1. Your viewers do not trust you. 2. Not every show you make will explode. 3. Viewership doesn't have to correlate with subscriptions. 4. You have decided you want no more profit out of these shows. If another studio wants the rights, hand them over.

Do you remember when you were the safe place for shows being cancelled? The fans would think "Oh thank god, Netflix will pick it up. We trust them to do it well." How do you feel now? Are you proud of yourselves? Let's get to 50. 26 isn't enough. Have you not got enough to meet your metrics again? Your metrics are a monkey on cocaine. Trust the outcry. Maybe then, your viewers would trust you.

i am a nick danforth-evans defender for LIFE. that boy did NOTHING wrong.

he just liked a girl and tried to hang out with her and ask her out, but when it became clear she liked someone else he quickly dropped it and respected her feelings. he showed up to all of her performances, hyped her up, and then went to her house to congratulate her after her big breakthrough performance, then got possessed by an evil ghost just for BEING THERE. he deserved SO MUCH BETTER

everytime i listen to the other side of hollywood i always get goosebumps at the 2:25 mark. it just fits sooo well! it FEELS like a villain song! it’s like i get creeped out cause the boys are in caleb’s club but i also can’t stop vibing cause it’s such a banger song!!

The one thing I said when I heard they were making an adaptation of shadow and bone was that I wouldn’t get attached because Netflix would cancel it before we ever reached the crows.

Don’t really understand Netflix’s logic of cancelling the show before adapting the most popular books of the series (soc and ck)?

Seeing how Netflix keeps canceling shows still infuriates me. But weirdly, it makes me feel better for JATP. They are not the only show that got canceled without a good reason. Shows which made it into the Top 10 -- shows that have a huger audience (but received less critical acclaim) got canceled too.

It's not the cast's fault. It's not the writers' fault. It's not Kenny's fault.

It's not JATP's fault.

Like so many other shows, they just had bad luck.

#julie and the phantoms #jatp #if jatp had aired a few months earlier I believe they would have gotten a second season #cause it looks like Netflix' attitude regarding renewals changed in summer 2020 #another reason why I won't watch shows directly after their release #even though I love One Piece and Oda was involved in it I won't watch the Netflix adaptation #the manga has >1000 chapters and hasn't ended yet ... it's impossible to adapt the whole story #they will release 1 or 2 seasons to lure in a few more users and then cancel it
