankfully were fullfilled. 

You visited the rooftop daily, and this time wasn't going to be an exception. When you heard all the banging, you immediately went there to try and save whoever was stuck inside. You saw the 3 sticks placed right under the door to prevent anyone from coming out. You removed the sticks and opened the door.

Inside stood Jisung, his eyes shiny with tears. Boys don't cry, boys don't cry, boys don't cry he chanted in his head. He looked up to see whoever his saviour was, wanting to thank them. He saw you. Of course he recogonized you. You were the only one to break the hyrachy of top, middle and the bottom.

You didn't fit in anyone of them. The bullies had tried to bully you, you bullied them back. You poured orange juice on the head of the daughter of the principal of the school. Nobody dared to mess with you after then and everybody left you alone. At first, even Jisung was scared of you.

I mean, who wouldn't? You dressed in black, you had all black things, you sat at the backseat of your class, you had loads of doodles that looked like tattoos all over your body, and some even said you smoked! But he didn't know that none of that stuff was true.

He did know now though. From that day onwards, you had become friends. You weren't cold as they all called you to be, infact you were a really soft and shy person. But your demeniour changes when somebody bullies him. You stand up for him, and send them away. Jisung was really thankful he found a friend he could spend the rest of his school days with.

Until that one fateful day. You were absent today and Jisung was worried on how you were doing and what was wrong. It didn't cross his mind once that the bullies might try to have a go at him because you weren't there. In the end of the last period they came. Jisung had packed all the things he needed in his bag and was ready to go.

But they were there to stop his path. One of the biggers ones grabbed him by his shirt and dragged him into one of the cleaning rooms. "Huhh.. Your girlfriend not here to protect you?" He looked up in confusion. "G-Girlfriend? I don't have a girlfriend?!" The one that stood in the front sneered.

"Then what do you call that bitch? what was her name again, jake?" He turns to one of the boys he has standing behind him. "Y/N. Y/N L/N" The leader/ one in the middle smirked. "Ah yes. L/N. She poured her juice over my girlfriend. Time to get revenge, don't you think, boys?"

Jisung looked on in fear as Jake brought forward a a big bottle of banana milk. The leader removed the lid, and poured the entire thing over Jisung. Wet. Smelly. Disgusting. Ugly. He couldn't do anything. His hand was held by one of the men behind him. All he could do was stand on as they poured the milk on him. 

Once they were done, all of them smirked at their work. "Disgusting weakling, needs a girl to protect him. Lets go boys" And all of them left him alone in the janitors closet as he stood, silent tears streaming down his face. He quickly wiped his face and got out a change of cloths from his bag.

He changed his clothes in the bathroom and walked out to the car waiting outside for him. All the while, their words repeated themselves like a broken record in his head. 

"Disgusting Weakling, needs a girl to protect him"

The next day you came to school, all healthy and recovered from the small cold you had gotten a few days ago. You skipped up to Jisung. However he had a aloof expression on his face. You frowned. He was normally never like this. He always greeted you with a smile. What was wrong?

"Hey Jisung!" You said, standing in front of him. He avoided your gaze and swerved around you, continueing to walk to his class. You speed up to him. "What's wrong? Tell me! Is there something wrong? You know you can-"

"JUST SHUT UP AND LEAVE ME ALONE ALREADY!"

The whole halway turned around to watch in shock. Jisung was never the type of person to shout at anyone. "O-Ok..." You walk away from him, your steps slow as a part of your hearts yearns for him to stop you and apologize. When you don't feel him coming, you break off in a sprint, running the opposite direction from your class. 

Behind you, Jisung watched you with sad eyes. Then, he turned to all the people staring at him. "DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU AS WELL?! MIND YOUR OWN FUCKING BUISNESS!"

They all turned around. 

He found you on the rooftop that evening, your knees pulled up to your chest as you hugged yourself. As soon as you spotted him out of the corner of your eye, you pull yourself even closer to yourself. Jisung winces at the effect he had on you. He comes and sits beside you, a resonable distance away. 

"I'm sorry for yelling in the morning...." You turn your back to him, childishly. He smiles at your attitude. He inches closer, and closer and closer, before gently placing his hands on your shoulders. When you don't flinch away, he turns you around. 

"I'm sorry. Yesterday I was bullied.. They called me weak because I always had you beside me to protect me.."

Your eyebrows crease when you hear this. "Are you ok? Are you hurt anywhere?" He laughs. "No, I'm okay!"

Your head lay on his lap. The pair of you had talked about totally random stuff the past hour and now the sun was about to set. Jisung watched you on his lap, the sunlight casting a beautiful glow on your face. His eyes landed on your lips, the soft layers of muscle. Unconsciouslly, he found himself leaning in and pressing his lips onto yours. 

You were shocked for a minute, before you responded to the kiss. It was sweet, innocent and childlike even. Once you broke apart, both of your lips were red as so were your cheeks. "I-I've liked you for a long time... Would you want to be my girlfriend?" 

"Of course"

Thoughts under the cut

Slogging it out to an awkwardly placed venue in the industrial part of Marrickville on a gloomy rainy day was not the best start to the night, honestly. But the lines moved pretty efficiently and we were inside in no time, in a venue where I've seen acts like Patrick Wolf, The Pipettes, Good Charlotte… good times, good memories!

Inside the mood was pretty chill, busy but not sold out or packed, with people handing out fan project banners and passing along glowsticks. By the time the DJ was done and it was time for the main act, I was more than ready.

To set the scene - Dreamcatcher originally debuted as Minx, but rebranded and came back a few years ago with some new members, a new name and a new concept. Ever since relaunching as Dreamcatcher, they've been your go-to rock, goth, nightmare witchy kpop girls. And they're wonderful at it! Is there anything more delightful than seeing them perform what looks like a lesbian vampire cult ceremony? NO THERE IS NOT!

Though I have to say - not delighted about their name and imagery. That's the one big conflict about being a fan and why I wrestled with the idea of going and why I'm never going to fully commit to them.

I also felt it was important to get out there and show support for a girl group tour. Since 2014, the only ggs that have toured Australia have been 4 Minute, Girls Day and WJSN (both at Kcon 2017), and Blackpink. We need more girl groups!!!

Anyway if it weren't for the name/imagery caveat… I would be considering going full stan after this show. In this little indie venue, with no backdrop or fancy lighting, no VCRs and only a few ments, the focus was really on them and they were fully capable of holding that spotlight. They put on a great show and were excellent, polished, charming entertainers.

It's been said they only have one song, and I get that there's some samey-ness to their "anime opening theme rock song" sounding-singles, but it's a really good song and they did demonstrate some light and shade. They also were pretty cute in their stage interplay and call and response to the crowd, enough so that I could distinguish between more than half of the members by the show's end (I only knew 1 member, Dami, going in).

A few more observations:

In Korea, girls stan boybands and boys stan girl groups. The rule is not so hard and fast in the West, where girls are the biggest consumers of pop, so I was bit surprised to see and hear so many men in the audience at this show. Hmm.

Yoohyeon said she had an Australian connection as she'd been to Australia before and enjoyed her time.

They did a full group cover of Havana, and then a boyband dance medley of BTS's Boy With Luv, Exo's Loveshot, Ateez's Hala Hala, Monsta X's Alligator, and NCT 127's Simon Says. I LOVE ggs covering boyband dances!

For special stages, Sua and Siyeon did a cover of Taemin's Goodbye and I shrieked. Those two might be my faves… I always love the dancey ones…

The other members did covers of Twice's TT and Red Velvet's Bad Boy. Again, I shrieked.

When You and I played, rapper Dami did the baton trick and EVERYONE SCREAMED! It's what she deserves! Dami was the only one I knew going in and I love her a lot, she brings so much to the group and to their stage presence - without her, they would be such a different group.

Very cute end ment with bunny ear headband being passed around to every member.

Unfortunately, their next show in Melbourne was cancelled due to a fire at the venue. Very sad!

Day 12- Underneath the Tree

Perhaps leaving your boyfriend to haul the Christmas decoration boxes out of the attic wasn’t the best idea, except you weren’t exactly left with a choice when you had to run to a meeting with a professor about an essay you had written on the day you had put aside to decorate your Christmas tree together. I mean, the day was technically free until your professor emailed saying that they only had a certain time available to meet you on that day so could you please come in and meet me so we can discuss the marking of your essay thanks. So, when you left your flat with your boyfriend sitting on your sofa with a massive grin on his face and numerous reassurances that he was going to be fine and wasn’t going to ruin your apartment left you with a feeling of slight dread.

And dread was definitely the right word when you stumbled into your apartment, cheeks flushed with cold, and finding your living room looking like a Christmas shop gone wrong. Bundles of tinsel and lights laid all tangled together, baubles strewn all over the sofa and floor and somehow the tree still wasn’t put up properly. But more concerning, your boyfriend was somehow tangled up in bits of tinsel you didn’t even know you had as he tried to fix the branches of your Christmas tree.

“Jaemin, how did you manage to get tangled up in tinsel?” you sighed, unwinding your scarf and placing it on the back of your sofa, making your way over to your grinning boyfriend.

“Well, you would NOT believe this, but here I was trying to empty the boxes of tinsel. By the way you have a lot of tinsel? Anyway, thanks for helping me unwind this tinsel off me, but yeah, unloading the boxes I decided that I want to wear a tinsel boa you know for the Christmas aesthetic and dance to some Christmas songs. HOWEVER I put one piece of tinsel on but they were all tangled up and then I kept spinning around to Kelly Clarkson and the next thing I knew I’m trying to put the tree up but my arms are tangled in tinsel and I can’t move and I’ve ruined Christmas!” Jaemin recited dramatically as you were untangling him from the seemingly endless strings of tinsel and you even found a string of lights wrapped underneath. You just rolled your eyes at his antics, knowing that you really should have told him to wait for you to get back.

“Well, you do know how to make a memorable Christmas tradition don’t you? Next time, we’ll decorate the tree together and I’m going to TRY and fix whatever you did to my poor tree. Take it out on Jeno or something, not my tree Na Jaemin!” you fondly told him, dumping the tinsel onto the sofa and making your way over to the tree and trying to salvage the bent branches, crying internally at the amount of pine needles decorating the floor.

“I’ll… go and make hot chocolate or something?”

“Good idea, Na, then maybe i’ll let you put the star on top of the tree”

okay so you probably noticed that i didn’t update this series for nearly a week and it’s bc i had finals last week and then i had to pack and i was travelling seoul before coming home yesterday TT but i’m back so im going to be posting the catch up days over the next few hours/days so please anticipate

I’ve felt like I’m experiencing my first crush again whenever I look at Renjun and I’m so head over heels for him,,,help,,,,not a college au but everyone ‘00 line and up is preparing to start college. I might have to explain that college, for me, starts at the end of August and high school starts at the beginning of September. The legal age to drive where I am is 16 but most people start driving around 17 or 18.  I WAS GONNA QUEUE THIS BUT UH MY ONLY SPOT OPEN IS AT THE END OF NOVEMBER AND I WANTED TO POST THIS.

         It was the last day of summer. People were preparing to go back to school. Supplies stores bustled with parents and their kids as they try to purchase everything on the lists the teachers handed out the last day of school the previous year. Mall lines long with customers buying new clothes. This was the last bit of teenage summer you and the other 00 liners would have before you started college. You knew things would change and it made your heart ache every time you thought about it. Some of them were leaving for school and some were staying. You, Jaemin and Haechan were staying for college. Mark, Jeno and Renjun were leaving. It broke your heart to be separated from them, especially Renjun. For the longest time, the both of you have been aware of each other's feelings but never did anything about it. You didn’t know if you would survive without his laughter that rang like the clearest bells or smile that made you feel like nothing else mattered. You two found yourselves spending more and more time together as the summer neared its end. Late nights talking about anything, sleepovers where you two would watch movies too scary for the both of you, going to Mark and Jaemin’s birthday parties and being practically attached at the hips. You were going to miss him.

         You were in the middle of packing your backpack for your first class tomorrow. You sat on the floor and went through your list of books required while listening to Mark’s playlist he made for everyone. You made sure your pencil case had pens and pencils. Your phone stopped playing music and your ringtone rang instead. Your phone lit up and you saw Renjun's name pop up across the screen. You accepted the call and held the phone up to your ear. There was no greeting just giggling.

“Hey, look outside your window!” You got up from your seat on the floor and saw Jeno’s car in the street. The same beat up car Jeno used to back up into your fence, the same car he used to drive everyone to prom, the same car that held so many endless memories. Jeno mentioned a while ago that he would be getting rid of it soon and buy the car he’s been eyeing, he finally saved enough for it. You saw that Jaemin was in the passenger seat, waving to you from the rolled down window. Haechan did the same he called your name. Renjun was up through the open sunroof with the phone pressed against his cheek as he used both arms to wave to you.

“What are you guys doing here?” You asked as you stared at Renjun from your window. His face broke out in a large smile as he replied.

“We’re spending the last bit of summer we have left, diner food and then we’re going down to the beach. Join us?” His voice sounded hopeful but he knew well enough that you would agree. Renjun saw your face mirror his smile and spoke into the phone before going back down into the car.

“We’ll see you soon,” he said before he hung up. You quickly changed out of your lounge clothes and into a big tee-shirt and a pair of jean shorts. You looped a belt around your waist and tucked the shirt in before pulling some of it out. You picked out a pair of mismatched socks, grabbed your phone and your wallet. You texted your mom that you would be out and be home by the time she came home from her nightshift. You opened the door and waved to the boys while you laced your shoelaces. Renjun got out of the car as you locked your door. He happily hugged you and kept his arms around your shoulders from behind as you two walked to the car. You saw the sunlight reflect in Jaemin’s eyes as he greeted you. Haechan yelled for Renjun to get off of you so he could give you a hug. He constantly jokes about how Renjun stole you from him. You recalled being sat next to Haechan in your 3rd period math class during your first year in high school.

         “The middle seat is the worse. I can’t believe you’re making me sit here,” you said as you sat next to Haechan. He pulled out his phone to take a quick picture of you and him to put up on his social media.

You smiled at the camera while Jeno looked at you from the mirror, you could see his eyes smile, “who told you to live the farthest?”

“Oh just drive,” you giggled out as you wrapped the seatbelt across your body. Renjun got back into the car and strapped in also. Jeno started to drive, Jaemin turned around to look at you.

“Any music requests?” He waved his phone and saw it open on a screen full of songs. Haechan immediately went off to listing songs to Jaemin all of which were in Mark’s playlist.

         It took 15 minutes to get to the diner. Everyone filed out quickly and through the doors. Renjun instinctively slung an arm around your shoulders as you two walked. A waiter happily greeted you all as he walked everyone over to the largest booth they had. It was tucked in the corner of the diner and you remember sitting there during your days of high school.

         Everyone ordered things like fries, burgers and milkshakes. When it came for you to order, Renjun recites your order like he’s reading off a page. When the waiter leaves, you nudge him.

“What if I wanted the vanilla milkshake today?” you asked him as you and Jaemin looked at the desserts page.

“You cringed at it when Haechan offered you some last time we were here.” You looked up at him and rolled your eyes before sending him a smile.

“Get a room!” Jeno said as he throws a straw wrapper at you two.

         Being in a diner with the rest of the boys felt like time stopped. Sitting next to the people you grew up with. You looked over to them. Jaemin was laughing at something Renjun said, a straw in between his teeth as his lips spread. Jeno and Haechan were singing along to the music being played. You wanted time to stop in that moment. The world had to move though and the only indicator of time was how the sun started to fall.

“Last fry?” Renjun waved a fry in front of your face. You went forward but he quickly put it in his mouth.

“Loser,” you said as threw a napkin at him.

“Should we start heading to the beach?” Haechan said just before he guided himself to his straw. Everyone took a look outside and saw the sun falling.

         Everyone paid their part and filed back to the car. Another 15 minutes and Jeno pulled into a parking spot that was right in front of the beach. He didn’t even bother to turn off the engine, he ran out with Jaemin and Haechan. The radio was still playing music. You stepped out and embraced the slight heat of the sun on your face. You breathed in the salty sea and sighed happily. Renjun smiled at you unknowingly. His hand came up to push his hair back, it fell back in place with the slight look of messiness. He suddenly crawled back into the car and opened the sunroof. He pulled himself up and sat on the roof.

“Come up here,” he said. You walked over and grabbed his outstretched hand. He held you steady as you sat on the roof.

         Here you were, sitting on the roof of Jeno’s car. Everyone else with their toes in the sand or in the waters. You looked past your friends and to the sky. Renjun admired your gaze at the sky, he found the colorful horizon in your eyes as you looked it. Just then a breeze came from the sea and he saw you compact your legs into your chest.

“Here, it’s kind of breezy right now,” he took off the denim jacket he had on and slung it over your shoulders. You smiled shyly as the cuffed sleeves fell down your shoulders. He had on just a white tee-shirt, his dark jeans and a pair of beaten up sneakers. You admired his profile as he stared out to the setting sun. The sky was transitioning from blue to purple to a bright orange. It looked like a piece of artwork behind Renjun.

You sneaked your hand closer to his and he let you weave your fingers together. You let out a content sigh and let your head rest on his shoulder, he lightly presses a kiss on top of your head. You felt the smile that played across his lips as he did. This string of romantic action didn’t go unnoticed by the others.

“Love birds!” Jaemin shouted from the water. You and Renjun say nothing but smile widely. The others coo at you two.

“I love you,” you heard his soft voice play the most beautiful notes that no instrument could compare. You felt his gaze on you. You turned your head and smiled. His dark chocolate brown eyes felt so warm. You felt like you were at home with him. His fingers laced themselves deeper with yours. In that moment, you wanted to cry. You didn’t want summer to end. You didn’t want this moment to end. You really wondered how life was before you met Renjun and fell in love with the boy. He made you feel like life was so much more than it’s perceived to be. You wanted to let him know that.

“I love you too.”

I’m so in love with Huang Renjun. He really is like my sun and stars. I’m so sad omg I needed to write something. He’s making me feel like I can love all over again. I’ve never mentioned this but something happened to me and I’ve been hesitant to I crush on people again. Would it be weird to admit that I have a crush on Renjun? :((( lol im so pitiful y’all I’ve also been having sessions where I just have real bad thoughts and I would think back to last year when I was in HS and ugh IM GONNA GO I LOVE YOU ALL A LOT TT- Chii

You sat and patiently waited for your turn. You decided to take a dance class after school. It wasn’t much but it was fun and you made a few friends. And then there was Sungwoon. He wasn’t exactly mean to you, but he wasn’t nice either. He was just kinda there, it was almost like he was your rival and only he knew it. Why you he thought you were rivals was a mystery, there were much better dancers there.

The teacher assigns weekly projects. You have to make choreography for songs, even if they already have a dance. This week was a group assignment; choreograph a remix or mashup. Your group did TWICE X NCT 127 Super Lit Remix.

When it was your turn you got up and got into position. When Limitless faded into Jungyeon’s part from TT you had to run up one of your teammate’s back and flip in front of them. You nailed it and heard cheers from the rest of the class. You finished the song and headed back to take a seat.

“Why aren’t you clapping like everyone else?” You asked Sungwoon as you approached the rest of the students gathered in the corner.

“I’ll clap when I’m impressed.” He said. You rolled your eyes and took his seat as he stood up, it was his turn.

His group did a remix of Wanna One’s Energetic , Hot Shot’s Jelly and Seventeen’s Don’t Wanna Cry, or as you called it, Energetic Jelly Cry for short. You couldn’t help but love it. They kept up with the beat and the power radiating off of them gave you goose bumps. They finished and you were the first to clap.

Class was dismissed. You packed your bag and went towards the door to leave. You saw Sungwoon and pulled him aside.

“You guys were great, like really great I loved it so much.” You said.

“Thanks, you know, Y/N, I could teach you some of it if you’d like.” He offered and smiled. It was the first time he smiled while talking to you.

“Really? I’d love that!”

“C’mere.” He said putting his bag down and pulling you to the center of the room. You dropped your bag as well.

“Try this.” He said and slowly showed you a few steps. You copied. “Good, now this.” He did a few more steps. You copied once again.

“Great and then finish like this.” He said. Before you could finish he cut in.

“Angle your waist more. Your upper body should- okay wait.” He said getting behind you. He placed his hands on your waist and guided you to the position you needed to be in. His sudden touch startled you. You turned your head to look at him. You locked eyes with him as he leaned in and placed his lips on yours. You kissed him back without hesitation.

He pulled away, backing up, and started clapping. You turned so your whole body was facing him and hit his shoulder.

“What was that for?” He asked rubbing the area you hit.

“Now you’re impressed?” You said. He laughed but flinched when you went to hit him again. You chased him around the room until he grabbed his bag and ran out.

“I hate you!” You yelled at him.

“Not after that kiss.” He said poking his head back through the door. He winked and left again.

You smiled to yourself as you grabbed your bag and left.
