What were they up to though?

Looks like they are building up for another long skit series ft. Chase and the busted up time machine! (That's what I'm guessing. Random Chase popping in and out of Good Mythical Summer~)

Like a few things were hinted in previous episodes. Weird occurrences that were over looked.

Like in episode Restaurant Ad vs. Yelp Review the knife Link had thrashing around and making everyone uneasy was gone. Then Nicole coming in (a bit perplexed mind you.) with a new different knife to hand to Rhett. Cause she don't know what happened to it. She didn't take it from the desk. Knife's like to evaporate from time to time on gmm.

Also, before the blade vanished. Rhett saying to Link (Like many times before) to be more careful with that knife cause one day it's going to injure someone or more likely HIM.

Link: "I made it to fix some small things that need fixing on this show."

Foreshadowing~ (Rip Rhett fingies 😭)

Then in episode Chipotle vs. Qdoba Link was cut off by what sounded like a plastic tray or something falling on the floor.

Link: "but, you know what doesn't guac my world when it comes to mexico?"

Fast forward to todays episode.

(Rhett wanting to know what they are doing in the future? Link shrugged saying 'We were just eating stuff.' Had my mind go to their promised date to go to a certain restaurant wearing matching booty shorts....yeah...you never know!!)

Also, on the MS they talked about how crazy and weird this GMS is going to be. My mind is a buzz of thoughts~

It is so important that in the finale Punz becomes one of the first people to where Dream can see stand up to the people harassing him.

Tommy and Tubbo slaughter Dream for no reason then wander over to brag about it and Punz does not backtrack he does not hide. Fuck that shit.

And when Tommy starts hurling abuse at Dream? When Tommy refuses to listen, twists and mischaracterizes Dream's every word? Punz repeatedly stands up to him. He spends the entire encounter pointing out very explicitly what Tommy is doing and has been doing for years.

He stands up for someone whose been talked over, lied about and mischaracterized. Demonized as automatic matter of course. He does not give the person who hurt Dream space to continue unchallenged. He points out Tommy's lies. He doesn't force a guy defined by his struggle to overcome people that badger him with false words he has no answer for to stand alone in an argument.

Punz backs his friend, respects him and fights back. For the first time in recent memory, Dream is with someone who is not only on his side, but won't let Tommy continue to hurt Dream.

Okay well you try being constantly asked by media in a crowded, echoing space if you’re having problems with your confidence after you’ve shown improvement that has been ignored. You try being kind to people only to have the kindness thrown back in your face and vitriol said behind your back. You try facing back handed commentary and snide remarks about your future. Day in and day out, you try having article after article slandering your name being put out simply because people hate that you have money in a sport where that is the norm.

I’d be fed the fuck up too. Lance shouldn’t have to play nice for these people to treat him with the bare minimum respect. He deserves his seat, and I’m sick of it always being questioned if he does.
