My childhood cat was named Kot, which is cat in Russian (4yr old me wasn't creative), so I was wondering how many cats named cat (in whatever language) are there?
well anon there is one cat named cat and one cat named katzee which is almost katze aka cat in german and also one neko altho it's pronounced niko so probably not japanese for cat.
no kots no gatos no mačkas no kissas no kasses no Γάταs (not the transcribed version too) no cicas no katts no kazs no irings no pusas no usings no ngerus no kusings no sakas no pakas no ingatis no injangwes no mphakas no mushuks no kedis
there is a katkat that is technically catcat but who knows if that was the intention behind the name.

TSC Deregisters 44 teachers, Issues Fresh Warning
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) took disciplinary action against 44 teachers and deregistered them, as announced in a Gazette notice on Friday, March 31.
The TSC CEO, Nancy Macharia, stated that the teachers were no longer permitted to teach or assist in any teaching practice and could only be reinstated with prior direction from the TSC. Additionally, the schools that employ them would face prosecution.
Macharia explained that once a teacher's name is removed from the TSC register, it cannot be reinstated without the commission's direction.
Therefore, a teacher who has been removed from the register will no longer be considered a teacher for purposes of the Act with effect from the date of removal.
The TSC did not disclose the disciplinary actions taken against the 44 teachers, but it is known that they were found guilty of violating regulations.
The TSC warned schools that employ these teachers that they would be charged with an offense, fined not less than one hundred thousand shillings, or imprisoned for up to two years, or both.
The TSC has been implementing strict measures to regulate the teaching profession in Kenya. The commission has been working to weed out unqualified teachers and those who are not fit to be in the profession.
The TSC has also been monitoring the conduct of teachers to ensure that they maintain professionalism in their work.
The 44 teachers who were deregistered included Irene Atosa, Ekutan Everlyn Ekiru, Denis Riungu, Juma Erick, Obel Herman, David Wanyama, Nicholas Korir, Faustine Mule, and Thomas Ngeru, among others.
The gazette notice indicated that the teachers had been removed from the TSC list since October 2022.
In January 2023, Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu warned headteachers against imposing extra levies in schools. He threatened to take prompt action against teachers violating the directive.
Machogu affirmed that the Ministry of Education would follow the instructions to the letter, as President William Ruto had given clear instructions that teachers should not ask for additional charges from parents.
The TSC's actions against the 44 teachers demonstrate its commitment to maintaining high standards in the teaching profession.
The commission has been working to improve the quality of education in Kenya by ensuring that teachers are qualified, competent, and uphold professional ethics.
It is essential for teachers to uphold the highest standards of professionalism in their work. They play a critical role in shaping the future of the country by imparting knowledge and skills to the next generation of leaders.
Therefore, it is vital that the TSC continues to enforce regulations that promote professionalism and competence in the teaching profession.
In conclusion, the TSC has deregistered 44 teachers following disciplinary proceedings. These teachers are no longer permitted to teach or assist in any teaching practice, and schools that employ them will be prosecuted.
The commission is committed to maintaining high standards in the teaching profession and ensuring that teachers uphold professional ethics.
The Ministry of Education has also emphasized the importance of adhering to regulations that promote professionalism in the teaching profession.

Todays test chamber features everyones favourite classic Aperture hardware and a very interesting thing going on in the corner. Is it a combination lock? Is it decoration? Who knows? Not me. But it did look very cool doing its thing there in the corner.
In the past when playing maps by the creator anklejbiter. I have had a habit of accidentally miss-solving the puzzles, I have no idea if this was the case once again with this chamber, but it was fun to try and solve even with my moments of utter confusion while I tried to work out where I actually was in the chamber. Not to mention the some what embarrassing slip up with the orange speed gel that sent me sailing into the deadly, deadly, goo.
