i just spent over an hour changing four piercings. the balls wouldn’t come off. it took a sheet of rubber and two pairs of pliers and a lesson in lefty loosie righty tighty. two of them finally let go and things were good. i have a tragus piercing. that bitch had it out for me. spent fifteen minutes unscrewing it then when i did it had the audacity to bleed?? i put some jewelry in. it looked ugly. i put a different kind in. it also looked ugly. i put in a hoop. i took out the hoop. i was mere seconds away from letting my $60 piercing grow over before my beloved mother lent a helping hand and we mutually decided on one piece of jewelry. but dear lord did we not spent twenty minutes trying to screw the back onto that thing. not to mention the fact that i will never be able to get a headphone into that ear ever again. i have to say goodbye to bohemian rhapsody. i have to bid good riddance to california dreamin’. i will never fully experience music again. then? i changed my septum piercing. she’s new to the family, much like the others, but she healed beautifully and was so kind to me when she came out. do you think i could find the hole when i went to put the new one in??? the time spent jabbing aimlessly inside of my nose is time that i will never get back. i did eventually find it, though. i am content now. but i will be holding a grudge. if it hurts when i try to sleep on them tonight i will be screaming directly in the ears of all the gods i don’t believe in to beg for peace.

I drew on a bunch of different facial piercings this morning, just to like try it out. When I tell you I experienced ✨Gender Euphoria✨ for the first time!

Who knew all I needed to not hate my face was a little bit of metal 😂 now at least I kind of have an idea for what I want. But I feel so pretty this morning it’s not even funny. I’m also kinda wanting to get my eye scar traced over as a tat. I usually draw it back on when I do makeup, cause I think it makes my face more interesting.

But I know with tattoo etiquette you have to get other visible tattoo first before the face. Even if it’s something subtle, most artists won’t do it. So I guess I have to start planning more tats lol.

I’m SO happy with my new piercings!!!! Been putting off major facial pieces for some time, but I feel like it’s all coming together now.

Larissa from Industrial Strength (Sydney Newtown area) is SUCH a legend for putting up with my ever-changing ideas and impatience (if I could I’d be coming back for 3 at once every couple of weeks 😅).

I have full trust in her judgement and immense appreciation for all that she does to make each session as calming and painless as possible.

I’m really looking forward to upgrading the whole lot of these and going back to adding to my ears. There’s just so much I want to do!!! Screaming at my body to heal quicker 😩
