the logic of the company i am working for: how could we optimise the productivity numbers? it surely must be the workers who don't pack one package within only 2 minutes. let's invest WEEKS of sending analysis teams in who check each and every wokers speed and how they handle their work tools. maybe the tape roller is on the wrong place.
The workers complaining since months? That their tools are old and broken? There is no air conditioning in the summer heat? The work materials are not in stock and they constantly have to wait, materials are not properly labled? work stations are too crowded with stuff and too small to properly move? Humans get tired during hard work over a long period of time?
Nah! That can't be it! It is because they take every product one by one to place them properly instead of taking like ten at once.
(but the funny sus thing is that it was fine for months but now all of a sudden we are too slow... guess they adjusted their win numbers a bit and try to guildtrip the workers for making them lose too much money when we are so slow)
edit: and once again they told me i am to slow working on a way bigger package than usual where you constantly have to count, the packing description is shit, the products smell of chemisty
I told her it is not possible for me to work faster since I have to count the whole time, keep the numbers in my head, organise my workplace with the empty containers, double check the serial numbers. And instead of telling me how to work faster she's like "Anyways you have to work on your time since you also get fully paid like the others." 🤬
