Anyone who knows Felton understands that it’s never a good idea to tell the small duck what to do, lest they wish for a shitstorm of infuriating STUBBORNNESS to be unleashed upon them. A constant pattern witnessed time and time again by those who were foolish enough to try. The ‘request’ for marriage just adds further fuel to the fire NegaLaunchpad’s decided to burn himself with. Prepare yourself, LP; THIS is your future. Feathers bristling at the mention of it being ‘done’, eyes narrow as arms cross, a hard-headed gleam arising within hazel hues. “DON’T tell me what to fucking do.”   

The obligatory response, before- “You know, as romantic a sentiment as that was—” Felton sarcastically continues, eyes narrowing further and an unimpressed grimace tugging at the corner of his beak, “—seriously, your eloquence and sense of timing truly knows no bounds...” The snark is lathered on so strongly one could practically feel it dripping off into the air. “I’m still going to have to abstain... Because, heh—” 

Eyes closed, a false air of jovial-casualness is donned, a hand resting against his chest as he says with a light chuckle, “—as I mentioned earlier, perhaps you’ll recall—”

“... What. The. FUCK?”

Apparently, LP isn’t the only one with a flair for words. Eyes opening and arms extending to the sides at the exclamation, feathers ruffle as he impatiently states, “Do you even realize how utterly idiotic you’re being right now? Do you comprehend the shitstorm you are willingly and purposely inviting with this request?! A wedding? A marriage? A blatant show of our FEELINGS toward each other for the entire god damn world to witness? To exploit? At least when people assume we’re only fucking it mitigates the chances of us getting fucked!” Launchpad didn’t get the picture when Felton put it ‘softly’, so now he’s just going to have to flat-out say it. Otherwise, the pig-headed pilot will NEVER drop the subject.

Great.

“You already have me. You literally JUST had me.” Felton exasperatingly says, hands pressing against his chest. He knows that context isn’t Launchpad is referring to, and honestly... neither is Felton. True, the larger male literally just had his ass. But he ALSO has a firm grip around his heart, his emotions... his care. Launchpad HAS HIM. Something Felton hopes is an understood thing between them, so he doesn’t have to actually voice it. “You don’t need some stupid ceremony or legally-binding contract to prove that. The fact that I’m actually sitting here and having this dumbass conversation ought to be proof enough.”

Inktober day 1 biches!!

Dedicating this entire month to my favorite trashy couple 🖤 I don’t have high hopes I’ll be able to do much for inktober this year, but I’m going to try and do at least one a week and considering the prompt for day 1 was “ring” it was just the perfect excuse to finally get this thing out of my head. Seriously, this has been rattling around in my brain for way too long and now y’all finally gotta look at it. You’re welcome. 

I had wanted to do more with this, but let’s be real, it’s a small miracle I even got it inked on time.

And yes, they absolutely got married on Halloween night. No other day is acceptable.
