Short astro notes
Tumblr media
Moon aspect Venus(negatively)/Neptune individuals are the heart of crystal with haze around it. Pure yet blurred, surrounded by distinct thoughts of their needs vs wants. They may try to find their love in people who aren't the one. Be prudent while making choices as you don't want to be wounded in the end.
Lilith in 10th/6th/Virgo/Capricorn or aspect with Midheaven people please be cautious in your work environment. Not only this people get bashed for no reason or for just putting their opinions in front, is so witless. People envy their success/ work and slur too. Authorities can be a big problem for them likewise.
Mercury/3rd house with the influence of Venus is such a beautiful aspect. These people are great at writing( relies on other aspects too). They are good at paring their words in a ravishing way that it's almost bliss to hear them. Also a placement for good writers/poets on the topic of love, beauty, art, appreciation, etc.
Moon's prominence on the midheaven constantly makes great chefs, hotel managers, caretakers/nannies, teachers, preschool administrators,  etc. In general, they are promising in these fields with their ability to manage things.
No one can beat a Venus- Neptune/Pisces Venus/ Venus in 12th people when it comes to having the trope of " one-sided secret admirers". Well, not prefer one-sided but yeah when they fall in love they are the most adorable. They can be so in love with their crushes/lovers, that it is unexplainable.

How I perceive different types of beauty in astrology
The more you have of one placement the more prominent or obvious it becomes
If you have a few you will give off a mix of the vibes I talk about, you may resonate more with one at a certain time, or tap into different ones for different occasions. In the future I may analyse some celebrities so you can see an example of all influencing placements mixed together.
That is what is so interesting, everyone has different mixtures of these placements, so finding the mixture you give off can help you see what type of vibe/aura you give off.
Pisces Placements - specifically rising, moon and Venus
Neptune dominant people, or Neptune aspecting the Asc
Aspecting mc can have an influence too - mainly conjunct
This is an etherial type of beauty. It’s soft and heavenly. Remember Neptune is the higher octave of Venus. Neptunian people have something about them where it feels like they literally glimmer, they give off this glowing light. They remind me oof the sound of wind chimes. This can be their eyes or a certain feature that can reflect this, but usually it’s just an overall vibe. There can a preciousness or innocence about their look. It is almost angelic. Extreme beauty can be seen through these placements.
Examples
Sofia Loren - ascendant trine Neptune
Julia Roberts - ascendant trine Neptune
Andrew Garfield - ascendant square Neptune
Pricilla Presley - ascendant square Neptune
Whitney Houston - ascendant in Pisces
Tumblr media
Aquarius placements - rising, moon, Venus (using modern astrology for this)
Uranus dominant people, Uranus aspecting the Asc
Uranus aspecting mc too - mainly conjunct
This is a striking type of beauty. It’s unforgettable. There is a uniqueness to these people, one or a few of their features stand out because it’s unusual. There can be something almost other-wordly about them. There is something about uranians that draw people to them, something you cant ignore or put your finger on, almost a shocking beauty, it strikes you like lightning.  They like being different and standing out. They cut through the crowd with their looks. In some ways their looks can also be ahead of their time.
Examples
Zendaya - Aquarius rising
Johnny Depp - Uranus in 1st house
Audrey Hepburn - Aquarius rising and Uranus in 1st house
Gemma Arterton - Uranus trine Ascendant
Emma Stone - Uranus trine Ascendant

Thank you for reading!
I did want this to be longer but I only had time to write about and research two so far.
there will be other parts to this with descriptions for for each sign/planets influence. I will be getting them out this week so if your placements haven't been mentioned look out for that.
If you like this type of content I will also be releasing some slots for chart readings from me soon, looking at not only your overall chart but also options for analysis of specific sections, so please look out for that too in the next month as I will have limited space :)

"sweet" takes / aspects and placements that deserve more love!
[astro notes no. 004]
Tumblr media

[content warning: abuse, addiction, self-harm/suicide. nothing detailed or explicit, just a warning for those who want to avoid these topics.]
Tumblr media
aquarius placements are not unemotional sociopaths and honestly this is such a goofy ass take. aquarius’ archetype literally centers around their need to advance society and wanting to help those around them as a means to do so. can their saturnian influence make them come off as cold in their approach sometimes? sure. but the whole “aquarius doesn’t have emotions and doesn’t care about anyone’s feelings” doesn’t make any type of sense considering the fact that aquarius craves connection with others in order to feel fulfilled
speaking of saturnian influence, y’all need to check up on your saturnian friends, especially if you’re below the age of 30. people tend to bring up how destructive and chaotic pluto is and the effect it can have on you if it’s tightly aspecting your personal planets, but i feel like people overlook the way that saturnian energy literally starts chipping away at you the moment you pop out the coochie. a lot of saturnians will consciously put too much on their plate because they don’t know how to function without overworking themselves, or, they’re distracting themselves from heavy emotions that they don’t want to feel. the idea of being alone with their thoughts is the most terrifying thing to them, and they would definitely benefit from having people around them that can slow them down and help them relax
to any parents (or people who work with children), please be gentle with your water sign babies. especially the scorpios and pisces. i feel like we don’t give children enough credit for how intelligent they actually are, and when it comes to water sign children i promise you, they know exactly what the fuck is going on. they know that you’re stressed out, they can recognize the energy in the room, and they’re internalizing all of your emotions and can be more prone to feeling overstimulated because of it. be patient with them, and as a former water sign baby myself, give them a hug for me <3
and since we’re giving out hugs, i gotta give a virtual one to my pisces and virgo placements. pisces and virgo are both signs of service, and typically opt to suffer in silence for the sake of those around them. i feel like pisces is the “worst” of the two, as pisces struggles with boundaries, and even when we’re being mistreated or abused by others we can literally convince ourselves that that’s actually not the case and that everything’s fine. pisces is also the only water sign that doesn’t have “armor” (cancer [the crab] has its shell, and scorpio [the scorpion] has its exoskeleton, claws, and stinger), which results in us getting hurt a lot. it’s typically why some pisces placements are prone to escapist tendencies, addiction, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. but pisces is the oldest of the zodiac, and there’s so much wisdom and spiritual knowledge that we unlock once we grow and evolve enough to “swim away” from the shit that doesn’t serve us
and i bring this up because i feel like pisces is constantly coded as “delusional” or “hyper-emotional”, and i know y’all love pointing out how “judgemental” and “nitpicky” virgo is. and while those stereotypes can be true depending on the person, i feel like the amount of energy pisces and virgo put into helping other people is constantly overshadowed by whatever “flaws” they may have. there was a tweet i read that said “maybe the final stage in your healing journey is finally telling people to fuck off”, that’s very much so the advice i’d give to pisces and virgo. your worth is not intrinsically linked to how much pain you can withstand or how much abuse you can tolerate from people who claim to love you. you deserve so much more and i promise there’s something bigger and better waiting for you on the other side of what it is that you’re currently settling for
i feel like the importance of 12H, neptune, water sign placements can often get overlooked in comparison to more practical, “realistic” planetary/sign placements. it’s definitely important to have balanced, grounded energy in your chart alongside these types of placements, but i feel like people underestimate how powerful it is to have spiritual and creative placements as well. and while these can be difficult aspects to master, i feel like once you do get to a point where you’ve done the work it can not only make you an incredible artist, but an extremely compassionate, empathetic healer. people with these placements tend to go through a lot, and experience an insane amount of turmoil. but no matter how tired you are, and no matter how misunderstood or lost you may feel, you’re here to serve a greater purpose and your craft is sacred. you have tools at your disposal that it takes people years upon years to develop, and it’s not something that should be taken for granted
i'll most likely end up doing a part two to this, but that's all i've got for now. as always, if anyone has any of the placements/aspects mentioned in this post i'd love to hear how they manifest in your life, and if you have any input in general feel free to let me know!

Neptune and manifesting
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Neptune/Sun: This aspect shows itself in individuals that are natural at manifesting. "I want it I got it". Manifesting when it comes to THEM is easier, then others. Ones with these placements should be as bold as they want, the sky is truly the limit. These people are always wanting to be the better version of themselves and want to improve on something.
Neptune/Moon: Being in tune with your emotions is crucial to people with these aspects. They are the type to do a lot of visualization and dream of their desires. Quite spiritual people! It's easier to manifest when they have an emotional attachment to what they are manifesting for.
Neptune/Mercury: Writing and affirming must come easy to these individuals! (at least for me!). Also scripting can come natural for people with this placement. Their thoughts create basically. I would advise that everyone does self concept but especially if you have prominent mercury. Overthinking is common so they need to be wary about that!
Neptune/Venus: Manifesting with music can be more effective. Neptune/Venus natives are a bit similar with Neptune/Moon natives. Though these ones can do more with relationships, beauty etc. (Side effects are that they can be a bit too attached it not careful).
Neptune/Mars: These ones are more "hands on". I'm imagining them actually putting in the work and have the motivation and drive to manifest their desires. Personally this is my favorite one as these people can do anything they put their mind to. Similar to Sun but these ones are more assertive and blunt.
Neptune/Jupiter: When someone with these placements manifests once, they are unstoppable. They are quite ambitious and will aim for anything, not even the sky is the limit for them. They like big things and have a lot of goals.
Neptune/ASC: Manifesting can come of natural to these people. Ariana Grande and Marilyn Monroe have this placements and they have talked about manifesting as well. With this placement they are really in control in their reality. Visualizing is a great tool (also for mercury too)!
Neptune/Saturn: When everyone is worrying about getting their results these ones are very grounded. They know what they want and are clear on how to get it. If you have this placement and are not grounding is something you should definitely try! It's not easy to detour these ones for their goals.

⁂ astro observations pt. 8 ⁂
take with a grain of salt and only take what resonates <3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
☆ the expression “don’t follow your feelings” does not apply to cancer rising/sun. when these natives follow their true genuine feelings (not feelings out of spite, revenge or other intentions alike) it leads them to great happiness and success
☆ don’t mess with aquarius and cancer risings. that martian (aries and scorpio) ruled 10th house isn’t for nothing y’all!
☆ scorpio moons could struggle to get into relationships because of the intimacy issues
☆ moon conjunct mercury and ranting all the time (although if it’s in scorpio the effect is lessened i find)
☆ saggitarius suns tend to have well-to-do fathers they don’t necessarily have to have rich fathers but these people may find a lot of opportunities through their father
☆ mars-lilith aspects are some powerful people, seriously don’t mess with them
☆ scorpio moon x scorpio moon relationships don’t really work in my experience😭
☆ i don’t care how many times it’s been said leo risings are so magnetic, people tend to obsess over natives with this placement
☆ more on that, leo rising is the most different out of 5th house/leo placements. 5th house/leo placements tend to be more energetic and outgoing but then leo rising i think tend to be more laid back and people naturally flock to them
☆ 7th house synastry is giving enemies to lovers
☆ saggitarius moons tend to embody that happy-go-lucky, optimistic attitude more than the suns
☆ people who have uranian influence on their rising tend to have extreme heights (ex: ariana grande is really short, she has uranus conj. asc., taylor swift is really tall, and she also has the same aspect)
☆ the way that people are obsessed with cancer moons because of that approachable, relaxed demeanor
☆ virgo mercuries are blunt but not blunt like saggitarius, aries, or scorpio mercury
☆ mercury conjunct jupiter people find opportunities through the people they talk to and their communication style (like saggitarius mercuries, these people are also blunt)
☆ people who have venus retrograde tend to be more on the quiet side, but they can also be really funny when they do have something to say
☆ it is really important for people who have seesaw shaped charts to master the axis in which the seesaw is happening in (e.g, 1st-7th house seesaw have to master confidence and diplomatic values and learn when to use both or 3rd-9th house axis seesaws have to learn how to balance having experiences with others within their comfort zone vs outside their comfort zone, etc..)
☆ natal saturn in 2nd house shows someone who doubts their abilities/skills often not just their self-worth
☆ something with taurus mars and biting people …
☆ if someone’s rising falls in your 12th house, you may feel as if you don’t get to see the rising in-person that often
☆ scorpio in your chart shows where you’re powerful but also where others will try and tear you down
☆ lilith can show where we feel/are the bad guys? im not so sure about this let me down below what your thoughts are!

hope you enjoy!

Neptune Placements and Subconscious Manifestation
Tumblr media
Neptunians have a calling in their souls path that utilizes the subconscious prowells of the underworld and higher realms of reality.
Everything is subconscious before it is materialized, so neptunians have a great understanding of this at birth. The beauty of this is that once they learn how to stay afloat in a reality that tries to force them to be grounded, they will be able to use their brain to conquer the reality they wish to receive in this lifetime.
With that being said, let me explain how everyone with neptune placements can utilize their gifts in order to receive the reality they want for themselves, as well as knowing how to appreciate the things their subconscious mind is able to do and magnetize to them.
I will say that nothing is impossible, because with the mind all can be possible if you just believe. Neptune rules the higher heart, it allows us to see the beyond of something we believe as impossible to be possible. With the use of our pineal glands (neptune/uranus) we can see more of anything in the horizon even if its not able to be seen first hand, with effort and practice.the world can be ours.
Sun/Neptune - When it comes to your subconscious mind, it has much to do with the way you express yourself into the world. If you want a dancer, a lawyer, a scientist, etc. Before it materializes you must act it out BEFORE it can arrive to you. Think of the law of attraction (which neptune rules over) and think about how you'd be if you were these things already. Your brain doesn't know the difference between you having this thing or not, it responds to the nature of doing something and receive information on how to expand the consciousness on that desire. Being your true self helps you get into alignment with the thing that you want.
Pay attention to how you act when you are around others because this is reflective of your imagination, not theirs. With neptunians it is easy for people to take in people’s projections of them and it can mess with your imagination, however, we still have control on we’re our subconscious reality goes.
Moon/Neptune is reflective on your emotional state. For example, you want to feel joy, right? What happens if you never felt joy ever? You would have to force yourself into that roll. It might sound goofy at first but with practice you will realize that energy doesn’t lie, and our emotions are connecting to energy.. good bad and neutral.
The beauty with this placement is how well these individuals can alchemize their emotions and transform it into something that they want in the material/physical reality. So if I want more joy and I never felt it before but I know it’s a form of happiness, Im going to “pretend” to be joyous and when I keep doing this it’ll begin to reflect into my reality therefore REAL joy can come into fruition. It just takes time n effort. And with said effort of mastering the alchemy of my own emotions, I could then create a reality out of this energy (our emotions are = energy) thus moving me into a vibration of more joy where I can attract what I want into the form of whatever it is I desire. I just have to seek out joy.
With this placement though, a lot of times what you want to create doesn’t have a actual look, mostly a vibe. So sometimes you have to reflect on the feeling of it and not just the look. “Follow the energy” would be my final word to you all.
Neptune/ASC has a lot to do with shapeshifting yourself into the reality that you want. It also has a lot to do with being consciously aware of the choices that you are making, and making moves toward the direction of your desire. I’m going to use miss Marilyn Monroe as an example. Monroe, a neptune/asc in leo had a vision that she would be a star. Before we knew her as Marilyn, she was norma jean with brunette hair and a pretty smile. Once she transformed her look, hair, and character it was at this moment she would be the world famous superstar of our time. She talked about how she used her mind and pretended she was already the star she wanted to be and with time it moved her into the direction she wanted for herself. Another example would be you want a house or a car, but it’s not just any car or house it’s a luxury! Your subconscious doesn’t know the difference so you would have to consciously make yourself act as if you have it because the external reality responds to the vibration of your internal self (conscious and unconscious) first, external after.
Neptune/Mercury the power is in the voice! One of the few placements that can will what they want for themselves with the power of the tongue. The truth of the matter is that you must pretend and then focus on the energy that is being presented when willing it into your reality. These are the type of people who can be prophets in their life and utilize this ability with any talents in writing/singing/rapping/visuals etc. The use of the hands here is a gift as well. Scripting and creating stories of their own life before it happens is something they could be pretty good at if they listen to their intuition. The mind responds to what you believe is real , like for example you say "Im ugly" a hundred times, the universe will attach that feeling to your reality. If you say "im pretty" eventually your mind will believe this as true, so then you end up being in situations that show your true nature. YOU control the mind and what comes out of it. Just be you!
Neptune/Venus the power is in your sensuality and the way you express your love for yourself and all around you. Beautiful placement, how you will what you want within reality is by going with the flow. Dreams can come true but with venusian energy we have to relinquish our control! These two planets together deal with the heart, so what we believe wholeheartedly can come true we just have to embrace it with our minds and the way we feel life with our sensual nature. Beautiful placement, i'll say it again.
The love you have for yourself will reflect back in your manifestations. Deservingness is a theme for people with this placement.
Neptune/Mars - Your drive. Your endurance levels and what you believe is possible is how strongly this placement will be. If youre not confident in whatever it is you want than mars energy here will be a pretty low since its dependant on the subconscious. I see people with this placement having to embark on a lot of psychological transformations as mars/aries rules the head so the mind will always be something worth having to overcome. Building up confidence and working up a sweat is actually a good way to help your manifestations come through quicker! Neptune/mars can rely on getting into the root of something to heal the wounds of the subconscious so that their conscious reality can mirror the internal feelings of what they desire in the process.
Neptune/Pluto - Okay so at this point i want to start of by saying that any planet that isn't a luminary (Uranus/Neptune/Jupiter/Saturn/Pluto) does not have much of a affect in the physical, but mostly internal and spiritual. Neptune and pluto together are a powerhouse baby! Because its dealing with the unconscious and the subconscious and its usually something that lays hidden. With the luminaries, we can consciously see what are reality is like versus our imagination. With this placement its tricky because if pluto wants to stay a secret, thats what itll be. The goal here is to see and feel what your imagination is trying to say to you. You may be dealing with blocked manifestation abilities with this placement so it'll take some sort of 'shadow work' to get the bottom of any issues as to why manifesting something isnt as easy.
Now here is the part on how it can be easier. Since pluto rules the unconscious, you must be aware of your dream state especially since neptune is the ruler of dreams. Sometimes what you want may not come thru you but through others, as pluto is a magnet of getting other people to do what it wants. So with that being said, connecting to your inner self via meditation and thru dreams would help you see the best manifestation method for you. Neptune/Pluto together shows me that their are a lot unlocked gifts that you may have to work to get a chance to use them. Pay attention to how you feel and what you say when manifesting. Start with a sentence on what you desire, pay attention to your imagination, what comes up? does it feel good or bad? if it feels good feel the vibration of it and thats when you'll know how to receive it because its thru a certain emotion (and emotions bring power WHEN used correctly). If it feels bad, why? go deeper on the subject, because it could either be blocking you or protecting you. A lot of times the unconscious like to hide because maybe when you were younger something 'forced' it to lock away certain gifts. Your subconscious/unconscious self holds great awards, and the more you go inside to see the more you will become the magician of your own reality!
Neptune/Saturn - Grounded. Material. Discipline. Staying Focused. 4 things to note with this placement is that saturn will reward you with the effort you take to move into it! The original law of attraction placement. It focuses on bring our dreams into material reality. With you guys, meditating on what you want and then creating a blueprint for it is the best way to see thru an idea and allowing the universe to present it to you the way it sees fit. We may not know all the answers but thats the point, we're not suppose to know everything we're just suppose to do it.
Now with you guys focusing on the task and putting all your energy on that goal is how saturn will push you forward to that thing you want to manifest. I need yall to dream big here because saturn whats you to create something with a long lasting foundation so theirs no playing small here. We start off with some baby steps and we move on to the bigger picture but saturns energy deals with the dark stuff nobody ever talks about. Hardwork pays off but the amount of effort you put into changing your mindset and going in with the challenge is the kicker.
Creating the vision is easy with neptune but putting in the work is sometimes the hardest. How bad do you want it? That's a saturn proverb here. We gotta get use to things not being as 'easy' as we may like, and thats the lesson saturn brings with this placement.
Neptune/Jupiter - This placement counts on your belief system so the higher your beliefs the stronger the outcome of the manifestation. This placement has no room for small, shorthanded beliefs because you'll eventually will have to learn how to expand your horizons. Jupiter rules luck, so a risk will be necessary on receiving what you desire. Do you wish to travel? Then you must believe that you can fly. New look? You must believe that you will look great in whatever you put on? Don't trust yourself to swim ? Gotta change that narrative, just say you're a mermaid without gills ;) jk. This placement can not be still and you will go through many journeys in life whether it's through the mind or across the world. Believe in MORE and you will receive it.
Seriously though, this placement is built on your belief system and it can get stronger immediately once you go towards more optimism in your life.
Neptune/Uranus. Think think think! The power is strictly in your consciousness. With manifesting what you want, it may be more unconventional than you'd think. As a person with this placement (this is a generational placement from like 1993 to 1999) I've noticed that this placement requires you to look beyond what you see in front of you. This generation so far is creating a new era of dreams no one never seen coming. Ive seen people manifest their dreams as being a rapper and even if their not super famous or in hollywood they've built a lifestyle for themselves that we've otherwise never seen possible. I'd say their more on the independant side which I've seen a lot of so far. But the reason I used that as an example is because you have to let go and let the unexpected happen. Our dreams are possible to achieve we just have to know that it may be different and most likely ahead of its time!
I hope you all loved my observation list on neptune and the other placements! Stay tuned for more to come. Maybe you can manifest what i do next ;) hehe, bye!

Astro placements that may struggle in love 💔
Tumblr media
Part 1:
7H Neptune- They approach love with rose-colored glasses. Will often struggle with seeing the reality of the relationship because they tend to idealize & romanticize their partner & overlook red flags.
8H Stellium- They have issues surrounding intimacy, power/control dynamics, & vulnerability. It can be difficult for them to let their guard down & trust others & they may push people away to protect themselves. They deeply crave intimacy but fear it at the same time. Feelings of deep loneliness/shame can manifest with this placement.
Aquarius Venus- Struggles with trusting others. It can be difficult for them to be vulnerable & express themselves emotionally. They don’t wear their heart on their sleeve & can appear detached + stoic. But they do feel deeply they just don’t show it at all. They prefer friends to lovers dynamic so if you are not willing to be their friend first they won’t trust you.
Pisces Venus- Hopeless romantic placement. They often attract love but it doesn’t always stick. They love the idea of love & fantasize about their perfect partner & the life they will share. They like to see the best in people + provide unconditional love. They tend to give themselves away fully when they are in love too which attracts really bad people into their life. Like people who take advantage of them & try to use them. But they can also struggle with addiction/obsession + codependency towards their lover.
Moon Square Venus- Manifests as codependence & emotional neediness. They can be emotionally suffocating with their loved ones & they may even have difficulties forming intimate relationships with others because of this. These individuals feel deeply & will not always have a healthy outlet to express their emotions.

Hello! What can you say about a neptune conjuct ascendant person? Thank you!😊
NEPTUNE CONJUNCT ASCENDANT
Tumblr media
Finding deep meaning and comfort within spiritual practices, including religious ones, is a relevant theme for this aspect. These sensitive types are strongly affected by the cruelty of this reality. The nature of suffering confuses them, they don’t understand why bad things happen to good people. It is deeply disturbing for them to witness any type of harm cast upon the innocent. Turning towards spiritual practices offers them guidance and perspective. People with this aspect are naturally drawn towards children, animals, people who are sick, or anyone who needs to be cared for. Their presence is healing and they want people to feel safe around them. Due to this, they have a talent for shapeshifting. They know what people need on an intuitive level and will alter the way in which they present themselves so others will feel comfortable. Developing many different personas allows for them to reach people on a profound level.

Lilith Square Ascendant seems like a Scorpio Rising. What other aspects can soften the blow?
Placements that Empower your Lilith
Tumblr media
Lilith in the bible was Adam's first wife, and when he tried to make her submit to him, she rebelled and forged her own path. Truth to be told, I think there's no real way to soften Lilith's influence. I just think there's things that may strengthen Lilith's hold on you and it's power, like having-
🥀
Scorpio Ascendant
( or any water ascendant but mostly Scorpio )
🥀
Pluto, Moon, or Mars in the 1st, 4th, 8th or 10th house
🥀
Neptune in the 1st, 8th or 12th house
🥀
Lilith in the ruling house of the ascendant
( For example, my rising is Sagittarius, and Lilith is in my 9th House ( ruled by sagittarius )
🥀
Lilith in Aries, Aquarius, Pisces or Scorpio
🥀
Sun, Mars, Neptune, Pluto and/or North Node aspecting your Ascendant or Lilith
🥀
Chiron and Lilith in the same house or opposite houses.

🌊my take on neptune🌊
---------------------------------------------------------
Tumblr media
LOOK at that gorgeous fucking planet man-
i wanna start this with a little tiny disclaimer that my take on neptune is very different from the usual and kinda flips a lot of shit on its head so my bad if this makes no sense to u but i wouldn't be uranus ruled if i didnt do shit crazy different would i 💔💔
THAT BEING SAID!!!!!! LETS GET INTO IT BABEY!!!!
Tumblr media
let's start with what I'm dismantling-
in modern astrology, neptune is often considered the higher octave of venus and is known as the planet of spirituality or higher love. ive seen a lot of ppl say that neptune is associated with hollywood, which makes no fucking sense to me but whatever yknow to each their own-
neptune is also known as the ruler of pisces, and is exalted in cancer, the sign the moon rules.
I am about to flip a Whole fuckton on its head here so strap in and give me ur brain for a second 💔💔
neptune, the god, is the roman counterpart to poseidon, and poseidon rules over the sea, storms and earthquakes- generally very chaotic stuff-
poseidon's egyptian equivalent would be Seth, or Set. Seth was the god of chaos, storms, earthquakes, generally very chaotic stuff again.
Seth was also a trickster and, in egyptian mythology, overall kind of an asshole (since he literally chopped up Osiris into like a billion pieces and then scattered him across the earth so- idk kind of a dick move ngl)
but that's what he did!! that was his thing!!! he was the god of chaos!!!! gods of chaos are gonna be kinda assholes!!!!
But what does this mean for neptune- well this means that Neptune would be Seth (and neptune is known for it's deceptive qualities)
now keep that in ur brain as i go off on another tangent that will eventually circle back around to this one-
Tumblr media
another proposal i have that may be shocking is that to me, Neptune is the one that rules Cancer, and the moon is the one that rules Pisces.
stay with me here hold on hear me out 💔
since ive been quite literally twisting the fuck out of astrology in my head and debunking cancer myth after cancer myth, I've come to find that cancers are a much more volatile sign than we give them credit for- or at least Can be-
they're not crybabies by any sense of the imagination, and like i said in my post abt cancers and rage, they feel anger more heavily than anything. they can also be very chaotic because they're cardinal water (think tsunamis).
now they're not all bad, dont think im tryna paint em as villains dawg i am literally a cancer rising/mars- but they have a distinct dark side to them that is Not to be fucked with.
cancers are often considered the "mothers" of the zodiac, but that has been watered down to "they're good with kids and probably want kids"- when cancers were Initially considered the mothers of the zodiac, they were talking abt cancers are the Guardians of the Zodiac.
not the galaxy-
now i will say, if a cancer has children, they will be VERY protective of them, but not in a helicopter-y way. more like in a "if you say something bad about their children or threaten to harm their children in any way, they will most likely punch you in the face and knock you out."
they wont bitch at you or be polite about it, they will probably break your face- BREAK YOUR FUCKIN FACE TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!
now, where do cancers get that rage from? who around here borders on being or Is a god of chaos in the zodiac................. seth.
neptune is a much darker, more volatile planet than we give it credit for, just like cancers can be the same- But at the same time, they can both be very pleasant entities-
cancers can easily be some of the nicest people you've ever met, they're incredibly loyal and would probably go to war for you if you meant a lot to them, and they can be VERY and often times Are creative and artistic in some way.
neptune can be a very rewarding planet to work with, it can be incredibly creative because of the depth it represents, and it can put you and guide you on your path to and through spirituality.
Tumblr media
neptune ruling cardinal water makes much more sense in this light than it ruling mutable water in my opinion. a planet as potentially volatile as neptune would NOT be mutable.
all of this also comes partially from my slightly different idea of what higher octaves really are- ive seen people say they're the "large scale influence" planets, but i think they're quite literally just the more powerful versions of the planets they're the higher octaves of (so they can and do affect the large scale, but that's not ALL they are).
so the moon in this case would deal with our conscious emotions, our humanity, that level of stuff- which makes more sense for pisces in my opinion- the moon would be more along the lines of the emotions we Think we should feel (mutable) and therefore do- the moon is how we may have Learned to feel, among many other things.
whereas neptune is our deep, inner self. our subconscious emotions, the feelings that penetrate our very soul. neptune is our shadow self, but it's also our higher self. just as the moon has a dark side, neptune has one too, but neptune's dark side is infinitely more painful.
Tumblr media
this role switch also makes much more sense at least in my chart, because when looking at the moon as being my chart ruler, my co-ascendant would be pisces, which never made any sense to me- so i chalked it up to "oh well my moon is 1° pisces so it's basically aquarius i guess" which DID make sense
but my moon is still in pisces. My neptune, however, is firmly in aquarius, which explains perfectly why i feel so much more aquarius coded than anything else.
im also like 99% outer planet ruled, mercury being the only inner planet that dominates my chart- my most active planets are mercury, saturn, uranus, neptune and pluto 😮‍💨
HOWVEVEVR!!!!!!
i wanna say that whenever i switch everything up like this, i still find value in normal astrology and often combine it with my twisted version to get the most accuracy possible- so while my neptune and uranus are in mutual reception (aquarius/pisces) but i believe that neptune rules cancer, i still feel that mutual reception but i also still feel the neptune/cancer influence, especially since my ascendant literally starts in the neptune decan of cancer.
and this makes my chart make a lot more sense in terms of neptune too-
if this makes absolutely no fucking sense at all to you then that's fine!!! this is just my personal view on neptune and i honestly still associate a lot of My View of neptune's traits with the moon, which is why i incorporate a multitude of different perspectives into how i interpret everything and it gives me accurate meanings so i see no problem with it-
once it stops being accurate, then there's a problem, but we're not there yet so it's ok 🙏🙏
ultimately u can kinda just take this as food for thought if nothing else!! and if u read this far into my yapping session, god bless fr 😮‍💨 (i am not religious. HAHAHHAA)
