I feel like with the way I headcanon him Falcon could be very cuddly and affectionate one minute and then the moment he discovers there’s danger he just suddenly becomes distant, even if Robert (or anyone he’s with) hasn’t been alerted to the danger yet (as in the Champion Belt alerted Falcon in some way. Alternatively there is Mewtwo) so at some point Robert learns to identify this but it still surprises and worries him when it happens

Throwback to that one time I threw Twitter into chaos over whether or not Princess Peach is the artist behind the paintings at her castle. A lot of people were all for it, but some were so vehemently against it that they tried to debunk it.  It’s just a silly headcanon, dudes. Calm down. Peach does more than just bake and get kidnapped. Since that last episode of Melon’s Adventure isn’t done yet, here’s something to tide ya’ll over a tad! Concept sketches of the giiiiiiiiirls! owo

I originally wanted to do these three AND Pauline, but I never got around to Pauline so I figured I could go ahead and post these. I’ll probably try to make a full sketchdump for Pauline to make up for her lack of being here though. o3o Anyway, some funfacts and thoughts on these:

I really liked how feisty Peach was in the movie so I decided I wanted to mix that in with how I personally see her. I see Peach as a woman who is unapologetically girly, and has a wild, adventurous side. I tried to make show that by filling her out a little more, largely by giving her more angles than I previously had when I drew her. Basically, a bit more box-y and not entirely soft. owo

Then there's Daisy! Since Peach, Pauline, and Rosalina all have long hair, I wanted to contrast that with Daisy by giving her much much shorter hair. I also tried to make her a little more masculine and a tad rough. Finally, her eyes; nearly every character (with the exception of Bowser) in Super Mario has blue eyes. While I've already broken that canon, I decided to try out something a lil extra with Daisy by giving her red eyes instead the original green I gave her. It surprisingly fits! o3o

And of course Rosalina! I really like her base design, as I do for all the characters honestly. But I also wanted to try and make her look far less like Peach than she does in game, so I played with her facial features a little bit. I wanted her to look visually older than either Peach or Daisy; physically around the same age as Pauline, even if she herself is thousands and thousands of years old. Given my headcanon around her, I was hoping to make her look a little... tired. Being an immortal goddess comes with many pitfalls, one of which is her being kinda lonely, and I was hoping to convey that in her design. She's sweet as she can be, but there's always some sort of longing about her, if that makes sense. Good thing she makes friends this time! ;w; I'm not terribly sure about her hair overall, and her side profile gave me so much trouble, but I think it's in a place I can accept it at least.

Bug Fables Headcanons #1 Courtships (Marriage Proposals)

Every bug in Bugaria whenever they’re looking for the perfect mate and/or life partner.. they find a shiny gem in order to properly propose the bug. You can simply fashion the gems in any shape or form. For example necklaces/pendants, rings, or similar leave it as it is.. if you prefer it to be a potential good luck charm or family heirloom. (To sum it up similar to a normal human marriage proposal.)

You can buy a gem from a traveling merchant or at any part of the kingdom however the gems price range in berries is quite hefty, so might I recommend to think carefully before purchasing a shiny gem in case it turns out to be a fake.

Marriage proposals for nobility on the other hand are completely different story.. All they have to do is to carve their family emblem within their gem fashioned in any way they choose.

If it’s a fake or a forgery then the marriage won’t be approved.

It can be any kind of gems or gemstones rubies, diamonds, sapphires, quartz crystals, etc just as long as it came from the heart of the individual. (Metaphorically speaking.)

Usually my headcanons don’t take the existence of the Master Spirits (as Master Spirits — I have shit tonnes for Dr. Stewart) into consideration but for continuities where they do exist I have a few headcanons:

• Toadette is the leader of the Master Spirits

• Dr. Stewart, Doc Louis and Slowpoke are all best friends, kinda like Falcon, Samus and Fox but not necessarily bonding over anything in particular. Dr. Stewart tends to carry Slowpoke in his arms and in return, Slowpoke frequently uses Water Gun on Dr. Stewart’s hair (both in and out of his arms) meaning the Master Spirits have all seen him with his hair down

• The Balance Board can be annoying to everyone which is sad because it’s kinda cute

• The Master Spirits lost their memories after the end of the events of World of Light. Mewtwo (while a fighter, not a Master Spirit) is the only one who knows about their time as the Master Spirits
