12/03/2020 Thursday

Started yesterday a new bujo in A6 size. Previous A5 size was a bit overwhelming and not so convenient to carry around with me. So I decided to go back to minimal and use bujo + Microsoft To Do app for all my current tasks. We’ll see how it goes.

Done for today :

-took care of my nails (and didn’t bite them)

-English study session

-worked on our app

Here’s the notebook that will serve faithfully as my sixth bullet journal!

It’s a maroon Tekukor, 192 pages of 100gsm 5mm dot grid paper. The dots are super duper light on a slightly creamy page color and fade into the background immediately! The notebook also comes with three bookmarks (maroon, white, and yellow/gold), and a back pocket. The closing elastic is extra wide which I like, and I tend to tuck a pen under the elastic when I need to because the notebook does not come with a pen loop.

I used Tekukor black notebooks for my second and third volumes, and really enjoyed them! I wanted to come back to them but was feeling done with black for the time being, so I was really happy to discover that they came out with a whole line of colored covers, including this beautiful maroon.

I just finished my second ever Bullet Journal!

Since the year is so close to being over, I decided to finish out December by bullet journaling in my actual journal so I can start 2020 with a fresh BuJo. I spent a while yesterday moving over a couple of collections, making a Monthly spread for December, etc. It took so much longer than usual because my journal has lined paper and I’m used to the dot paper in my BuJo.

Since my studyblr is extremely bare, I thought I’d share some photos of my new spreads! I’m actually super proud of them.

This is my December 2019 monthly spread. I only just started using washi tape yesterday, and I already love it so much! Definitely a new must-have for BuJoing! The pack I bought is super pretty, too. It works perfectly since my monthly theme for December is blue. Since I’m learning Korean, I had to make sure I included the month in 한국어. When I draw out my monthly calendars in my dotted BuJo’s I always write the weekdays and numbers in Korean, too. The sticky notes are covering my habit tracker because some of the items are really personal and I don’t think the whole internet needs to see them.

I’m getting back into studyblr and bullet journaling! I hope that it will help me be, like, at all productive in the coming school year. I find bullet journaling fun and relaxing and I wish I had done more of it last year.

I bought a Leuchtturm1917 dotted notebook and a Faber-Castell pencil sharpener today (both pictured above). I’m excited about the notebook because I’ve never used a dotted notebook before. I was using a grid notebook last year before I stopped bullet journaling.

I’ve been trying to bullet journal for almost 3 years but none of my attempts have worked bc I like reordering/remaking the pages and table of contents which ruins the journal. So this summer I’m going to try journaling with a 3 ring binder. Each section has its own table of contents that I can edit/remake if I need to. I can also remake pages/lists if I don’t like the layout or aesthetic. So far there are only three sections but I might add more when college starts, idk. Section I is for monthly outlines, long term planning, and budgeting. Section II is for weekly outlines, habit trackers, chores, and daily to-do lists. Section III is for extracurricular stuff like places to visit, books to read, journaling cool places I’ve been, etc. I’ll try to make regular updates over the next three months about how this progresses, what changes I make, and what works best for me.

Heyyy guys, sorry that I haven’t updated my posts for like an eternity. I just started pre-u in middle of May, and…

Here is my spread for June

I basically just started the bujo system and still getting the hang of it.

Looking at all the pros out there (including you) making their aesthetic or simple minimalistic spreads made me a little disappoint in my work. BBUUTTT I am still learning, plus this is just the second spread of the year for me.

I might be doing a throwback on May spread sooner if you guys are even interested🤔

I liked the the habit trackers the best so far, it really helped me to change my habits little by little, and by vision I can see that I’m improving one step at a time. Really recommend lazy people like myself to start bullet journaling. I feel more productive even by the slightest bit when I force myself to write one or two line for the day before I went to bed.

That’s all I gotta say for this post, Nights!

I bought a new plant (yay!). My last one is still alive, don’t worry, I just wanted to add another one cause I felt like the room was a bit empty and sad. The plant is lovely, by the way, and I’m planning on buying another one next month.

So here’s last week spread. At that time I was feeling a bit off and gloomy and I didn’t even go to class for the whole week. I don’t know what got into me, and I still don’t know what to expect from everything that I thought about in that period of time but I hope I can figure everything out eventually. I somehow feel like a different person and I don’t really dislike it, to be honest. The bad thing is that I have to study A LOT to make up for that lost week and I don’t know if I’ll be able to cope with it.

I’m starting to stress out already lol.
