Egalt and his teaching methods really struck be because they directly contrast Lloyd’s teaching method

Egalt is strict, blunt, and demeaning, he isn’t going to tell you he believes in you the way Lloyd does. Lloyd is the first to pat you on the shoulder and tell you that He believes in you and you should believe in yourself.

Particularly with Arin- Egalt was actually teaching how to do the Rising Dragon technique, while Lloyd let Arin do his own thing because Arin has a Gift/Talent

Egalt would tell Arin he didn’t have enough of the foundational skills and in the next shot Lloyd is there telling Arin he can do it

You realize Lloyd hasn’t bothered to teach Arin spinjiztu and it’s probably because he thinks he doesn’t need to- Arin will just get it

Arin not getting better because he isn’t receiving the right teaching / advice fuels Lloyds fears of not being a good master and fuels Arins fears of not being fit to be a Ninja. It’s a quaking cycle

​Egalt and Lloyds methods are on opposite ends of the spectrum but both ultimately failed at helping him,, they are both out of balance you could say

Makes you wonder where Arin would be if Lloyd had taught him before. Can’t help but wonder if Lloyd being the original “gifted ninja” and the chosen one tampers with how he teaches

Kai from Ninjago is not stuck in the nether space. He has never been at nether space and he should never be at nether space. Nothing against the nether space, but he has been at ninjago for 10+ years. We all grew up with Kai and why would we let them relocate him for absolutely zero reason? The new writer should just create a new character that is at the nether space, not rewrite one of the best Lego characters in history. Sign this petition if you think Kai should stay away from the nether space. Once we reach a good amount of people who have signed, I will not contact the new writer on Instagram cuz what the hell is wrong with you.

Having to “kill” your dad bc prophecy told you to, seeing your friend die, having to banish your dad after you just got him back, getting possessed, actually having to kill your dad to save the world, having your uncle vanish with no trace, failing your mission to save the royal family and having them die on you, getting deeply betrayed by the one you love to the point you stop trusting new people for several years, having your dad come back but not remember you + almost kill you, losing your powers during the most crucial time, thinking almost all your close friends were killed by your dad, finally getting your friends back but then thinking you lost one again, literally dying and meeting god aka your grandpa, your dad leaves you again, having to deal with an electric chicken, almost dying in a lava trap, finding out your lost friend turned into a genocidal warlord who took over an entire realm and wiped out a species, thinking you’re reuniting with the dead loved one who betrayed you but finding out she’s just a simulation before getting virtually killed, having your mom be kidnapped for months, getting framed for the assassination of a king, watching your friend almost drown to death, losing a close friend bc she became one with the ocean, seeing your other friend isolate himself in a tower for a year, getting thrown in jail, reuniting with that supposedly dead loved one who betrayed you, finding out she’s behind basically every catastrophic thing that’s been happening for the last few years + she tries to manipulate you again, finding out your dad who left you has actually been chilling in an apartment for months, seeing ur dad basically loves a plant more than you 😭, thinking you lost your dad again after you just got on goodish terms with him again, finding out he lied to manipulate you, and then the god damn merge happens 😭😭😭

Not to mention the absurd amount of times he’s been kidnapped and put in a cage,, or the fact that he’s probably gonna outlive everyone,,,,

Wildbrain/post oni trilogy era Lloyd went THROUGH it man,, and he just keeps taking more and more L’s ;0; so glad ninja never quit bc I would have quit back in season 4

Just for like. An explanation if it’s not entirely obvious, Charlie’s greatest fear is hurting any of the kids, or just kind of like. Losing their trust in general. Around this point in the timeline, Lloyd’s made it extremely clear that he doesn’t trust Charlie (and for. Good reason.), but is trying to give her the benefit of the doubt bc she hasn’t tried sabotaging them in any way, and the kids really really like her. Charlie ended up caring about them farrrr more than she thought she would, and with Lloyd’s deep distrust of her, and her knowing her own track record and history, she’s afraid of hurting the kids whether it be purposely or not.

Hope u like it, this took me ENTIRELY too long.

What if, after Kai gets banished, jay starts getting some of his memories back but it’s still all foggy. Which ends up making him mistakingly believing that him and Kai are meant to be together. So he starts building his own portal and willingly teaming up with ras so he can be reunited with “his true love” only for it to come crashing down when Kai comes back
