Billy was swinging his legs off the edge of the medbay bed as he thought about what he could do. He had, yet again, found himself in an extremely odd situation and wasn't quite sure if he could get out of it without any consequences.

Billy and Superman had been fighting a rather talented witch when she managed to force him into powering down. Thankfully Superman had beat her just a few seconds later and Billy hadn't gotten much more then a few scratches from the fall.

The bad news was that Superman had already saw Billy and rushed him to the tower medbay where he was surrounded by his team. They all looked super worried but Billy was to busy trying to figure out an excuse to really answer any of their questions.

This is when he had a stroke of genius. He remembered hearing stories of the times other members had been de-aged, surely they'd believe that! And they did, a little too much unfortunately.

They believed him but apparently it had taken a week or two for the others to get back to normal, which made them think he was stuck like this!

"We can't leave him up here for two weeks he'd bore himself to death!"

"What other option do we have? We can't allow him to go back to Fawcett!"

They continued to talk, and like most adults they soon forgot Billy was sitting right in front of them. That was one of the main reasons his identity was kept secret, he couldn't stand being overlooked like this. It was why he was even nervous to tell the Young Justice team, not that they had minded. The entire team actually took the news rather well.

Billy wished the main league would do the same but he knew they wouldn't. So for now he just sat there. He was completely zoned out by the time the league stopped arguing and finally started talking to him.

"Well a decision has been made."

"Good god Barry don't make it a death sentence. You're staying with Superman till you recover." What? When did they decide that?

Superman clearly took his confusion as upset, "Don't worry Cap, we won't treat you like a kid or anything. It'll just be two teammates hanging out, alright?"

When did life get like this. "Alright." At Billy's consent everything started moving really fast, it seemed like before he could blink he was waving goodbye to his friends and zeta-ing away to Kansas.

Which was insane, Superman lived in Kansas? "So, uh Cap. We're heading out to my Ma's farm so you'll get to meet her with the rest of my family."

Oh no, he hadn't even thought about that. Meeting Superman's family was sure to be odd. Billy didn't have much time to dwell on it though considering how quickly they arrived.

They were at a small farmhouse, and holy moly was that a barn? Did Superman live on an actual farm, with animals and stuff? That'd be so cool, Billy's never got to meet bunches of animals before!

He was distracted from his thoughts when a little old woman came out on the porch, "Clark, honey there you are! Oh my, who's that? You're hanging out with Bruce to much."

Superman- Clark?- seemed embarrassed, "Ma no, this isn't- I'm not. This is Cap."
