✨ before & after coloring challenge ✨

🥰 Thank you so much for the tag @aejeonghae 🌸

The last one I made was a while ago, so I had to try how to do this again 😅 And I like to connect those callenges with my tropes-collection - I always have enough stuff to work with without the need to collect new content 🙈

Most of the times I just try to be realistic with my coloring. Even when I try to be a little bit adventurous, I can't really do it and I come back to what I know. The sharpening makes quite a difference and often helps with slightly grayer/foggier videos. Most of the times the gifs look soooo much better just with the sharpening. And after that I play with everything I have in my repertoire…including Selective Color, Vibrance, Curves, and if the image is too dark I prefer to work with Exposure rather than Brightness/Contrast. With series like "Lita" or "Ghost Host, Ghost House", which have a strong yellow basic setting, I try, before the actual processing, to take out and weaken something of the yellow.

Well, the before are the lower sections without any editing and my after are the upper sections with sharpening and coloring.

BL- BOYS' LOVE: A Short Story

from Vietnam..HEY RIVAL, I LOVE YOU.

This BL came to mind again after watching Thailand's NITIMAN THE SERIES. Yes, what would make me connect the two?

I was reading some reviews and some I read thought it was odd to have BBomb so in love with Jin for a simple gesture like switching lunches because one could not eat spicy food.

I'm perfectly fine with other people having differing opinions. Stand by them (your opinions) but others may see things differently. You never know what a person is going through inside even if outwardly they seem okay. Or maybe they don't seem okay but you see it as not your problem because it's not your job as an individual to cure the world's ills.

However one act of kindness to a person in despair or a sad person could give that person a different outlook. Something so simple could bring another person joy or happiness. You just never know.

So why did I make the connection to this short story. Well it was about two guys "fighting" because they were dating the same girl. Two seemingly straight men came together to expose a girls duplicity and spending time together somehow changed their circumstances.

And suddenly love for each other outweighed a duplicitous female (she happened to have a front row seat to their feelings) and she tapes them on her phone releases it. Then (cue the tissues) acts like the injured party.

Still can't make the connection to NITIMAN THE SERIES. It's cool just the way my mind works sometimes. DON'T JUDGE ME (😂😂😂😂) Just kidding. I happen to like the short story A LOT when I first watched it. Well I still do. And I liked NITIMAN THE SERIES 🤷🏽‍♂️

A LOOK BACK at BBOMB & JIN

NITIMAN: THE SERIES (2021, THAILAND)

The road to love for BBomb (PHOULUANG THONGPRASERT aka NOH) and his crush Jin (THANATHORN KHUANKAEW aka JOM) was a rocky one.

Beginning with Jin's relationship with Bbomb's manipulative cousin Aim. As she (AIM) seemingly stole Bbomb's crush from the beginning and her subsequent guilt and trying to correct her mistake by micro managing everyone around her to get Bbomb and Jin together.

Bbomb was often mean mugging (in my opinion) but his love for Jin was definitely solid (the reason for his love was a bit weak but we all for our special someone for varying reasons)

I often thought Keam (SARUN BOONMONGKOL aka KONG) was into Jin or BBomb with his cloak and dagger lingering watching them although he always lost his sh*t when that baby faced college freshman appeared in his orbit.

But ultimately Jin did find love with BBomb, not the best BL by any means..yet it holds a special place in my heart.
