Not to be a wannabe influencer, but I really wanted to let y'all know that Shovava, the creators of these gorgeous wing shawls, is having an insane 50% off sale rn. I adore these shawls so dang much, they're my signature clothing item, but they're usually pretty pricey! If you want a great deal on them, and support an indie artist, now's your chance!
This one's the Samsara shawl in cotton🍂
Use my referral code YUKIPRI86469 on the Shovava site for 20% off orders over $85! YES it's combinable with their sale!!!
I keep buying second-hand clothes and finding they have tiny holes I didn't notice as soon as I put it on. This one I got last month and am only just now fixing it so I can wear it. Thanks to whatever rich idiot decided to get rid of it instead of fixing it themself... I have a growing collection of really nice sweaters I would never be able to afford new that got thrown out because of some holes
i am playing professor layton and the curious village on my ds. very fun!!!
I don't know if i'm very far in because most of the time spent in that game was me being confused and bad at puzzles. it's fun though.
!!! im glad to hear youre enjoying it!! its one of my fav titles and honestly such an underrated series, id love it if more ppl gave it a try!
the puzzles can be difficult but very rewarding!! i used to dread them as a kid but now i find them nice and challenging. the math ones are still hard, but if u speak to Flick at the cafe he'll give you chess puzzles which i think were my favorite ^_^
I've been really slammed at work with two huge deadlines so I'm writing a ton for that, but also trying to finish this RH chapter, and I think the stress is combining the two into a wretched Katamari monster ball...
last night, I'd left my fic up on my laptop on the kitchen counter when I'd checked a recipe and then of course added a few lines, my partner read some over my shoulder
my partner: jess....?
my partner: ....why is ah, Count Dooku discussing documentation in this scene?
On one of my usual walking routes there's a pair of mannequin legs out in the front garden of one house and today they were standing in and topped with snow
There's nothing else to this really but I do enjoy someone having a pair of very shapely mannequin legs that cut off at the lower torso out in all elements. If no one else got me the mannequin legs on [redacted street name] got me
I got a camera with my tax return... just a (very) fancy point and shoot, basically, and I can't do anything with it until I get a memory card (oops) and also I don't have a computer that's really capable of editing photos so that's a bridge I gotta cross, but ANYWAY I was amused when I took it out of the box because
Another new spindle test. This one spins great even before it has the weight of some fiber.
Don't know the wood type, but its both dense and fairly easy to carve, so it's really nice. Also tried to do some more articulation than the other ones, not to much effect. Did finally manage to offset the tip in a natural way, so the heartwood right at the center (which is much weaker and sort of pithy) doesnt make up the bulk of the tip, so hopefully it'll last a little longer.
