This was my second beer from them thanks to my friend @hopscartel. This was a really different beer for me. I have never had such a beer, though unfiltered and raw the taste was probably not what I expected. This was definitely better than the one I had previously and was super malty in taste. An American pale ale bittered, flavored, and dry hopped exclusively with Mosaic hops—a Simcoe offspring—you'll find mango, lemon, citrus, earthy pine, tropical fruit, herbal and stone fruit characteristics. Nose is nice , tropical as you would expect with mosaic. Taste has notes of grass, onion, citrus rind, various tropical fruits and a little spice. soft mouth with dry balanced finish. Drinkable yet complex and refined . BONDTOBERFEST #22 SKYFALL aka The One That's Home Alone Open up with a car chase into a rooftop motorcycle chase into a train top chase and fight with an assist from a digger which leads to Bond getting accidentally shot off the train, falling off a bridge into a river, then going over a waterfall. Somehow he survives, and goes into hiding, assumed dead. MI6 is attached by terrorists, prompting his return. Javier Bardem is the baddie, a former agent out for revenge on M for giving him up. He tries to drop a subway train on Bond. He and M go to hideout at his old home in Scotland, Skyfall. They Home Alone the henchmen with booby traps and Javier shows up in a helicopter, blows up the house and car and takes out M before Bond finally gets him. This movie is way too long. Favorite moment was the scorpion hand drinking game (pictured). Beer for this one is a collab between lager hype brewery Schilling and Deciduous from Maine. Was expecting a killer Festbier but something almost seemed off with this one, a weird bitterness and astringency here, throwing this one way off. Serious disappointment. This entire DUE series is amazing. My personal ranking is : 1. Due South & Due East 2. Due West 3. Due North This beer was brewed with Citra & Cashmere hops. One can easily get notes of Orange, but this was mainly a mango bomb to me for some reason I dont know yet. I have had Due North , Due West & Due South before, and Due South is one of my fav beer, I still have a can which I am not sharing… haha But the good part about this one was that as it started getting warm flavors start to show up on the pallet. At one time I was like oh this is just sooo Juicy, am I having an orange juice? Epic Shit. I cant even stress enough on how many good IPAs I have had through Vitamin Sea. With this I could even complete my personal Vitamin Sea Compass. Super Crisp, Super Fresh. Highly drinkable.
