If I said the Serpentine War happened ten years before canon/season one in my AU, then that just means Garmadon didn’t waste time and conceived Lloyd sometime after.

The one thing I like about WattPad is being able to have many parts set in draft.

I say this because I wasn’t kidding when I said I’m stretching TMNG, my 2003 fic all the way from season 1 to 4. It’s in fact 112 parts (including prologue and epilogue, Isabella chapters and even a Splinter chapter or two) with only 5 parts published as of right now. You want to see?

TMNG is my longest fic planned ever and that’s not considering it being book one of Isabella’s series.

Book 2 is set in The Lost Episodes/Ninja Tribunal arc. It’s only separate because it introduces new concepts and characters to it.

OCtober 2021- Day 5: Throne

Prompt is here!

Time for my favorite basilisk boy and my favorite part of the Serpentine Rebellion arc!

He waited for this day for a long time, ever since he learned to gallop with all four of his legs. It happened to be the day his father and many other siblings were killed while his mother and the younger siblings left their home realm all entirely into hiding.

It has been years since then and now he finally made it back. His mother and rest of his younger siblings were back at the Serpentine Rebellion base where it was hidden right under the Pythor and his followers’ snouts.

Right now, the Serpentine were celebrating their victory in imprisoning their enemies and having all of the blades while the rebellion themselves were getting ready for battle.

A member or two from each of the serpentine tribes had joined his side in this inevitable battle, but even then he only remembered the handful of them, the first few that joined his cause. A Hypnobrai-Anacondrai hybrid, a Constrictai and his Venomari wife, an impressionable Venomari, a Fangpyre archer and a half-serpent sorceress.

Although they started out with few, he was glad that others began seeing why Pythor was wrong for what he was doing. The violet serpentine was a cannibal, a liar, and he was willing to let the Great Devourer roam free. Not to mention the unsavory thing he screamed at the Master of Wind. “You either get your future sight ability that my comrades have gifted you working or you’re going to be spending the rest of your days laying our brood all over this continent! And believe me, I don’t mind reviving my entire tribe through you.”

The furious scream that followed after his echoed loudly the tunnels and it didn’t take a genius to realize that it was the Master of Earth, rattling the bars and trying to reach his significant other. Even Tezca was terrified, but it also fueled the fire that needed to be lit under Pythor’s tail. It was perfect. The others were seeing him for what he was.

Now he was at the end of the road. The Serpentine Express had flaming engine under its hood and it looked smokey in the middle. He chuckled at that. “Attor..” He learned how to refine venom into acting more like a smokescreen. It didn’t surprise him when he had grabbed a few gas masks for the others. Other serpentine were thrown off and he already guessed it was Knucker the brawler from the Constrictai tribe.

Tezca would be proud but right now, he had to stop the Express right here in its tracks. At the very, very least, he had to slow Pythor down and make sure the Fangblades didn’t reach the Great Devourer, Echidna. He wasn’t about to see her eat everything until nothing but her and any possible brood remain.

He steadied his feet and just as the living vehicle was about to make contact, he was quick to grab it and hold it back. “What the-?!?” He heard from inside the car and saw the Anacondrai leader look out at him. “You?!? I thought all of you Basilisk were extinct!!” Clearly he thought Vasuki was bluffing during his imprisonment.

“Well I’m not and guess what, you cannibal traitor?” He lifted the front a bit and pushed it on its back wheels. Pythor was clearly panicking on the inside, pushing the pedal to metal.

“I’m taking the title of Snake King back.” The other serpentine who fought by his side came to help, holding the front end up.

“My family’s throne was never yours to have!” And with a roar, they all pushed the leading car of the express on its side. Pythor tumbled on the inside with the sensei who was holding him up til he fell back unconscious.

The Anacondrai slithered out of it in a daze with the Fangblades in hand but was grabbed by the shoulder and turned to meet the Hypnobrai-Anacondrai hybrid.

“This is for my dear Anacondrai mother.” He sent the message along with a hard enough punch to crack his forehead gem a bit. “I won’t forgive you for what you did to her. Maybe you can ask her for forgiveness yourself?” He suggested while the Anacondrai slipped into further unconsciousness.

Minor spoiler since the chapter based on this won’t be written for so goddamn long but I’m just honestly so proud of this.

Wu hesitant to teach Sam, another wind master because of his past with Morro that no one knows about: *tries to teach her anyways but her powers keep going haywire or not working at all*

Garmadon, a dark lord whose only ever known destruction as his power: *has a better teaching moment with Sam showing his eventual ability to become Sensei later on*

There’s the top five AO3 fics that went by hits throughout all years and then there’s one that’s technically recently been added. I can’t promise a reward. Especially when it comes to TheyDeservedBetterShipping. They’re forever stuck in hiatus unless I scrap the whole thing and redo it which isn’t likely going to happen. They really did deserve better. Ever just make an OC and you think they’ll just be a one-off character but then all of the sudden, whoop. You dive into the character to understand how they handle a situation you put them in, you help them succeed, develop their personality more than you planned and you’re just attached to your little baby now so you’ve got to see them grow and flourish and make it to the happy ending they deserve?

The last of the notable Serpentine members of this group is none other than Attor, a Venomari spy/scout, basically a rogue.

Before joining the Rebellion he was planning to actually to be a warrior by climbing the ranks, however that changed when a fight went wrong and he spilled blood of another warrior, making some hatchlings lose their parent.

Now he’s more of a spy/scout for the Serpentine Rebellion, often reporting back from the inside, and picking up info from the meetings in Ouroboros, which is when he passed on the information that Pythor seeks to release the Devourer and that the Anacondrai had imprisoned a Master of Wind who was “gifted” the ability to see events in the future by the Anacondrai alchemists in their tomb. (Like I said, in my AU the Serpentine War dragged on a bit and it would be ten years before the pilot episodes/season one. The HoT would be one of the battles happening during it, but let's put the time siblings on the back burner for a hot minute and let me cook.)

When he joins the Serpentine Rebellion, Knucker would be taking the Venomari teen under his wing, training him, while Melusine would comfort and teach him the herbs and other medicines. (The two may as well have adopted him.) This would eventually lead him to make poison with some herbs and he would learn how to refine the Serpentine venom from liquid to a gas.

My little Venomari boy is about to commit war crimes with his substitute parents.

Took me years but I finally have name for my main Ninjago AU now.

It's Ninjago Reconstruction AU.

Doesn't sound too original but the idea is that things are basically the same but I reconstruct it to my liking.

It wouldn't be the first time he would break someone down. The djinn gave an informative hum as he looked over the kunoichi. Her hair was long and dark, eyes were an indigo shade and there were some scaly markings on her face. She glared at him with a scowl and from the looks of it.

He knew of her nature.

"You're quite an interesting case, little hybrid." He spoke calmly. She didn't answer back at him, for her own sake than for his. She could practically smell the magic he had twisted around to his own will. It smelled like something that was all too sickeningly sweet and mixed with a foulness to the point where she'd rather stick her nose elsewhere.

"Oh? Not going to talk eh? Come on. There must be something you have in mind, Katherina." No, there wasn't. She had her encounter with a wish-making device and plenty magic users before and it almost costed a lot, way too much for everyone she cared about involved. Be it souls or important memories were the prices of them. Besides, she never told him her name.

"Not even a little wish?" He was persisting and it annoyed her quite a lot, but kept her calm as best as she could. He wanted her to break and eventually, it was going to piss him off to the point of pulling out his sword. At that point, she'd have to figure out whether to distract him or to grab the sword from him.

Even if it was going to be difficult to disarm a four armed djinn, Kathy would have to try.

OCtober 2021 - Day 6: Mask

Another battle sequence but this time with Lloyd’s adopted Oni Mom and the Oni Masks in Ninjago act more like those in Jackie Chan Adventures. (Seriously watch the series it’s so good)

They didn’t know what to expect. The masks gifted them powers, abilities they could only dream of. Some of them would make the Elemental Masters envious of the level of control they already had.

The raw power inside the Oni masks just tempted them as much as it had unknowingly tainted them. The three humans wearing them had the masks on long enough for them to stick and fit on their face so well to the point of reshaping them back into their former selves.

So to Asuna, she didn’t know how to feel seeing the three powerful Oni generals standing before her. She had heard stories of them when she was a mere cub who didn’t know better yet. They were fearsome and they were causing destruction in their wake.

The child she had adopted, who grew up too damn fast in her opinion, was already trying to defend people’s homes. The blonde haired ninja already shown his horns to them and he growled at them for holding his father and his crush down.

They simply found it amusing and with a swipe of the tail, slapped him hard enough to not breath and fall back, gasping and curling up. “Hah! You’re the First Spinjitzu Master’s descendant? This dog’s pup?” He picked Garm up by the one front horn. “What shame they must feel for you. Don’t worry. I’ll do the FSM a little favor just this once.”

Asuna couldn’t stand there and watch anymore. A hoof was ready to stamp down on his head but she managed to grab him and barrel roll out of the way with him, staying on top of him protectively. “What?!”

“I already lost my other cubs. I won’t lose another!” She bared her teeth completely to him. “He’s not yours!” She growled back to them, “He’s been mine the moment I met him.”

“Surrender him now, traitor or this one gets it.” He picked up a woman in dark clothing and red makeup, holding her up by her white hair. The boy beneath her shifted and reached for her. “Ru… mi..”

The boy was too kind for his own good. He didn’t listen to her warnings about her but she supposed she was young once too. He was too good for this world and she knew that. “Put her down.”

“You first.”
