Astarion can sense Tav is in danger if he is a groom, or sense strong emotions from him. -Tav is not immune to sunlight unless he stays in close range of Astarion. (based on dialogue) -Astarion might be a bit warmer to the touch since he is a living vampire now. He does not have to feed on blood- but Tav still requires blood and is cold to the touch.

Ngl my first reaction to Jaskier being canonically bi was “oh I CANNOT WAIT to see how poorly they handle this”

I swear, ever since the Hemsworthening, I feel like every time I learn something new about this show I'm checking the date, all, is it April Fools again already? Look at the URL, because surely this is a satire site? Is there a camera, am I being punk'd? Am I having a stroke?? Those sure are some words they said in some order!

I made my peace with the Radovid thing -- I went and breathed into a paper bag for a bit, and remembered that everything feels catastrophic when you're running on three hours of sleep, and also that (1) game-Radovid != book-Radovid and (2) LOL, IT'S NOT LIKE TWN IS FAITHFUL TO BOOK-CANON EITHER!

Reading what they've said about it so far, it really sounds like they just made up an OC to ship Jaskier with (probably hoping The Gays would SHUT UP ABOUT GERASKIER, SHUT UP ABOUT GERASKIER) and named him Radovid, and he's going to bear no resemblance whatsoever to any previous Radovids who may have appeared in this franchise.

Which again begs the question of whyyyyyyy did they not just invent a new guy?? Why THIS GUY, of ALL GUYS, to arbitrarily assign as Jaskier's love interest, since it's a pairing with no basis in any canon, a pairing that book-fans met with polite confusion and game-fans met with visceral repulsion.

Even if TWN Radovid winds up being a completely new character, as I expect he will, it's still baffling. The showrunners know that a good portion of their viewer base is coming from the game -- they have been actively courting the Witcher III crowd in their marketing since the get-go -- so even if the only thing the Radovids have in common is their name, why choose to evoke a character with such utterly rancid associations? And then repurpose him as a love interest for Jaskier, of all people? o_O

idek, man.

The curse of knowledge, I suppose -- because if I weren't familiar with game-Radovid, I could be out there partying with all the people who are just like, BI JASKIER CONFIRMED, WOO HOO!! 🎉🎉

With that new character, I loved the idea of them being the same gender as mc cause gay lmao one of the reasons i love from the ashes we rise is cause everything's so gay, it's really hard to get good representation especially on romance IFs cause they mostly feel made for straight women. But that's just how I feel about it :) you said you're pending to letting the player choose the gender and I absolutely respect that, it's your game and I'm gonna play it no matter what you prefer doing, only wanted to give you more points of view lol <3

MAN i had these exact same thoughts about ashes we rise. as soon as i saw it my eyes bugged out of my head and this happens every i see similar concepts THEY'RE SO GOOD there's something so special about ifs made by queer people for queer people..... & tgp was entirely born out of my own queer feelings and desire for a game that would acknowledge if i was playing a f!mc who kissed other women or a m!mc who kissed other men SO. HAHA LOL.

the thing about so many ifs ((and visual novels)) out there feeling like they were made for straight women is so real. quick disclaimer i am not trying to say those games are Bad - all power to the people who create and like that sort of thing!!! it's great!!! i'm just not the target audience because i am neither straight nor a woman lol but i still want to live out my silly little romantic dreams through these kinds of games and sometimes they are so hard to find....

i do want to say that regardless of what i decide to do with v's gender all my characters are very much queer!! including every single background and side character but for the ROs specifically, kallias is pansexual (and trans) and galen is bi [: "gay until proven straight" i always say 👍

i haven't figured out v's sexuality specifically yet but victoryne canonically has a fat crush on f!kallias, valen canonically has an equally fat crush on m!kallias, and vail canonically has an equal-est fat crush on nb!kallias so do with that what you will until then

The Fear of Repeated Disappointment

As I once again fall into my semi regular 911 spiral, I feel my anxiety continuing to rise, which sucks.

I am so scared that a similar thing will happen with 911, at least to some degree, that happened with Supernatural. Supernatural was my comfort show, my underlying obsession, a reassuring constant as new fixations came and went. I used to watch at least my favorite episodes every few months for almost 15 years. I have not watched it since watching the final episode. The way they ended it, invalidating so much love, resilience and struggle in the process hurt so much, I just don't know how to love it again.

I don't think this will happen 100% with 911 because it consistently has WAY fewer problems, and I have WAY more confidence in the writers/producers/etc. There are also so many more areas in which I trust they will end the stories well. AND I know myself well enough to know that if Buddie does not go cannon by the final episode of the show, a part of me will always be sad, disappointed, and upset when I rewatch it.

To me, it has always felt and looked as if Eddie was intended, since his first introduction to be the eventual and final love interest of Buck. (I have endless things to say about this, so hit me up if you are interested!) That being said, I think that up until the last few seasons, there is a strong argument for this just being "seeing what I want to see". NOW however, this no longer feels applicable.

I can no longer see a justification for them loving each other as only friends. I have friends who are more like family, as in, I would not be 100% surprised to be named as the responsible party for their child in the event of their death. I know what this kind of love is, what it looks like and it is NOT how they relate to each other, at least not any more. Both Oliver and Ryan are amazing actors, and have made these changes by choice. From what I know of them they are both good people, and would not knowingly lead on their fans...

It makes me feel torn constantly between optimism and pessimism, between hope and the realities of my experiences, between thinking the world can change, and feeling as if hate and ignorance will always win out.

Because for me, that is what it now comes down to. If one of them was female OR a bi or gay side character instead the two 'straight' leading males THEY WOULD BE END GAME. Without question. Without a doubt. No matter what. So, to me, it has now become a question of if a show on Fox will truly be the first show (at least in my knowledge) to have both of its leading "straight" characters actually fall for each other? I just don't know, and that is what scares me.

Based on my experience, they won't. And yet....they have handled so many stories that I thought they would do a poor job with, and they have done well. They haven't forgot about plot lines that I assumed they would.... I find myself trusting them more then I have with most previous shows, but still.... It just makes me wish I could trust that this world was filled with a little more love, acceptance and freedom...

I really really hope that 911 can do what Supernatural, Merlin, Sherlock and countless others have failed to do. I want it to give me validation, hope, joy. To say I will cry if it actually happens in an understatement. With so many heroes being revealed to be villains recently, it would be something quite spectacular to have 911 actually validate love coming in all different forms, at different times, and in unexpected ways.

K - What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc?

W - A trope which you are virtually certain to hate in any fandom.

B - I don't have a lot for Ace Attorney because most of its ships are very obvious. I did however discover a fondness for the very rarepair Maya Fey/Simon Blackquill after reading a fic about them. She is a spirit medium who is going to become the leader of her village, and is also obsessed with the TV series The Steel Samurai. He is a raging weeaboo and/or British man with Japanese ancestry who wields a spirit katana and wants to be a samurai. They are even the same age! They are absolutely perfect together!

K - Urgh, see, this is the thing that Ace Attorney is very bad at. The games are good at showing 50-75% of a character development arc and then giving up. Like, AA4 is all about Klavier Gavin receiving trauma after trauma, and you'd expect him to need some time to process everything that's happened to him - yet he pops up in AA5 as if nothing has happened at all. Phoenix Wright and Miles Edgeworth both have development, but even then you don't see the trauma being processed. In fact, the way Phoenix flips back to his old self in AA5 ignores all of the changes that happened to him in AA4, and seems false.

I actually think one of the best development arcs I've ever seen in a game/game series is Martin Septim in TES IV: Oblivion. He goes from being the priest of a town attacked by Daedra (TES version of demons) to the Emperor of Tamriel, willing to give his life to stop the Daedric invasion. Each time you return to Cloud Ruler Temple on the main quest, he's a little more resigned to his fate. He goes from giving an awkward speech to the Blades where he says, "I know you all want me to be Emperor, but this is very new to me" to leading a major battle dressed in the Emperor's heavy armor. When did he learn to fight in heavy armor? Before that, he's only worn priest's robes. A lot is happening to him behind the player's back, and it gives him life.

W - I agree with you about hating soulmates and Hanahaki Disease, unless those tropes are subverted. I am quite fond of the idea of "soulmates" which simply means that the person will be very important to you - not necessarily your one and only partner, but perhaps your best friend forever. And I find it interesting when people write Hanahaki Disease as a chronic illness which affects people who love too easily and deeply. I've often felt that I'm a person who does that, and it's brought me emotional pain. Why not have physical pain to go with it?

The tropes I REALLY hate though are "Pair the Spares" and "Everyone is Gay".

Ace Attorney has a juggernaut F/F ship of FranMaya which is Miles Edgeworth's adoptive/foster sister Franziska Von Karma paired with Phoenix Wright's best friend Maya Fey. But there are plenty of other options for both of those women, both F/F and M/F. I feel they get paired together despite their wildly different personalities and interests simply because Phoenix and Miles do, and I really dislike that. I don't even hate the ship! But I LOATHE the idea that they are together BECAUSE of their brother/best friend's relationship.

When the trope is subverted, and FranMaya get together years before WrightWorth, then I like the ship much more. Though I still feel that both characters have plenty of other interesting ships available to them.

"Everyone is Gay" bothers me when it's literally everyone being GAY as in exclusively same-sex relationships. Especially as three characters are about as close to canon bisexual as it's possible to be! Others have strongly headcanoned sexualities which are part of fanon (e.g. Miles Edgeworth being homoromantic demisexual and Kristoph Gavin being aromantic homosexual). But other characters are more flexible, e.g. I've seen Ema Skye written as lesbian, bi, straight, asexual, aromantic and acearo!

By all means, make everyone queer. But recognise that a trans woman might date a man, that a lot of bisexuals end up in relationships with people of different gender, that heteroromantic asexuals are still queer, and that acearo people likely don't want partners at all. And all of that is okay.

I totally understand people's frustration with the lack of Buddie interaction but let me just say one thing. If Kristen really disliked Buddie why open with such a beautiful family scene. The dim lighting, the lasagna, the roasting, the couch metaphor that has been in play since Taylor!!! Where is that couch by the way. Lucy better not being sitting where family game nights were held lol.

But seriously you could have just had Buddie in the locker room with a 3 sentence exchange "end scene".

None of us can promise they will be Canon but if I had my doubts it's not because of the beginning of the season. If I am actually being really honest if you asked me in S3 which one could have been gay I would have guessed Buck. Baby me then would never had guessed that in S6 I was more sure Eddie Diaz was queer and Buck may not be TBH. I only had that thought back then because that was actually my worst fear if they didn't go Canon. That one of them would end up with a man and the other with a women. I should probably see a therapist about that!!!

Yes, I fully agree. I was going to mention in this ask reply the lasagna scene as something that says that 911 obviously wants us to know they have not forgotten about Buddifer or are ignoring it, but I had so much to say, I ended up forgetting that bit, so thank you for adding it in! And you phrased it so well, too. Everything about that scene was very deliberate.

And yes, I’ve said it time and again, I can’t know that Buddie will go canon, I’m just out here, hoping for it and explaining why, based on the story as it’s been told so far, I can’t see another other satisfactory resolution for either Buck or Eddie (or for that matter, even Chris in terms of getting both of the people he sees at a certain point as his parents under one roof, as we’ve seen is his secret wish in 210).

As for Buck, I’ve always thought he oozed bi energy since 107 and his bonding with the gay vic. That was only reinforced along the way, and now we have stuff like Buck casually quoting gay anthems to Eddie like it’s nothing. I’m sorry, no matter who his partners end up being canonically by the time the show is over, there is no way that boy is straight. IDK if that helps you, but that is the one thing I will insist on. Queer Buck is real and deserves all the love.

In my opinion she's separating them cause she has no intention of doing buddie canon, but not to stop us from since she knows it's impossibile, but I think she's afraid of being accused of queerbaiting again from journalists. I mean she brought back Carla after 20 episodes to avoid buck being there, not to the dance, but just helping chris dress, and that scene with buck hen and denny? Like see he hangs out with all the 118 kids

I don’t think she wants to stop us from shipping Buddie, she has stuff to gain from us shipping (Keeps the current viewership and gets a very active fandom that through online content is bringing in new viewers even during s6), and she can lose things if we stop shipping (she’s lose viewers, she’ll lose the active online fandom, and those fans who get frustrated and give up? They’ll accuse her of queerbaiting for sure). And yes, I do believe the 601 scene is a sign that’s not the direction Kristen means to follow. Am I right? We’ll get a better idea once 6b airs. Last season, 5b made it clear that the distance in 5a was not meant to tear Buddie apart, so I tend to believe that’s what we’ll have this year, too. But if s6 wraps up without Buddie coming back together, then I guess we’ll have an answer (not necessarily a definitive one. I've said before that you can’t judge a show on the issue of queerbaiting until it’s off the air, ‘coz as long as it’s on, the execs can always choose to change direction and make the same sex ship happen. This would be especially true in the case of 911, if Tim decides to step back in and change the course Kristen set).

Hey! So I know you talked about this thing a lot but there's something that I don't understand about what kristen said about exploring other dynamics. What I don't understand is that yes we had some more hen/buck and chim/eddie scenes, but the only dynamic that was pratically absent from 6a was just buddie, we still got some hen/chim scenes. And while i get don't make them talk about the donor for now, I think they could still make some space for some buddie scenes, what do you think?

Hi Nonnie! You’re right, we did get some Hen & Chim. But TBH, Hen & Buck isn’t that new either, we just got a bit more of it than in previous seasons. Neither is Eddie & Carla that new. Carla was used in the past as well when they needed some stuff to happen away from Buck, like in 312 when it absolutely could NOT be Buck there when Eddie first meets Ana or you know our moron Diaz boy wouldn’t have even looked at her. And Carla was also used in 510, so that when Eddie announces he’s leaving, it came as a shock to Buck. None of that kept Buddie from being intense and domestic and there for each other in the long run. And the Chim & Eddie stuff we got this season was hardly substantial. It’s not like it feels as if these two are suddenly each other’s new besties. I think Kristen does wanna keep Buddie apart for a bit, and she uses other dynamics to solidify the sense of A TEAM, while also preparing us for Buddie coming back together in 6b. I could be wrong, of course, as I told the previous Nonnie! But that’s how the story telling so far this season feels to me. And I also wouldn’t take any interviews too seriously. Cast and show runners alike, when they do PR for their show, they have one job: to get you to keep watching. So they will say whatever they think will do that. If Kristen doesn’t wanna reveal her real 6b plans, but she does want us to be patient and wait for Buddie’s return in 6b, and she thinks that will best be served by saying she’s just exploring new dynamics, then that’s what she’ll say, whether it’s accurate or not.

22. Give us a headcanon for [character]

hm. good question. i know i have laios headcanons but most of them are pretty mild, i think? so they kind of blend into my understanding of his character on the whole.

oh, but, i'm very fond of him being gay. i think that's become my default even though i'll explore him being bi or pan in some instances as well. i just really like the idea of there being yet another layer to his inability to fit in with the world--he doesn't want what he's supposed to want, no matter how you dice it. he doesn't want to be the village chief, he doesn't want to be a soldier, and he doesn't want a wife. he doesn't even really know why; the feelings he's told he's supposed to feel about girls aren't even the ones he feels about boys, so it's hard to connect the dots.

the "hubby hunter" who almost tore the party apart bounced off of him for a multitude of reasons (like the autism), but a complete and utter lack of interest was also at play.

"but tox, what about when he compliments zon's wives so much that zon almost kills him?" zon would absolutely kill him extra dead if he knew laios was rating them aesthetically. like show animals. laios really likes animals this is how he engages with the world

23. Has your favourite character/ship changed over time?

yes and no... i knew from the outset that i'd be obsessed with chilchuck. because devot and i were getting into dunmeshi together, i was looking at it through a lens of us roleplaying together, and laios seemed so much His Type that i figured things would work out that way. but they didn't! chilchuck was and is his fave. so, because i already liked them both and i wanted this to be fun for both of us, i pivoted to paying more careful attention to laios. eventually though i realized that laios can be my muse and my icon and all that other fun stuff but not be my only favorite. chilchuck can be my favorite too! they're very neatly tied, i love them both.

as for ship... no. i saw some chilaios art back in january and immediately knew if i ever got into the media, that'd be My Ship. one of me and devot's OC ships follows similar patterns and i recognized it in them right away; it's a dynamic i go nuts for. that said, i had no real intentions so get into it, because new media is hard for me and i didn't want to make the effort for something i knew nothing about.

but as the anime started airing, the fandom posts got more frequent. every time i saw chilchuck and laios, i knew i'd be doomed, and sharing them with devot made him agree that he'd also love them. there were 5 episodes out when i finally realized the anime was brand new, and that felt way easier to get into than something more established, so we started looking into it. the week episode 9 came out was when we finally started watching.

and i knew from the moment the bastards started interacting with each other that i was a fucking goner. not only did chilchuck make me insane and not only was laios extremely endearing, but their interactions were the exact sort of dynamic i loved, just like i thought. so it was chilaios from day one and continued to be chilaios.

i did gain others, of course. kabumisu was a surprise. but i am chilaiospilled through and through 😔

Welcome to a very special entry in our Developer Story series! While previous editions have featured a single subject, in the wake of Pride Month in June, we invited some of our LGBTQIA+ colleagues to talk about what the studio and its games mean to them as queer folks. So please allow us to introduce you to Technical Product manager Lina Anderson, Technical Animator Samantha Wald, Programmer Rachel Hammond, and Cinematic Designer Mikayla Stock, who were all kind enough to share their personal histories with us.

How did you end up at BioWare?

RACHEL: Game development was something I’ve wanted to do my entire life, from when I first played with our family’s Atari and NES and on through all my childhood. By the time I got to college, I’d fallen in love with programming as well, so I joined my campus’ Game Developer Association, where I made friends and contacts who helped me land my first job in the industry a bit over 15 years ago. I worked with a few smaller companies before getting my job with BioWare 11 years ago, and I’ve been here ever since.

SAMANTHA: My path into the industry was a lot less direct! I studied broadcasting in college to get into video editing, but I eventually started rendering graphics in 3D. I was instantly hooked, and I started doing rigging for animated shows and films. But I had always been a huge gamer, and about three years ago, I realized my skills would transfer perfectly to technical animation. BioWare has always been one of my favorite studios, and I was so excited when I got the offer to come work here six months ago!

MIKAYLA: I’m relatively new to the games industry, too; I got my start working on 2D educational kids’ games after graduating with a degree in animation. I‘ve been with BioWare for a little over a year now, working on Star Wars™: The Old Republic.

LINA: BioWare is actually my first experience in the games industry, but I’ve been here for over five and a half years. I had dreamed about working in games since I was a kid and was really surprised to get in on my first attempt!

How have BioWare games impacted you as a queer person?

SAMANTHA: As a trans woman, I spent a large majority of my life being uncomfortable with who I am and how I’m perceived by society. Before I transitioned, games were always an outlet for me to feel comfortable and explore my identity; BioWare games in particular gave me that in a completely supportive, non-judgmental space, and I really don’t think I’d be where I am today without them.

LINA: Agreed. Both Mass Effect and Dragon Age were instrumental in helping me rediscover myself. I’d repressed so much over the years, and building characters that reflected aspects of me that I’d been hiding allowed me to safely explore these thoughts and feelings. I found I was able to talk about things I’d previously kept bottled up, using my characters and companions as proxies—something that I wasn’t yet comfortable enough to do on my own. Nobody batted an eye when I talked about Lady Shepard having a fling with Garrus!

MIKAYLA: I also found BioWare games—specifically the Dragon Age games, for me—at a time when I was still kind of figuring out who I was. I was fortunate enough to be raised in an open-minded household, but it’s always different being told something’s okay versus seeing it on screen in front of you, presented as being completely normal, you know?

RACHEL: Yes! Watching them start pushing for more inclusion years ago, allowing gay and bi romance options, that was a real help for me at the time. But even outside of my direct personal experience, it was so good to see that inclusion spreading through the industry.

Why do you think BioWare games resonate so well with queer players?

SAMANTHA: BioWare games have always been about playing your character however you want, so I think it’s exceptionally easy for players to insert themselves into the main character. And since queer folks have had so little representation in the past, BioWare games are likely to be the first place a lot of folks are able to see themselves reflected in media.

MIKAYLA: Right, they provide a space for players to explore their identities. There are so many well-rounded characters that it’s hard not to find a couple that resonate with you, and watching the story of a character you deeply connect with play out can be incredibly cathartic. And it’s about not being afraid to tell LGBTQIA+ stories!

RACHEL: Yes—games that try to be more open and attentive towards queer identities definitely help us find ourselves in them. But they help other people see us too; the benefit doesn’t stop simply with our firsthand experience. It also helps normalize queer identities for other players, letting others know we’re real, we’re normal, we’re part of the industry.

LINA: And the thing for me is that the games don’t just have a couple queer characters you can run into, and then you’re off shooting aliens again. These are characters that we grow with through the series, form bonds with, and can choose to be close to.

Do you think BioWare games have made an impact on the way the industry approaches LGBTQIA+ topics?

MIKAYLA: I think any exposure to LGBTQIA+ topics in games is a step towards normalizing them in the industry, and BioWare’s decision not to shy away from telling those stories, but to embrace them, was a welcome breath of fresh air.

SAMANTHA: And I think that’s really led the way in de-stigmatizing queer relationships in games. By being this inclusive in games that are both successful and popular, they made it clear that queer representation is not a detriment, but actually a positive and something a lot of players are hungry for.

LINA: Yeah, I remember seeing the original Mass Effect making waves for having a same-sex romance option. It was absolutely the first major game I was aware of where this was a thing at all, and I think that by showing you could have a gay romance between a human and an alien and not have retailers refuse to stock your games, that may have opened some eyes and made it an easier pitch.

RACHEL: That’s exactly it. The way BioWare handled inclusion rippled through the industry, leading to other studios leaning into that content, which meant that even more games were comfortable with it. It helped move everyone forward.

Do you feel like BioWare sees and supports its queer employees?

SAMANTHA: To me, the biggest thing I see BioWare doing to support queer employees has been to empower them! I have never seen so many queer people in senior leadership positions as I have in my time here.

MIKAYLA: Everyone I’ve had the pleasure of working with has been nothing but kind and accepting, and I’ve never felt the need to be anything but myself. That fosters such a great sense of communication and community. I don’t feel like I’m living inside a vacuum while I’m working; the rest of the world still exists and its impact on employees is not taken lightly.

RACHEL: I’ve been with BioWare for more than a decade at this point, and I’ve only seen the support for our LGBTQIA+ staff grow. There have been some missteps along the way, sure, but the most important thing I’ve seen is that people are eager to listen, learn, and do better. I’ve seen a great amount of work put in to ensure that happens in every circumstance. When I started here, I was not out to anyone about being trans. I had transitioned years ago but I was afraid to tell anyone. But in my time here I was given the confidence I needed to come out again, on my terms. So many other workplaces I’ve been at pushed me back into the closet, but BioWare helped me actually feel free to express my whole self.

LINA: Oh, absolutely. If I wasn’t in a place like BioWare, I probably still wouldn’t be out. Coming out as trans was terrifying in general, but knowing my manager and leadership were there for me as I announced who I really was made all the difference.

I recently discovered @grandadtwelve 's wacky polycule au and it inspired me to make up a slightly weirder au cus that's what I do best

I'm gonna include twissfle and osgate cus all of them are objectively hot as fuck

Also be warned this is mostly just gonna be me projecting my depression onto all of these characters (but mostly clara, osgood and kate)

So in this 12 clara and missy are all dating and osgood and kate are secretly dating

In this clara is chronically depressed and vapes to cope

Shes basically the depressed friend who always has dark circles under their eyes and is fucking hilarious

Shes also luciferian cus why not lol

Bill is here too

Bill is a poor college student who's Clara's gay bff

Who am I kidding nobody in this au is straight

I may as well just list them

Clara - bi and she/they gender questioning, possibly genderfluid

12 - he/they agender, pan and demisexual

Missy - she/her pansexual

Kate - she/her bi (leaning more towards women)

When I said nobody was straight I mean it

So in this au missy is less, well, abusive to clara since obviously they love each other

And I think shed empathize a lot with Clara's struggle with depression

I'll expand on Clara's depression a bit more but itll include mentions of sh so I'll put that in another post with a warning

Missy still teases obviously but shell occasionally "check in" on clara in subtle ways

12 is his usual self, completely clueless when it comes to affection and just a general goofball

As for osgate, kate canonically has 2 sons, Gordon or Gordy (19) and Harry (they dont actually have a canon name so I'm giving them one) (15)

Given that osgood has been dating kate for about a year she found it much easier to adapt to parenthood with already grown kids, she doesnt know if shed be able to handle young kids lol

Kate and osgood are huge movie buffs and love watching and critiquing movies/tv shows together

Their favorite show is breaking bad cus of course it is lol

Osgood is autistic and one of their hyper fixations is on minecraft but specifically advanced redstone engineering

One of the biggest ways she bonds with the kids was thru gaming

Shes a pretty serious gamer too lol

Shes played skyrim, oblivion, fallout 4 and new Vegas, GTA 5, most of the doom games including the classics, smash bros (which she loves playing with the kids), overwatch, and a shitload more

Being a technician she naturally has a super advanced pc setup which is duelly a gaming setup

She built Harry and Gordy's pcs with them and it spawned some of their favorite memories together

Back to talking twissfle, Missy will occasionally let harry and Gordy take a ride in her tardis as a treat

Clara always makes sure to supervise for obvious reasons

Clara is like the cool aunt that always has a cigarette (or in this case a vape) in her mouth and will let Harry have a sip of her wine when the parents arent looking

Family movie recommendations but hey have LGBT in them

I might as well make this post before I forget, and even though I'm straight, I still support LGBT. I just ended up falling in love with a man, but that doesn't take away the fact that I will support anyone who gay, lesbian, bi, ect... Just love who you want to love. I'm also a Christian and I know that people think Christians don't support LGBT but a lot of us do, we believe that Jesus wants us to support everyone and love everyone, and not hate them for a stupid decision. As a straight person, you might think I might not be the bets person to pick out nice LGBT family movies and maybe I'm not, but I am an expert when it comes to underrated family and kids movies. My best friend is bi and she has most of the same feelings about these movies as I do. When Disney tries to be "inclusive" and supportive, they either sneak a gay kiss in the background, or make a big deal out of it. Got news for ya, none of these movies on the lists are Disney!

Early Man (It looks like the villain has a boyfriend. Dino is his assistant, while he has another man named Stefano, come and rub his back while he's in the bathtub. There's a gay kiss scene with two cavemen in the background after they win the soccer game and there's also a gay kiss scene with Dug and Hognob, but Hognob's a pig.)

One Stormy Night (Okay, I don't think Mei and Gabu are gay, but Zack and Beach probably are. The author of the books didn't flat out confirm this, but he doesn't care if people used their imagination and made any of the characters gay. I feel like Zack & Beach are either gay, or just really close friends. They're not confirmed to be though)

Duck Duck Goose (The two cranes are actually confirmed to be gay. Though they maybe minor characters, they're adorable and funny. Duck Duck Goose is also an unforgettable movie with great characters. The story focuses more on family and a goose learning to make the right decision and help ducklings, so anyone can enjoy it)

These next ones are technically SHOWS, NOT MOVIES!

George and Martha (It's a cartoon that focuses on two hippos, a guy and girl, but they have two male alligator friends who are confirmed to be gay... and this was a 90s cartoon! This is the oldest one on the list, it's like from '97 or something. And before you go on judging it for being a 90s cartoon, it's not like Rockos modern life or PPG, it's way more kidlike than those. It's not filled with a ton of dirty jokes or anything. The two alligators are named Oscar and Wild and the have a puppy who George and Martha babysit, in an episode, and both alligators refer to themselves as "Daddy" to the puppy, meaning that they're both fathers to the puppy. Pretty woke for a 90s cartoon, eh? The show was based off a book series and no one ever heard of it because it aired on the Qubo channel and even though I had cable, I was one of those lucky ducks who got to watch Qubo.) I'm an American btw, idk if people outside of the U.S heard if it either

ToddWorld (Okay, yeah, they showed gay lions in the background but it's still a little bit of representation and it's explained to little kids in a nice way so that they can learn to accept it later on. I mean, it's not explained in a way that they won't understand. I also heard they mention it in the books saying "Some families have two mommies or two daddies" or something, but I never read the book, I just heard someone on Instagram mention it).

Even if you're not in the LGBT community, these are still amazing movies! You can still watch them. Again, I am NOT apart of the LGBT community, but I still support it. If you ever heard of any of these movies or shows, tell me about how you feel about them. Which ones surprised you the most, probably the 90s one, huh? It surprised me too. So I binged blood origin... (spoilers ahead)

Jaskier's new song is chefs kiss 👌👌 (but it's not bear mccreary's which is a shame)

The show was... meh? For me it was really hard to care about any of the characters because there were so many of them and only four episodes.

They introduced a bard whose nickname is the Lark?? Are you kidding me netflix?? Eile was really cool though (and sophia brown is gorgeous) even thought at times she was a bit much (like the speech to the crowd who started singing her song like she's the mockingjay)

Couldn't care less about any of the other characters except the gay dwarf lady with the hammer and michelle yeoh

Especially didn't give a fuck about any of the elves in ye olde cintra

Can't believe that they finally allowed gay people on the continent and jaskier still hasn't kissed any men (also it's really funny that the only queer characters are an evil empire dude who apparently is the antagonist in the games and of course a woman with a dead lover)

Canon bi jaskier tho? (as if it wasn't obvious - the man wrote multiple love/break-up songs about geralt)

Creating the first witcher seemed too easy but it ended rather poorly so maybe they should have spent more than a night making him

The romance... eh insta love and of course she got pregnant after shagging once (also wasn't he already a witcher? And thus infertile?? Am I insane? Did the writers forget that rather important bit of lore?) (also I am so sorry but the scene when he turned into a monster and she brought him back with the power of love... the hulk and natasha and the sun is going down)

It was very obvious that scian didn't betray them and planned the new hope esque pretending to deliver a prisoner plan

I have no idea that the empress lady wanted to achieve. Suddenly everyone was starving and they wanted to find resources on other planes instead of just planting food? She wanted to conquer unknown worlds by sending there like six soldiers?? I get killing your brother who wants to sell you to the highest bidder but i don't know her other motivations.

Also the elves were really just humans with pointy ears? And maybe there is something to say about the fact that they built their empire on dwarven bones and humans did the same with elves but i wish the elves were more... alien? Their architecture, clothes, culture, anything really. They were too similar to humans.

(Is the shitty mage who failed to open the portal shakespeare in the sandman?? it was driving me crazy from the moment he showed up)

The moment any show introduces time travel out of nowhere it goes to shit so good luck to the witcher universe

Also because of how it was shot half of the audience now thinks that jaskier is the person who is descendant from eile and fjall... god knows I want immortal jaskier but it's rather obvious that it's ciri who's supposed to end the song or whatever they were talking about
