I mean, this situation would be disgusting no matter what Nikita looks like, but the fact that Nikita is a fully transitioned trans woman who looks like a supermodel and they still put her in the men’s prison just highlights how transphobes are the delusional ones. It reminds me of that one tweet that’s like “at a certain point misgendering just becomes funny. I have double Ds, the waitress thinks you’re senile when you call me “he,” grandpa.”

Absolutely disgusting that they did this to her, her life could seriously be in danger in a men’s jail/prison. And I don’t doubt the fact that she assaulted a cop has something to do with her poor treatment since the “justice” system worships the ground cops walk on (not that Florida would have probably given her much leeway anyway since she’s trans and it’s fucking Florida).
