Day 12: Hello! More new ink testing. I didn't shake this one as vigorously as the others so I think the consistency was slightly thin. (But last time I got so many bubbles!) Should have found a stick and stirred it up a tad more. Still a beautiful rich pink color! Love how it pops on black and white paper.
I have a discount link with code JWA in my bio for 10% off at FWP. (Not sponsored. Bought these with my own money.)

nib’s so pretty,,
not quite sure what i think of this piece. i struggled with the shading so i ended up not doing it entirely. that was a waste of a solid half hour haha
also it’s super cool how nib uses a calligraphy pen, as the weapon fern uses is a spear that resembles a calligraphy pen :0
but in all honesty, i adore nib’s design!! especially the swirls on the left side of their face and scarf shjshs the outfit it super cool as well!! i love drawing baggy pants <3 but man, it’s been a while since i’ve drawn skeletons, i need to get used to this again-
sillygoofy PLA/Little Nightmares crossover with akari and my pla oc, nib, as Little Guys. their adults/monsters are prof. laventon, ingo, and volo. and they win at everything and nothing bad happens ever. the end
some more shit from today, featuring the Effects of groovy long legs and also some of Nib(the oc i posted earlier that i just now managed to put a name on) being completely normal and not troubled at all
Good inexpensive alternative to flex nibs for those looking for line variability on the cheap.
Also a bit easier and faster to use, if you don't mind twisting the pen around to get fat strokes. really good for quickly and precisely filling in blacks. I normally use my Pentel Pocket brush for the task, but it can be a bit tough to get really tight spots without going over a line.
Id still say a flex nib has more fun bounce, but it's like sketching with a rapier versus a machete. Rapier is beautiful but difficult to fight with. but you cant deny how gorgeous the forms are, and nothing beats the precision. Machete is a beautiful multi tool thats far sturdier but has the nice swish and form all its own. And requires way less finagling to wield.
i can see the fude being more beneficial for fast sketching where as the flex is better for careful considered inkwork.
