18.8.2020
From the moment I woke up until 5:00 p.m. I was studying the introduction to my physics book to fill some of my gaps from last year.
After three coffees and no food I was exhausted. Mama needed some beach, so I tagged along with my sisters to krioneri beach and I chilled on my towel, reading "the trial" by Franz Kafka.

Write the Words; Write the Intro
Tumblr media
Hi, everyone!  I’m Wander and I’m new to the BuJoBlr / LangBlr / StudyBlr communities so I figured I’d introduce myself now that I’m all setup and posting things regularly.
ABOUT ME
Non-Binary / Genderfluid
Singular They / Them Pronouns
Super Senior at SFSU; B.A. by May
Creative Writing / Music Double-Major
Considering, but Undecided on Grad School
ADHD Hobbit, Ravenclaw w/ Slytherin Tendancies, Introvert, INFP
C-PTSD, Chronic Depression, & Social Anxiety Diagnosed
Nomby to a Rescue Shih-Tzu named Frodo
THE WHY
Why a BuJoBlr?
Because I have ADHD so it’s difficult to get / stay organized.
Because I used to love to draw & I’d like to get back into it.
Because my brain doesn’t work like most other peoples’ in such a way that it makes ordinary organizational options unworkable for me.
Why a LangBlr?
Because mi madre forbade me and mi hermanos from learning Spanish when we were young.
Because mi abuela is getting close to the age her parents were when they passed & she sometimes forgets I only understand a little Spanish.
Because I’m learning a language on the older side & I can use all the help I can get.
Why a StudyBlr?
Because I need help with motivation.
Because I’m in my final two semesters of school, I’m tired, I’m a little burnt out, organization isn’t my strong point, & I don’t want to blow it.
Because I’m a first generation college student in my family & the only one who values education in any form, making this an unusually lonesome journey & I need to reach out before I sink.
Because I need some accountability now that burnout is a thing.
FALL ‘19 CLASSES
Beginning Running (1 Credit; Activity-Based)
Modern Musicianship (3 Credits; Theory Class)
Thought & Image: Images of Otherness (3 Credits; Humanities Class)
Professional Editing (3 Credits; English Class; Online)
Business of Acting (3 Credits; Theatre Class; Counts Towards Music Major; Online)
OTHER INTERESTS
I adore cute animals; some of my faves include axolotls, dogs, foxes, owls, and stingrays.  I may post these when I feel I need a cute thing in my life that day.
I’m a huge ocean & outer space geek, & can often get lost in a google search or while sketching one or both of these subjects.
I love singing, reading, writing, going on adventures, travelling (though I get to do very little of this one), watching movies, and making themed playlists with descriptive names (my most recent being Le Cirque Macabre).
I practice yoga & HIIT, I’m new to long-distance running (ZombiesRUN! FTW), & I love dancing & swimming when I can get to a studio or a pool. (FitBlr likely to come later...)
I watch way too much T.V. & YouTube.
I play too many hours of videogames: faves include Hollow Knight & Hob.
Once I master Spanish, I very much want to learn Gaelic & Welsh because I think they’re lovely.  ♥

New To Langblr! Introduction...
Hey all! Nice to meet you guys! So I better tell you a bit about myself :)
I’m a 25 year old who is totally in love with studying languages. At the moment I am studying Korean, a little bit of Mandarin and British sign language.
My dream is to one day become a subtitler or a literary translator.
My native language is English but to be honest most days I can’t even speak that properly so what hope do I have trying to learn all the languages! :)
This is a langblr set up to help motivate myself to study Korean and hopefully become a better speaker of the language. If I make any mistakes (and trust me there will be a few...) please feel free to let me know.
Also If you have any questions for me feel free to ask away!

안녕하세!
Hello!
My name is Maddie and this is my langblr:)
I’ve been learning korean for about 3 months now and wanted to make a blog to reach out to other korean learners!
Little bit about me: I’m a second year college student studying history education and esl education, I’m American, and I want to learn korean because it’s one of the hardest language for English speakers to learn(and I like a challenge). I also have a general love for learning about other cultures, I hope to learn multiple languages in the future!!
If any of that sounds remotely interesting, give me a follow! Promise I won’t disappoint❣️

Langblr Intro
Who??
Hi! My name’s May. I'm a Muslim teen that enjoys, reading, drawing, video games, and of course learning new languages!
The Plan
My current target languages are Arabic and Spanish. Arabic being my priority.  I’ve been learning Arabic on and off for a long time and struggling with it. I'm really hoping this blog can help me stay consistent with it. I just recently started studying Spanish, and I’m also going to be taking it at school when it starts up again.
Some languages that I’d like to explore in the future are: ASL, Persian, Japanese, and Somali.
What’s the dealio?
So I initially had a side blog where I reblogged vocab lists and such, but now I've decided that I want to make a new blog to start fresh. I want to post some original content and participate in challenges. I think that if I participate in a challenge where a have to post consistently it will help keep me motivated!

Hello Again
I’ve had a langblr for a WHILE, but I just decided to make it my primary blog and make it a little more organized. In the spirit of organization, here’s a little about me.
My name in Bird or Birdie and I’m a student at the University of Texas. I am studying four languages formally at school and am at a B2-C1 in all of these:
Spanish, German, Arabic and Swahili.
I speak French and English well enough to take college classes taught in them, but my native language is actually Spanish.
I am attempting to learn Russian, Hindi/Urdu, and Turkish on my own, and I have studied Kinyarwanda in the past.
I am looking for langblrs in ALL THESE LANGUAGES.
Please reblog this and I will check you out! I’m so excited to be back!
BTW yes I do make content- just gimme a sec.

hey!! i love your blog, especially because we're both fluent in spanish + english and we're both learning french! (my other two focus languages are russian and japanese though) anyways, do you have any advice for a new langblr? i just made this blog yesterday and i made my first vocab post but i'm not sure how to get followers or how to get people to see my post(s). thank you!!!
hola!!
first of all welcome to the langblr community :) since ur first starting out u can write an introduction post u can talk abt ur native and target languages and add some facts about urself. a lot of people tag langblrs they like or look up to and those langblrs will usually reblog the post and boost it (at least thats what i do lmao). also, follow people who have the same target languages as u and interact with them. what i really love abt this community is that most people here are very nice and friendly
as for getting ur post noticed, use hashtags like #langblr #polyglot #languages #newlangblr #russian #japanese #french so people around the community can see it. also i’ve noticed that posting frequently can be a good way of people seeing ur posts
remember that ur follower count isnt whats important, learning new things and advancing in ur target languages is. also just have fun we’re all in the same struggle here so we get it hahah

New Langblr
Hi everybody! I decided to start a new Langblr (named committedlangblr in the hopes that it will motivate me) to document my language learning journey.
My native language is English and I’m currently taking classes in Swahili. I’m planning on taking a placement test for Swahili soon, but I would guess I’m in the early stages of being an intermediate speaker. If anyone is interested in learning Swahili (which you should, it’s spoken widely in East Africa!) please feel free to message me.
Since I’m taking Swahili in an actually class and becoming more and more comfortable with it, though I’m far from fluent, I’ve decided to start teaching myself another language. Since I watch kdramas and want to start listening to Koop, I’ve decided that language should be Korean.
My lifetime language goal is to be fluent in 4 or 5 languages. I’ve got one down and a few more to go. I want to be fluent in Swahili, Korean, and a European language, probably French or Italian. Being fluent in more would be amazing but I want to take it relatively slow.
Good luck with your languages and please wish me luck with mine!
