Nemu in the beginning is worse then Grimmjow when it comes to anything people related comfort being a low for her but she gets better

She is a very fast and good learner though she can come off as harsh when it starts it is a new learning experience for you both

it might take a few times but it wont take long for Nemu to be able to see the signs of when you need comfort she also takes the time to make plans for it

Nemu is like a cat you can hold her and talk with her when you need comfort and she might not always do something but it always seems to help at least a little

Though she can get very busy Nemu always makes some time for in the day even if its something small like having lunch with you or just at the end of the day to rest

As a very observant person when it comes to you nothing really gets past her and more often then not when she sees you pouting or upset in anyway she is likely to just ask outright

On the rank of comfort Nemu gets a nice 6.5/10 she has some rough spots but she does her best and gets better then longer she learn what it means to care for someone

Renji

The second best here when it comes to comfort and he just get's better with time he is just such a good boy

The only real low point Renji has is that he can be just a bit dense unless you keep your emotions on your sleeve or outright tell him he doesn't realize that you're feeling down

He might see you pout and ask about it but something like a game being mean to you might just make him tease you more still he learns fast when is okay for teasing

Super good with comfort once he sees you need or want it he is the best person to get physical comfort from anything from cuddles to kisses or just being a should to lean on

Verbal comfort is also good from him, he can give good advice or make fun jokes to cheer you up and Renji is just a positive guy who wants you happy

-So she would start thinking about finally marrying you. Of course Nemu already dreamed about turning you from her girlfriend to her wife, yet now she will approach this matter more seriously.

-Probably will consult with Ichijiku, as these two are closer in work. Poor Nemu just wanted to ask if there were any altars in Chuoku and when it would be better to have a wedding, so it wouldn't disturb her working schedule just to receive a whole list of things with a bunch of tips and recommendations on the top from the Deputy Prime Minister.

-Ichijiku definitely sees her as her younger sister or something, I swear. So she wants you two to have the greatest party in the whole world, even if you two originally planned just to have some quiet wedding.

Dottore has a very love hate relationship will your pain tolerance 

On one hand the fact that you can handle so much is wonderful because it means he has less to worry about when testing thing

On the other hand Dottore loves getting reactions and he doesn't get as many given how well you handle things 

Still it's nice you don't whine if you end up hurt and your lack of fear means he can keep you in the lab with him more often

With the higher tolerance if there's ever a time where you freak out or get hurt badly Dottore will get worried though you can only tell thanks to his rushed actions

All in all you being able to handle so much makes things much easier for him

Baizhu

Baizhu doesn't really have many opinions on something like this but it's good you can handle his work so easily 

His work is not something he'll really show you unless you wish to help him gather things for medicine but is it nice you don't freak out if he needs to do a check on you

Qiqi likes when you come with her on errands so sometimes Baizhu gets worried about you coming back hurt, its thanks to your high pain tolerance that he can feel more at ease 

There's a sense of safety that comes with knowing you wont be taken down easily, if you can handle a bit of pain it means you can make it back to him

Sometimes when Baizhu is having a bad day he likes to bring with you with him to make medicine and such, having you around makes him happy 

Really not much changes for Baizhu weather you can or can't deal with his work for him that was never important he is however thankful for your pain tolerance

It might not be much but for man who doesn't want to lose anyone that little fact gives him more hope for keeping you around

Szayelaporro

Something like that would make Szayelaporro beyond happy the more you can handle the better

As someone who will no matter what wish to experiment on you it's nice that you won't just pass out on him 

He loves getting a reaction out of you but the more important thing is being able to get you close to perfection 

You might not be afraid at first but he can and will push your limits constantly

It's not that he wants you to freak out or be hurt but he can't help but find your reaction so amusing

Another one who's rather pleased by your high pain tolerance though in this case he views it as more helpful than fascinating 

Mayuri will want to use you as a guinea pig sometimes, it's unavoidable however he likes having you help him out in the lab 

It's never the most pleasant time but since you aren't scared of all his bits and bobbles it's nice to just keep you around if he isn't experimenting on people, you will have to help with the hollows though 

Nemu handles any of your medical needs if they don't send Unohana and though Nemu warms up to you she is still very cold when working so it's good that won't frighten you 

In a very strange way Mayuri will show his affection for you through keeping you around for experiments 

His work is something he's very passionate about and nothing really stops him from doing this work due to that he can secluded himself away but never does he make you leave his side 

In fact it's the opposite he wants you with him whether you help with whatever strange plan he has or you just stay with him watching him work maybe talking

Albedo

Albedo is not someone who thinks too much about any of that, most of his work is non medical and pain isn't something he needs to worry about often 

He always keeps an eye on you when you're in one of the labs especially in dragonspine but he's not too panicked about you getting hurt or anything

This truly changes nothing in his eyes, pain or fear is normal and everyone has different ranges for that so it was never even something he questioned

However this can cause a few problems unless you're good at measuring when you need to step back because something hurts or anything like that he just won't know 

You'll need to be able to tell him this stuff since it's something Albedo can overlook without meaning to

Still very loving and always wanting to learn about you so this is just another thing for him to keep in mind

Tighnari

How very helpful you are for Tighnari's sake! Really he finds this super helpful when it comes to what he deal with

As someone who is always working being able to have you around when making medication or studying is just so very pleasant  

He loves getting to spend time with you and adores whenever you want to help lighten his burdens so sharing his work makes him happy 

Mushroom hunting! He likes testing what can be made with the many mushrooms around since people tend to just eat them without paying attention and thus having a helper is nice 

Tighnari is a good doctor who for the most does his best to learn about his patients and you are one them so he gets a very good idea about your pain tolerance and any worries or fears very quickly 

The most important thing for him is that he doesn't need to be worried about scaring you if his talents are needed, you can stay with him while he works and that really is all he wants

So I really struggled with this lol don't know if you could tell. I worried maybe it was all too repetitive when I was writing it but overall I'm not unhappy with it. Despite all the changes Captain Kurotsuchi had made to the lab as of recently you could still hear the war raging beyond the now illuminated walls.

You didn't cast a shadow nor did the equipment or even the door, it all being as the Captain intended. Work in the lab seemed to rage on as usual despite the Quincy invasion, being able to take a break every now and again as long as you tapped in another reaper in your place, Captain Kurotsuchi's orders. As long as someone was at your work station he was content for now as he looked over his papers and findings from the current predicament, all the while trying to ignore the fabled Kisuke Urahara who had ever so suddenly barged into the department.

You swore you could hear faint murmurs of displeasure seeping past the golden teeth of your superior, leading you to look over once or twice. His suit glowed in every color of the spectrum, almost like a peacock as he strutted about his lab with the upmost confidence.

A confidence you only wished you could garner even after your many years of lab work and dedication.

The war had set thoughts running through your mind and as you sat in the small designated break corner you began to ponder.

You may not get another chance after all.

Crossing your arms you stare intensely at the Captain, drifting deeper into the sea of thought. Soon you were enveloped by the crashing waves of memories passing by, hitting you hard like a rock and as quickly as a rolling storm.

Ten years. You had been working in this lab for ten whole years. How time flies. You remember when Captain Mayuri Kurotsuchi was once the most feared and hated person around, always telling you your faults and imperfections. You recalled how he kept you back one night to complete work he didn't want to do himself. There for six hours and came back in the morning on very little sleep to which he also ridiculed your sloppy work.

Recently though was when you noticed a change. After arriving back from his fight against the Espada the Captain seemed different, especially to you. He seemed to value your work and time more, even praise you from time to time. He still kept you at nights but not for the same reasons as before.

How he had changed

You felt your heart sink in your chest wondering if this was just a phase, a calm before he became the old him. You sigh and hold tight to the chain around your neck. It was a gift he gave you for "hard work" but you knew what it really meant even without him saying it. The gem in the middle of the chain was incased in a rare hollow bone, from a specimen the Captain held dear. It was something he seemed very reluctant to part with but did so with a huff, practically shoving it into your hands before getting back to work.

You smile to yourself, your cheeks hot. The relationship between you and he had grown so much over these last years. You didn't want to die here and you could tell by the stares he gave you from across the room and sly glances from looking down at his papers that he didn't want you to either. One thing about Mayuri Kurotsuchi is he valued life, none more so then his own but there came a time when he cared about a select few more.

You sit there basking in the humming lights of the room for what seems like hours, freeing yourself from the deep pores of your mind by a blinding colored light and the sound of an old metal kettle being poured.

There he stood and all you could do was stare at his immaculate form, a chuckle escaping past those deep black painted lips. You look away from him, all those thoughts still fresh in your mind.

"Your thoughts are occupied yes?"

You nod in response, unable to find those words right now. Mayuri takes a sip of his black coffee and turns his back to you, using the sleeve of his suit to conceal your hand which he reached out to hold, seeing your form trembling before him. He wasn't sure if it was fear in him or the fight which shook you to the core but he couldn't let others see him like this, his reputation far preceding him. He speaks in a rough but somewhat comforting tone that sets your heart racing.

"Trust in me like you have before. My brilliance knows no bounds and I personally will fix this"

He let's you go to get back to his work and for a moment you felt like every shadow, not just in the lab but in the entire world was banished. He had really become your light in more ways then one. Not just in the physical but also in your heart.

Hiii can you do headcanons for Mayuri falling in love with a childhood friend

ahhh yesss! I think Mayuri is such a complex and interesting character which is why I love writing about him :)

You both were friends at a young age as you lived outside the walls of soul society.

Once Mayuri and you became very close, he disappeared one day leaving you.

It comes to Mayuri as a shock when you come into the soul society as one of Ichigo's friends trying to rescue Rukia from her execution decades later.

Of course, he's got a watchful eye on you as you run throughout the maze of the soul society.

He sits in his lab and watches you day by day.

Unknown to you, he's been coming to your aide as you go through obstacles and unfriendly soul reapers.

You end up in the 12th division barracks and you're surrounded by the members of the Research and Development Institute.

Mayuri easily senses your presence and rushes his way to the front.

Once Mayuri steps inside the room and you lock eyes, your heart drops.

You instantly recognize the boy behind all the face paint and makeup caked onto his face.

The members of the 12th squad seem to disappear as they realize that you're not a threat.

Mayuri and you stand perfectly still, hearts ramming as you gaze into each other's eyes.

"I like the new look. Mad scientist?" you speak up, gulping and swallowing your anxiety.

"Yeah. That's what I was going for," Mayuri replies shyly.

Mayuri's mouth gapes open and he nods his head.

"I'm sorry," he mumbles out, lowering his head with shame.

You furrow your eyebrows as you're confused with his words until he reaches out.

You gasp loudly as his fingernail strikes you in the chest and your body rattles.

You glance down at the long fingernail extending into your chest and your eyelids start to become heavy.

Mayuri didn't know what to do, but he knew that you couldn't be here.

Once you wake up, you find yourself in a jail cell with Mayuri standing outside and watching you.

This time, he looks like himself. No makeup or face paint on him.

He spends hour apologizing to you about how much he's changed as a person and you couldn't even recognize him anymore.

Tears are gleaming in your eyes and you shake your head.

"I still recognize the same boy I knew all those years ago," you speak softly and his eyes widen.

Mayuri goes against his morals and decides to let you out and even helps you save Rukia.

After Aizen betrays the soul society, Yamamoto decides to let you stay and help the soul reapers.

As you and Mayuri grow closer and closer as you work together in his lab, you consume Mayuri's days.

Soft touches are shared and laughter lingers in the air.

It becomes very obvious to everyone in the soul society that Mayuri is head over heels in love with you.

Mayuri isn't very good at expressing his feelings so he decides to use his actions.

You're both working a late night in the lab and Mayuri pulls your chair over to his, pressing his lips against yours.

A soft 'I love you' was said between you two as you pull way from the kiss.
