Little thing I wrote for the new AU hehehehhe

A loud booming sound emitted off of the metal door, making Cryptor startle out of his sleep. He breathed heavily and instantly gazed at the door. He lifted the vanta-black covers and threw his legs over the bed then quickly walked over to his dresser to grab a black robe to put on and covers his exposed torso.

As he walked past his bed, he swiftly grabbed one of his swords just in case it was an intruder. He turned the door knob and forcefully opened the door to a tall inhuman like figure with four arms and I stone like texture.

“Kozu?” He said, lifting a brow. “It’s two in the morning. What do you want?”

The stone general stared at the shorter robotic general for a few more seconds before speaking in a rough calm tone.

“The Overlord asked for your presence.” Kozu said. His expression soft underneath the demonic looking mask.

Cryptor slightly scowled at the statement but then stopped midway through.

“Wait, why are you up this early?” Cryptor asked, now leaning against the door frame, his robotic tail weaving behind him.

Kozu just stares in to the red glowing eyes as he processes the question. “I don’t require sleep, remember?”

“Well, I technically don’t need it either but here I am.” Cryptor flashed a smile.

“The Overlord requests your presence.” The stone General repeated with a more demanding tone.

The robotic General groaned and it ended with a hiss.

“Okay okay.” Cryptor said, waving it off. “I’ll be back in a minute.” He shut the metallic door and a click sounded, the door locking.

Kozu stood there looking in silence as he stood outside the door tapping his foot for a few seconds.

A minute later Cryptor opened the metal door now wearing a gray ripped up shirt with the sleeves torn off and black wrappings around his arms. In the dark pastel blue wrapping around Cryptor’s waist held two sheaths that held swords in it.

Cryptor flashed a “ready to go smile” and both of the Generals walked down the hallway both of their horned shadows dominating the floor.

Kozu and Cryptor both walked back in the long dark hallways to their destination. As they waltzed, Cryptor usually started the conversation.

“What do you think he wants this time?” Cryptor asked in a curious tone, looking up at Kozu. The stone General only responded with a shrug.

“I’m not sure myself,” Kozu said. “However, I don’t think he is in a good mood right now.”

‘Fuck…’ Cryptor thought to himself. Whenever the Overlord is in a bad mood, someone gets badly hurt while in the vicinity of him. Its happen to Cryptor multiple times. Kozu…? I’m not sure.

Cryptor gulped down his worry and tried to pull off a smile.

“I’m sure everything will be fine.” Cryptor said.

‘I hope…’ Cryptor thought.

More Dod stuff, meet two of the highest ranking members of the Garmadons faction, Generals Kozu and Aspheera.

(I tried to draw Samukai. It sucked, and I Do Not Want to draw him, so I've decided that he got sick of having to follow the Garmadons, so he and some of the Skulkin have split off to do their own thing)

Kozu and the rest of the Stone Army were revived by Misako after she recovered the crest from the Helmet of Shadows from Dark Island. The spell that binds the will of the Stone Warriors to whoever is in possession of the crest has since been removed by Misako (having the indestructible members of your army be controlled by something that can be lost/stolen is a massive weak-point, so she got rid of it before it could be used against her family), and the Stone Warriors follow her out of actual loyalty (and also bc they dont really know any life outside of war)

Kozu is Lloyd's most responsible babysitter

Releasing and recruiting Aspheera was Garmadons idea. It was purely bc he figured it would bother Wu. He was right.

Aspheera gleefully leads the Serpentine forces who allied themselves with the Garmadons (most of the Constrictai, all of the few surviving Anacondrai, about half of the Venomari and Fangpyers, and a handful of Hypnobrai) against Wu and his allies. She wields various magics as easily as she breathes, a more jack-of-all-trades kind of sorceress than Misako. I also made it so she still has her Hypnobrai eyes, instead of having them be changed bc of her imprisonment for whatever reason. Since she's an ancient Serpentine, shes from a time before the Tribes all evolved into the five different ones in modern Ninjago, so she has a few traits from different tribes (I'm debating on whether or not she has any kind of venom)

She takes great pleasure in seeing how annoyed and off-put Wu gets when she flirts with both Garmadon and Misako. Misako doesn't play into it, but she also doesn't stop Aspheera bc she thinks its just as funny as Aspheera does. Garmadon has not noticed that Aspheera is flirting with either of them.

Aspheera is Lloyds favorite babysitter.

Initially I was going to have Cryptor on here too, with a story about Borg Industry making the Nindroid army to help Wu combat the Garmadons, before the Army was hacked by Unagami and brought onto the Villains side, but I actually like the idea of Cryptor being a Hero while also being a massive asshole.

So next post will have him, Wu, and some of the other Heroes

Cryptor: despite only writing him one (1) time, I have many, Many thoughts on a Cryptor redemption. I think most of the nindroids created under the Overlord were very easily repurposed by Cyrus Borg to be normal security guards, keeping most of their personalities intact–because they barely *had* personalities beyond serving the overlord. except for Cryptor. Cyrus tries to bring Cryptor back as a nindroid free from the Overlord's influence, but Cryptor's entire purpose was serving the Overlord! Given a new life, he lashes out, and promptly gets himself killed by accident, which is why he's a ghost in Day of the Departed.

Cyrus has never been one to quit, though, and upon finding out that Cryptor appeared as a ghost, he tries again.

Cryptor gets his second-second chance as an AI in a computer without internet access. Cyrus is willing to give Cryptor a proper body eventually, but Cryptor has to prove himself, first. Cryptor is extremely reluctant to do this, very angry, and feels like he has no purpose anymore. After days of Cyrus patiently trying to get through to him, Cryptor eventually lets slip that he feels useless without the Overlord, so Cyrus decides the best way to help him recover & redeem himself is to give him a purpose.

Here's the thing, Cryptor didn't entirely get to be a person under the Overlord, but he was more of a person than the other Nindroids, and therefore is harder to simply upload Good Guy Programming into while keeping his personality intact. He needs space to be a person for a little while.

So Cyrus has Cryptor be an assistant to [insert someone who would be funny here], and slowly, Cryptor learns to be a person.

Kozu: I mean. he's controlled by the stone helmet, right? I would have him smash the stone helmet until it was nonfunctional, and return to the overlord's dark island continent thing to be independent with the other stone warriors. They have a nice village there. sorry I don't have more thoughts.

Here are my concept designs for "The Stone Wars" prequel idea that's been spinjitzu-ing in my brain since yesterday

ID's under the cut instead of on the images now because holy shit they're not very usable on the actual images. (ALSO they're long as FUCK!! I tested with like, a v standard, basic screen reader and it took 4 minutes and 30 seconds???)

The first image depicts the Lego Ninjago villain known as "the Overlord" in his "first form". He is seen with four arms, all in varying forms of motion. He has black skin, with several golden markings. He also has four legs, akin to that of his "centaur form" from Ninjago Crystalized. He has a very long, purple loincloth, and he wears grey and gold thigh guards, as well as grey and gold bracelets. He has a long tail with a large tuft of fur at the end, and two sets of horns, one reddish-pink, one white. He also has very messy hair, akin to a mane. The text on the image reads (from left to right) "Overlord's 1st form", "Retractable(?) claws", "2 sets of horns", "Thighs/wrist armor similar to Stone Warriors", and "left hind leg".

On his breastplate is a silver medallion with a green gemstone, and a few spikes. He wears a black samurai helmet, (meant to depict the Helmet of Shadows) with a silver mantle. The Stone Warrior wears red and silver armor like Kozu's however his arms are solely red, with black hands. He has similar thigh guards to Kozu's, and he wears a black samurai helmet, with red horns on them. On his chest is a grey medallion with a green gemstone. His skin is black, and he has green eyes and red markings on his face. He also has red and silver boots.

The Stone Swordsman has a red and silver breastplate, and plated armor that's colored dark gray underneath. He has a dark red belt, and much simpler thigh armor than Kozu and the Stone Warrior's. He wears one pauldron on his right arm, with a few spikes sticking out. He lacks armor on his arms, and instead shows his yellow markings on his black skin. On his chest is a grey medallion with a green gemstone. He wears a red conical hat and a dark gray samurai mask over his mouth. He also has red and silver boots.

Lastly, the Stone Scout is much shorter than the other soldiers, sporting a red conical hat, an archer's arrow holder on his back, a shoulder pad on his right shoulder, a right arm with minimal armor, and a left arm covered in armor. He has a dark red belt, red and silver armor all over his torso, and thigh guards. Unlike his fellow soldiers, he lacks any footwear. On his chest is a grey medallion with a green gemstone. He also has black skin, green eyes, and blue markings./ end id ]
