Community news feed and birthdays list
Hey folks! We're trying out something new on the Ukagaka Dream Team Wiki. First of all, the community news feed!
This news feed is maintained by members of the Ukagaka Dream Team community, and will be used to make note of new releases, updates, and more! If you want to see what's new in the community, this is a great place to look, since we can aggregate news from Tumblr, our Discord server, and more.
Note that each of these listings has a link to the original announcement post! Just click on the date of the post, and it should take you to see the announcement in full, wherever it is hosted. Note that since some of these announcements are only ever made on our Discord server, some of them are Discord links which will only work if you're in the server.
Secondly, the birthdays list!
This list makes note of all the different ghosts/etc. that were released on the current day, in this year or any previous years! So on October 23rd, this list will show everything that has ever been released on October 23rd.
There are a lot of days that don't have anything to show yet, but there are also plenty of days that have had multiple releases across multiple years!
It's sort of an interesting bit of trivia, and if you're bored and looking for something to explore, maybe something there will catch your fancy. Or, if you're a developer, maybe seeing that there's an empty day to claim will spur you to finish up a project!
Check out both feeds on the Ukagaka Dream Team Wiki's homepage!
A couple of final notes:
The times used on these feeds are in UTC. You can see what day the wiki thinks it is by the text in the birthdays list. Note that there is other data on the wiki which is not yet in UTC, but this is something we're working on correcting. So, there may be some minor discrepancies for now.
These lists are also not currently open for anyone to edit, since they affect the front page and are therefore susceptible to spam. They are maintained by trusted editors.
And finally, these only list the ghosts/etc. that we cover on the wiki! So it will be ghosts/etc. in English, and ghosts/etc. of any language that are made by members of the UDT community. You won't see birthdays listed here for classic ukagaka, and such.
That's all, and we hope you'll find these interesting! As mentioned these are still works in progress, so they may be rough around the edges or subject to change. Any feedback on them is welcome!

i have a brain problem that prevents me from understanding people who need so much specifically newly-released TV shows that they're upset by the prospect of going a few months without new ones being produced
like they could stop making video games and books today and I wouldn't notice until sometime in 2026. honestly if they'd stop making new video games for a while that'd be kinda convenient. everyone take a break and let me catch up. I still haven't even played Persona 5.

Mysteries abounded as the US State Department was in the midst of negotiating a six-month extension to a technology agreement with China. Though the reasoning was clear - a need to bridge the gaps between two of the world's largest businesses - the specter of a new regime in Washington, and what it might bring to the table, loomed in the background like a gaunt, forgotten shape. It seemed as if we were entering a strange and uncertain new chapter in the ongoing technology race. A race that no one was sure how to win, or how to even navigate its shifting pathways. Only time will tell what high-tech marvels and high-stakes adventures await us in the coming six months. A new era of creation and destruction, of innovation and negotiation, of exploration and collaboration, all coming to the fore at a strange crossroads in human history.

So, uh.. Sun and Moon’s hypnosis… any visual demonstration to how they work?.. 😳
(Sorry if it’s weird to ask. 😓 )
Sunny got humble real quick</3
Lil canonical scene that perfectly answers your question, lol. Wanted to actually start drawing stuff with context, so have a crumb, I guess

"How To Watch the Academy Awards."
...?

...
"How to watch the Academy Awards."
"Well, let's see.
You turn on your device, whether it be a TV or a tablet. You find the Academy Awards ON that device, whether it be turning a knob to change the station or surfing to the URL they're streaming them from. And THEN … wait, here's the tricky part … YOU SIT RIGHT DOWN IN FRONT OF YOUR SCREEN AND YOU WATCH THE ****ing THING."
*one beat pause*
"I mean, cm'on, people, it's not all that complicated here."
