As far as hills I'm willing to die on I personally read self-hating man with NPD Dirk as a more or less textual fact, as well as Jake being accidentally written with quiet BPD as, like, just a thing that Is. This goes for their splinters and any AU versions I have for them as well, though I also tend to write Dirk with (obviously) ASPD traits because he has them and it is glorious. Comorbidity for the win!

Also they are both autistic, Jake probably has some undiagnosed attention disorder as well. I cannot imagine anybody in hs actually being professionally diagnosed, which is funny. I'm not sure if all of them are set in stone for me but some other characters that are giving borderline for better or for worse would be John (for better), Eridan (for worse), Aranea (not very textual at all I just like a blabbermouth girl with BPD), Lynera (see Aranea), Nepeta (cute), Kankri (good lord), and I also think it would be fucking hilarious if Jude started developing signs of it from the apple of borderline autism falling straight down onto his head. If I'm feeling spicy I'll give all of the Harlenglishcrockerberts a flavor of borderline insanity though.

My girlfriend can just retweet her takes if she feels like it on her special mental illnesses but ASPD Sollux is very important to me (and Cronus. And Dammek. And Lanque. And Dave. Tyzias. Equius? And a lot of others that I don't think about often enough.) Less textual and more "I like this :3"

I like a lot of things :3 but yes these are what I like THE MOST! And likewise I don't care for takes that are like, batshit opposite to them, but Homestuck is just like that and I cannot be arsed to argue about something that matters this little. Thank you very much!! I’m glad you can enjoy my content, and I’m double glad you’re chill about disagreements, lol!! I really can’t say the same about some other people. While I don’t mind differences in opinion at all- it’s perfectly natural, as everyone has their own personal ideas and perspectives, and no two sets of eyes are the same- some people are just not very polite about it!! If anything, I really like seeing civil disagreements, especially when elaborated upon- sometimes they get me to change my own perspective!! And if it doesn’t, it’s always fun seeing other people’s reasonings behind their own ideas!!

I went on a long ass ramble abt norrex so u will read it. (if any canon character seems OOC i prommy i have reasoning for wwhy they do what they do but GOD im lazy)

Norrex Mozzai, mutant-gold blood. Lusus WAS a giant fucking snake. Died from drowning. Norrex, a wriggler at the time, ALSO almost died from drowning. Little snakey-wriggler body washed shore in front of a beach cave-hive belonging to GAGORE MAXLOL. A violet blooded sea dweller who was MASSIVELY into the pirate bullshittery. His lusus, a HUGE GIGANTIC MEGALADON. named Fineas :]

He, Gagore, took Norrex in, and shared his lusus with her. Fineas acting as a proper usus, and Gagore being more akin to a human fther who really has no idea what he's doing.

Raised her to be strong, know how to proteect herself, and kept her away from society for the LONGEST time to try and protect her. Eventually things like that end, and she whines eenough he allows her ONE trip to town with him. Mistake cause that's when she meets Karkat.

It's not an INSTANT hit-it-off thing but the first interaction is good enough for them to keep in contact. And they talk and talk and talk and boom. Enter matespritship Swag. All good.

Then Norrex Meets Ferosi and Dedrik; unhealthy ass fucking matesprit couple (also ocs) who both instantly want her (for her autism swag and fat juicy ass.) nope. don't get her. (this is important for later 😏 )

enter Sgrurb. Meet Equius. Kick some of his teeth out cause he approached her and she got fucking scared. Hates her for a while!!!

Later in Sgrub, Dedrik splits of from Ferosi (who is at this point having an affair with Sollux) and try to fuck Norrex. She rejects.

he maims the ever loving shit out of her cause he can't take a fucking L.

Equius witnessed this because he was being a loser creep who just watches ppl from a distnce <3

BAD THING. Good cause she gets more self confident and less stupid (she gets stupid in a different way,) bad because now Karkat just finds her FUCKING INSUFFERABLE. NO MORE RED FROM HIM BUT HE DOESN"T LEAVE CAUSE MAYBE IT'LL COME BACK...WRONG!!!!

Anyway cut to the meteor. Abby is there now, and Karkat's getting his affair on. Norrex is too busy hanging with Nepeta or Vrisko to really notice (Gagore doesn't allow her near Equius, due to the Dedrik maiming her, he grows a bigotry for that entire blood caste.) (Equius has since gaied red feelings for her cause. SSTRONG bitch with the STRONG legs. AND A METAL WORKER?!?!?! god damn please step on him)

but at some point she finds the fuck out!!!! And beats the ever loving fucking SHIT out of them.

bref stint of being in a red rom with Gamzee. Doesn't fuckingn end well. Cause he goes ape shit. Breaks off her fucking horn. Does not manage to kill her due to Nora fucking dealing with him somehow.

Ferosi kills her tho. (got half-killed, brain transfered to robot body set to fucking Murder norrex ad explode)

COMES BACK (she's god tiered, theif of time)(ferosi comes back too. Sylph of breath) SWAGGER NORREX. EQUIUS. BECOMES REAL.
