Rare-Pear ~ a One Piece Rare-Pair Server!

after holding several different conversations across a variety of platforms, i decided maybe it was time to try and make my own server! rare-pairs hold a special place in my heart. they don't often get as much love as some of the more popular ships and tropes, which can leave the creators feeling awfully lonely.

SO! i sought to remedy that! 🥰 together, we can find other niche creations and creators and give them all the hype they deserve! there are channels for bouncing ideas around, sharing fics and art, and plenty of space for general discussion/analyses. we also have an ao3 collection to flaunt all the fruits of our labor! 🍐💕

i will post the detailed rules below the cut, but here's the tl:dr for anyone who's just doing a quick scroll:

writers, artists, and casual consumers are all welcome!

focus on pairings with <100 stories on ao3 using otp:true

must be 20+ to join

no anti/proship discourse

roles to opt in/out of nsfw or dark content

RULES

this server was created to offer a place for those who enjoy rare pairs in the One Piece fandom. for the sake of this server, a rare pair is defined as a pairing who has less than 100 works on ao3 using "otp:true". (romantic or platonic!) but don’t panic! if your OTP (or one of them) has more than 100 works, that’s okay! you are still welcome here! just be sure to encourage those who are creating for and/or celebrating smaller pairings.

you must be 20+ years old to join this server.

respect is vital. any form of hate speech or bigotry will not be tolerated. if a ship, story, or trope is not your cup of tea, don’t drink it! disagreements are inevitable, but the nature of this server is to support one another, so please be respectful if ideas collide. different interpretations should be encouraged!

no anti/proship discourse.

no AI-generated content.

dark/sensitive works and discussions are to be posted in the “bruised fruits” category so people can easily mute these channels. this includes subjects that may involve non-con, dub-con, incest, gore, suicide, self-harm, eating disorders, and animal abuse. if you encounter an additional subject you’d like to be filtered into this channel, do not hesitate to reach out to a mod.

The server theme is based off of slenderman the arrival and marble hornets — butttt it’s creepypasta oriented. Doesn’t matter if you’re a strict slenderverse fan or a creepypasta fan you guys are all welcome.

MASSIVE thanks to @dragon-storm-of-the-west for helping me so much, and basically setting the entire server up! You’ve been so kind!

This server is just a casual place for people to hang out, talk PLA/Submas, and share artwork, fics, OCs, WIPs, or other things they’ve made!

(There are channels for sharing both PLA/Submas content, as well as content for other fandoms and original stuff too!!)

There is also a channel for me to post updates of my work, so you will know when I post a new fic!

Feeling like a sicky boy…

I cried so much last night I dehydrated myself further than usual and now my heads warm and fuzzy. And I woke up cause my elbow still hurts from when I injured it at the end of may.

But luckily I don’t have anywhere to be today. So I’ll be on here but responses and role-play might now be as Instantaneous or continuous today. Because I’ll have to take breaks or naps.

But I wanna relax and talking with all of you is my favourite part of my day!

Last night was one of the worst panic attacks I’ve had in months. At one point it felt like nobody was fronting in the body and it was so scary. I never want to feel like that again. But luckily I have therapy tomorrow, so I can talk about it then and start feeling mentally better at least!

I’m still working on my new discord server, and adding the bots and channels and making it look all nice and pretty. I’ll send out the links once that’s done. And as far as writing and stuff, I’ve gotta clean out my google drive cause I’m out of storage and don’t have the money to just buy more right now. 😭 but once that’s all reorganised I can organise my thoughts better and start writing again.

I’m also still organising my master lists so I can reread all my stories A) to spark new ideas and B) to remember where I left off or an continuity things I can fix/bring back. Sorry things are moving so slow, that’s the reality of being mentally I’ll and physically disabled. Especially since I waste so much entertainment everyday having to pretend to be able bodied, because you can’t live in a capitalist society without money. Especially not when medical bills cost the way they do.

But hey, at least it’s my birthday month! I’be got tickets to see my favourite musician, I’m gonna be in my first cosplay competition ever, and I’m having a spider-man themed birthday party!! I’ll probably post my birthday Wishlist soon, but obviously NO pressure, I know money is tight for everyone this year. But usually I buy my own gifts but I can’t this year. Just well wishes and getting to talk with all of you will be more than enough.

I love you all so much! 🫀🫀🫀🫀I don’t know if I’ll get back to sleep soon, or be up for a bit. But I figured I’d give an update.
