Overall the thing that makes me really sad about BG3 is that I don't really like the gameplay at all. Love the story, characters, etc. but anything that's not a fight feels like a chore (exploration/puzzles) and the fights themselves aren't exciting enough to make it worth it/feel far too chance/level based.

#since i play games 90% for gameplay and tend to say I'd rather watch movies/shows/books/podcasts if i wanna care about a story #it's tough to get through and tough to get into #yesterday I played all day bc I was extra focused on getting through astarion's stuff and seeing how that ended #but today i can't get into it #the bird's eye view really makes any new area/monster/boss you encounter less intense of an experience #normally a new area #new creature #new boss #is what I LIVE for #but seeing it all from the sky doesn't feel like anything
