Takao as a game streamer sounds so interesting! In the same vein, what kind of channel content do you think gom+uk would do if they were content creators?
Fun Fact: I tried to be a streamer once. I failed. I'm lazy. Admin Neon
Tumblr media
Kuroko — dog vlogger
all his videos are of Nigou with only his voice and, occasionally, his hand making an appearance as well
every video is shot from his point of view because he records everything on his cellphone
Kiyoshi — tiktok "vlogger"
he almost never speaks in his videos unless it's a simple "ooh, look at that" or "this thing looks interesting"
he just likes taking short clips of the cool things he sees throughout the day and sharing it with the world
Kise — vlogger
his channel starts off as just a way for him to connect with his fans from his modeling career; apparently they're very interested in his life
his most popular videos are when he's showing off new outfits his company lets him keep
Aomine — trickshot content creator
mainly for basketball, he tries to mimic cool moves he's seen on the court and make them his own
gets a lot of hate comments because he can be way too cocky in his videos sometimes
Midorima — tutoring/learning videos
at first he was just recording his notes for his friends; they were all the ones to suggest he post them to help a wider audience
he never shows his face on camera, mainly focusing on what he's writing; has a weird fanbase for his hands
Murasakibara — mukbang creator
it wasn't his idea to start the channel, but he's not opposed to it either since all he has to do is sit there and eat
his channel doesn't last long unless he hires an editor because he's too lazy to edit the videos into something more digestible
Akashi — online shogi player
all he wanted to do was record himself playing games against an AI so he could rewatch them later and analyze his own moves
ends up getting quite a following of fellow shogi lovers; his audience is mostly people older than him
Mibuchi — review channel
he likes to give his opinion on things, so there are a lot of different things he will review
half his audience really loves when he reviews skincare products; the other half really enjoys his sport equipment reviews
Nebuya — gymspo video creator
his channel is full of videos where he goes over his workout routines and teaches people how to achieve the results he has
he didn't start posting about easier modifications to workouts until a commenter pointed out not everyone can do what he does
Hayama — tiktok skateboarder
his videos consist of showing himself performing different tricks on his skateboard in different parts of the city
he also has a few videos of himself skateboarding away from the cops after he gets told to stop skating in an area
Hanamiya — faceless conspiracy theorist
a shit stirrer at heart, his channel is dedicated to trolling conspiracy theorists because he enjoys inciting rage in them
half the time people can't tell if he's agreeing with the conspiracies or against it; whatever gives him more engagement that week

Which Uncrowned King is the strongest?
I thought my KnB blogging days were over, but I have been summoned back by the question, “Which Uncrowned King is the strongest?”
I’m not gonna lie to you; I don’t think this post will be quite as epic as my post on the GoM members, but I will do my best to explain my opinions on this topic. We’re looking at which Uncrowned King (UK, if you will) is the strongest in a one-on-one competition; however, just like with my GoM post, I’ll be considering who the strongest UK is when a part of a team. I may end up with more than one answer to this question by the end, but team play is just as important to consider as individual ability is. Let’s see what we can find out.
TL;DR in bold
Tumblr media
Kiyoshi Teppei
Just so we’re clear on this, we’re looking at the Kiyoshi that we saw in KnB. Not Kiyoshi as he would’ve been if he hadn’t gotten injured, and not Kiyoshi as he is by the end of series when his knee had completely given out. We’re talking about his prime here. Or, at least, the best we ever saw him in KnB. Still injured, but also still badass.
Oddly enough, Kiyoshi is the only protagonistic Uncrowned King in the series. Of course, plenty of people love the guys from Rakuzan, but there’s no denying they were set up as antagonists to begin with. Anyway, Kiyoshi has been described as a confusing mix between a point guard and a center. He’s got the height and the power to guard under the net, but he’s also got the game sense to make informed passes. That’s why Kiyoshi has his Right of Postponement: so he could pass like a point guard while remaining under the net. The Right of Postponement is a skill where Kiyoshi will use his hand to palm the ball and redirect it into a pass. Vice Claw is a similar skill that uses Kiyoshi’s large hands and allows Kiyoshi to rebound the ball with one hand, potentially dunking it right away. Beyond these skills, Kiyoshi has also been described as the strongest center behind Murasakibara.
Tumblr media
Could Kiyoshi be the strongest player out of the Uncrowned Kings? It’s certainly not impossible. Nebuya is a direct comparison you could make to Kiyoshi, as they both fill the same position, but really, since the UK members don’t have as many notable skills as the GoM members, it becomes harder to decide who outranks who in terms of individual skill. If I were to choose a center, it would definitely be Kiyoshi for the benefit of his Right of Postponement, and his versatility would create a balance within any team that isn’t present in most other cases. His physical capabilities were already impressive when he was injured, so as he heals and improves, they’ll only get better. As of now, Kiyoshi’s still in the running.
Makoto Hanamiya
It’s always hard to be unbiased when talking about the strength of an antagonistic character, and especially when that character is as antagonistic as Hanamiya. Unfortunately, if I’m being objective, I wanna put Hanamiya near the top of my list, instinctively. A lot of that has to do with his intelligence, since that’s got a lot of potential behind it, but the skills he was able to develop because of that intelligence are also pretty convincing.
As far as abilities with names attached to them, Hanamiya only has two: the Spider’s Web and the teardrop shot. His teardrop is a sort of jump shot/fadeaway where he’ll flick the ball toward the net with one hand, as opposed to a layup where you’d lift the ball to the net. These shots are super hard to block, which is why such a big deal was made about it when it was revealed. Hanamiya’s Spider Web is a skill that’s always really impressed me-- despite me hating him as a person--because Hanamiya is able to control for nearly every possibility of another team’s passing courses and choices. Of course, Seirin was able to overcome this with Kuroko, but Hanamiya’s observational skills, intelligence, and physical abilities allow him to predict where the ball will be so he can steal it, and without an invisible man, it would be pretty damn difficult to stop. To be completely accurate, he does need the help of Seto, but his accuracy is still insane without him.
Tumblr media
Hanamiya is best known for his ability to steal the ball, but impressively, he’s also known as a player that can score whenever he wants to. This accolade has only been granted to one other player in the series: Aomine Daiki. Beyond that, Hanamiya’s general physical abilities are described as elite; everything from his speed to his passing sense to his offensive capabilities are top notch.
Will Hanamiya be a top contender for the strongest UK? Probably, yeah. It’s not just the nature of his abilities, but the range, as well. I’ll talk about the cruel and petty tricks he ordains a bit later, but even without those, Hanamiya has the ability to piss his opponents off. His greatest weapon is his intelligence, but he has a talent for upsetting his opponents’ focus and motivation, as well. The fact that he chose to specialize in steals resulted in him having such an interesting playstyle. And because his playstyle is based on taking opportunities away from his opponents, he can also cause hiccups in their playstyle while showcasing his own. Overall, Hanamiya’s got the potential to be the best. Even if he is an asshole and a half.
Mibuchi Reo
As much as Nebuya annoys me, I think Mibuchi is probably my least favorite Uncrowned King. That’s got to do with his personality, though, not his abilities, because I think his abilities are pretty cool. Honestly, they read as a little bit too similar to Tatsuya’s Mirage Shot to me, but hey, how different can elite shooting guard abilities be?
Essentially, Mibuchi has just got his three shooting forms: Heaven, Earth, and Oblivion/Void (we’ll go with Void). Heaven is a fadeaway that allows Mibuchi to shoot a virtually unblockable shot, and Earth is a shooting form that draws a foul from the opponent by making them jump before Mibuchi has; when Mibuchi does jump, he’ll knock into the defender and draw a foul. Typically, Mibuchi will only use Heaven and Earth during the course of a game, but if he acknowledges his opponent, he’ll use Void. When Void is used, it prevents the opposing player from jumping for the block. This is possible because Mibuchi crouches lower than normal when preparing to jump for the shot, and the opposing player won’t match that depth. Because of that, their legs will straighten out before Mibuchi jumps, and they won’t have the momentum left to jump for the block.
Tumblr media
Could Mibuchi be the strongest Uncrowned King? Personally, I don’t think so. While it’s probably safe to assume that his physical abilities are greater than the average player, we really don’t know much about Mibuchi beyond his shooting forms. Compared to players that have either been seen in loads of games, like Kiyoshi, and players that were the stars in the games they were in, like Hanamiya, Mibuchi doesn’t seem as impressive. If you’re going for a good shooting guard, having someone with Mibuchi’s shooting forms may be beneficial, but the rest of his specs don’t quite match up to the other UKs.
Nebuya Eikichi
I know I just got done ragging on Mibuchi, but Mibuchi does have signature skills where Nebuya doesn’t. Nebuya does, more or less, name his skills by adding “muscle” onto the beginning of normal plays, but really, his power is the main weapon in his arsenal.
I’d describe Nebuya as Murasakibara-adjacent. He can almost bring down the backboard like Murasakibara, for instance. Where Murasakibara simply has power behind his frame, though, Nebuya intentionally uses the muscle he has to overpower his opponents. A good example of this would be how he handles himself in the post. Nebuya lowers his hips and engages his arms a lot when defending or blocking out under the net, and this makes him, essentially, immoveable. Because of his strength, his defenders often end up exhausted when playing against him, as well. Any normal player isn’t going to be able to force a basket against him. Hell, even Kiyoshi had problems.
Tumblr media
Is Nebuya the strongest Uncrowned King? Physically, I think that’s a resounding “yes.” However, as a general player, I think it depends on who he’s playing. Nebuya isn’t a completely mindless player--I’ve seen him make good choices on the court that have resulted in points for his team--but his main objective is to force his way through to the basket. If he’s playing a regular team, that’s probably going to be enough. If he’s playing another UK, though, the answer isn’t as clear. I think there are avenues Nebuya could take that would make success a bit more assured for him and his team, but I can also easily imagine him getting outplayed. The jury’s out on this one for now.
Hayama Kotarou
We’ve reached our final Uncrowned King: the adorable Hayama Kotarou. The “animal instinct” thing was kind of solidified by having Hayama as a part of the character list. Before, with Kagami and Aomine, it was this abstract concept that basically meant “super beast basketball player,” but Hayama sort of honed its definition. Now, I’d say players with the animal instinct are both intimidating to face and naturally skilled players, especially when considering agility and game sense. Anyway, Hayama doesn’t embody this as well as Kagami, Aomine, and Silver do, but he’s still got a static around him that says, “Beware.”
Hayama only has one signature skill, which is his lightning dribble, but there are various levels to it. Above average players aren’t able to stop Hayama’s three-fingered dribble, and his five-fingered dribble has only been shown to be stopped by Kagami, who is as strong as the GoM (maybe even stronger). On top of his dribbling, Hayama has impressive physical abilities that make him a good all-rounder. His agility, his speed, his defense, and his reflexes are all impressive enough to be acknowledged by, both Kagami, and Alex.
Tumblr media
Is all that enough to make Hayama the strongest Uncrowned King? I gotta say, it’s looking pretty convincing. For Hayama to, not only be a specialist player because of his dribbling, but to also be an all-rounder is extremely impressive. I think Hayama has a lot more by way of basic skills than the other Uncrowned Kings do, maybe barring Kiyoshi. Maybe barring Hanamiya, but we’ll talk about that in a little bit. I don’t think I came to this conclusion in my Ultimate Team post, but Hayama may actually be the one to beat when only considering the other UKs.
Weaknesses
I had this section in my GoM post because I thought it was important to juxtapose the GoM members’ weaknesses with their strengths since their all so strong. With the UK members, though, I don’t know that it’s as necessary. If the GoM members are the model for perfection then, obviously, anything less than will come with weaknesses attached. I don’t know that every UK member has a significant weakness, but I’ll try to base this off of what I remember of KnB. As an umbrella weakness, I’ll say that none of the UK members, now or ever, can enter the Zone, unless they get to GoM level. Also, when it comes to the GoM members, they have a natural physical weakness because their bodies can’t sustain the talent they have, so they’re prone to injury. I don’t know if this is true for the Uncrowned Kings, but as they possess more talent than above average players, I would say it’s a definite possibility.
If I wanted to be absolutely honest, I would call Kiyoshi’s knee a weakness, because it was for the entirety of Kuroko. However, I’m not rude, so if I’m looking for something else, it might be that Kiyoshi gets discouraged fairly easily when it comes to his own failures. As the series went one, this got mitigated, but Kiyoshi is definitely better at remaining calm and optimistic when its his teammates that need the pick-me-ups. When its himself, he isn’t the best at doing it.
Hanamiya…I mean, would you call his bad attitude a weakness? I would say it is in the sense that his attitude can sometimes set him up for failure. If he has a plan that doesn’t work, he can try to go in again and rework it, but if he feels like he’s been insulted in any way, his playstyle will suffer. I guess his personality would be the weakness, more than his attitude, but you get what I’m saying. It’s when Hanamiya makes himself synonymous with his abilities that he gets in trouble. It happened at the end of the Seirin game where his Spider’s Web being shattered ended up impacting how well he played as an individual. Basically, what I’m trying to say is: don’t take it so personal, Hanamiya.
Mibuchi’s weaknesses are pretty straightforward, as they are with the remaining two Uncrowned Kings: his temper. It almost felt like Mibuchi got hysterical when he was being bested in Rakuzan’s game with Seirin. He really couldn’t fathom the idea of losing so much that he lost all of his edge. That’s a common trait he has with Nebuya and Hayama, as well.
I don’t actually remember much about what Nebuya was like when he was upset they were losing, but I feel like he was angry? Like, really angry. Sort of how Murasakibara got when he began losing. Playstyle like that leaves you open to attacks and mistakes, and if I remember correctly, that’s exactly what happened with Nebuya.
As far as Hayama’s temper goes, Hayama gets careless. In the Seirin game, he tried to do too much and ended up being fooled into losing the ball during a drive and having his weapon broken. He got remorseful because of that, and Akashi got pissed. With Hayama, as with all of Rakuzan’s UKs (and Hanamiya, too, I guess), he underestimates his opponents too much and takes the brunt of it when he’s wrong.
Team Play
Team play is essential to how proficient these guys are at basketball. In a one-on-one fight, they may be unstoppable, but if their abilities aren’t transferable to a team--any team--then they’re useless if they want to play professionally.
I think it’s pretty obvious that Kiyoshi has the best sense of team play in the Uncrowned Kings. Unlike with the GoM members, though, it isn’t as though the UKs have any members that are terrible at team play. However, where Kiyoshi wins out against them is where he takes care of his team. It’s not just that Kiyoshi plays nice with them and participates in plays--he goes out of his way to care for everyone on the court to make sure they’re all performing at their best. Even the point guard in this group doesn’t do that.
Hanamiya, as the aforementioned point guard, has “team play” built into his role. Unlike Haizaki, Hanamiya is actually a pretty decent team player. As far as I can remember, he isn’t cruel to his teammates, and he’s good at leading them. Granted, he leads them into underhanded plays that harm the people they’re playing against, but his twisted team is actually very functional. He doesn’t go out of his way for his teammates like Kiyoshi does, but I’d make the argument that Hanamiya is the second best member of the Uncrowned Kings when it comes to team play.
Mibuchi, Nebuya, and Hayama can probably all be talked about under one umbrella since they were always sort of glommed together when they were brought up in KnB. The themes they had were all pretty similar. They’re extremely accustomed to team play because of Akashi. Clearly, otherwise they wouldn’t have been so shocked when Akashi dropped them to win on his own. These three do argue sometimes, but they don’t usually have any conflict on the court. I’m inclined to say that Nebuya has the worst team play and Hayama has the best, but that may just be me assuming that based on their personalities. So, I’d say the Rakuzan UKs have basic team play standards.
Conclusion
So, at the end of this post, who is the strongest Uncrowned King? Let’s break it down into three possibilities, just like I did in my GoM post.
Based on potential: Hanamiya
With Hanamiya’s intelligence, I really do think that he has incredible potential to use the abilities he already has in new ways and develop new ones with even more capabilities. If he’s already able to read passing patterns, he could train himself to recognize the micromovements people make when they’re getting ready to drive or shoot or jump; he could anticipate entire plays to be made by the opposing team; he could think up plays for his own team that step outside the traditional patterns. Imagine what a non-sadistic Hanamiya could do after a few years of practice.
Individually: Hayama
It’s really just Hayama’s specs that do it for me. He’s just an incredibly capable basketball player. If he’s already got the physicality to do well, on top of his Uncrowned King talent and ability, he’s probably gonna outplay most other non-GoM players. Genuinely, in terms of “he’s extremely difficult to beat,” Hayama reminds me Aomine. No, he doesn’t quite have the same offensive power, but he does have the animal instinct, and I think it makes a lot of difference in an individual match-up.
As part of a team: Kiyoshi
This was, more than likely, obvious to you. I hate to put down Kiyoshi’s abilities and game sense, but Kiyoshi shines best when he’s part of a team. I know he can throw down in a one-on-one game, but I don’t think Kiyoshi’s talent really lends itself to that sort of thing. He’s a great support, and that’s what he’s always going to be best at.
As with this post’s sister post, let’s talk about why Nebuya and Mibuchi aren’t in this line-up.
Why not Mibuchi?
I kind of explained it above, but Mibuchi just doesn’t have the same all-round talent that the other UKs do. Like I said, it’s a given that he’s more physically capable than your average player, but without anything to back that up, Mibuchi just looks like a dude that can shoot in different forms. That’s useful, mind you, but it can’t beat the three guys I mentioned above.
Why not Nebuya?
Nebuya isn’t a contender for the same reasons Mibuchi isn’t. He does have more all-round capability, but it isn’t exceptional capability. Most of his notable moments are because of his strength, not because of his talent for the game. At the end of the day, barreling your way through a game isn’t refined enough to be called the best of the UKs.
So, who wins? In my GoM post, I valued potential over anything else, but that had a lot to do with the abilities that came with the potential. In this case, I think my winner for the strongest Uncrowned King is: Hayama Kotarou.
How can this guy, who didn’t even win a small forward battle against Haizaki in my Ultimate Team post, end up as the winner? How did he beat out Hanamiya and Kiyoshi? If I’m being honest, Hayama partially beat Hanamiya because Hanamiya is a sadist. Like, I can’t call you the best of the best if you like breaking kneecaps. But, beyond that, Hayama’s physicality just beats of Hanamiya’s, for me. Yes, Hanamiya has incredible offensive power if he wants to, but Hayama’s instincts outweigh that just a touch. It’s sort of like how Aomine could beat Kise’s ass in a one-on-one, but Kise’s got better abilities. It’s just, Hayama’s slick, you know? Anyway, onto Kiyoshi. I mean, Hayama beat Kiyoshi because Hayama is the better all-rounder. “But how can you say that when Kiyoshi is a center and a point guard?” Well, because game sense doesn’t outweigh physicality as an individual player. I guess the bottom line is: Hayama is better than Hanamiya in terms of conduct and instinct-to-action capabilities, and he’s better than Kiyoshi as an individual player. At least, to me.
If you want to my ranking from strongest to weakest, they are:
Hayama
Hanamiya
Kiyoshi
Nebuya
Mibuchi
Now based on team play:
Kiyoshi
Hanamiya
Hayama
Mibuchi
Nebuya
Finally, based on passion for the game, which I don’t think is accurate, but the only one we can really be sure of is Kiyoshi:
Kiyoshi
Hanamiya
Hayama
Mibuchi
Nebuya
Okay, well, I’ve finally made this post, so hopefully you guys enjoyed reading it. I feel like a lot of you will think picking Hayama was kind of dumb because I made it sound like Hanamiya was cooler or because Kiyoshi is the best character out of all of them or something. But that’s the beauty of discussion. Let me know who you think is the strongest and if any of my assessments could be supplemented by something I forgot about from KnB. Because I probably forgot a lot. I’ll be making another mini Uncrowned Kings post soon to answer some more asks in my inbox, so keep an eye out. Thanks for reading!

potential juicy part 3: when they meet akashi again at the winter cup, reader, who now "hates" him, disrespects him to his face + pretends she doesn't care. but after kuroko reveals the whole story the night before rakuzan game, she's forced to confront the truth + they go all out against him (and win ofc) so akashi, now back to being akashi, confesses to reader, ig reader finally tells him what happened? (did i just write a wholeass fic in your askbox i am so sorry) btw tysm for the part 1!!
LMAOO THE WHOLEASS FIC SENT ME HELPP you snapped off in your request i can only deliver justice.... did i just listened to some KNB openings on repeat to manifest myself to pretend I’m the characters so I can accurately write them?.......... n-no...... part 1 here and part 2 here ^^ AND part 4 here
Akashi x f!Reader (but 99% g/n)
Part 3
[Teiko!manager Headcanons]
shortly after Rakuzan’s victory against Shuutoku, the Rakuzan starters were walking together in the hallway to their lockers when you were blocking the way, hogging up the vending machines in the middle of the hallway to buy your teammates refreshments and snacks and then shoving them into your small backpack
Hayama impatiently yells at you to scram and Mayuzumi gives his own condescending comment, and you immediately looked up to see the infamous team
you instantly freeze up when you see Akashi in the back of the group just wordlessly staring as usual, and you just stay at your spot completely still for a while
“... Girl! Are you even listening?! Are you dumb or deaf?”
“That’s no way to speak to a girl!”
“Ow! But Reo-nee…”
“Maybe she just needs to eat? She’s probably hungry.”
“Ugh, no one else is like you, you know!”
“Tch.”
Mayuzumi merely frowns before he casually looks behind to see a rather intense aura emanating from Akashi, which is quite rare considering that you were a nobody compared to him and you weren’t someone who threatened him in any way… unless that was actually the case? but he merely observes from the shadows
“Move. You’re in the way.”
you incredulously stand up straight from his words and point a finger at him:
“I-I… I can’t believe it! This is the first thing you say to me after all this time?! Everything that happened at Teiko… was… was all your fucking fault! I hope the final game becomes your own downfall, you fucking jerk! And I hope I never see you again after tomorrow night.”
by now, you were hyperventilating from shouting at him, and the teammates were stunned… and absolutely fearful, their gazes darting back to Akashi to see his chilling gaze at you, looking quite calm
“How laughable. You haven’t changed at all, (y/n). You can believe in Seirin’s basketball all you want, say all you want, but it’s all pointless. Rakuzan will achieve victory like it always has. Now step aside.”
you only gape your mouth as you furiously huff and aggressively grab your packed bag and run, but as you dash away, you slightly stumble from the dizziness you felt from the emotional stress
ngl, Reo and Nebuya kinda pitied you watching you run
when you were gone from his field of vision, Akashi merely tells them to move onto the lockers and acts like nothing ever happened
you’ve practically convinced yourself that you truly hated Akashi for hurting Kuroko and destroying teamplay at Teiko… but in truth, you were only using him as a scapegoat to get over your unrequited feelings for him // of course the deepest part of you knew that the adults were responsible, and you knew that Akashi fulfilled his role of captain to the very end (while you meanwhile still had lingering feelings of self-doubt in your work ethic all this time)
while you were extremely happy for the Seirin team for making it to Winter Cup finals, you were so ashamed to even have the fleeting thought that you wanted Seirin to lose in the semi-finals so you didn’t have to face Akashi again
the late evening before the game tomorrow, Kuroko was in the mostly empty stadium, mostly because he wanted to reminisce about the old times before he faces Rakuzan tomorrow
it was a very unfortunate coincidence that Akashi was also there to survey the court for a moment before the game tomorrow
both of them held a long moment of eye contact before Kuroko decides to call him out
“Akashi-kun.”
“Tetsuya.”
“Have you ever had fun playing with Rakuzan?”
“To think that I had a fleeting thought of you asking me a different question this time. I can never understand how you’re fixated on such a pitiful ideal.”
“... Then… have you always felt this way even since the beginning of Teiko?” Akashi merely narrows his eyes at Kuroko
“Get to the point.”
“I’ve just been… wondering, that’s all.”
“Then I will not dally here further just to have a reunion about the past.” Akashi turns around to leave and walks a few steps before Kuroko calls out to stop him in his tracks
“... I want to ask you about (y/n)-san.” He merely watches Akashi slightly turning his head around before continuing. “What do you think about her?”
“She was Teiko’s head manager. How else did you think my opinion was, Tetsuya? She, just like Daiki, just like everyone else, was an asset to achieving victory. I will not repeat myself again.”
“Akashi-kun, with your Emperor Eye, surely you would’ve noticed something was amiss with (y/n)-san for a while now.” Akashi turns completely around with an impassive gaze
“Broken plates can still function fine. It’s no different with Daiki.” Kuroko grows furious for your sake
“H-How… how can you say that? Do you know how much she’s overworked herself and collapsed throughout these past months for the sake of our team? Did you even know how much of our own 1st-string players were belittling her despite her continuing to give it her all? She cared for our team—she cared for you! She didn’t even want to let you know what was going on behind your back to not burden you any further—and for you to only chalk her up as a tool—”
Akashi is slightly taken back at the sudden info dump/confession from Kuroko, struggling to process the new information… but his face gives little away; Kuroko continues on:
“We’re going to win tomorrow. I swear that Seirin will win against Rakuzan.”
“... It will be intriguing to see you try.” Akashi turns to finally exit out, leaving Kuroko simmering in his thoughts alone (excluding a few janitors) for a few minutes before he exits the stadium himself
in seeing you again the next day, Kuroko immediately notices how antsy you got and even offered to give you the massages to get rid of your own stress knots AND YOU INSTANTLY FEEL WARM BECAUSE YOU TAUGHT HIM YOUR TECHNIQUES SO LONG AGO, AND HE STILL REMEMBERS
you confide in Kuroko as he works out the knots, confessing that you don’t want to be there at the final game but you didn’t want to be selfish and ditch the team, especially since everyone made you feel like you mattered to the team (and you told him about your incident with Akashi yesterday too)
Kuroko shares his own fears and unresolved feelings to you to show that you weren’t alone in feeling uneasy (although he doesn’t share the info that he met up with Akashi)
wholesome friendship moment #753358
the talk made you made up your resolve, and you tell him that you were going to be there at the front bench to support Seirin like you’ve always done, but you do make a request for him to make an excuse for you in case you chicken out and flee mid-game or something
Kuroko agrees and to make you feel better, he proposes for you to focus on him throughout the game so you don’t have to look at Akashi; he knows you still harbor feelings for the Rakuzan captain
while the Seirin starters were warming up, you opted to survey the building interior to find the best route around… just in case if you wanted to flee // you meet Kaijo’s team by coincidence, and Kasamatsu ushers the rest of the team forward to leave you and Kise alone
Kise affectionately ruffles your hair and wishes you and Seirin good luck but also notices how anxious you look; this idiot slaps your back to calm you down LOL
“(y/n)-cchi! What are you so nervous for?”
“Ow! What the hell?”
“O-Ow, ow! I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to hit that hard—can you please let go?!”
“It’s been a while since I shoulder-locked you, huh…”
“Well, I certainly don’t miss it! You’re so cruel!”
and you only give him an all-knowing look at his “cruel” comment, and Kise panics again at his usual poor word choice… but you merely laugh at his distress
unintentionally, Kise does end up being the one to help you clear up the bundles of nerves… he’s still really worried for you because he definitely can see how you’re still hung up on Akashi
at the same time, when Seirin was watching Rakuzan team members do perfect layups, getting nervous about the game, you were a nervous wreck in your own world at the bench, triple-checking everything and giving massages to Teppei to relieve his knee pain for the time being
throughout the game, Akashi does throw a casual glance at you here and there when no one’s really looking, and meanwhile, you’re incredibly fixated on Kuroko (doing what he told you so you wouldn’t be tempted to look at Akashi)
a lot of your attention was on Furihata anyways because you were focused on massaging particular areas to reduce the physical stress exerted on them during the game
part of Akashi wants to go all out and win this game not only to prove you and Kuroko wrong, but also to impress you, but that’s something his true self feels (who is dormant in his subconscious) rather than his current self… but it’s still there
the moment you broke was when the Akashi you knew and liked finally returned to the court, and you immediately excused yourself to the empty infirmary room to bawl your eyes out and put yourself together; you tell yourself that it’s just another tactic of Akashi and return to the game right when Seirin makes their game point
Oreshi gave 100% in battling against Seirin but occasional glances constantly were shot over to Seirin’s bench to look for you, but you were gone at the last part of the game until at the very end
after the team lineups and trophy distributions, you immediately run outside of the stadium for crisp night air, heaving in as much as you could to try to prevent your body from having any funny ideas of dying on the spot
“... (l/n)-san.”
from his voice, you knew it was Akashi, and you debated on running as fast as you can but the current state of your body didn’t make it a viable option; you opted to stand still quietly, your back still facing him
“(/n)-san,” Akashi softly says again, slowly walking up to you and stopping four meters behind you to give you reasonable space in the confrontation
“... I hate you, you know that? Didn’t I tell you that I didn’t want to see you again after this game?”
“Kuroko disclosed to me what happened.”
“He what?!” In your shock, you whirl around to face Akashi, only to be stunned to see his gentle eyes filled with guilt and worry
“... I want to give you my sincerest apology for everything I’ve done and for what I didn’t do for you. In seeing how the Generation of Miracles had their talents bloomed substantially at a rapid rate, I had believed chasing for absolute victory was the only way to hold us together. Teamwork was nigh impossible given that we had no equal rivals from the outside. Even if that was the only plausible option to take as captain, I still failed Teiko’s other members, including you. To think that I was foolish in letting go what was most important to me.”
he gives a deep bow, further shocking you of your wits
“I…” You pause before you frown. “What did Kuroko even tell you?”
Akashi tells you exactly what Kuroko said and you immediately deny it
“Th-That’s… I only worked hard to get better, so I wouldn’t get left behind. Our old teammates were a testament that I was lacking, and I tried hard to catch up to everyone. I only collapsed due to my own irresponsibility. No matter how much I tried, I could never reach up to everyone’s level, even until now.”
“That’s not the whole truth isn’t it, (l/n)-san?” You widen your eyes at his statement, worried about the insinuation of his words
Oreshi now was not the same Oreshi back in Teiko; he’s now much sharper when it comes to you; he senses that there was something else amiss
“Why didn’t you tell me about what happened back at Teiko? Did you feel that you couldn’t rely on me as a captain?” Akashi sounds hurt… really hurt
you, taken back, immediately were quick to answer:
“N-No! If anything, I… I didn’t want you to look at me in a lesser light if you ever found out that our members started losing faith in me, and I… I wanted to be dependable like everyone else on the team! And if I was reliable, you would be able to depend on me like you used to in the very beginning…”
“(l/n)-san,” Akashi mumbles with upturned brows. “You’ve always been viable to me and the team. Why do you go through such lengths?” Your tears burst forth uncontrollably before you choked out:
“Because I liked you! You were so accomplished and reputable…! I had always th-thought that deep down, i-if I kept improving myself, that you’d notice me in the way I saw you!” Both you and Akashi widened your eyes at what you just said
well shit, maybe now is a good time to run? but before you even had any other ideas, Akashi steps forward to gently clasp your wrist
“... How do you feel about me now?” You obviously hesitate and look down at your clasped wrist, tears still streaky on your face, and at your silence, Akashi continues. “If you truly despise me… I understand. I won’t bother you anymore after tonight… But please believe me (l/n)-san, when I say…”
he moves from your wrist to your hand, taking his other hand to bring up both your hands in a delicate clasp
“... that I’ve always been fond of you, ever since the beginning.”
“You’re lying.”
“I am not, (l/n).” To prove his point, Akashi places a tentative ghost kiss on his hands holding yours, wary in trying not to overstep his boundaries in case you didn’t want your hands to be kissed by him; he leaves his lips there before he murmurs
“... How can I make it up to you?” You feel his soft breath reverberating through your own hands, and it felt so sincere
“Well… for starters, I want to know the Akashi outside of basketball…” He lets go of your hands and gives a small smile
“Then it would be more appropriate to call me Seijurō, don’t you think?”
“Ah… then… you can call me by my first name too.”
“(y/n)... please don’t hesitate to come to me when anything troubles you.”
“I’ll try.”
“And please don’t overwork yourself. It’s not good for you.”
“I’m not making promises.”
“I do hope that in time you’ll come to realize that you’re an extremely talented person… quite a force to be reckoned with too.”
“Was the second half an innuendo of some sorts?”
“You don’t meet someone everyday who wouldn’t hesitate to cuss out the Rakuzan captain while pointing at his face.”
“I…! I’m sorry! I spoke out of—” He puts a finger to your lips with a teasing smile before he grows serious
“I must also apologize for my cruel words…
… I hope that you would find it in yourself to forgive all of my own misdeeds.”
“Yeah, yeah,” you mumble. “Maybe that will happen sooner than later because I do… like you.”
“It’s nice to hear a confirmation from you.”
“Stop acting like you got me figured out, Seijurō!”
“I wouldn’t dare, (y/n).”
bonus: imagine the shock from Seirin and Rakuzan to see you two DATING (when that eventually happens), like Hayama is losing his entire MIND over this it’s SO FUNNY LMAO // Kuroko and Kise are so smug and happy for you two it’s very wholesome
The… end?
UPDATE: sike, by the time you read this, there is a part 4 epilogue

After a ridiculously long delay...(being a resident is crazy busy and I’ve barely had time to sleep let alone write T_T) I present part two of this prompt!
Kise and Murasakibara with Reader who gets lots of confessions
Kise
While your boyfriend projected a “cool, easygoing” image of himself in his many photoshoots and interviews, you knew exactly what the blond-haired child model was really like in his normal life.
When the two of you had been captured by paparazzi out during a lunch date, suddenly, you were the focus of everyone’s attention. You’d expected it from Kise’s fangirls, who often followed him around and had screeching voices and shouts that could easily beat out the pitch of a banshee, but you weren’t expecting the sudden surge of admirers you had.
Whether it was a combination of sheer curiosity, or some sort of weird attraction the opposite sex had towards you, suddenly you were getting confessed to left and right.
It had gotten to the point where now, not only were females present during Rakuzan’s practice sessions, you had your own set of male students that came to watch you do your thing. Your job as a manager, noting down stats and planning out drills.
Nebuya offered to scare them all off, his biceps bulging as he scowled towards the ever growing group of people, but you figured they weren’t hurting anyone, and were surprisingly respectful of your space. So you let it go.
Until one day, when you couldn’t open your locker.
“Did someone change the combination?” You muttered to yourself, yanking on the steel latch, giving it another tug. What you didn’t expect was to literally get hit in the face by what seemed like the equivalent of a rose garden shoved into an admittedly small space.
And, all you could see was Kise. Well, not the actual Kise-although that boy had flexibility *wink wink cough cough*, even he wasn’t a master contortionist.
No, what you meant is you were bombarded by images of Kise. Magazine cutouts, selfies, candid shots-pictures upon pictures had been plastered on the inside of your locker.
Along with signs declaring, “_____-CCHI AND KISE LOVE LOVE FOREVER!!!” on long, rolling banners that slid out onto the floor. The sheer sparkle and glitter bombarded your eyes.
None of this prepared you, however for the sight that was to greet you that afternoon-namely, one Kise Ryouta, decked out in a suit that was printed with images of your face and phrases of “_____-cchi’s property”.
“I made us matching couple shirts, _____-cchi!!” Kise cheered, ignoring the flabbergasted looks that were coming from all corners of the gym. “Now, there’s no question as to just who you belong to~”
You could only sigh as Kise engulfed you in a hug, before tugging a sweatshirt over your head that was, indeed…plastered with pictures of your blonde-haired boyfriend in the most ostentatious way of marking you as his.
Murasakibara
Imagine having a koala clinging to you for entire days on end. While the thought may sound cute and adorable, imagine if that koala was actually a 6 foot tall, purple-haired, basketball player who could easily crush you at any moment.
“Atsushi, what are you even doing here?”
“Aka-chin told me to come.”
A complete lie. You knew that the Rakuzan basketball captain had not asked Murasakibara to come visit you, because that same captain was staring at the both of you with a light simmering of impatience and rage.
“Atsushi, Sei-chan looks like he’s going to kill us both.”
Blinking, Murasakibara looked up at you, then at Akashi. “I’ll crush him if he does.”
“What’s this really about, Atsushi?” You muse, running your fingers through his long, purple locks. The strands were soft and well conditioned, ever since you had mentioned to the purple-haired titan that you liked his hair long, even more so when he drew it up into a ponytail during his games when things got really serious. His head was currently resting on your lap, like a sunbathing panther enjoying its rest.
If you looked closely enough, you swore you could see ears popping up on his head and a long tail, swishing back and forth in contentment.
“I wanted to see _____-chin.”
“Well, do you really have to do it from this position?” You were carefully balancing your clipboard in your hands, trying not to accidentally hit your boyfriend in the face. “We can always hang out after practice…”
“No.”
“Atsushi. Seriously.”
“…Muro-chin told me that you got confessions.”
You blinked, suddenly connecting the pieces together. You had wondered why Himuro had texted you the day before, apologizing in advance for something. “What? They’re not being serious, Atsushi.”
“There’s people at my school who keep talking about you.” Murasakibara mutters, his mouth forming into a pout. “I wanted to crush them all, but Muro-chin said that I couldn’t see you if I was in prison.”
“That’s true. And sweet, but really, your goal should to just not be in prison.”
Murasakibara is more than content to just ignore your words, turning his body so his arms could loop around your waist, his large hands pulling you closer as he nuzzles into your stomach. The cute sight is almost just enough to distract you from the fact that you were still in the middle of a basketball practice, and this public display of affection was definitely not what you were expecting at all.
You had to pull out your trump card.
Setting down your clipboard, you gently grasp Murasakibara’s cheeks, leaning down and kissing him soundly on the lips. “Atsushi. I love you, and only you.” You murmur. “And if you let me finish this practice, I’ll let you eat cake from your favorite place later tonight.”
Murasakibara’s eyes blink wide open as he looks up at you. “Promise?” He replies, rising from his supine position to look at you directly, his hand curling around the back of your head as he pulls you in for another kiss.
“Promise.”

I got a request on Ao3 from Mystrale for a drabble about IzuHaya, where Hayama protects Izuki. I went ahead and picked one of the quotes from the list, since one wasn’t specified.
Originally, I was going to have it take place in my Roommates AU , but I changed my mind and made it a one-shot instead~ (also, it went long because I have no self-control)
IzuHaya #20 “I’ll protect you no matter what...even if it kills me.”
Also available on Ao3.
Request a drabble here!
“Ooh, that’s a good one.” Izuki hummed as he wrote down a rather excellent pun, if he did say so himself, into his notebook. He was so engrossed in what he was doing, he didn’t realize he was about to run into someone on the sidewalk until it was too late. Unlike him, really. He usually kept one eye on the road.
“Are you kidding me?!” the person he bumped into roared, holding up a half-empty cup of coffee and swiping at the front of his clothes. “This is a new jacket!” He looked up and, for a moment, the rage melted from his features, his eyes widening slightly. Then he glared. “You’re going to pay for this, aren’tcha, Pretty Face?”
Now, normally, Izuki would apologize profusely for what he’d done and offer to cover the other person’s drycleaning bill -- not that things like this often happened to him. But, unfortunately, he’d left his wallet at home. “I can’t espresso how sorry I am,” Izuki began. “It’s obvious that you like that jacket a latte.”
The man blinked. And as he registered what Izuki said, two of his friends came up to flank him. “We saw what happened, Aniki,” one said. “Want us to beat him up?” the other added.
But he shook his head, eyeing Izuki. “I can handle this.” He cracked his neck. “Listen, you’re cute, so I’m gonna let this slide. Just give me whatever cash you have on you and we’ll call it even.”
Again, Izuki attempted to explain himself. “Like I’ve bean trying to tell you,” he said. “I’d love to help, but affogato my wallet at home.”
The three exchanged looks and one asked, “What language is he speaking?”
Perhaps that last one was a bit of a stretch, but--
“All right, cut the crap.” The man handed his ruined drink to one of them and then removed his soiled jacket, throwing it at the other. “If you’re gonna be smart about it, I’m gonna hafta teach you a lesson.” He rolled up his sleeves and it was then that Izuki realized that he probably should have just explained himself properly from the start.
But those coffee puns were too tempting!
And with that thought in mind, Izuki prepared himself to be punched in the face. He squeezed his eyes shut -- gotta protect the merchandise -- and waited. But...the punch never came.
“What do you think you’re doing?” a familiar voice shouted.
Izuki opened his eyes and came face to...well, back with another person. He glanced up and recognized the short, spiky strawberry blond hair.
“You just randomly punch people in the middle of the streets in Tokyo?” Hayama asked, sounding more threatening that Izuki had ever heard him. He peered over his shoulder at the delinquents. They did not look impressed.
“Not that it’s any of your business,” the man said. “But your boyfriend over there spilled coffee all over my new jacket. And then he claimed he’s got no money on him.” He scoffed. “So, I was just tryin’ to even things out.”
Izuki’s face flushed. Admittedly, he should have been nervous for his and Hayama’s well-being. Or grateful that the other man had shown up at all -- what were the odds of him being in Tokyo? -- But instead...he was focusing on what the coffee guy had said. ‘Your boyfriend.’
Sure, they’d kept in contact after the Winter Cup, exchanging texts and calling on occasion. But they hadn’t really…
“I’ll pay for your cleaning bill.” Hayama took a wad of bills out of his pocket. Whoa. Izuki had never really thought about it before, but were all Rakuzan students loaded like Akashi? He blinked and focused on what was happening. Hayama pulled a couple thousand yen notes from the stack and handed it to Coffee Guy. “And a little extra for the trouble.”
The man eyed the money in his hand, exchanged glances with his ‘friends’, and then gave Hayama a wicked grin. “Looks like you got plenty of cash to spare, huh?” He chuckled, the others echoing him. “What say you give me a bit more for my...trouble.”
Hayama stuffed his money back into his pocket and spoke to them, his voice low. “You got what you wanted. Now go.” He threw an arm out, blocking Izuki’s view.
“I don’t think you understand who you’re dealin’ with.” The man sneered. He cocked his head to the side, smirking at Izuki. “Give us the rest of your cash or we might accidentally mess up your boyfriend’s pretty face.”
At that, Hayama growled, clenching his fists. “Turn around and leave now.”
“Or what?” one of them said with a laugh. But then, all of a sudden, the three looked terrified. And, in a blink, they’d turned tail and run. “We’ll let you off easy this time!”
Izuki raised his brows. What had Hayama done to…?
“Oh my! Fancy running into you two,” another familiar voice called from behind them. Both Hayama and Izuki turned to see Mibuchi and Nebuya. They were surprisingly close. When had they gotten there?
“Oh, Reo-nee, Ei-chan,” Hayama greeted them. “I was just going to check out the shops when I spotted Shun.”
Izuki’s cheeks grew warm again. Hayama had called him that a few times over the phone. But to hear it right from the source was...something else.
“We only just arrived,” Mibuchi said and then elbowed Nebuya.
“Yeah. Just got here.” He cleared his throat and looked pointedly away.
Ah, so the delinquents realized it was a fairer fight. That explained their sudden departure.
“What are you doing here, if I might ask?” Izuki finally found his voice.
“We’ve got a practice game with Shuutoku tomorrow morning,” Hayama explained, his cheeks tinting pink, along with the tips of his ears. “I was going to tell you, but I wanted to keep it a surprise.” He looked adorable like that.
“Well, we have plans for dinner,” Mibuchi said, grabbing Nebuya’s arm. “Plus, we’ve got to track down Sei-chan before he leaves us wandering around Tokyo again.” He chortled. “Toodles!” And just like that, they were gone.
Izuki stood there awkwardly for a moment. Then, he remembered himself. “Thank you,” he said to Hayama. “For saving me back there.” He wet his lips. “That’s the last time I pick a fight with three people,” he paused. “The odds were against me.”
He expected Hayama to laugh. Hayama always laughed. He was the only one who ever did. But the other was silent. Izuki blinked up at him. Then, he found himself pulled into a tight hug.
“I was so scared,” Hayama breathed against his temple. “I saw that man about to punch you and I…” He swallowed. “I don’t think I’ve ever run that fast in my life.”
Izuki lifted the hand that wasn’t pinned against him by Hayama’s chest and gave the other’s arm a pat. “Thank you,” he said again. “And I’m sorry I scared you.”
Hayama pulled back, placing his hands on Izuki’s shoulders. He ducked his head so they were eye to eye. “I’ll protect you no matter what,” he vowed. “Even if it kills me.” Then he gave an awkward little chuckle. “I mean, I really hope it doesn’t come to that, but--”
Without thinking, Izuki kissed him. He just surged forward and pressed their lips together. And before he could regret it -- not that he would -- Hayama kissed him back, slipping his fingers into Izuki’s hair and pulling him impossibly closer.
After a moment, they broke apart, both panting slightly, a flush high on their cheeks. “So, I guess that saves me the trouble of asking you out,” Hayama said. Then his eyes widened. “I mean, unless that was just how you show gratitude--”
Izuki kissed him again. Just a quick little peck. Then he smiled. “Yes and no,” he replied to both. “I mean, Coffee Guy already thought you were my boyfriend, so…” He looked up at Hayama through his bangs. “Oh, and I’ll pay you back when we get to my house.”
Hayama’s eyes grew large. “Shun, it’s our first date and you’re already inviting me back to your place?”
With a sigh, Izuki rolled his eyes. “I left my wallet at home,” he said. “Where my mom and sisters just so happen to be.”
“Oh.” Hayama’s cheeks tinted. “Well, I wouldn’t mind meeting them. Do they make puns, too?”
Suddenly, Izuki pictured Hayama rolling on the floor laughing as his family assaulted him with all of their best material. He shook the image of his mind. “Actually,” he said. “Why don’t we grab something for dinner instead?” he suggested. “And I can pay you back later?”
Hayama grinned. “No need to repay me,” he offered, holding out his arm. “This is a date, after all.”
Izuki accepted, but chose instead to hold his hand. It was calloused and incredibly warm. “A date, huh?” he questioned. “I plum forgot.” He grinned. “But that’s just peachy.”
Beside him, Hayama roared with laughter. “I’m just glad I got here when I did, so I could cherry you up.”
Izuki snorted at that, but shook his head. “Kota, please leave the puns to me.”

izuki, riko, midorima and mibuchi for the character ask please 💗💗
ithank u for the ask!! ❤️❤️ i’ve answered izuki and riko here
Midorima
Why I like them: midorima is easily willing to change and grow, he changes himself so so much and is ready to accept his mistakes. though he seems proud, he’s willing to lay that aside and change his worldview. i know this reading sounds strange but if you look at his character arc and story, midorima is the miracle member that always had the most open mindset. he may not like kuroko, but he’s humble enough to respect him. he might be a bit arrogant but he’s also 100% ready to accept new things. he’s also so hardworking and clever and just- he’s a great character!
Why I don’t: midorima was complicit in the 111-11 thing and didn’t show much remorse for it. he can also be very selfish and doesn’t often consider others’ needs (although i feel like he can definitely grow from this - and does go out of his way to help people)
Favorite episode (scene if movie): s3 e6, the sky-direct shot. that shit’s just so good it encapsulates basically everything i love about mido! he’s learned so much and come so far and is now relying on his friends. also the amount of work that went into that pass is just *sobs*
Favorite season/movie: s2, i loved his interactions with kagami and the way he helped him without showing it. it shows that midorima while often selfish can be selfless when he wants to
Favorite line: “No one on this team could ever be useless.” it just shows how much growing and learning midorima has done and how much he’s changed. i cried at this line, i kid you not
Favorite outfit: his orange uniform he looks like a carrot and i love it <3
OTP: midokaga okay i was sold when kagami wrote his name and number ;) on mido’s hand. also the angst that can come out of mido considering kaga his rival but kaga’s one and only true rival being aomine...
Brotp: midotaka. i have the feeling that if midorima ever discovers memes it’s over for the rest of the world
Head Canon: how dare you ask me to pick only one /j. anyway midorima becomes captain in his 3rd year with takao as VC. i think he will mature and grow enough to be a responsible leader and will know how to push his team just right. i would’ve said “he’s neurodivergent” but like... if you are headcanoning midorima as neurotypical in 2020 idk what to tell you
Unpopular opinion: midorima’s oha asa isn’t ‘annoying’ or a ‘funny quirk’, it’s his hyperfixation and that’s great! he derives happiness from it so the fandom needs to stop making a joke of it
A wish: we get some midorima backstory - i need to know what his sister’s like. i dont care about his parents tho bc i know that fujimaki will never make mido’s trans lesbian moms canon
An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: mido ever losing his confidence in himself. that’s a very beautiful thing about him and i think if he lost his confidence he would be totally shattered - it’s what keeps him moving forward
5 words to best describe them: “best broccoli/daikon/carrot man”
My nickname for them: mido/tarou
Mibuchi
Why I like them: lots of reasons! mibuchi’s very interesting as a character, he’s sassy and smart but also gentle with those he cares for. it’s lovely
Why I don’t: he can be a bit of an ass to those he doesn’t really know/opposing teams. also, i know this is stereotyping on fujimaki’s part and i fucking hate him for it, but it felt so wrong when mibu tried to ‘flirt’ with hyuuga. (glasses-bastard’s reaction is another story entirely, but... let’s not go there my bp is high enough already)
Favorite episode (scene if movie): sometime in s3, the first time he shot ‘void’. it was so terrifying and electrifying, just fantastic
Favorite season/movie: s3 since he only showed up there lmao
Favorite line: “I’ll show you something nice.” mibuchi respected koganei enough to stop holding back here, which was amazing <3
Favorite outfit: the rakuzan school uniform he truly looks awesome in it
OTP: kogamibu (i have a thing for rivals adhskjdshdkj)
Brotp: akamibu, i love them being silly tgt as they don’t have to be dignified around each other
Head Canon: mibuchi is partially deaf and uses sign language with nebuya and hayama
Unpopular opinion: his last game haircut is pretty great actually he looks cute
A wish: he gets to not be stereotyped lmao
An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: hyuuga getting within 10 metres of him ever again. ever
5 words to best describe them: “sass, class, will kick ass”
My nickname for them: mibu/reo

When You Get Hit With A Basketball
(N/N)- Nickname
Akaski:
You were waiting in the gym and watching to guys practice. You had your headphones on listening to Waiting for Sumperman and you had them low enough to hear what was going on, so you know when to cheer and clap for them. They were practicing passing drills when it happened. You saw the basketball flying towards you but it was to late and smacked you right in the face, and the force sent you backwards causing your butt to land in the place for feet in the second row.
"(F/N)!" A panicked yells sounds through the gym. It was the voice of your boyfriend Akaski Seijuro. You push yourself upwards and notice something warm and wet was dripping down you face onto your lip. Your hands reachs up to find blood; the basketball had caused a bloody nose. Also you figured there would be a bruise on your nose. "Are you ok?" Akaski asks and the rest of the team stands behind him worried. You move your hand away showing them the blood which was starting to cover more of your mouth. They looked shocked at first, but react quickly rushing to get tissues and something to get rid of the blood. Akaski sits next to you wrapping his arm around your shoulder rubbing your arm up and down.
"(N/N) here are tissues and a wet rag." Hayama say handing you the tissues and Akaski the wet rag. "Also sorry I wasn't paying attention and when Nebuya passed it, it hit you." He apologizes moving back and fourth on his feet nervously while Akaski gets rid of the blood on your mouth and under your nose and your hand.
"It's fine you didn't mean to. Don't worry about Hayama even the amazing and talented Rakuzan basketball team make mistakes. Plus I probably would have ran into something sooner or later getting a bloody nose." You say pressing one one the tissues to your nose.
"Thank you (N/N)!" He say happily giving you a quick hug and went to tell the rest of the team you were fine.
"You sure your ok (F/N)?" Akaski questions helping you up.
"Yeah, but I'm going to head to the girls locker room before I drip blood all over the floor." You grab the rest of the tissues and head to the locker room with Akaski following behind you. He decided not leave you until the blood stopped. To say the least he was slightly freaked when he saw you going crashing backwards and when he saw the blood.
Aomine:
You sat on the bleachers listening to music watching the baseball team practice. You were in your own world listening to Shut Up and Dance and you were singing quietly to yourself. You watch as Aomine makes a basket and you cheer and clap for him. That is when it all goes down hill from there; Aomine was working on passing when he passed it to far to the right. You saw it coming, but you had no chance to react. The basketball was headed straight for you. You felt it slamming into your stomach and you doubled over in pain collapsing to the floor. You let a moan of pain and clutching your stomach.
"(F/N)!" Aomine yells running over to you. You lift you head up to see your boyfriend rushing over and letting a pitiful smile make its way onto your face. He bends down and pulls you into his chest. "Are you ok?"
"Do I look ok to you Aho?" You answer sarcastically groaning from the new wave of pain that was spreading throughout your body.
"So that's a no?" He asks smirking and you just glare at him. "I'm shutting up." He say lifting his arms up in defense, but that was mistake. His arms were holding you and yours were holding your stomach, so you end up rolling off his lap and hitting the floor. You let a hiss of pain from the new wave of pain spreading through your body.
You turn your head in Aomine direction let a harsh glare. "I'm going to kick you sorry ass, so you had better start running."  Aomine could tell you were dead serious. He chuckled nervously and kissed your forehead and ran so fast he could have left a dust trail behind him. "Someone get me some ice for my stomach and (F/F) ice cream." You say as loud as you could and you watch as the rest of them rush off getting what you wanted.
Kagami:
You were practicing with Kagami and he was teaching you how to guard. You of course knew how already but you thought it was fun learning the basics once again. You two were having a five minute game and you were trailing by two points. You could tell quickly that Kagami was going easy trying to make things fair. You wanted to show him that you knew what you were doing but you knew better.
You were currently guarding Kagami so he wouldn't score. That is when it happened. He made the a slam dunk shot and it went in of course , but you choice to turn your back on the basketball that had been slammed towards the ground. It bounced off the court and hit you in the back of the head. You could feel it hitting your head and falling forward. Kagami catches you before you hit the ground.
He lays you on the ground, "(F/N)! Are you ok? Can you hear me?"
"I can hear just fine Taiga, but the its the back of my head that hurts." You respond sitting up and rubbing the back of your head wincing in pain every time your hand pressed too hard on the spot the ball hit.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. It was an accident; I didn't think that it would do that." Kagami apologizes.
You let out a sigh and give him a kiss on the cheek. "It is fine. But you owe me an ice cream got it."
Kagami smiles nods his head. "Got it!" You laugh at him.
Kise:
It was normal practice. Kasamatsu-senpai was beating up Kise for being and idiot and having all his fangirls around cheering and scream like, as he puts it, banshees. You were also starting to become annoyed with them also, but you didn't say anything. You put you headphones on and listen I Want Crazy while watching the practice go on. You saw a good warm up that you decide to mention to Emma later on. It was one you had seen before. The would do different passing drills depending on what number the couch would yell.
Now of course you would choose this exact moment to fill your water bottle up. The pass was chest and bounce pass. One of first years threw the ball to hard and his partner couldn't catch it and it was your right side that paid the price for the mistake. You could feel it as impacted your side and when you went down. And you went down hard. You could hear a panicked voice yelling out your name. It was Kise's.
"(F/N)-chin!" Kise rushes over to you. He was in panicked frenzy, and he wasn't sure what to do. He kept shooting your name and other random thing you couldn't make out . Kasamatus was able to kick some sense into Kise and stopped him running around like a headless chicken. You started laughing which just causes more pain so your laughter turned into whimpers of pain.
"I shouldn't have laughed." You mutter to your self
"Do you need anything?" Kise asks bending down by your side. After his car
"Can I have some ice please?" You ask feebly. Kise give you a quick kiss on the cheek and rushes off to get the ice and you just watch as he goes.
Kuroko:
It was normal practice, and you sat on the bleachers watching not knowing what was about to go down. Sasha had gone to fill up the water bottles and you sat listening to Tell Her You Love Her. Of course you were so absorbed in the song you didn't see it coming, but wasn't like you were going to. You something round and orange in your peripheral vision come at but before you could react the left side of you head cheek had a stinging pain running through them and you let out a soft cry of pain reaching up to your face.
"(F/N) are you ok?" A voice asks softly in front of you. You look up to see your boyfriend standing there with his usual poker face but his eyes showed concern.
"The side of my head is going to hurt but I'll be fine." You smiling through the pain you were in.
"Do you need anything?" Kuroko asks.
You think about it momentarily trying to decide if you really need anything, but your face did sting a bit. "Can I get some ice?"
"Of course I'll go get it." Kuroko runs, or as fast as he can run, to go get you some ice. The rest of the team decides to come over and check on you now.
Midorima:
It was a normal basketball practice. Well, normal until Takao started to annoy your boyfriend. At first Midorima was shooting free throws and Takao was working on defense drill, but Takao got bored and went to bug the carrot a bit. Now you and the rest of the team had to hold in your laughter in at the sight; Takao keep poking Midorima repeatedly saying don't miss over and over again. Midorima had enough of it threw a basketball at him which he ducked a missed, but Midorima had plenty more and continued to throw them. Takao keep dodging, but you on the other hand weren't so lucky. One that missed Takao went straight at you, and you tried to duck but it hit your forehead, hard. You let out a yelp of pain going up rubbing your forehead.
"(N/N)!!! I'm so sorry I shouldn't have moved around you then it would have missed you!" Takao wails out hugging the life out of you.
"Takao it's fine, and it isn't your fault." You respond trying to get him off of you so you could breath. Suddenly someone yanks him away. You look up to see Midorima glaring at Takao.
"Do you need anything? It's not like I'm concerned or anything." He asks with a slight blush on his cheeks.
"Can I get some ice, water, and something for a headache please?" You ask smiling. Midorima nods and walks off dragging Takao with him,
Murasakibara:
You sat at practice watching how well team works together. You enjoy watching people and the way the interact with each other, and you could find the smallest detail that most people would miss. But what you failed to realize  at the time was the ball that went of course and was now flying through the air right at you. The rest of the team saw it before you did, and you happened to stand up turning you back on it. They yelled your name as fell onto the basketball court from the impact; you felt the slamming pain of something hitting your back hard and it hurt.
You suddenly felt yourself begin lifted up it to the air. You open your eyes to see your boyfriend Murasakibara holding you up begin carful not to touch where the ball had hit you.
"Do you need ice?" He asks gently with a concerned look on his face.
"That would be nice." You respond smiling, "Can we get ice cream after practice also?"
His face lights up at ice cream. "Sure we can, let's go get the ice." At that he carries you to go and get ice so maybe your back didn't hurt to much.

A/N: I haven’t posted anything in a month but I really wanted to finish this akafuri fic. I wrote dialogue first which is not my usual writing method but eh, it was fun.
Summery: Uncrowned Kings try figure out who Akashi is dating, with great speculations and misplaced indignation. Akashi is confused by his starters but is mostly focused on his phone. Mayuzumi is there for the voice of reason that everyone ignores.
Full version here, which contains a bonus scene.
OoO
Reo watched Akashi walk out of the locker room, her eyes narrowing at the almost bounce in his step. “Have any of you noticed Sei-chan has been acting weird?"
Nebuya gave her a dubious look. “You know this is the same person who did offer to gouge out his eyeballs and give them to us if we lost a game, right?”
“But he’s a lot less insane now since we lost the Winter Cup!” Hayama was quick to defend, head pocking out of his t-shirt. “We’re allowed to check our cell phones during breaks now!”
Reo nodded. “And last week he lessened our training regimen when I asked him to.”
“Yesterday he helped me study for the science test,” Nebuya added.
“And that’s exactly my point.” Reo snapped her fingers. “He’s been calmer since the Winter Cup, true, but these past three weeks he’s been nice.”
This gave them all a pause.
“Didn’t just last month he confiscated a third year’s phone, saying he would drop it from the school roof if he saw it again?” asked Hayama, remembering that terrifying incident. The poor boy looked like he was going to cry.
Reo looked over at Nebuya. “How was your tutoring session?”
“It was pleasant and helpful,” Nebuya said, in growing horror. “He even brought snacks.”
They all began to panic.
“Is he sick? What if he’s dying?” Hayama frantically asked.
“Do you think the pressure of being captain at such a young age has finally broken him?” wondered Reo.
“Maybe aliens have laid eggs in his brains and are messing with his head.”
Nebuya joined in the conspiracy. “What if he's been replaced by an alien?”
“I mean; I’ve been telling you guys from the beginning that Akashi isn’t human,” Hayama said, exasperated. “His eye changes colour.”
“Trick of the light, I’m telling you,” Reo dismissed.
“They glow during game time!”
“Adrenaline.”
“Maybe he’s dating someone?” Mayuzumi threw in, wondering why he was joining their, frankly, ridiculous conversation. He was going to put it down to vague curiosity.
“What?” This suggestion threw the Uncrowned Kings.
“You said he lifted the banned on phones, right?” Reo nodded when Mayuzumi looked at her in confirmation. “He did so he could check his. Simple.”
“The lessen training time?” Hayama hesitantly asked.
“To spend more time with his partner.”
“Being nice while tutoring me?”
Mayuzumi shrugged. “Good sex?”
There was an awkward pause as the idea of their captain have sex became a possibility.
Reo grimaced and quickly asked the main question, “But who would Sei-chan date?”
“And more importantly,” Hayama added. “Who would date Akashi?”
“Do you think he would make a good boyfriend?” Mayuzumi asked, honestly just to see what the Uncrown Kings reactions would be. Nebuya face was still frozen in discomfort from his earlier comment and it was pretty amusing.
Reo hesitated. “I… don’t know. I can’t imagine Sei-chan liking someone to that degree.”
Hayama nodded. “It would have to be someone special. Someone from Rakuzan?”
“Can’t be, or we would know.”
“So someone from another school. A cute manager? Maybe it’s the one that was also with the Generation of Miracles!” Hayama excitedly said, looking like he cracked the code.
Reo shook her head. “She’s in love with Kuroko, remember?”
Hayama waved his hand dismissively. “Aren’t all the Miracles in love with Kuroko?”
Reo froze, staring widely at Hayama. “You don’t think…?”
“But isn’t he with Kagami?” Hayama asked in alarm, catching onto what Reo was implying.
“But Akashi could still…” Reo made a vague hand movement that somehow explained everything she refused to say.
“It could be another basketball player that isn’t Kuroko?” Nebuya hesitantly offered, seemingly coming back from the dark place he went off to. Mayuzumi honestly wasn’t surprised by their easy acceptance of Akashi possibly dating a boy, but it was pleasantly nice to confirm it.
“I guess,” Reo dubiously agreed. “But who?”
“Oh!” Hayama exclaimed suddenly. “We can steal his phone and see!”
“Or we could ask him?” offered Mayuzumi, the only sensible person in this conversation.
He was ignored.
OoO
Getting Akashi’s phone proved to be a bit more difficult than just grabbing it while he was busy.
“Because Akashi sees everything,” Hayama hissed, sending quick looks at Akashi who was, coincidentally, on his phone.
Reo rolled her eyes. “My God, you make him sound like a super-villain.” And wasn’t that a terrifying thought, because there was no doubt that Akashi would make a very successful villain. He already has the tragic backstory for one.
Hayama, in a panic way to create a distraction, challenged Akashi to a one-on-one. The match itself was like watching a car accident, nothing was going to turn out well but you couldn’t look away. It was short and brutal. The phone was forgotten in favour of watching the carnage.
The closest they came was when Akashi was taking a shower. They managed to locate the phone in his bag, after way too long rummaging. However, it was password protected, which was a low move on Akashis half. It made snooping very hard.
Hayama peered over Reo’s shoulder at the phone. “Try 1234.”
Reo scoffed. “That’s dumb. Maybe his birthday?”
“Do aliens even have birthdays?”
“For the last time, he’s not an alien.”
“Felt that way facing off him.” Hayama leaned back, pouting.
Before they could even attempt to break the code, Nebuya waved his hands frantically from his lookout position as they heard the shower go off. Luckily for them, a message came through the same time, appearing on the front screen. In their panic, they could only see the letter “K” in the contact name before the phone was shoved haphazardly back into the bag.
Akashi walked in and gave his starters weird looks. That was probably because their idea of acting natural was to pose like they were on the front cover of a style magazine. Reo was lounging on a bench as if to seduce a lover. Akashi was rightfully suspicious and not seduced at all.
OoO
“I’m telling you that it’s Kuroko,” Reo hissed, walking down the street while still doing her tie.
They left the changing rooms as soon as they could. Reo and Hayama are buzzing from their new-found knowledge, while Nebuya less excited but still curious. Mayuzumi was there because this was his way home and it seemed more effort to try and ditch the three idiots than to walk behind them.
Hayama was still doubtful on their leading suspect. “I don’t think Kuroko is one to cheat on his boyfriend.”
“But it’s Sei-chan,” Reo shot back. “Who wouldn’t cheat on their lover for Sei-chan?”
“People who actually value their lives?” Hayama’s voice went up a few notches because no one could be that suicidal, could they? He quickly added, “Also, I don’t think Akashi would take it too kindly to being a side chick. He would want to be the main hoe.”
Nebuya groaned. “Can we please stop putting our captain in sexual scenarios?”
Reo ignored Nebuya. “Does this make Sei-chan a homewrecker?”
Hayama eyes went wide, as he never thought of his captain like that. “He really is a villain!”
“We have to stop him!” Reo slammed her fist in her hand in righteous declaration.
“Yeah!” Hayama said with the same enthusiasm, fist in the air.
“But how?” Nebuya asked, confused but determined to help his captain in any way.
“By confronting him of his bad ways!” Reo exclaimed, a steely glint in her eyes.
“And help him find a better, healthy relationship!” Hayama was now visibly vibrating.
“He’s obviously trapped in some situation and he needs to be broken free!”
“Shown the error of his way and lead down a path of redemption!”
“God help us all,” Mayuzumi deadpanned from the back.
OoO
“Sei-chan!” yelled Reo, storming towards him. She wasted no time and decided to confront him the next day before morning practice. Nebuya and Hayama approached at a slower pace but both looking just as unwavering. Akashi raised one eyebrow at them.
“You must stop your harmful ways right now!”
“What-”
Hayama jumped in before Akashi could complete his baffled question. “We know about your little secret relationship.”
Nebuya nodded coldly.
Akashi’s eyes lit up in recognition. “Oh, you know about-”
“And honestly, I’m appalled” Reo was so wound up that she even went as far as to stab Akashi in the chest. Hayama and Nebuya quickly lost their resolve in favour of staring at Reo in horror. No one dared to get close to Akashi, not for a friendly slap or high-five, and especially not to poke him in disapproval.
Akashi looked down at the offending finger before fixing Reo with a look that sent goosebumps down Hayama’s arms. “Excuse me.”
Nebuya visibly flinched at Akashi’s tone. “Uh oh.”
“Maybe we should stop.” Hayama was bouncing from foot to foot in nervous energy, literally feeling the air get colder as Akashi glared at Reo.
Reo clearly had a death wish, for she pushed on regardless. “To be involved with someone like that is honestly a disgrace. I thought you had better taste, or at the very least better tact.”
“Really.”
“Is his eye glowing?” Nebuya whispered to Hayama in fear.
“Told you,” Hayama hissed back.
Both of them took a few cautious steps back, leaving Reo to her suicidal mission.
Let it be said, if Reo felt passionate about something, nothing stood in her way. “We are all aware how emotionally stunted you are, but that does that excuse you’re behaviour. To go ahead with the relationship, where the long distance is most likely already a strain but to also be with someone who would stoop so low as to agree with it as well, is ludicrous. Sei-chan, you can do a lot better than him. You don’t need to settle for a vile bastard like him.”
“You do not get to speak about Kouki like this,” Akashi spat, looking ten seconds from murdering Reo.
Reo jaw dropped in disbelief. “You’re dating another person? Sei-chan, you’re no better than Kuroko!”
“What does Kuroko have to do with any of this?!”
Reo frowned at the frustrated confusion on Akashi’s face, finger dropping. “What do you mean?”
“For God’s sake,” Mayuzumi muttered, having entered the court around the middle of Reo’s rant and was fully done with the Uncrowned Kings’ shenanigans. “Are you dating Kuroko or not?”
“Of course not,” Akashi grounded out through clenched teeth.
Reo squinted at Akashi. “Then who are you dating?”
“Furihata Kouki.”
The Uncrowned Kings blinked in baffled union. “… Who?”
“Serin’s point guard.”
“I never thought Akashi would be into older men,” said Hayama.
“Not that one,” Akashi said with very little patience. Mayuzumi was honestly amazed that he had any. “The other one.”
Hayama blinked in surprise. “They had another point guard?”
“Oh,” Reo exclaimed. “They had the first year, right?”
Nebuya frowned. “The really scared one? But Akashi, why would you date someone so weak and-”
Hayama was very quick to jab Nebuya sharply in his sides as the murderous look came creeping back onto Akashi’s face.
“And very lovely,” Hayama rushed to continue, loudly over Nebuya’s pained wheezing. “And kind, and great in bed-”
Reo smartly stepped back onto Hayama’s foot before he did any further damage, a bright smile on her face as she smoothly finished, “And we’re really happy for you Sei-chan. We should meet him sometime.”
Akashi narrowed his eyes at the suggestion. “Over your dead body.”
“Isn’t the dead body supposed to be yours?” Hayama asked absently, more worried about his foot then what he was saying. That is until he looked up and saw Akashi’s irritated expression and hastily corrected himself, “Right, never mind, over mine.”
A/N: And that's basically it done. If anyone has some helpful criticism, it would be much appreciated. I don’t know if I should have a bonus meeting where they actually see Furi but I’m not too sure what to write for that. Suggestions?

KnB Stageplay Ultimate Blaze Report (5/5, 5/11, 5/19 Livestream)
Okay I know I said I’d do my report after my second viewing on the 11th but then the finale was on the 19th so I thought I’d wait til then so it’d be easier to remember everything. A 3.5 hour play is super long....
So I watched the play live on the 5th and 11th, and the finale on livestream on the 19th. This is the very last Kurosute ever...Thank you Kurosute for 4 years of wonderful casting and performances. I also want to thank Ono Kensho for once again doing an outstanding job of his role as Kuroko.
FYI, for those who also watched the livestream or plan to purchase the delayed stream, sharing pictures/screenshots or clips in public is prohibited. As such, I will not have any pictures included in this report. Please support the franchise by purchasing the DVD or Blu-Ray.
Major spoilers ahead. Proceed if you only wish to be spoiled. Again, this was a 3.5 hour play so this is VERY, VERY, long.
EDIT: This took me two days to type out ORZ
Tumblr media
Before the play starts, Tsuchida’s actor has a voice over on the intercom about stageplay rules and manners. Turn off/mute your phone, no recording, etc. It’s nice that they had him still do his rules even though he wasn’t in the play. ;w;
The play opens up with the Yosen and Seirin scoreboard and Haizaki walking in the audience
Haizaki goes up to a random girl in the audience and flirts with her asking for her phone number.
On the show on the 5th the girl just tried to ignore him lmao
Kagami walks on stage and sees him and calls him out. Haizaki then confronts him saying he beat Mukkun and taunts him until a ball is thrown from the side at him. Kise comes on stage and the whole Haizaki and Kise bickering proceeds.
Haizaki gets REALLY close to Kise like literally breathing down the neck kind of close. How Mario didn’t flinch is beyond me.
Kagami learns that Kise has never beaten Haizaki, and eventually Haizaki leaves. Kise tells Kagami to leave Haizaki up to him.
Kise leaves and Kuroko comes on, using misdirection on Kagami. Kagami asks Kuroko who Haizaki is and that he’s met him. Kuroko explains he’s a former teammate but that he was still a regular so regardless he’s a strong player. Hyuuga and Seirin come telling them off and says they’re going to watch the first quarterfinal match of Kaijou vs Fukuda Sougo.
The opening song for this play’s dance is “Memories.” Personally this is my favorite one so far. I think I have the team order for this correctly...
Opens up with Seirin then switches to Kaijou proceeded by Shuutoku. Then there’s a Kaijou Shuutoku and Haizaki segment.
I just want to say how good Haizaki’s actor is and how his moves were so appropriate as Haizaki....wow
Seirin comes back on for a bit then exits with Aomine and Momoi taking over.
Oh, for the 5th I had Airi (new Momoi) and 11th and 19th were Arisa (original Momoi)
Mukkun does his own dancing segment between Aomine and Momoi
for the 19th finale he danced with a lollipop in his mouth. Isnt’ that dangerous? Lol
Akashi comes out with his jacket on his shoulders to the front of the stage, Then quickly takes it off and runs back. Rakuzan then dances in the front (without Akashi) and Seirin joins back on.
For the instrumental intermission, Kuroko goes to the center and each of the GoM come out and then surround him and do a short dance ending with a dance motion of their signature move/pose.
GoM exit and Kuroko watches Akashi run off  (who went directly back) with a pained face, and Ogiwara runs out all smiley (seriously protect this boy he’s so pure) . Ogiwara runs off to the side and Kuroko chases after him. As Kuroko still looks pained, Kagami comes out on the other side and the two walk towards the center and meet in a fist bump.
The last chorus everyone (except Ogiwara) comes out. (Yes, including Mayuzumi). The song ends with each team forming a group pose (Except Rakuzan, Mayuzumi runs off before they form a pose)
All the other teams run off leaving Seirin left, and the senpais then exit leaving only Kuroko and Kagami to do one last running motion as the display title falls on the back. The two of them fist bump again as the title falls.
The play resumes with the match against Kaijou and Fukuda already starting. There are two other members on Fukuda besides Haizaki (apparently they are Ogiwara and Mayuzumi’s actors in black wigs hahahaha)
As always, the match more or less follows the manga/anime so I’ll leave out most of the story details. Most of it is gameplay anyway.
In this play, they’ve really incorporated more ball handling, aka using the real ball.
Seirin is watching in the back. At some point Aomine and Momoi join in to watch. (I can’t remember if Mukkun joins in to watch here or later...I’m almost certain he joins later)
After the match with Kaijou’s victory, Kise limps off with his injured leg. Then Haizaki walks back on stage, looking for Kise. Aomine sees him and tells him Kise hasn’t come out yet from the stadium. The two have their argument and Haizaki tries to punch Aomine but Aomine beats him too it. Aomine always says some sort of variation of “Oops..I did it....Eh, he’ll be fine”
Scene changes to Kagami calling someone, which is revealed to be Kuroko, saying his shoes broke. Kuroko replies how his feet are unnecessarily big (Kagami: OI!!). Kuroko says he’ll have to call ‘that person.’
‘That person’ is revealed to be Momoi as she runs up and gives Kuroko a tight hug. She tells Kagami that Aomine will give him one of his many shoes and that Kagami’s the type that wears by model rather than care for color.
As Aomine and Kagami are playing basketball in the back (Aomine lecturing him) , Momoi tells Kuroko about Aomine punching Haizaki.
Aomine finishes the quick game and convinces Kagami to accept the shoes.
The scene ends with Kagami and Aomine stupidly arguing and Momoi and Kuroko are literally dragging them off the stage.
For the May 5th show, they just literally drag them off
For the  May 11th and 19th, Kuroko jabs Kagami in the stomach and pushes him off as Momoi pulls Aomine off.
Midorima walks on stage prepared for the semifinals.
His lucky item is a giant shogi piece
The rest of Shuutoku join him and the senpai question why the shogi piece is so big. Miyaji asks Midorima what rank is Cancer that day and he says 2nd and he gets mad. Takao says Midorima is never wrong with Oha Asa but Miyaji asks  for a pineapple from Kimura (off stage) anyway.
Shuutoku is introduced as the first team of the semifinals with Rakuzan following (except Mayuzumi).
Seirin is in the back again and Hyuuga explains how the other Uncrowned Kings are in Rakuzan with Akashi.
The Shuutoku supporters are ‘jacket mob’ actors which are Haizaki and Kaijou
Haizaki’s actor kept dancing around with Mario.....
Ogiwara’s actor is the referee for this match.
Again , more gameplay here. For the actual story read the manga or watch the anime.
For the May 11th show, there were a lot of ball handling errors here.
Otsubo was supposed to pass a ball to Midorima but Nebuya accidentally caught it instead, so he quickly passed it back to Otsubo who passed it to Midorima again.
Midorima ‘shot’ the ball but the ball bounced against a railing and into the audience. It was during the part where he and Takao do the miracle shot. In the script, the senpais pat and hug Midorima and Takao for pulling off the play anyway but for this show they gave Midorima extra hugs and paps for the mistake. How sweet.
One of Reo’s shots also bounced against a railing but it was towards the back so the ball just rolled behind the front fence
Akashi uses a real ball for his Ankle Break. He dribbles the ball around his legs and finishes with the ball going between his legs and catches it. I’ve never seen him mess up nor seen any reports of him doing so.
Mukkun joins Aomine and Momoi in watching the match.
During Hayama’s speed dribble, everyone who is watching ‘shakes’ to the vibration. I don’t know whose idea it was but Mukkun excessively shakes to the point he looks like he’s being electrocuted or something haha. Oh yeah, he’s eating Pocky in this match, real Pocky.
Mayuzumi was out most of the match but occasionally you see him run past between the main fence as he ‘passes’ the ball to Akashi.
When Shuutoku loses, Takao and Midorima are crying real tears. For the finale, everyone was crying...
The scene immediately changes to playing Punky Funky Love and Kaijo senpais practicing. Talk about a mood change. I was still crying over Midorima crying....
It’s a flashback of when Kise joins Kaijou and Kasamatsu explaining how the senpai have worked longer than him.
Just as Kise leaves, Kuroko and Kagami join the stage and they make eye contact with each other.
Of course as usual, before a break there is the Kagami vs Kuroko janken game. Usually involving Kuroko asking for a longer break and him mostly losing. For this break, it was 10 minutes.
May 5th janken- Kuroko tells Kagami that ten minutes is fine, much to Kagami’s surprise. Instead, Kuroko wagers that if he wins, Kagami must treat him to this fancy eel later. Kuroko wins and Onoken posts on Twitter that Yuya did indeed buy him the eel lmao
May 11th janken-Kuroko again tells Kagami that a ten minute break is fine. This time if he wins, he’ll switch to speaking ‘tameguchi’ which is using the casual form of Japanese (like basically everyone else, aka not using ‘desu/masu’). He actually switches to ‘tameguchi’ as he’s talking to Kagami, and Kagami’s trying his best not to laugh. At some point he says it’s annoying haha. Kagami wins so Kuroko’s like ‘well I guess I’m not speaking in ‘tameguchi’
May 19th- it’s their last time to do janken so Kuroko suggests that this time they just play janken for the heck of it. Kagami’s surprised but goes with it. Kuroko wins to his delight, but Kagami being stubborn begs for one more chance. Kuroko allows it, and they have one more match. Kagami wins and Kuroko kneels in defeat.
Other adlibs I’ve heard were Kuroko asking Kagami to buy him boba tea, and the usual longer breaks like 3 hours.
The second chapter opens with one of the ‘jacket mob people’ making sure the audience’s phones are off. The rest of the jacket mobs come out holding various items, such as a camera, cheering horns, towels, and one member has a corndog.......
These are the Shuutoku+Haizaki and Rakuzan actors.
Akashi was the smallest one with the camera on the Rakuzan side. Also he just had Yohchans body structure anyway I mean-no
The corndog guy was on the Shuutoku+Haizaki side, I’m not sure which it was since it was harder to tell who was who (except Takao)
Seirin and Kaijou are introduced and the second semifinal match begins
May 11-Another mistake in this match. Kise jumps to knock a ball out of someone’s hand from Seirin, but the ball hits a railing and bounces back onto the court so Hayakawa quickly picks it up and throws it off stage
May 11- Kise shoots the ball but either doesn’t put enough power into it or shoots in the wrong curtain so the ball ended up going to Kiyoshi who was just coming out from the side.
The jacket mob members act as the ‘fans’ in the stands. Both support Kaijou at first then Rakuzan cheers for Seirin and Shuutoku+Haizaki for Kise.
For Kagami’s line “This is our drama!” Hyuuga and Kuroko had the most outstanding ‘wtf’ faces
When Kagami said it, he puts his hand and fists together. So Izuki repeats him and continuously punches his hand like a bodybuilder.
Hyuuga taunts Kiyoshi with the “Iron Heart” nickname. For the finale he gets everyone in the audience to chant “Iron Heart” with him and Kiyoshi gets mad, “EVEN IF ITS YOU OR THE AUDIENCE I’LL GET MAD AT YOU GUYS!”
When Kaijou loses, Kise cries real tears, every time when he says he wanted to win with everyone.
For the finale, the other members of Kaijou are seen crying too when they lose...
After Kaijou walks off stage with Kise crying, Seirin comment how they made it to the finals and look at the scoreboard which has now changed to Seirin vs Rakuzan.
Kagami walks on stage noticing his necklace is missing. He starts to look for it and Midorima walks on with his giant shogi piece with the necklace. After he gives it back to Kagami, Kuroko walks on with Takao following.
As Kuroko and Takao are talking, Kagami and Midorima are talking (whispering) to each other. Usually it’s about Kagami pointing out Midorima’s shogi piece and for the May 5th show he even tried to take it much to Midorima’s displeasure.
Midorima tells Takao they’re leaving before telling Kagami there’s two Akashi and tells him to ask Kuroko about it.
Here some really dark music plays and I wish they had a soundtrack for this play.....because wow I got chills
Kuroko tells Kagami that he’ll explain what Midorima meant by the ‘two Akashi’s’ by telling everyone about ‘our past’
At this moment, the instrumental for the Teiko ending song, Ambivalence, plays and Ogiwara runs out (Kagami exits and Kuroko moves so he’s behind Ogiwara who’s facing us). Ogiwara then says “Are you alone? I’m Ogiwara Shigehiro! Let’s play basketball together!” and the stage fades into darkness. This marks the end of chapter 2 and a 15 minute break before the last chapter of the play. During the break the instrumental for Ambivalence is still playing so we’re all just preparing ourselves for the feels.
*Note: The Teiko arc is briefly covered in the play, but the actual arc itself is  covered in the Teiko Reading screening which was available to stream online and in select theaters before the play, including scenes with Nijimura and Coach Sanada. The Teiko Reading only goes up to right before the match between Teiko and Meiko. The play covers highlights of the Teiko arc and the Teiko vs Meiko match.  For those who were unable to watch the Teiko Reading, it’ll be included in the Ultimate Blaze DVD/Blu-Ray.
The third chapter opens up with Ogiwara and Kuroko playing basketball together and Ogiwara confessing that he’ll be moving. The two promise to play against each other in junior high school.
Kuroko explains how by second year, he had moved up to the regulars and he and Ogiwara keep in contact with each other.
Each of the GoM come out in their Teiko practice shirts (and colorful shorts....)
Mukkun had red shorts and Kise had neon green.......
For every other GoM member, they had a dramatic DON! when they appeared. For Kise, he had a super *SPARKLE” effect as he did a double peace sign and smiled.  Kuroko comes out last and his is his ‘misdirection’ sound effect that is often used in the play for him.
Oh yeah, Momoi is here too as she watches over them/Aomine.
The Teiko members do some practicing.
Akashi (who is receiving the passes from someone off stage) passes the ball to the rest of the members on stage.
The scene shows how Kuroko and Aomine work well together.
The scene changes and Kuroko narrates how Aomine has started missing practice. They discuss that maybe he had a valid reason and then the stage darkens to just Kuroko who confirms that the reason for Aomine’s absence was that he was ditching. He calls Ogiwara for advice, who said that Aomine is different from Haizaki in which he actually enjoys basketball and the problem is because he likes basketball. He tells Kuroko that since Aomine helped him, Kuroko needs to be there for Aomine.
Aomine comes on in his Teiko jersey, having regained his happiness with Momoi watching. However the other players give up and he in turn gives up playing his hardest. (there’s no players on the stage but  you have the image based on the sound effects). Kuroko walks on smiling for a fistbump but Aomine walks away saying his “The only one who can beat me is me’ line.
Kuroko gets a call from Ogiwara later saying that he lost in the first round, and that their promise will have to wait til next year.
For the finale, Ogiwara was almost crying, or he was crying....save this boy please.
Kuroko and Momoi talk about Aomine, making no progress. And Momoi asks him if they’ll always be together, in which Kuroko is hesitant to answer.
Slowly, the other GOM members (minus Akashi) slowly realize their abilities.
Mukkun with his ability to block, Midorima with his ability to shoot.
Kuroko then finds Aomine by the river, and the whole “I don’t remember how to receive your passes” scene plays out.
Aomine’s face looks so pained here /cries.
Back at the gym, the rest of the GOM are wondering about Coach Sanada’s approval of Aomine ditching practice, and Mukkun wants to ditch too. Akashi tells him that’s not allowed and the Mukkun vs. Akashi match starts with Bokushi awakening.
Akashi’s acting was so good, the contrast between Ore and Boku. And the music for Bokushi’s appearance was spine-chilling....I want the soundtrack for this please....
They use a mix of actual ball-handling and using an ‘air’ ball. Even without the ball you can tell Akashi’s actor is really good at basketball.
Akashi declares as long as they win, no one needs to show up for practice, much to Midorima’s shock.
Kuroko returns and asks Akashi who he is, and Akashi responds, “Of course, I’m Akashi Seijuurou.”
Months pass and the GOM are unbeatable and getting bored in matches, so Kise suggests making it a competition of who can score the most, with even Akashi joining in.
Ogiwara happily tells Kuroko they made it to the finals, but Kuroko is unhappy with the current atmosphere of the club. He asks Akashi to let him start out in the semi-finals, which Akashi permits.
Ogiwara is impressed with how much Kuroko has improved.
Kuroko gets hit in the head by the other team and is taken to the nurse.
Ogiwara talks with Akashi about Kuroko, and asks Akashi if basketball is fun. Akashi responds he doesn’t understand such a question.
Kuroko asks to play but Akashi tells him no under doctor’s orders, and tells him Ogiwara’s message about playing each other agian someday. Kuroko asks Akashi to not hold back against Meiko.
Despite losing 111-109, Ogiwara is fighting back against Teiko, telling his teammates to score one basket and losing proudly.
Ogiwara shoots and misses, and Aomine complains how they gave him the chance and tells Mukkun to shoot it.
Ogiwara, on the ground, looks at them in confusion to why they would score on their own basket.
Kise happily announces how they reached their goal and that they’re all matching, and points to the scoreboard to reveal the score of 111-11.
Kuroko comes out to see a heartbroken Ogiwara, who looks at him before leaving the stage.
Kuroko talks how painful it is, and what is victory. Onoken’s acting here was emotional, as expected from already portraying Kuroko in the anime.
The GOM come out and line up behind Kuroko similar to the panel in the manga.
Kuroko announces his resignation.
Kuroko narrates how Ogiwara has transferred, and Ogiwara comes out on stage saying how the GOM had such cold eyes, but Kuroko can melt that coldness.
Kagami then comes out, and scolds Kuroko along with the rest of Seirin.
Hyuuga gets mad at both of them and sends Izuki and Koganei to drag Kuroko off and give him a tickle attack. Riko follows.
Kiyoshi and Hyuuga comment how it was a sad story and that Kuroko never talks about himself like that, so now they must win.
The next day is the Kaijou vs Shuutoku match for third place and the finals.
Mukkun meets up with Aomine and Momoi, who talk about who would win. They say third place is decided but the finals could be anyone.
Kise is on the bench due to his injury, and Shuutoku easily wins the third place match.
Midorima tells Kise their match is ‘postponed’ for now.
Kise gets annoyed saying, “WELL OF COURSE. IF I WAS IN THERE I’D WIN”
Kise and Midorima continue to bicker.
Kasamatsu and Otsubo just look at each other and let their kouhais fight it out.
Towards the second half of the runs, when Midorima points his finger at Kise, Kise actually bites his finger. No, I mean it. He actually bites it. Midorima gets grossed out by it.
Midorima: EW SO GROSS NANODAYO Kise: I’M NOT GROSS. I’M PRETTY.
^yes, those were actual lines.
Now it’s time for Seirin vs Rakuzan.
Haizaki’s actor is the referee.
For the tip-off, Nebuya gets upset that Kiyoshi isn’t the one jumping.
Seirin declares Mayuzumi not a threat since there’s little information on him, so Aomine asks Momoi about it. This is an adlib scene and varies per show.
May 5- Aomine asks Momoi to get ‘that’ (her notebook) from her bag. Instead she pulls out one of his gravure photobooks. She proceeds to put it back but Aomine hastily takes it away. Momoi asks Mukkun if it’s in his potato chip bag. He looks in it and pulls out..................a chip. Turns out the notebook was in her bag after all, much to Aomine’s annoyance.
May 11- Instead of her notebook, Momoi kept pulling out Mukkun’s empty potato chip bags. Aomine gets mad, but Mukkun only responds, “They were yummy~.” The notebook again was in her bag after all.
May 19- similar to the May 5 adlib.
When Hayama does his dribbling, Mukkun agains shakes vigorously on the side. This time, since he has chips, he sometimes dropped them on stage. So afterwards, you would see him picking them off the ground.
Both Reo and Mayu admit how loudly annoying Hayama is (they were running across stage too )
When Nebuya gets upset that Kiyoshi doesn’t remember what he told him 2 years ago, he literally throws a tantrum on the ground.
Everyone in both Rakuzan and Seirn:.............
When Akashi goes into the Zone, he actually dribbles around everyone with the ball across the stage. Talk about coordination!
Akashi’s shocked face as he’s starting to lose was perfect too. Sorry I have a lot of Akashi notes....
As he’s starting to lose, Akashi starts switching between Oreshi and Bokushi. Oreshi’s voice has like an echo/autotune effect but it’s not a recording or anything.
Thus, the monologue between Oreshi and Bokushi was amazing. The actor constantly switches between both sides very smoothly. Give this guy an Oscar please.
When Oreshi talks about his mother, a ball falls from the sky and he hugs the ball close to him as he mentions it’s what he has left of her.
You can actually visually see the difference between Oreshi and Bokushi in face expression.
As Seirin admits defeat, they’re all collapsed on the ground, even Riko, until Ogiwara comes out and cheers for them.
Aomine shouts out from the side of the stage. In the finale he was even crying.
Kaijou and Shuutoku go in the audience and cheer for Seirin from there.
For the May 11th show I had Kaijou right behind me. Literally -screams
Aomine was crying real tears when he says “So it was you all along, Tetsu...”
For the finale was sobbing more
For the final shot, the stage goes all dark as Kuroko says “I’m a shadow.” Then Kagami comes out from behind and makes the final dunk.
Lantana then begins to play as Kagami declares Seirin the winners of Winter Cup.
In the final performance, Akashi cried as he admits his loss and even when he shook hands with Kuroko.
After Kuroko shakes hands with Akashi, and says that they can play basketball at anytime, Seirin and Rakuzan make a quick bow and run off stage.
Final Scenes
The remaining GOM come out in their uniforms, each with a basketball, and happily dribbling around the stage.
Kise sees Haizaki walking out with his shoes, about to throw them away, but Haizaki hesitates and instead hugs them close to him. He sees Kise was watching him and Kise smiles knowing Haizaki didnt’ really hate basketball after all.
The different teams come out taking a stand in front of the stage and then having a fun match against each other.
Kaijou vs Shuutoku
Seirin vs Rakuzan
The players even go up against other players that we didn’t see during the matches. Everything was so emotional and happy.
The last scene ends with Kuroko and Kagami fistbumping each other and Kagami poses as he’s about to dunk and Kuroko kneels below him fistbumping towards us as all the other players are reaching out towards Kagami.
Curtain Calls
May 5th Aichi Finale - Akashi and Reo
Reo mentions how in high school he was the only one in his group who didn’t read KnB. And now he’s IN KnB.
May 11-Kiyoshi and Koganei
They got Hyuuga to go to the center and do a big “KUROSUTE FIGHT O” cheer with the cast and audience.
May 19th-Kuroko and Kagami
This one was really emotional as it was the final performance ever. Yuya starts crying over his talk over Kagami, and he even deeply bows to Onoken to thank him.
Onoken didn’t cry but he was on the verge of doing so, his voice was shaking.
I lost count of how many curtain calls there were for the finale, but there was a lot.
Highlights
Every show Rakuzan would high-five Akashi as they left the stage
For the finale Mayuzumi even hugged Akashi, and then for another curtain call afterwards all of Rakuzan group-hugged Akashi
Kuroko and Kagami asked if the director was around, apparently he wasn’t so they asked someone to say “Thank you” in his place instead. The cast chose Akashi to say it.
Momoi ran up to Aomine and Kise and walked off together.
On one of the last curtain calls, Aomine and Kise decided to have OnoKen thrown up in the air and got everyone to join in.
Every curtain call ends with Kagami and Kuroko fistbumping each other and leaving. For the very last curtain call, it was all of Seirin together.
Kiyoshi lifts Riko up in the air for a few seconds to celebrate.
And thus concludes my last Kurosute report....please consider buying the DVD or Blu-Ray when it comes out, you won’t regret it.
Once again, thank you for four years Kurosute. Thank you cast members for doing a wonderful job portraying our beloved characters. Thank you Fujimaki-sensei for creating such a beloved series.

[UNDER THE CUT]
Love Hoop 35 Preview
As the crowd’s high decreased from Hyuga’s shot, Mayuzumi grabbed the ball as soon as it bounced down from the net. He dribbled it across the court before passing it over to the emperor running in front of him. Hayama and Reo had met their match, and he was sure Nebuya was getting close to losing against Kiyoshi. Not to mention he had been placed in the light no thanks to Kuroko’s overshadowing techniques. Despite everything going downhill, nothing had been said from him, nothing. His eyes landed on Akashi’s back, seeing his usual expression remain the same. ‘Akashi isn’t saying anything. What is he thinking? It’s strange that he is emphasizing one-on-ones with those three. Why doesn’t he attack himself?’
Looking ahead, he stopped in his run upon seeing Akashi come to face Kagami’s wide range defense. The intense pressure coming from the tiger was enough to make anyone run away knowing they could only end in failure. ‘Could it be?’ Mayuzumi blinked, not believing the emperor was restraining himself from going into Kagami’s Zone. Even one step inside from the emperor made him realize he could not take it. As soon as he realized that, Akashi passed the ball to either Reo or Hayama. ‘Is he preventing even Akashi from attacking?’
There was no mistake upon sensing the mix of emotions in Akashi’s aura. The miko could see Akashi was becoming impatient with no plan in mind to deal with Kagami’s Zone, but she could see Akashi was dealing with something much bigger than just the Zone. If anything, it seemed Akashi was struggling with himself to acquire more power – more than he already had. Eyes narrowing on the emperor, her suspicions increased. Was it possible he was trying to enter the Zone? Eyes widened slowly; the idea of it was possible. Knowing the emperor now, it was a possibility he was trying to enter the Zone to go against Kagami. ‘But…can he?’
Nebuya cursed under his breath as he struggled to push Kiyoshi away from his offense. An annoyed scoff blew under his breath as he scanned the rest of the court: all were blocked. ‘Tch! They’re using a stealth full-court man-to-man defense!’
Seeing the difficulty of Seirin’s positions, Hayama gritted his teeth seeing Kagami taking care of him and Akashi at the same time in his defensive Zone. ‘This can’t be good! Considering the range of Kagami’s defense in the Zone, there is hardly any passes Kuroko can’t steal.’ Rushing forward, he called out Reo to pass the ball in his hands. There was no time to waste, and they need to make shots before Seirin’s points caught up to theirs.
Reo turned to the shout of his name; without a second thought, he threw the ball towards his teammate only to see the phantom player intercept his pass.
“Kuroko!” Kiyoshi shouted, signaling for him to make another quick pass to him.
With the ball landing in between Kiyoshi’s hands, Kagome noticed the physical strain Kiyoshi pushed on Nebuya as he dribbled the ball towards their hoop. Despite being injured – and knowing his own pain – she was surprised by how well Kiyoshi could hide it while pushing Nebuya’s buttons: it was working. She winced upon seeing Kiyoshi pivot around Nebuya’s defense using his injured knee; he was applying even more pressure.
As Kiyoshi scored with another dunk, Rakuzan became filled with anger and worries over Seirin’s constant push on their defense. Akashi – the only one remaining calm from the outside – narrowed his eyes at Seirin as they ran back to protect their hoop. “Mibuchi.” He called. “The four of you will go during our next attack.”
Reo’s eyes widened as he heard the order. Taking a step forward, the shooting guard shook his head as he held the ball between his hands. “W-What? Sei-chan, what do you-?” The words at the tip of his tongue dried; his sweat went cold upon facing Akashi’s threatening glare.
Even with the Uncrowned Kings and Mayuzumi being dealt with – to her surprise – she could not shake the uneasiness. She recognized this feeling, a little too well. It was at times when she felt the enemy nearing where she felt this premonition. Eyes landing on the emperor, her fingers curled on her clipboard.
He was doing nothing.
The ball – given to him by Reo – stayed in Akashi’s hands, and that is when her guard lifted. Seeing the rest of the Rakuzan members run ahead while Akashi stayed under the hoop only made her feel suspicious of this game ‘plan’. As Rakuzan met Seirin, everyone blinked at the sight of Akashi making a fast and swift pass of the ball and into Hayama’s hands before making a score.
Izuki quickly turned his head over his shoulder, realizing what had happened. Akashi’s pass had been to quick and exact for anyone to register its direction.
“T-They broke through in a second…” Riko whispered under her breath. “How…?” Seeing the manager slowly rise from the bench, Riko blinked to see Kagome staring at Akash with wide eyes. “Kagome-chan?”
“He…” The grip on her clipboard loosened; she was paralyzed with fear seeing Akashi continuing to stand under the hoop. His aura began to flare; the gold aura was beginning to take full control of his red. Something was not right, and it was telling her she had to warn everyone else.
Hearing Kagami catch Kuroko’s pass and quickly charge towards their own hoop, Kagome shook her head. “K-Kagami-kun! Chotto!”
‘He can’t stop my Meteor Jam like he did in the first half!’ Jumping up towards the basket, Kagami prepared his shot. “Take this, Akashi!”
The ball was swept away from his grip – to his and everyone’s shock – leaving Kagami to lose his balance and crash down on the floor. Eyes widened slowly having seen Akashi’s hand with the ball. He had not moved from his spot. Did he simply get the ball from Kagami’s grip the moment he jumped? Did he…?
“Akashi-kun?” Kuroko whispered, surprised he had been able to stop Kagami’s shot just like that.
Kagome could only stare in fright at the sight of the emperor’s eyes being similar to those of the tiger’s; the clipboard in her hands slowly slipped from her hand before falling to the floor. ‘…impossible.’
“Akashi is…” Unable to hold back his own shock, Aomine’s eyes glided from the emperor down to the miko who had stood up the second Kagami grabbed the ball. She had sensed it; she felt the ominous aura.
Shaking his head, Kise could not believe what he was seeing with his own eyes. When he witnessed Aomine’s and Kagami’s game with this atmosphere, everyone could feel the overwhelming power from the two, but having Akashi with the same power…
“I will demonstrate my superiority to everyone here.”
The spark in his aura made the miko’s body numb. Feeling everyone else’s underwhelming auras of shock made her feel heavier and she was sure Akashi entering the ‘gate’ was going to make things worse, for everyone.
“Kagome-chan…did you sense it before he entered it?” Riko whispered. If she had sensed it, there was no telling what Akashi was capable of now.
Kagome regained her ability to move; eyes followed Akashi’s and Kagami’s fast movements around the court as the emperor charged forward to score. Everyone on Seirin’s side tried to stop him, but he was able to make them fall forward, avoid their blocks, and shoot all without Rakuzan’s help.
“Witness my sublime form and realize your defeat is absolute.”
Mayuzumi tried to regain his breath as he tried to process what had happened before him. ‘Even without us…no, he’s stronger without us. Such a monster shakes our very existence. Does he really not need us?’
Parting her lips, Kagome found it difficult to put words together. “Riko-senpai…a time out, please.”

Games I Wanted to See
Of course Kuroko no Basket is about Kagami and Kuroko setting out to defeat the Generation of Miracles with Seirin, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that I wanted to see certain games between the GoM members as well as games between their schools and some of the other schools we’ve seen on Kuroko no Basket, like Daīchi. I’m okay with what we got in the anime because, like I said, I understand that the anime was about Kuroko’s basketball plus Kagami being stronger than the supposed strongest players in Japan. The story itself was perfect, but in an ideal world, there are a few things that would’ve been cool to see. As usual, there will be spoilers in here.
TL;DR in bold
I’m going to first establish which of the GoM members have played against each other in official matches and also the other schools they’ve played. I’m going to note really quick that if you watch Kuroko’s birthday episode, or if you remember the Teikō days, you will have seen some of these players play against each other in practice matches, one-on-ones, or matches that are just for fun, but I’m mostly going to be talking about why I wanted to see one person’s team play against another person’s. Since I can’t help myself, I’ll probably try and figure out who would win a given game, though it wouldn’t be very concrete considering gameplay isn’t always consistent. There’s also a Seirin match that I want to discuss, too, so I’ll talk about that here as well as a few extras that may not involve the Generation of Miracles. Let’s talk about the games we have seen really quickly. I’m only going to mention the schools I’ll be using in this post, though, so I won’t write down Seirin vs Senshinkan, for example, because I’m not bringing up Senshinkan anywhere else in this post.
Seirin’s Official Matches:

Kirisaki Daīchi vs Shūtoku
Tumblr media
These are all the teams I’ll be talking about in this post, so let’s get started with who I wanted to see play against who.
Seirin vs Fukuda Sōgō
Given the reaction that Hyūga had to Haizaki, I think it’d be interesting to watch these two teams face off. I think Hyūga would act the way Kasamatsu did when Kaijō went up against Fukuda Sōgō, and that would be amazing. Naturally, I think Seirin would win because they’re definitely a better all-round team than Fukuda Sōgō. Kagami is also a better player than Haizaki, especially considering the fact that Kagami has his team to back him up. I don’t have anything else to say on this game, but I think Haizaki clashing with Kuroko and the others would be cool.
Shūtoku vs Yōsen
I think, of all the Shūtoku games I wanted to see, this is the top one. A lot of it is probably because Midorima and Murasakibara get into it a lot, and I find that funny, but it’s also because I want to see them face off in a real match. Midorima can shoot from outside Murasakibara’s defensive area, but I doubt Midorima could stop Murasakibara on offense. Shūtoku has Takao, who is amazing at passing, so that would probably help Shūtoku win... except that Yōsen has Tatsuya. He can also shoot threes that are difficult to block. Basically, the two teams would be really awesome together as they both have a strong offense on the outside. I would think that Yōsen would have the upper hand if they could keep the ball away from Midorima since Ōtsubo can’t compete with Midorima on the inside, but with Takao and Midorima’s shooting range, Yōsen would probably lose. It just depends on how good Yōsen’s defense is on the outside, and I don’t know that we know how strong the rest of the team is when it comes to that, so I would guess that Shūtoku would win a game against Yōsen.
Shūtoku vs Seihō
So, I just said that Yōsen might not be able to keep the ball away from Midorima, but Seihō probably could. That being said, Seirin did find a way around their defense, so it isn’t impossible that Shūtoku could as well, especially with Takao. If Seihō put Tsugawa on Midorima or Takao, though, they’d still probably give them a good fight. In the end, I do think that Shūtoku would win, but it still could be interesting to watch.
Shūtoku vs Tōō
I mean, right? Aomine vs Midorima? Let’s be honest, Aomine is a much stronger player, but he also doesn’t play with his team. Would the Midorima-Takao duo be enough to win? Kagami and Kuroko were, but they’re also a bit stronger together than Takao and Midorima, so who knows? Probably Tōō, or rather, Aomine would win, but I still want to see it. Midorima got really flustered and frustrated when he faced Akashi, so I would love to him against Aomine. Especially since Midorima is pretty orthodox while Aomine is unpredictable. It’d be fun.
Shūtoku vs Kaijō
And I mean a real match with both of their aces. I want to know if Kise and Kaijō could beat Midorima and Shūtoku. They both had issues coming around to playing as a part of a team, but they’re both dependent on their teams now. Aside from those two, seeing Takao play against Kasamatsu would be awesome. I think that driving and passing are the most important things about being a point guard and Kasamatsu and Takao respectively are good at those things. I mean, they have played against each other, but we didn’t really get to see it that much. If Kise used Perfect Copy, probably Kaijō would win, but since that can’t last the whole game, it is possible that Midorima could catch up with threes. Then again, it could end in a draw because I think Kaijō and Seirin are very similar teams, so based on their past with Shūtoku, Kaijō could be evenly matched with them. Who knows?
Kaijō vs Rakuzan
This really is the only Kaijō match I want to see. It’s probably because I’d love to see Kise copy the three Uncrowned Kings from Rakuzan. I feel like it would be an overwhelming defeat for Kaijō because the difference in skill is too great between the two teams. Kise is only one person, and even he couldn’t keep all of the players in check. Kasamatsu wouldn’t be able to keep Akashi at bay as a fellow point guard either. Kobori is a strong center, but he ultimately lost to Kiyoshi who couldn’t handle Rakuzan’s center until the end of Seirin’s game with them, so I don’t think Kaijō could guard the inside all that well either. However, Kaijō’s spirit exceeds Rakuzan’s, so the game between Kaijō and Rakuzan would definitely be entertaining at least.
Tōō vs Rakuzan
I’m putting this in here because when Tōō played Rakuzan during Interhigh, neither Akashi nor Aomine played. Since Rakuzan won, that proves that Rakuzan is a stronger team, but would that change with the addition of Aomine and Akashi? This game is difficult for me to imagine, actually. I can see Aomine making it past Akashi, but could he score against Nebuya? Probably with his formless shots, but then could Hayama get past Aomine? As a whole, I’m pretty sure that Tōō would lose regardless of whether or not Aomine and Akashi were in the game. Without Akashi, it’s possible that Aomine could beat Rakuzan, but Akashi is too good at being a point guard for Aomine to win. I’m sure Tōō would win a few times if they had repeated games against Rakuzan, but I think Rakuzan would win most of the time, especially considering their lineup is similar to Teikō’s.
Tōō vs Fukuda Sōgō/Kirisaki Daīchi
Both of these teams have very violent players. The difference between the two is that Fukuda Sōgō has a violent player while Kirisaki Daīchi is a violent team. However, despite his attitude, Aomine is very honest player so I’d love to see his unconventional methods beat their underhanded ones. Tōō in general is a stronger team than either of those teams, so they could beat them without Aomine, but I’d still want to see Aomine go one-on-one with Haizaki and Hanamiya. As long as Aomine doesn’t knock them out during the game, it should be interesting.
Tumblr media
Fukuda Sōgō vs Kirisaki Daīchi
Speaking of those two teams, why don’t they play each other? As far as skill goes, I think Haizaki could beat Kirisaki Daīchi since he’s unpredictable enough to break out of the spider’s web. Really, what I want to see is Haizaki throw a punch at Hanamiya, who would then throw one back, and then neither of them would be allowed to play basketball again in the near future. Some kind of justice would be nice, that’s all I’m saying.
Yōsen vs Rakuzan
Again, I need to see this match with the addition of Akashi and Murasakibara. Rakuzan did beat Yōsen so they are the strongest team overall, but we need to talk about the difference it would make if Murasakibara and Akashi were added. We already know that Murasakibara isn’t a match for Akashi one-on-one, but he could really support his team on the inside against Nebuya. Would that make a difference at the end of the day? No because the rest of Yōsen would fall short. However, it’d still be a fierce battle worth watching.
Yōsen vs Seihō
Just like with Shūtoku, I just want to see how Seihō would do on defense. Okamura has called Yōsen a “super defensive team,” so it’d be cool to see them go up against a team that specializes in defense. I don’t think they’d ultimately be able to beat Murasakibara, but seeing how the defense techniques differ between the two teams would be interesting in an actual match.
Yōsen vs Fukuda Sōgō/Kirisaki Daīchi
This is pretty much for the same reasons that I said for Tōō. Yōsen would obviously be able to beat both teams, but Murasakibara is very controversial, so if Haizaki or Hanamiya tried anything, he’d fly off and that’d be cool to see.
Tumblr media
I think that pretty much covers every game I wish we could’ve seen or that would’ve been interesting to see. I didn’t mention certain showdowns because I already know how they would go, and thus, they didn’t interest me. For example, in a Yōsen vs Tōō match, I can see exactly how Aomine would win against Murasakibara. Maybe that’s because I saw them play against each other in Kuroko’s birthday episode, but I don’t think a match between them would be as interesting as some of the others I’ve listed.
Also, I feel like I should say sorry in case any of you like Haizaki or Hanamiya because I bashed them a couple of times in this post, but I just don’t like them as players. The characters are good antagonists, but their play pisses me off.
Thanks for reading, as always! I’m not sure what I’ll be posting next, but I know I’m not done talking about this show, so it should be coming soon. Let me know if there are any games or face offs you wanted to see or if you think the outcomes of the ones I talked about would be different than what I said. See you soon!

Hi. Request pls. Reo's turn to pick where the team eats and he picks some new niche place. He orders a max strength detox tea and insists Nebuya has the same (as he puts away so much junk), only when they get it Reo has a gurgly tummy and gets horribly burpy while it has little effect on Nebuya. The team and strangers think it's funny and Reo thinks he's been pranked, but the description read properly states it settles the stomach and aids in ridding of gas (one of them has no issues with this).
“I think you’re a buffoon.”
“I think you talk like a grandmother.”
“I think you’re incapable of understanding anything other than muscle mass.”
“I think you’re stupider than you say I am.”
“I think you’ve never picked up a dictionary, because your vocabulary is abysmal.”
Hayama, who had been watching this back and forth with his chin balanced on his hands, finally saw the chance to pipe up. “Wouldn’t it be grammar?”
Reo spared him a sideways glance – it was acknowledgement at least, which was more than Hayama usually expected when he and Nebuya got into one of their arguments. “That too,” Reo agreed, waving a hand. “Then again, what can you expect from a muscle-headed brute like him?”
Was that directed at him or Nebuya? Hayama had no clue, but he seized the opportunity anyway. It was important that he diffuse this before their orders got here, otherwise he was sure someone would wind up covered in food. Food fights were fun, but if they got back to the rest of the team like that, Akashi would disembowel them all.
(Nebuya and Reo’s fights were legendary among the team for their cattiness alone. For two people who supposedly couldn’t stand each other, they sure spent enough time around each other. There were moments when they got along well. Then there were moments where they seemed to be intent on killing each other. This was one of those times.)
“Guys, guys, why are we fighting? I mean, sure, this place is totally lame –”
Reo’s hand flew to his chest in shock. “Kou-chan!”
“But it was Reo-nee’s choice!” Hayama stuck a finger in Nebuya’s face. “If you wanted to choose, you should have won the coin toss.”
“It was rigged,” Nebuya grumbled, glowering at the table.
In response, Reo just rolled his eyes, arms crossing over his chest. He lounged back in his chair, the picture of casual gracefulness. “Do shut up and stop complaining. I think our drinks are here.”
Indeed, there was a waiter approaching their table, with a tray of drinks balanced in his hands. Hayama lit up at the sight of his coke; he ignored the two disturbingly pink, bubbly drinks next to it. Really, he hadn’t had much faith in Reo’s taste, but he’d trusted Nebuya to know better.
“Thank you! If we need anything else, I’ll call you, alright?” Reo flashed the waiter a bright smile which sent a flush blooming across the poor boy’s cheeks. Hayama rolled his eyes at his friend’s obvious flirting. He knew that he could be a show-off around hot people himself, but Reo was just so blatant about it. (And yet somehow he managed to date more people than Hayama and Nebuya combined. It just didn’t make sense.)
They all accepted their drinks gratefully, and Hayama clung to his soda while the other two took in their pink monstrosities. Nebuya looked like he didn’t quite know what to do with the drink, while Reo raised the glass to his lips as soon as he got it.
“That stuff looks gross,” Hayama muttered, wrinkling his nose. “Are you two really drinking that?”
“Eh, I’ve had worse.” As if to prove it, Nebuya raised the glass to his lips and took a deep sip. The way his face immediately soured as if he’d just drank lemon juice had Hayama snorting into his glass. A spray of liquid accidentally splashed the table, sending Reo hissing and pulling his drink back.
“Beauty is pain, dear. This is supposed to not only eliminate bloating but to rejuvenate your entire digestive system. Why else do you think I would make him have it too?”
Reo shot a pointed glance at Nebuya; in reply, the other boy stuck his tongue out at him. Hayama sighed into his palm, wondering when he’d become the mature one. “Because you secretly want to torture us all?”
“Haha, very funny.”
“I dunno, it’s not crazy bad,” Nebuya shrugged. “It tastes like limes, which is gross, but it’s not as bad as that one time Akashi tried to cook for us.”
Hayama buried his face in his palms, groaning. That was a day he was still haunted by; every few weeks he would wake up screaming, with the taste of charred tofu in his mouth.
“You’re all pathetic,” Reo sniffed, sitting stiffly in his chair. “Sei-chan did his best.”
Hayama tilted his head, taking in his friend’s awkward posture and the strange look on his face. “Hey, Reo-nee, you okay? You look sort of weird…”
“I’m fine, Kou-chan… oh.” His shoulders suddenly jumped with a suppressed belch.
Hayama’s eyebrows shot up, while next to him Nebuya went still. Reo burping? That just about never happened, especially in public. Judging by the shocked expression on the other boy’s face, Reo hadn’t expected it either. Quickly recovering himself, he looked away from his friend and took another sip of his drink.
“Are you sure?”
“Yes,” Reo replied, frowning deeply. One hand came up to grip his stomach, but he hastily pulled away again when it let out a loud gurgle. “I’m – huuUURP!”
Blinking in awe, Reo’s two teammates leaned forward as the other boy pressed boy hands over his mouth, face turning bright red. “Oh – oh my. What – uuUurp!” His eyes widened even more, mortification setting in. “I don’t know where that came from!”
“Wow, Reo!” Nebuya whistled. “You feeling okay?”
“No! My stomach is bubbling terribly all of a sudden. I think – uuUUlp - something’s wrong. Is this a prank?”
“I don’t think so…”
“Oh my gosh…” Hayama breathed as Reo curled in on himself, both arms wrapping around his stomach. He was trying desperately to stifle his belches, but was clearly having no luck. The sound of another low burble split the air. His entire body jolted with force as another rumbling burp tore out of him.
At once, all three boys turned towards the drinks on the table. Nebuya had only drank half of his, while Reo’s glass was nearly drained. It didn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out what had happened.
Reo let out a moan, followed by another deep “bruuUUrp! “My stomach feels so strange…”
“Huh,” considered Nebuya, peering down at his own abdomen. “I feel fine. Not even burpy. Guess it only works for some people.”
Reo’s eyes flared dangerously. Suddenly ignorant of the other restaurant patrons staring at them (their attentions attracted by Reo’s burping fit) he sprung to his feet. “You ignorant, stupid, slobbish bast–”
“Aaand it’s definitely time to go!” Hayama exclaimed, jumping up as well. He knew when disaster needed to be averted, and he didn’t feel like seeing a fellow teammate die today -- via embarrassment or a furious Mibuchi Reo. “Come on, come on, before Reo-nee gets us kicked out!”
Even as Nebuya slapped some money down on the table and stood, however, Reo remained still. Both hands pressed over his mouth as he leaned into his chair, trying to settle his stomach. When the rest of the team looked at him, he flushed a deep scarlet.
“My stomach feels so terrible that I’m not sure I can walk…” he admitted quietly. For the first time, Hayama actually felt a flash of sympathy for him.
“I could lift you if you want,” Nebuya offered, and Reo’s eyes shot up again in annoyance. Hayama was glad to see that flash of sympathy fly away.
“Not in my – bruUrp – lifetime,” Reo hissed, glaring at Nebuya even harder following the unexpected belch. “I’ll be fine.”
Somehow, Hayama wasn’t so sure. The force of Reo’s glare alone could melt a lesser man where he stood, and even Nebuya faltered slightly. If Reo really didn’t want to continue his burping fit in the middle of the restaurant, he would have to walk out somehow.
This was why Hayama was happy sticking to soda.

Omg this is such a cute request!! No worries anon, I understand you perfectly!
This will be separated into two parts, so part one will feature Rakuzan, Shutoku, and Kaijo.
Puppy Love! Part 1: Rakuzan, Shutoku, and Kaijo
Rakuzan
Mibuchi shivers, wrapping his arms around his body. “…I feel like someone’s watching us.” he states, before eyeing Mayuzumi suspiciously.
“I’m not. You’re not my type.” Mayuzumi’s deadpan answer earns a snort from Nebuya.
“You afraid of ghosts or something, Reo?” Nebuya teases, laughing when the black haired basketball player humphs angrily, hands on his hips.
“I’m not scared of ghosts!”
“Reo-nee, ghosts are scary though!” Hayama shivers. “What if it’s a vengeful ghost that died in this gym or something years ago?!”
“They say if it knows your name, it’ll kill you.”
“Chi-chan??? Where’d you hear that?!” Mibuchi yelps, hands pressed to his chest. “No one say my name out loud!!”
“Mibuchi Reo.” Mayuzumi snaps, ignoring Mibuchi’s pained cry. “I read it in one of my light novels.”
“Arf.”
“WAHHH!!!” Mibuchi screams, and Hayama manages to leap out of the way at the last minute before Mibuchi completely crashes into the shorter male.
“Reo-nee, what on earth…” Hayama laughs, before noticing the new arrival at the entrance of the gym. “Is that…a dog?”
“Arf.” The dog replies with a bark. It was hard to explain, but the dog appeared to be calmly appraising the scene, sitting back on its haunches.
“Woah, look at its eyes!” Nebuya raced forward, peering down at the dog. “It’s got a red eye and a yellow one!”
The others all observed the dog, finally noticing the mismatched, heterochromatic orbs.
“…It reminds me of Akashi.” Mayuzumi finally murmurs.
“Woah, he really does!!” Hayama agreed. There was something rather majestic in the way that the white german shepard carried itself.
“Comparing me to a dog now, are you?”
“Eek…” The members all froze as they heard their captain approaching them from behind. “But it’s cute, Sei-chan!”
“I recall leaving you all to your training.” Akashi’s eyes flash briefly as he meets Mibuchi’s gaze. “I expected Eikichi, Reo, and Hayama to be up to these ridiculous things…but you as well, Chihiro?”
“…”
“Hm. Get back to training, unless you’d like to stay for an extra set.”
The threat is powerful enough for the members to quickly return to their practice, while Akashi remains, looking over his team.
“You there.” Akashi’s eyes flicker downwards, meeting the heterochromatic eyes of the dog sitting in front of him. “I expect you to behave as well, if you wish to stay.”
“…Arf.”
Shutoku
“Shin-chan, over here!!”
“Woah, good hit Shin-chan!”
Midorima could feel his frustration growing as he shot the basketball in his hand, tsking at it glanced off the side of the rim before making it through the basket. “Must you guys continue calling it by that ridiculous name?”
“He likes it though!” Takao replied, holding up the dark haired puppy in his hands. “His eyes are sooooo cute!!”
It was by chance that the Shutoku members had discovered the dark haired puppy lingering outside the gym. It was even more interesting when they watched the puppy blink, eyes as green as Midorima’s hair. And thus…
“We’ll call you Shin-chan!!!” Takao had declared, and the other Shutoku members only found the situation amusing. Well, everyone but the puppy’s name sake, of course.
“Everyone seems a bit more excited.” Otsubo comments, watching his team clamoring for the puppy’s attention. “It’s a morale booster. So, please put up with it.”
“Huh? Where ya going Shin-chan?” Takao questioned as the puppy wiggled out of his hold, jumping onto the ground.
“Arrrrf.”
“What.” Midorima glared, staring down the puppy that had walked up to him, sitting at his feet.
“Arrf. Arrf.” The puppy seemed to chastise him, causing Midorima to bristle with annoyance. “I refuse to acknowledge you.” Midorima harrumph, pushing up his glasses with his left hand.
“Arrrf!”
“Woah, look at that thing jump!” Miyaji’s voice was incredulous as the puppy managed to jump up, smacking his paw against Midorima’s left hand.
Midorima stared down at the puppy who was meeting his gaze with it’s large, emerald-green eyes.
Turning back to the basket, Midorima threw the ball, this time making a perfect swish as it fell through the net.
“Arf.” The puppy seemed to be proud of itself, and Midorima swore it was smirking
“It wasn’t because of you.”
“Aww, look at the two Shin-chans getting along!!”
Kaijo
“You’re so cute!!” Kise squealed, holding the golden-fur puppy in his arms.
“Arf arf!!” The puppy wagged its tail excitedly, golden orbs sparkling in delight as he licked Kise’s face.
Kise felt his heart swell at the ball of fluff that had appeared in their gym, barking and tail wagging as it enthusiastically ran around the gym with the team as they warmed up for practice.
Letting the puppy down, Kise watched as he started bumping the basketballs with its paws, swatting and pushing the ball along the floor.
“What an adorable puppy. Girls like puppies, don’t they?” Moriyama’s eyes glimmered in interested as he leaned down towards the excitable puppy. “You and I shall go and meet some girls!!”
“Don’t be teaching the puppy weird things, baka!” Kobori snarled, pushing the back of Moriyama’s head.
“Arf arf!”
“But it wants to go, don’t you?” Moriyama cooed as the puppy continued barking, it’s little body trembling in excitement.
“God, this thing’s even more hyper than you, Hayakawa!”
“I won’t lose!!”
“Don’t pick a fight with a puppy, damnit!” Kobori sighed, watching Hayakawa staring down at the puppy with angry eyes.
Completely ignorant of the death glare he was receiving, the puppy only continued bouncing around, tilting its head cutely as it looked up at the members surrounding it.
“So cute so cute so cute!!” Kise continued squealing, before looking for his phone. “I need pictures!!”
“What is the big deal here?!” Kise yelped as Kasamatsu kicked him in the back of his legs. “Get back to practice!”
“Puppy-chan, don’t go to the scary mean person!” Moriyama cried out as the puppy suddenly took off in Kasamatsu’s directly, immediately pawing at the captain’s shorts.
“Why is there a dog here…” Kasamatsu grumbled, picking up the puppy by its scruff as he held it in front of his face. Suddenly, the puppy stuck out its tongue, licking the captain’s nose again and again.
“Oh no!” Kise yelled, scared that Kasamatsu was going to hurt the puppy. Instead…
“Tickles…” Kasamatsu pulled away from the puppy, setting him on the floor gently. “Hm. Guess you’re not too bad.”
“Yip!” Running circles around Kasamatsu’s feet, the puppy barked happily.
“..No fair, why can’t you treat me like that?!?” Kise whined, narrowly dodging another one of Kasamatsu’s famous kicks.
“Because you’re an annoying dumbass!”

The buzzer rang, indicating that the game had ended. Everyone was in shock.
The final score...106-105 in Seirin's favor.
For once, the "absolute" Rakuzan High School lost the Winter Cup.
The last shot, that was made by Seirin's ace, Kagami Taiga, not only left the entire stadium in shock, but you as well.
You couldn't help but watch as your school's team stared at the scoreboard with utter sadness on their faces. Hayama was on the floor, using his hands to prop himself up, while Mayuzumi was clearly angered. Nebuya, for once, had a look of utter shock on his face and while you could tell that he was struggling not to cry or show any emotion, Akashi approached Seirin with his hand out, congratulating them.
The one player whose attention you were honed in on, was the shooting guard and vice captain, Mibuchi Reo. His facial expression broke your heart.
He was trying to hold back his tears, no, he was struggling to hold them back. You really wanted to know how he was feeling. Was he feeling scared? Alone? All these thoughts swarmed through your head.
After the top three teams were presented their medals and left the gym, you instantly bolted from the stands and headed towards the Rakuzan locker room. When you arrived, you saw the team leaving and your eyes immedietly fell on a head of long black hair.
"Mibuchi," you said, grabbing his attention.
The male turned around and slightly smiled as he saw your face. "(F/N). You came to the game?"

"Sei-chan, I'll catch up with you later," he replied, getting a nod from the red-head.
The moment the team left, you noticed a change in the male's personality. "(F/N)-chan, come with me," he said, as he grabbed your wrist and dragged you into the locker room.

Thanks for this ask, anon!! Three clues as to my favorite KNB character…red hair, is absolute, and goes *snip snip*. xD Yes, it is the almighty Akashi Seijuro!
For this request, I’ll start off with details about how the reader develops those investigative skills, and then go into separate reactions from the characters and teams you’ve requested~
Headcanons for Data Specialist Rakuzan Manager!Reader
You may not have had the ability like Riko to see everyone’s physical ability through a single glance, but you weren’t hesitant when it came to doing your research
You were always seen with your trusty clipboard where you made sure to record all the happenings during practice and during games-how many shots each member made, how many points, how many assists, and so on
Over time, you were able to use this data to estimate a player’s overall ability which helped you in coming up with appropriate individual training regimens
Data was everything, and on days off you were often away scouting other high school teams and watching their matches
You made it your priority to know all the players playing in Rakuzan’s next game, their habits, their patterns of movements, what plays their team commonly made, ec.
Akashi was impressed by all the work you were putting into your research, so it was an unwritten rule that the night before any of their games you would have a presentation for the members on what you’d found
However, your true strength was found in the way that you could easily adapt to situations
You had seen so many examples of different plays and different players so it was easy for you to visualize what teams may try to do on the drop of a hat, making it easy for you to tell the Rakuzan members how to switch up their play style even if it’s all of a sudden in the middle of a game
You became so proficient at this skill that within the basketball community, you were being called the Oracle of Rakuzan
Rakuzan
You had gained a lot of respect from all the members of the team due to the sheer amount of work that you put in to try and have all the information collected and prepared for their games
You had a tendency to push yourself too far though, and one time during your presentation you simply fainted on the spot
Which sent all the members into a tizzy, Hayama cradled you in his arms and started crying about how his big sis was dying, Akashi immediately called for an ambulance, Mibuchi thought he was gonna faint as well, Mayuzumi actually ran out of the room to get you water, and Nebuya growled whenever anyone tried to get close to you after you collapsed
Cue Mibuchi acting like more of a mother hen around you and the other members being more protective of you overall
Whenever you were going on your scouting missions, one of them had to come with you although you eventually begged them not to cause you stood out way too much as a result
Akashi, being the amazing captain he was (I may be biased at this huehuehue) always made sure that you knew just how vital you were to the victories that they won
“_____, you may not be playing out on the court, but none of our victories would have been possible without you.”
GOM
I think they would be initially surprised that Rakuzan was able to find someone of your caliber that could match up to even Momoi’s abilities
They were even more surprised seeing how Akashi himself would turn to you for your opinion before making the final call on plays
And how he’d actually LISTEN to your ideas
They’d probably try and sneak into Rakuzan’s practices simply out of curiosity to meet you
Probably results in good-natured competitive spirit flaring up
Would push the GOM and their own teams to develop strategies to not only combat Rakuzan’s abilities, but also that of you, their Oracle
I can see the GOM adopting you into their group and you hanging out with them as you offer them ideas to help them improve their basketball as well
If this was before the Jabberwock game, I can see you and Momoi working together to do your research on the Jabberwock team
Essentially you become one of the few people outside of their “group” that they have respect for
Kuroko Tetsuya
I think Kuroko would be impressed by your abilities and especially at your flexibility to quickly adapt to situations on the fly
To some extent, an arms war begins between you and Kuroko: Kuroko constantly is evolving his abilities and plays to win against Rakuzan, while you are trying to come up with ways to combat his misdirection
Probably dubbed as “The Phantom vs. The Oracle: Who Will Win???”
It’s a friendly competition between the two of you and the two of you have a running tally of who was able to beat the other
Kuroko overall really appreciates your support and what you do for the Rakuzan team, because it shows that they’re growing and wanting to work as a team rather than being individuals and relying on just themselves
Momoi Satsuki
Momoi isn’t going down with a fight! She underestimated you during a match between Too and Rakuzan, where you were easily able to find a way to combat Imayoshi’s mind-reading abilities
She wants a cool name just like how you’re the Oracle of Rakuzan!
I think it’s obvious from the series how Momoi doesn’t pull any punches when it comes to helping her team succeed (i.e. during the first match of Seirin vs. Too), and she begins to see you as a rival
The two of you were friendly competitors at first, until the both of you realized that you could really be using your observational skills in other ways
For example, finding out what Kuroko’s likes are, where he goes for fun, how to win over Nigou, etc.
So one day you send her a file of your Kuroko observation notes and Momoi immediately swoons
The two of you end up being super close friends
And if you two end up making some money on the side based by “sharing” information you’ve collected on different team members, that’s a bonus too
