Imagine you live in pelican town. The new farmer has been here a couple weeks now and seems to be settling in, except... He's picking the weirdest friend choices. Like sure it's not weird to befriend the local fisherman, especially when he has an interest in fishing himself, but you're pretty sure you've seen him rooting through the Saloon's garbage with the local homeless man. As well, he keeps harassing the poor guy who works at Joja even though you KNOW he doesn't want to be friends with him.
And since you're on the topic of weirdness, isn't it odd he seemingly runs everywhere at a full sprint? Or just... Eats entire raw fish while fishing for "energy reasons"...
...
Despite all that, it's too early to call him off putting or anything... He has been engaging in town traditions, and he's started helping out with the old community centre. He's probably like the rest of you. Someone with a few quirks, that will fit in with the valley great!
Surely he can't get any weirder... Right?

Watkins Glenns State Park
When you say New York, most people think about Manhattan, New York City, the Liberty Statue, or the Niagara Falls. But, there is much more than that, like the beautiful Long Island. Personally, I find more worth it the landscape scenery, the small towns, walking in nature than just a regular day in the city.
All the way up in Upstate New York, we can find the finger lakes, including this State park called Watkins Glenns. An overall easy hike in the gorge with beautiful waterfalls. The Trail to the gorge can be too narrow for wheelchairs, also you will also find some stairs. The most challenging thing you will find in the State Park will be the stairs and they are not bad at all.

the thing about knightfall is. I've seen bruce-batman do shit that violent and that cruel to random perps before let alone the truly dangerous rogues. and not only in other media but ALSO in mainline comics (some mainline comics older than this even) so. I acknowledge jean paul-batman is presented as soooo much worse and sooooo unhinged immediately after putting on the cowl, even before he does anything really drastic, but also uh. it does require suspending my disbelief a little bit that everyone is SO SHOCKED about how UN-BRUCE-LIKE he's acting. I can do it! but part of me is like....... fam I'm not buying this.

A tentative deal has been reached between transit workers in the Comox Valley and Campbell River and their employer, potentially bringing an end to a month-long strike. Just over 70 workers employed by Pacific Western (PW) Transit on central Vancouver Island walked off the job on Dec. 15, calling for wage parity with transit workers in other parts of the province. PW Transit operates bus services in the region and is contracted by B.C. Transit, the provincial agency responsible for local transportation outside Metro Vancouver. In a short statement on Thursday, the employer said it had reached an agreement with Unifor Local 114's bargaining committee. "The date for ratification is still to be determined," the statement read. "If all goes well, details on when the public can expect transit services to resume will be announced next week."

Almost 200 years since the first mill strike in the United States, which took place in my ancestral hometown of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, in 1824:
In late May 1824, a group of Pawtucket mill owners decided to make some drastic changes. Citing a “general depression,” they announced a plan to extend the workday by an hour, reduce the worker’s mealtime, and cut wages by 25%.
Workers in town did not accept these new conditions. About one hundred women walked out of the mills, causing them to shut down. From May 26th to June 3rd, 1824, a large number of additional textiles workers joined them in going on strike.
It was specifically women workers who were targeted by the mill owners, who claimed they made what was "'generally considered to be extravagant wages for young women.' The owners believed the young women would passively accept such wage decreases." The Pawtucket Mill Strike would inspire other working class uprisings such as Rhode Island's Dorr Rebellion.
